Beautiful little shop with fantastic service and a vast array of options. My cinammon roll was perfectly good - but what really knocked my socks off was my spinach and feta scone. Wow! Highly recommend this little bake shop. Bonus points for being open on Sunday. They are very affordable too, my three items were only $12. PS: They have vegan cinammon rolls.

Sweet magnolias! What a selection of scones, brownies, and assorted goodies. Cheddar corn scone was amazing ( their scones are light and biscuity, not denser traditional). Also one of the bakers makes these adorable earrings, and the floor is hilarious.

It is a cozy bake shop. No seating area which is not an issue. However, it can get crowded. Staff is very friendly. We tried savory sun-dried tomato scone, sweet blueberry scone, and cinnamon-roll bread-pudding. It is superb. Writing now makes me want to have more. Pastry lovers must try this Sweet Magnolia.

I ordered a custom cake for my dad’s birthday and it was INCREDIBLE! I am a total frosting gal, and this was so wonderfully decadent and delicious! My dad’s favorite flavors are chocolate and peanut butter, and this was the perfect marriage of the two flavors. Needless to say, my entire family are now huge fans! :) When I went to pick it up, the staff were knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. All around excellent experience and I know where I’ll be getting all of my custom cakes from now on!

I (Tara Miller) owner of The Heartland Interior Design, had the privilege of being the interior designer that worked with Sweet Magnolia's Bake shop on their interior remodel at their first brick and mortar location. We wanted the interior environment to accurately reflect the brand's incredible website and social media presence. Their baked goods are as delicious as they are beautiful and we really wanted them to be the star of the show. We accomplished this by incorporating brand colors and colors that are complimentary to the brand. We designed a new point of sale and selected a countertop that would be a great backdrop for the baked goods. We selected bright white paint colors for the ceiling and walls in order to make the space feel larger and more bright. We worked through multiple iterations for the back mural wall and had a local muralist paint it. We selected durable yet beautiful tile for the back wall and entry floor. We coordinated with a local tile installer to get the wording on the flooring just right. All in all we love Sweet Magnolia's Bake Shop for their products and now we are SO happy that their interior is an accurate reflection of their colorful and vibrant goods. Thank you for letting us be a part of your interior transformation! :)

Sweet Mags is easily one of the best bakeries I have ever been to. It's a haven of whimsy and joy. I mean, look at this beautiful, tiny, impossibly precarious cake. Have something to celebrate? This place will create a confection worthy of the occasion. Having a bad week? Go to Sweet Mags for a cinnamon roll or unicorn bar and it's not a bad week anymore, it's a week that you had a dreamy cinnamon roll or unicorn bar. Keep up the great work, you sugar magicians.

I have nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about Sweet Magnolias! Not only is the owner a gem of a human, but their treats are absolute perfection. For my wedding I wanted to do a variety of bite sized desserts with a personal cake, and each and every flavor was delicious! Kat went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and I had so many people ask where they could buy them afterwards. As a fellow small business owner, I can tell how much hard work and love goes into Sweet Mags. Each time I have a brand shoot I make sure to swing by sand grab a variety box because each treat is picture perfect. It’s truly a Nebraska gem and I continue to go back again and again!

The greatest bakery in Omaha. The scones are too notch and I recommend. I also recommend getting the cinnamon rolls. Honestly anything you get is going to be the right choice. The owner is nothing short of amazing. Women owned business and has my support ❤️ If you want a cake for your wedding they do those too but make sure you order ahead of time to get your spot. Sweet Mags is my absolute favorite bakery in Omaha! I’ve never had a baked good that I didn’t like. It’s my go-to for family and friends celebrating birthdays and other life events, and a staple at gatherings with friends. I always tell visitors to stop here as well. Some of my fave items include the spinach feta scone, raspberry scone, oatmeal cream pie 🤤, key lime bar, cardamom knot, and cinnamon roll bread pudding. I love how creative the recipes are, and the selection of traditional and inventive items. Go to Sweet Mags! You won’t regret it! 💜

I’ve been seeing some bad reviews on Instagram and I wanted to make my review. The bake shop is literally one of the best bakeries in Omaha. They are so nice and their pastries and sweets are perfect. I tell all my friends about it all the time. I go at least once a week to one of the locations. They have great options for gluten free and vegan people. Don’t walk, RUN to sweet magnolias. You will not regret it.

I love every single thing I’ve ever tried from Sweet Magnolias! We had our wedding cake ordered with them (chocolate salted caramel) and we had at least ten people telling us it was the best cake they’ve ever had. My husband also loves the malted Oreo cookies with a fiery passion.

The proof is in the pudding! My wife and I love this bakery. Baking is an art as every ingredient must be carefully prepared and measured. Never the less, they make it look easy. Upon first walking into this little bakery, the fresh smells of amazing homemade cookies, scones and cinnamon rolls is accompanied by the sight of a small group of young culinary artists effortlessly toiling behind the counter. It’s an amazing sight I can only describe as majestic. They are truly masters of their craft and pioneers of baking innovation, as the seasonal items and their ingredients follow the seasons and changing weather. Lavender and peach scones in the spring and summer, and mixed berries, spices and poppy seed during the winter. I can’t say enough about Sweet Magnolias, 5 STARS does not do it justice, Google needs to add more stars just for Sweet Magnolias.

Edit: We have stopped here about 5 or 6 times, and it’s never been quite as good as the first time, unfortunately. It’s still good, but the quality and done-ness of each bake is not consistent. The same thing is different on different occasions. Furthermore, the service is usually a bit odd, not warm and welcoming. It almost feels like we’re an imposition when we come in to buy something. We’ve made special stops for it several times in hopes for a return to the first time glory, but we may be done making special stops for this bake shop. We don’t live in Nebraska, but we’re already planning our next trip back to this place! The bakery itself is in a charming little area with a beautiful old cathedral and charming homes. The goods were actually greats, if you ask us! My husband and I were planning on just getting a couple of things to share for a lite breakfast because we were going out for lunch not too much later, but we ended up with 2 scones, 2 cookies, and 2 bars. It’s amazing that’s all we ended up with! Everything looked soo amazing. Looks were NOT deceiving. We got the cheddar bacon chive scone and the dark cherry almond scone. Both scones were lite feeling and really just melted in your mouth. Wonderful subtle flavors. For cookies, we ended up with one of the sea salt pistachio oatmeal scotchies and a molasses ginger cardamom cookie. How could we resist such intriguing twists on classic cookies?! They executed them delightfully. My husband wants all of his future ginger cookies to have cardamom now, haha! Seriously, very intuitive and amazing cookies. Okay—now for the bars. The tahini butterscotch bar and the bourbon pecan bar. My hubby liked the tahini butterscotch bar better and I couldn’t get enough of the pecan one! Can we just talk about that crust for a second? Yummmm! And while we’re at it, the shortbread base of the tahini butterscotch bar was simply mouthwatering. Can you now understand why we’re already plotting a way to get back here soon? If you couldn’t tell from the above, I definitely recommend a stop by this amazing bakery! No wonder the window is full of awards!!!

Someone blessed our church staff with a box of baked goods from Sweet Magnolias this week. It was the first time I've ever had it, and I fully intend to make sure to have it again. You really *cannot go wrong* with this bake shop, but especially with their wide variety of vegan options. Everything is SO incredible you'll question how they possibly could have created such perfect deliciousness without the ingredients we've been taught were mandatory for baking (eggs and dairy). Everything I’ve purchased from Sweet Mags has been delicious! The staff is very helpful and friendly. I ordered a pie for thanksgiving and got the pickup time wrong. When they called to ask if I was still coming to pick it up, I was at an appointment and couldn’t leave for another hour. They stayed over an hour after closing the day before thanksgiving in order for me to pick up the pie, even though it was my error. Can’t wait to pick up my valentines treats next week!

Although it is seasonal the crew at Sweet mags made one for thanksgiving so family out of town could enjoy and try it. Well priced bakery offering an assortment of goodies. There was a very high number of bars (lemon, bourbon pecan, etc) so good selection there. Their scones were good. Discovered this place 2-3 months ago and so glad we did! You can taste the fresh ingredients. They really helped to brighten people's day, and they were absolutely delicious. This past weekend for Valentine’s, I got my first ever Sweet Mag’s order, and I have to say, Im utterly impressed and wowed not only by the food, but the service as well. I had scheduled my order for an early pickup after an overnight snowfall, and service was not only prompt and easy for curbside pickup, but kind too! I had messed up the dates online for the valentine’s cookie cake orders by ordering it for one day early, but when I picked up my order, they offered to give me one that was available at the moment. It meant a lot after driving in rough weather to not have to come back the next day! I got a cookie cake and sugar cookies to gift and enjoy myself, and both were utterly incredible. I was so excited when I saw the cookie cake option for the first time since they are my boyfriend’s favorite but there aren’t that many options for cookie cake in Omaha, and his review is that it is the best cookie cake he’s had, EVER. Im already excited for my next order and trying something new at Sweet Mag’s. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a holiday treat, or a treat just because.

Ok I just got back from here. I stopped in for the Pride Bars which I heard about and are currently on social media and I am in love! The bars are absolutely divine. Now I am a full figured person and I love my food and sweets, so take this as expertise! The bar is a soft and moist cookie texture and the icing is smooth and sweet, but not overly so. Not gonna lie, I got myself two of these and was going to save one for later but decided YOLO and skipped lunch and ate them both. Do check this place out and do buy from them. They also do give back to the community and these Pride Bars are going to help Black and Pink which is a very important organization. So good.

Sweet Magnolias Bake Shop is the #1 Bakery here in Omaha. Where every pastry is brimming with the love, passion, and ingenuity of their chefs. I'm particularly obsessed with the savory scones, and would start every day with one if I could. Honestly, Sweet Magnolias is as dreamy of an experience as Remy had in Ratatouille visiting Gousto's Restaurant. Definitely a gem to have here in Omaha! 15/10

They have many different flavors of brownies and cakes and pies. they are to die for! the staff is so nice and they facility is so clean and well kept. Be aware when ordering online (they don't allow in store ordering or pickup at this time) their system automatically adds 18% gratuity to the bill, unless you catch it and make an adjustment. I understand the last year has been difficult for everyone, especially restaurants and any business that is related to food. Many people will tip this amount or greater and others will not tip at all. I merely want to make everyone aware. I like their products and have been a fan and customer since they opened their doors many years ago.

I ordered my birthday cake on January 24th for my early May birthday. I waited patiently for my birthday. I am prepared to order my birthday cake for 2022 today. Seriously...I’ve never had a better cake. Everything about it was perfect...visual, texture, taste. Worth the wait, and I’m not joking about wanting to order another ASAP. I might start celebrating my half birthdays so I can do this twice a year. A standard two layer cake was more than enough for my party of 12. Almost half the cake was left, which I happily sliced up and froze in little sandwich bags. Why are you still reading this? Order your cake!

Wow! Sweet Magnolias not only makes the BEST sweets, they also have the nicest owners/employees! I had tried GF/Vegan Pumpkin Bars from a nearby coffee shop and thought they were the best I've ever had. I went in to buy some from Sweet Magnolias directly. So excited, I forgot to mention I came in for the GF/Vegan bars. I posted about them after I purchased and the shop messaged me and said "oh no! Those are the regular ones!" They asked me to come back and they already had a box ready for me. I had given away one bar already and taken a bite out of another one, but they didn't care and gave me a whole new box. I could not believe their generosity and was so thankful they caught my mistake prior to my allergic reactions kicking in! Sweet Magnolias gained a life long loyal customer because of it! Absolutely hands down one of the best bakeries in Omaha. If you're looking 4 delicious home baked goods, this is the place for you. Sometimes I think it's hard to find pastries, cakes, pies, cupcakes cookies and bars that taste like something you making your own kitchen. I've given up on buying cakes or pies from grocery store bakeries. Sweet Magnolias has phenomenal bars with real ingredients including butter. The desserts taste like something my grandmother used to make. At work, when we need a dessert bar, this is where we go. Trust me you won't be disappointed.

The brownies absolute best I've ever had. Scones, cupcakes and amazing bars (Key Lime, Almond Joy, Toffee to name just a few). But the absolute incomparable item is their holiday decorated sugar cookies. Seriously works of art. And they make them for many Holidays throughout the year. This place had a lot of hype from two friends. I went and it sure a heck lived up to it. Everything was soft and gooey when it needed to be, moist and fluffy when it calls for it, and most importantly mouthwateringly delectable. Our sample included an Oatmeal, possibly Scotchie, soft cookie sandwich with homemade icing between each soft and chewy cookies; an off the charts S’mores Bar with what appeared and tasted like heavenly melted marshmallows over fudge and gram cracker goodness in the topping and base; Raspberry Coffee Cake with crumbles of joy sit atop moist cake filled with fruit flavor; and last but not least a pretty large proper Scone with a good amount of fruit and tasty dough. Well done. We will be back for sure for your handmade treats.

New favorite place to get treats!! You can tell everything is made with such great ingredients. It’s a tiny shop right next to Lisa’s Radial Café. And right around the corner is Amateur Coffee. There’s not much room inside the shop, you walk in and place your order and go about your day. They have a pastry case full of cookies and other treats like brownies, lemon bars, and even miniature pie bars that are to die for. I crave their pastries all the time!! They have a couple locations in Omaha. If you haven’t tried them out yet, it’s time!
