Reviews of Boca Argentine Bakery and Pizzeria

The pizza here was great and I love that it comes out personal sized! The pastries that we tried were good as well. I went at lunchtime on a weekday and it wasn’t packed, but this was when it first opened. I was obsessed with the decor. It was so light and airy and inviting. It was the perfect place to stay and enjoy your meal. We even sat on the small patio area because it was a beautiful day.

Amazing!!! I order one of everything (sweet side of the menu) and I was in heaven every single pastry was absolutely delicious.
I can’t wait to stop by again and try the pizza and sandwiches.
Update: The pizzas are amazing too.

The food here is amazing. The Borlas de Fraile was light, fluffy, and had the perfect amount of filling. Generally for all of their pastries and empanadas, service is quick. I ordered a Margherita pizza and it was also well made. The crust and bread of the pizza was flavorful with a mellow tomato and creamy mozzarella. The basil was fresh and everything looked beautiful. The Margherita was lighter, not as dense, and less greasy compared to my friends Calabrese.
I would love to give Boca a perfect score, but I believe their service can be improved. There is a general sense that things are happening so fast, they won't worry about your situation if you need a lot of seating. Generally, not a very hospitable atmosphere.
If you order a pizza, be prepared to wait closer to 30-60 minutes. They might not remember your number, order, or name and they might even do your order late, so I would pay attention to make sure your order gets to you on time. I recommend coming here if you want really good food, have a small party, and have plenty of time to kill.
There was a kind waiter who offered me some sweets and because of him I didn't give Boca less than 4 but generally they're a busy restaurant with a lot of customers, so be wary of that.

I decided to stop by this place over the weekend. It was around lunchtime And it was fairly packed. I got in line and looked at the incredible looking pastries in the front window while moving toward the front.
Personally, I wish they had menus closer to the front instead of right by the cash register. But, I did figure out in time what I wanted. Went for a pizza, salad, and a coffee. It was all VERY reasonably priced and I have to say, it felt refreshing.
The pizza was delicious. They added little mozzarella balls (i think) that melted down in the brick oven. The salad was fresh. The coffee was delicious.
Absolutely loved this spot. Will come back!!!

Love the vibe, the pastries, the staff… Andrea is amazing and you can tell the team is working hard to make this opening successful. Also a perfect iced latte (I know one may think that’s hard to mess up but believe me it is) Perfect amount of ice, espresso, oat milk, and sweetener. Catch me here weekly.

Delicious authentic Argentinian breakfast food! The churros are mind blowing. Reminded me of what I had in the Mexico streets, double fried and stuffed to the brim. The mushroom empanadas were also a highlight. The medialunas were a little stale, and the caprese empanada was soggy, salty and needed some chimichurri to balance it.

This bakery is great! Their pastries are very sweet and delicious! I loved the croissants. Service was good and the atmosphere was good too!

Cute spot. Pastries are decent. Maybe it’s still new, service takes super long, both to order and for food. And we waited 30 minutes and the staff realized the order wasn’t in the system.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I’ve been waiting for a spot like this since I moved to Seattle. Really good pastries, food, and friendly staff. It felt like I was in Argentina for a while. My highlight: “medialunas de manteca”

Just recently opened to the public! I'm extremely excited to be able to try out all the wonderful alfajores, medialunas, cakes, sandwiches and pizzas this place has on the menu.
On my first trip I asked for a Latte and an alfajor de maizena. Really good!
Can't wait to become a regular at this place.

This is my new favorite bakery in the area by far.
I ordered an asado sandwich and my girlfriend ordered a "fosforito", both were super flavorful, fresh, and reasonably priced.
To top it off, we ordered a "Pastafrola" for dessert which was amazing 😍

Real Argentinian bakery! Best medialunas ever! Really nice place, with Buenos Aires vibes. Excellent food, perfect for lunch and breakfast.

One of the best cafes in town. Great sandwiches, nice natural lighting, friendly staff. It's a great way to spend a rainy Saturday.

Finally we have a taste of Argentinian pastries and pizzas in the PNW! The fugazzeta is amazing, and you can't go wrong with a medialuna with dulce de leche for dessert. Looking forward to Boca introducing Uruguayan Chivitos and fainá to the menu :)

I went for lunch with a friend. It was moderately busy, but the 3 person staff seemed overwhelmed. Took awhile for the pizza but so worth it for me. And I gave it 5 stars for the food, which was stunning.
One thing that put me off though was a female staff person (who was very nice and competent wore a cloud of perfume. If you have allergies to such things, be warned.
I'll be going back to try the baked goods soon, though.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this place! The interior is absolutely amazing, especially for being so centrally located. It is huge with high ceilings, amazing furniture, great lighting, and an adorable patio as well. The decorations and interior design really captures the diversity and ambiance of Argentina, having the Latin flair with a slight hint of European influence.
The food is absolutely amazing, completely caught me by surprise by how fresh, delicious, and tasty everything was. I ordered a croissant with cheese and was really not expecting anything fancy, but the flavors completely blew me away. I was shocked at how good something so simple could be. For dessert, I had a delicious layered pastry with caramel and marshmallow on the top. It was shocking how wonderful and delicious this dessert could be without being too sweet. My boyfriend who usually won't touch dessert because of the sweetness almost devoured the whole thing.
I can honestly say this cafe tops any of the other places nearby. It is going to become my new go to for coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and more. I've heard the pizza can take some time, but it honestly seems worth it as they make everyone fresh and to order. The oven is right behind the register and you can watch the chefs at work.
I love this place and cannot wait to return!

Stopped in for some lunch and pastries. They make their own potato chips and they're awesome. I'll have to go back for the pizza because it looked amazing to watch them make it. Loved the pastries especially the different croissants.

good food and service and the decorations are amazing, I miss buenos aires.

The food was great. Pastries are the ones that you will find at the great bakeries from Argentina.
Additionally, the atmosphere is very nice, with waiters and cashiers being very welcoming.

Delicious treats, great place and friendly staff.
We’ll definitely return to this place.

The 3 pastries I tried were delicate, flaky, and delicious. Inexpensive by Seattle standards, too! I'll definitely be back

Visited this bakery for the first time. Great bakery, tasty products. They have pizza oven right behind the counter. For the lunch they also serve pizza and I will try it later.

Happy new addition to the neighbourhood! Pleasant atmosphere to catch up with friends or hanging out. Lovely vegan sandwich with pickled eggplant and roasted vegetables and I'm not even vegan. They even make their own potato chips! Yum! I would share a photo of my plate, but the food is gone.

I've been there twice and loved everything I've had. The first time, I had one of the hot sandwiches (Delicious! $9! Huge! Came with freshly made potato chips!). For a day or two afterwards I wouldn't shut up about wanting to eat lunch there every day from now on. Today I had cafe con leche and a sandwich cookie. So good!

Your experience at this place totally depends on who works here and how busy they are. Yesterday I had a perfect time there and everything was great! But today it’s so busy, the staff were aloof and rude. And the whole store smells like the stinky fruit Durian for some reason it made my head dizzy. 😷 I would avoid the weekend there. …

Open and airy place we visited for lunch while renting a nearby house. Nice little selection of pastries for breakfast or brunch. We had a small margherita pizza that was tasty, thinking back I probably could have polished off a pie on my own but sharing it with my daughter worked out. We also took some empanadas back home with us. They were great but different than Mexican and Filipino empanadas. I would describe them as being more like mini circular calzones. If we ever go back we will definitely be getting more of them. Staff was very friendly.

This place is really great. The pastries, pizza and sandwiches are all fantastic, and they also sell a bunch of staple Argentinian products that you can’t find easily in Seattle, from dulce de leche and Argentinian olive oil (and snacks)
Ayesha Borker
Best macchiato and croissant i have had in seattle so far. The steak empanada was okay. Did not try the pizza.

I haven't been to Argentina but to me this is what Argentina would feel like. Owners are Argentine and food is really good. Try the Mate here.

I have been coming to seattle for a few years now and this is the best Bakery and Cafe i have been to. The smiling faces of the staff, owner or manager, the quality of service and food and the place’s fine taste decor all make it my favorite. This is my third visit to this place and i highly recommend it

Very authentic Argentine medialunas (croissants) and churros. Having lived in Argentina for over a decade, their pastries are something that I've been craving for years! The croissants are soft, fluffy, buttery, and beautifully layered. The churros, filled with dulce de leche, are crispy with the right amount of sweetness and crunch. I'm super excited that they opened and will be going back as often as I can!
Natalia Androsz
Amazing spot for authentic Argentine pastries! Get a cafe con leche + medialuna de mantequilla for a taste of Buenos Aires here in Seattle.
Matias Czerwonko
As an Argentinian I can say this place is 100% legit. The medialunas here can put any place in Buenos Aires into serious competition !! Definitely recommend

Finally an Argentine bakery in Seattle! Been looking forward to this place and it did not disappoint. Medialunas and the vigilantes con crema (I think they’re called) were amazing. Good coffee great vibe definitely coming back!

Update: I go at least 3 times a week because the products are really very good, the employees are very friendly but the last time we were served by the owner and we did not feel comfortable, the attitude was not the best, I think you should leave that only the employees attend or be more friendly and cordial with the clientele.
