Reviews of Le Petit Paris Bakery Omaha

I went there with my mom a couple days ago and was not let down. The macaroons where delicious and so was the almond crossiant. The guys there were really nice and convinced us to buy one of each thing. :) I definitely did not regret it!

Went there on Sunday morning around 9:30, that was what was available. I am looking forward to going there earlier. Raisin Roulade, Plain, Almond, and Apricot croissants were all good. Staff is very friendly and welcoming you to the shop. Definitely, going back.

Oh my goodness!!! This was so amazing! Yesterday was my birthday and all I wanted was something different, I drove from Lincoln to this bakery with high hopes and I wasn't disappointed! The eclair's we're filled from end to end, the Napoleon was our absolute favorite, closely followed by the fruit tart and triple chocolate deliciousness! I'll drive from Lincoln again to get these delightful treats!!! Happy happy birthday to ME!!!

Always fantastic and a great value. You can see the care put into each item and its moist flaky layers! Try the cruffin (pistachio shown here!)

Absolutely amazing pastries and bread. Order ahead so the items you want don't sell out before you get there. The opera cake is divine and the eclairs are superb. They make the best croissants in Nebraska. Must give everything a try.

I just stopped here for the first time in years, it was pure heaven. I had a plain croissant and a couple of chocolate cake balls. They just have that special something that makes them stand out. Check it out if you are in the mood for sweet treats you won't be disappointed.

This bakery is awesome. We are French and I can tell you that everything you’ll find here is so delicious. Croissants, baguettes, tartelettes … everything is so tasty 😃 and Cedric and his team are always providing amazing customer experience. …

Awesome place - opera cake, pastries, little individual scrumptious morsels, croissants and artisan bread. Come in early Saturday cuz' by Sunday there is not so many things to choose from. I was told once they bake the day before. Today (Saturday) there were pastry chefs baking as well. I had a lovely almond croissants with chocolate and pear.

So many wonderful fresh flavors. All of the fruit desserts are out of this world! The lemon tarts are the most incredible I’ve had and the fruit berry tarts are amazing as well. I love going once a month and just buying random items. The croissants are great but they aren’t the real show stopper here. Try a fresh dessert and you will be so happy you did!!

I have continued to visit this authentic French bakery the past couple of years. Everything I have had is delicious and fresh, from the bread to the pastries. Additionally, the prices are more than fair

I've been a loyal customer since Cedric opened the bakery. Love the ever changing varieties of French baked goods and bread.

So good!!!
I went to get some treats for my wife's birthday and she was very happy I did!
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the pastries were delicious!
Additionally they had a pastry that was very similar to one I had in Italy (Close to the border of France) that I've been looking for for over 5 years!
Unfortunately it was a "special" item that isn't made regularly, but at least I can have some hope for the future!

My absolute favorite place to get bakery treats outside of Paris. The spinach & artichoke pastry is to die for, but get there early to ensure they're available. The staff is lovely, quality is consistently high, and prices are more than reasonable
Ashlyn Ramos
Absolutely delicious. Needed some treats for a birthday tea party and i couldn’t find anything locally around . They had fresh treats on hand to buy with no need to pre order which is nice .

The quality of the products significantly decreased since the patisserie was opened. I use to buy every week from Le Petit Paris. Initially I would give 5 stars, now 3 stars. I hope the quality will get better.
Austin Bonk
The best Croissants in the Midwest for sure. The apricot and the spinach and artichoke are my favorites. The crustless quiche croissants are also a must. They are always kind and prompt to help. They do need (I believe 3 days notice) if you want more than a dozen. Spend your time and go out west to visit Le Petit!!
Destiny Taylor
Fast, tons of great options, clean, great prices, and wonderful service!

I moved away from omaha about 3 years ago but i still crave just about everything there. I can confirm that all the food is made as authentically as possible and you cant go wrong with anything you pick. The owners are a husband and wife who are some of my favorite people and are committed to excellence. Shout out to the morning ladies who NEVER fail to get a smile from each person who walks through the door as well as Austin the pastry chef who truly has a gift. I have been to Paris before and the owners, one of whom is actually french and grew up in suburbs right outside of paris, make sure many of their employees get to go, again because of their commitment to authenticity. Because of this, I can confidently say that the products at the bakery are the best in the midwest. The baguettes, the croissants, the eclairs, and the mousse are all spectacular. After your first bite you wont be able to enjoy grocery store products ever again. They taste exactly like they did when I went to Paris. I would definitely recommend the triple chocolate mousse or the fruit tart from the cold case and the chocolate or almond croissant from the pastry case. Although mostly i suggest trying something new each time because you wont want to miss out on any of it. I am so incredibly grateful omaha has this authentic french bakery and know for certain anyone who decides to go here will not be disappointed.

This place is the best French bakery I have been to in the USA! They are better than some French bakeries in france where I lived for 25 years. A must if in town 🥰. So fresh but get there early or you will miss out on some French favorites 😉 …

The Opera and Almond croissant were SO tasty. I’ll definitely come back sometime.

This bakery offers the best French croissants in the U.S. We’ve been to Paris, France, multiple times and the croissants at this bakery are literally as good as those on the streets of Paris. Fantastic, delicious, authentic, fresh. Truly worth the money and visit.

Excellent French style bakery in Pepperwood. Would recommend if in the area. High quality goods and friendly service. Their various baked goods and other offerings are delightful.

Le Petit is my go to place for French bread and pastries. Everyone is always extremely helpful and there is usually a very good selection of items available. It's a bit on the more expensive side, but I'm of the mindset that if it's a quality product, then I'm willing to pay a bit more (and it is definitely worth the splurge).
Nicholas Lawton
SUPER affordable, delicious pastries with super-friendly staff!
Mariah Zambuto
I love Petit Paris :) I go every Saturday morning, and they always make it feel special. The location is small and cozy, has great selections and impeccable quality. I'm staying with my family in Omaha for several months, so I don't normally live in the area. I have not been able to find a bakery of the same quality and authenticity. Le Petit Paris is my go-to bakery!!
Molly Bishop
Staff were so friendly and helpful, and the pastries were absolutely incredible! If you're thinking about going, just do it! (Heads-up, no seating here)
Philip Earsley
Get there earlier in the day for fresh pastries filled with apricots and chocolate, croissants, and highly delectable fruit tarts. Come for early lunch to grab a sandwich (I recommend the salmon rillete if available). There are cakes, bread loaves, and baguettes available as well as macaroons and flaky pastries. Whether it's a quick grab and go for the morning commute or sitting outside enjoying the day with coffee and pastries, it is a place worth stopping by.
Jess LaBudda
Delicious. The pastries are lovely and taste just as good.

I stopped in today because I was craving something sweet, and I wanted a quality product; I was blown away with what I found. The bakery is adorable, the case was clean and well organized, and the pastries were beautiful. Clearly presentation is important, and the flavors kept up with the presentation. I ordered the (original) opera cake, two French macarons, and a raspberry chocolate pastry and I fell in love with the first bite! Not everyone can do opera cakes well, they require skill and consistency and this opera cake was phenomenal. The macarons were delicate and flavorful (as they should be) and the raspberry chocolate pastry is probably one of the best things that I have ever eaten. And to top it all off, the staff was friendly and informed! The girl that helped me knew all of the ingredients in every pastry that I asked about and had personal preferences and suggestions, which is always good to hear (nothing better than an employee who’s passionate about the product they’re selling). All in all it was an amazing visit, and even though I don’t live in Omaha, I’ll definitely be back!!

I've been looking for European style bakeries for some time and found this place by accident. Took several tries since I kept coming during closing hours. the place is fairly small, but the selections are great! I've tried their croissants and the milk which are amazing! Will continue to visit this place since its near my work.
Rachel
The best french pastries in Omaha! Seriously, try their cream cheese cinnamon rolls. Although if you're looking for a place to sit and eat, I dont think this is the place for you. This bakery is strictly a grab and go kind of atmosphere.
Adam Ogura
Excellent, authentic baked goods at this lovely little shop. Prices are very reasonable for a true taste of France. Try the almond croissant or pick up a chocolate twist for the kids. Way more fun than donuts!
Kimberly Nguyen
The best bakery in Omaha. I love that their cakes are not too sweet that you get tired of them quickly but the right amount. They always have something new to try. Highly recommend!
bill jones
Went here on mothers day. Arrived 15 min before opening time, about a dozen in line. The owner came and opened a bit early. Really well managed, crazy busy and staff was friendly qnd genuinely happy to see everyone.
Sheryl Parsons
Great service, and we got one of the Paris things with hazelnut cream. Like biting into heaven. Absolutely will make the 20 minute drive for more!!!

Always love popping in for some French goodies 😋 …

Out of the French-style bakeries I've visited in Omaha, Le Petit Paris has come the closest in quality to those in France.
I've been a customer at Le Petit Paris for a little over two years and made my first visit shortly after their opening in October 2013. Since then, they've opened a second location in Papillion.
The selection of baked goods, sandwiches, quiche, and desserts rotate during the year, with some constants. My favorites are the pain au chocolat (a constant), quiche lorraine (fantastic crust), cinnamon roulade (another constant), salmon rillette sandwich, pumpkin cake (seasonal), opera cake, and baguettes. The last time I was in, I saw them unpacking chocolates, and I'm eagerly awaiting those as well.
I've often come in the afternoon, after work or classes, so the baked goods are not as fresh as in the morning. If you can make it in the morning, definitely do. Especially with baguettes, they are best enjoyed the day they are baked.

Nothing beats that soft pillow of baguette interior covered with that crunch 'n chew crust. They can do baguettes here and so much more. Their fine pastries are wonderfully decorated. You can't beat the professionalism of this establishment and the perfection that they know they bring to us in Nebraska. When you walk in, they are sure to greet you with a "Bonjour!" I love it.
PRO TIP: If you manage to save a pain au chocolat for your significant other, they'll probably look past the fact your breath smells of vanilla and almonds.

Beyond delicious! I had a breakfast sandwich here that still haunts my dreams. The reviewer complaining they don’t make cupcakes reminds me of the guy I overheard in Paris yelling at a store clerk for not accepting US currency. They’re a FRENCH bakery, and they knock it out of the park!

What a pleasure to have lunch at Le Petit Paris Bakery (84th and 370)! Locally fresh greens layered with thin slices of salmon in a delicious salad, accompanied with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a Strawberry Opera brought back pleasant memories of patisseries in Paris. Recommend!
Jason
This place is great for pastries, but not for bread. I got the rustic loaf and was expecting real bread. It’s more like a grocery store style bread than bakery bread.
Evett C
Super friendly service. But the lemon tarts had an odd taste to them. Also the fruit tart is only pie crust, whip cream and fruit.
Jennifer K.
Loved the personable people working there. The pastries and cake we got were amazing. We will definitely be back!

Their savory croissants are out of this world. Also a fan of the Nutella croissant. Bring cash as they have a $8.00 minimum to use a card.
