This pretty much gets 5 stars because of value. I didn't love all the pastries/breads. They ranged from a 3-5 stars, but you can't beat them price for what you get. It's definitely a fun place to go grab a number of goodies. The tray that I'm carrying in the picture was just under 21 dollars all together.

The international bakery is an Omaha gem. The smells alone rewards them with 5 stars. I could be wrong but I feel like they have the biggest selection of baked goods in Omaha. They have something for everyone! Their selection goes from savory items to sweet items and then everything in between. Highly recommend!

If you are trying to stay on a diet avoid this place ay all costs. The smell of the delicious breads will make even the strongest wills break. The breads are fresh and delicious and the selection is phenomenal. I recommend butter YoYos!

When I first went here, I was overwhelmed to see at the varieties they serve. I went to pick up a cake (photo below). It’s a mixed fruit tresleches and I am in love with this cake ever since I have eaten. They keep baking fresh stuff whole day around and everything is amazing. It’s less sweet which I really like and you can enjoy have their stuff without a sugar saturation in your palette. Should go!! Miss this bakery in Omaha!

The food here is absolutely amazing. They offer a wide variety of fresh pastries to sample from at pretty reasonable prices, most things a dollar or less. One thing to look out is that most things are labeled in Spanish as well as the cashiers speaking Spanish. There can also be a small lack of parking if the area is busy because it is on 24th street, but what you can get is worth the travel time.

The BEST bakery in Omaha! Being Mexican and living on the Texas & Mexico boarder most of my life, finding this Omaha staple has been a blessing. This bakery is the most authentic pan de dulce bakery here. This place has something for everyone. I love bringing my wife and son here for Sunday treats. Everything in here is delicious. The cost is perfect. Well worth it and nothing outrageous. If you've never had traditional Mexican sweet bread/pastries/cookies then you need to stop here. I recommend the pineapple empanadas! The facility is very clean and well kept. Everything is well organized and the traffic flow is steady. I've yet to have a long wait time here. Overall, this place brings a little slice of home to my heart. Its authentic and its the real deal. RECOMMENDED!

If you have never been to an establishment like this I think everyone should go and try it at least once. It’s the perfect place to get pastries for your office especially if you are on a budget. I can get 7 to 8 items for under five dollars. If you were to ask me what to get I would suggest you try everything. You can find bread pudding, homemade chocolate cake, cookies(orange zest is my favorite), fritters and other items that you might’ve never seen or heard of. If you get there for breakfast or lunch they often have fresh baked breads stuffed with Ham(Jamon), cream cheese and jalapeños (which you can pick out if you don’t like the kick they give), as well as ones stuffed with chorizo(sausage). A few things for people like me who don’t speak Spanish well: Pina = pineapple/ Fresca(sp?) = strawberry / manzana (sp?)= apple. The staff are nice and there is often at least one person who speaks English and can assist you. If it looks good try it. It’s extremely affordable and made with high quality ingredients. A fun idea for the springtime would be to get a bunch of items ( let your kids pick what they want) and go to a park where you can eat or try everything. If you are full or have scraps toss it on the grass near some birds, geese, ducks. Probably not good for them, but they enjoy it just as much as people do. Also great snacks for a trip to the zoo. My only complaint: they don’t have very many beverage options. I’d love to see Horchata and tamarind juice sold there as it would be delicious paired with the pastries. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love this panederia! They have what seems like over 50 different kinds of bread. Their 3 Kings Bread is praise-worthy (seasonal). The bread is sometimes so fresh, that you can feel the heat coming from the bag. Yummy, fresh, and super convenient. I'm always in and out in less than 15 minutes. My favorites are the pumpkin-filled empanadas and the bunellos that are filled with cheese and peppers. They also have fresh dinner rolls that are usually kept behind the counter. Fair price, and they are always very soft!

I go here for the best bread rolls baked with cream cheese and jalapeno peppers on the inside. The bread itself is so good and if you don't get them fresh out of the oven you can warm them in your microwave for a few seconds. Delicious! They sell many other kinds of pastries, too and the owners and staff are very helpful and friendly.

I love going to this bakery! Even if you have no idea what many of the signs say, try it. You will not be disappointed. Love getting the fruit empanadas that are triangle shaped. Also really enjoy the flan from the refrigerator section. Very inexpensive and worth going!

Grab a tray and fill it up with what looks good to you and take it to the cashier and they will bag it up for you to take home. Cool little south omaha gem! Go in, grab a tray and some tongs and fill up on awesome pastries, breads, and desserts. Really great prices and they have an awesome selection. Some of the cashiers do speak English, but it's easy to manage if you don't speak Spanish.

I stop in at least once a week. Constantly fresh bollios and a huge selection of pan dulce. Everything is very affordable, you can walk out with a bag of baked goods for less than $10. Don't worry if you can't speak spanish, just go in, grab a tray, pick your pastries and take your tray to the register.

With $5 you have an amazing selection of sweet breads to share with your family, friends, and co-workers. International Bakery has plenty of local cliental and is growing on the non-latino consumer as well. My co-workers notice right away how it's not a flavorless muffin nor bagel, yet not overtly sweet like a donut or pastry we (USA Americans) know. It is self serve. You will even see racks of sweet bread in the main area for your choosing, straight out of the baking area. They take cash or charge. They are quick to get you back out the door, so if you're in South Omaha, a few well spent minutes will make a huge differnce to your morning at the office or ending your evening routine...with coffee.

This South Omaha bakery has something for everyone. They have a huge selection of sweet breads, tres leche cakes, and more. The small bread loaves filled with chorizo, ham and cheese, or cream cheese and jalapenos are delicious and worth trying. They also sell bolillos, individual french like loaves, and bread for tortas. Everything is very reasonably priced.

The best Latin bread from Nebraska with the flavor of Mexico. It has a great variety such as: ox eyes, shells, stones, shortbread, bread stuffed with ham and cheese or chorizo and cheese, etc. The price is good and reasonable. I would only recommend that you check your tickets carefully since the girls sometimes make mistakes when bagging the bread and they can overcharge you.

I love freshly made bread and they always have it like this, fresh, just made 😉 I'm from Guatemala and it's the only bread I found related to the taste of panitos from my land. The prices are good, the girls at the till are always friendly and fast, I love the variety of flavors and textures in each bread. Although it's a little far from where I live, but it doesn't matter, it's worth it! 👍🏻
