Reviews of Little Prague European Bakery

We ended up going right when they were about to close and bought a ton of these. They were all soft and very flavorful. Personally I think they were a little expensive... But since we were just visiting I was happy to drop some money on these.

Delicious! This was a very great and friendly experience. There is very little seating but it's very easy to get takeout to go. The pastries were amazing. Fluffy and light and they tasted great. I don't know the Woman's name who served us but she was so kind!! It was overall a great experience.

Flew to Seattle for a cruise and had planned on going to a czech restaurant they have because there are none where we are from. Had to drive over 30 min to get there. Prior to going even though google said it was open we tried to call to be extra sure they were open. No answer went to voicemail 3x. So we took a chance and went anyways. Upon arriving , looking forward to getting some czech dumplings we arrive and they had no regular food, only some pastry's. We told them what happened and although they were very sorry they could not do anything. They said due to economy and being short staffed they are currently not selling food. We were understanding because the economy is messed up where we are from also (opposite end of the USA). The food we wanted is displayed online and was why we went in the first place.
I am giving them 4 stars because the employee's were so kind to us and very apologetic about our issues. The point of this review is so they will take food off there internet listings including google and maybe answer the phone so this does not happen to anyone in the future.

We picked up some pastries at the West Seattle street market. Everything looked delicious. The eclair and fruit bar tasted old; dry, stale, and dense. The poppy seed pastry was ok- nothing to write home about. Hopefully the goods are more fresh in store.

Great find! Authentic Hungarian goulash just like we had in Prague. Would be a supporter of a full scale restaurant and expanded menu. Czech beer to go with the food would be great. Keep it up!

Lovely little bakery. A hidden gem! Their poppy seed strudel is so delicious, I even see it in my night dreams :)
People who work there are very friendly and sweet! I’m looking forward to my next visit to the Little Prague and hope to try their famous dumplings and stew as soon as they open for dining in.

We visited the shop today and had excellent roasted pork with cabbage and duplings. We also bought bakery products for Sunday breakfast. People who run it are very nice and even speak Czech!

A rather unique little Cafe. Good food and tasty pastries. The owner is lovely and service is great!

Amazing pastries and some of the friendliest service I have ever experienced in Seattle. Finally came in after living down the street for 9 months and can't wait to come back

Very flavorful danish style pastries. I was a fan of the blackberry and the raspberry. Not too sweet, which I really liked.
Ginger Goodspeed
Service with a Great Smile and such a fun place for morning coffee and pastries. My favorite is the cinnamon rolls! Great chai tea latte's too.
Adam Limoges
This place is absolutely fantastic. I like that they provide only 10-15 options of delicious pastries and they DO THEM SO WELL! Cinnamon buns are amazing!
Dale Rodgers
The goulash and roast pork dinners were delicious and very authentic...the saurkraut was perfect 👌. The dumplings were just right! The pastries, although we haven't finished them all, have been delicious. …

Delicious legitimately wonderful pastries in a more traditional European style (lighter on the sweetness, with broader, more developed and savory tastes), at a VERY reasonable cost.
The service was very friendly and were given an additional pastry to try to go with our order which the cook was experimenting with, which had an unusual and really pleasing savory walnut taste. Thank you!
If you walk past this shop without picking something up, you're doing yourself a disservice.

I moved away from West Seattle beginning of the year and I still have cravings and daydreams about the amazing pastries and hot beverages from this place. I cannot wait to go back and enjoy some fluffy, crunchy and gooey goodness and lovely service.

The pastries (kolaches, strudels) are not authentic, I don't know who told them to put cream cheese in there, it's too greasy, it should be more dry, maybe cottage cheese instead, I don't know... But it just doesn't taste like Czech things. I'm little bit afraid of trying meals there, but I hope it will be okay. Otherwise they're nice. The places interior is kinda depressing.
Also, why do they have so weird opening hours?

The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the pastries were delicious! We got the hot bite and two kolach - poppy seed and lavender. The poppy seed kolach is unexpectedly delightful!!

Poppy seed strudel is the bomb! They're at most farmers markets around town. But stop by the bakery for lunch/dunner and order goulash. I promise you wont be disappointed its delicious! They also make great coffee which is only available at the bakery.

Stumbled upon this gem at the Ballard Sunday Market and I am so glad I circled back to get some pastries. The raspberry filled strudel and the authentic Czech kolaches were so delicious. I got the apricot/cream cheese kolache. Sooooo yummy. Reminds me of when my Czech grandpa used to make baked goods.

I picked up what I thought was a regular cream cheese kolach today at the Capitol Hill farmer's market. Wow! I had no idea what I was in for. There was a surprise layer of cinnamon apples baked into it that took it to a level I didn't even know existed. Already looking forward to another one next week!

Delicious food, if you get the right chef. Next time I'm going to go by and ask if Milan will be cooking. I'll drop by rather than call because they don't answer their phone and they don't call back if you leave a message. Milan is a really excellent chef and worth the trouble, but then, luckily, I live nearby.
Jeremiah Price
Great bakery that we found next to our short term rental. The soups are delicious and the baked good are our faves.

Cute little shop with great pastries. Looks like they do a few Eupopean meals for lunch/dinner too. Everything is made from scratch in-house

Simple, Tasty, Comfort food. Wonderful atmosphere unlike any place on Seattle right now. Old world charm from Europe.

Loved some or most of all of their treats , love the variety and the fact they made me feel as if I was having a piece of Germany

Tried to visit 3 times, was always closed :( BUT they are regulars at Seattle central farmars market and can only recommend the pastries!
David K
They people are very selfless and have the great water I could have ever asked for the other day! There food is delicious and I highly recommend them!
Michael Gross
Only the rolled out flat pastry with filling is the best.. the others are too doughy.. and they only got what they got.. not going out of their way 4 anyone..
Jay Mitra
Delicious Czech meals (excellent bread dumplings), and really nice kolaches, well worth the trip!
Andrew Brogdon
Not a huge selection, but the kolaches were excellent, and the service could not have been more friendly.
M B
Could be better - the coffee was mediocre and the pastry/baked goods weren't as good as what you can get at Piroshky on 3rd.
Mark K
Very good pastries and friendly service. Definitely worth going back to.
Heather Shier
