The Grand Patisserie should be famous.. honestly. I can’t believe I just now got around to trying this place out. Their bakery is one of a kind, fresh, homemade, and delicious — everyone needs to know about it!! We got tons of baked goods for my sisters bridal shower and so I had the delight of trying out a lot of different options. I can say with absolute confidence that these were the best pastries I have ever had. My absolute favorite was the chocolate croissants.. and I’m salivating just thinking about them!! So fresh, soft, and everything you could ask for in a croissant. We also got the baklava, almond half moons, lemon tart, berry tart, and the lemon bars I believe. I won’t take the time to go through each one because the bottom line is that they were all DELICIOUS!! Absolutely mouth watering goodness on every level possible. When i came to pick them up the owner and his son helped bring my pastries to my car and were the absolute sweetest. They make you feel at home! I had FOMO and wished I could be apart of their cool pastry making family. If you’re in Omaha and you have a sweet tooth, go to the grand patisserie!!!

I'm always on the lookout for some super yummy pastries! We tried their regular croissant, chocolate croissant, chocolate cake, fruit tart, and vanilla and chocolate macarons. They had so many more options, along with plenty of items I've never heard of before! The croissants were as good as anything you'd get in Europe! Fresh, crisp flakey exterior and perfect soft center. The chocolate cake was unlike anything I've ever had before, and I mean that as a total compliment! It was very light, not overly sweet or chocolatey. The chocolate macaroon was also unlike any flavor I've ever had before, very unique! Overall if you are looking for delicious items and new flavors you've never had before, check them out!

I agree with another reviewer, this place should be famous. They use natural ingredients that are to die for. Everything taste really good. The coffee is excellent, I am enjoying it right now. There is a sense of elegance and you will enjoy every experience here, it is worth it.

My fiance and I went in to get a little treat and was Absolutely in awe of how pretty all the pastries and cakes looked! Everything we ordered was delicious and would recommend going in and spoiling yourself! Will definitely be going in again soon to buy some more! The lady who helped us was so sweet and helped us and told us about all the pastries and deals they have!

Absolutely delicious! If I had to pick my top 5 items, I would choose chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, Almondina cookie, Pistachio Cake, and Eclair! But that’s only if I HAD to choose, because quite frankly it was all amazing!!! Great service too, very welcoming and we loved hearing about the dessert creation and process/ingredients. Will definitely be back for more.

Absolutely phenomenal! The owner is so kind and personable, and the pastry chef at the counter was so helpful in picking out the perfect dessert. I was in awe of all of the options and they offered us samples as well. We'll definitely be going back!!

Hands down, my fave bakery in Omaha. The macarons are perfection. The coffee ones are my favorite. The texture is better than any other I have had in Omaha. They are soft and crispy not just crispy. Perfect. The focaccia bread is my son's favorite. He will eat a huge piece all by himself. All the pastries are immaculate. From the croissants to the apricot spritz and amaretti cookies, they put so much love into each bite. The star of the show though is the Pavlova cake. This is easily in the Top 5 desserts I have ever had. It's that good! I promise you will love whatever you choose!

We’re local to Omaha and just visited for the first time today. I don’t know how, but this has to be the best-kept bakery secret in the city!! Not only were the passion fruit macarons tangy and melt in your mouth, but the owner even came out to speak with us while our order was being packaged up and both she and the cashier were SO kind! We demolished the macarons and baklava (the best I’ve had in the US) in the car on the way home, and we can’t wait to try the rest! From two chefs, this place is a MUST!

This is the best bakery I've ever been to. The owner takes great pride their work and everything I tried tasted phenomenal. The best thing was something he recommended, their Mille Feuille (top left in picture). Macarons were the best I've found in the last year. Simply amazing, worth the two hour drive.

A taste experience! After many years visiting another French bakery in town, I believe I have found a new favorite. The pistachio cake was elegant and simply delightful. Everything is made in house and is a sight to behold as you enter. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will most certainly return. Well done!

This patisserie is awesome. We are French and I can tell you that everything you’ll find here is so delicious. Cake, macarons, tartelettes, mille feuilles… everything is so tasty 😃 We ordered a fraisier (strawberry cake) for our daughter’s birthday and it was delicious. The owners are super nice and provide amazing customer service.

Stopped here today while out shopping and looking for something sweet to eat. The staff was overwhelmingly helpful and kind. We were offered samples, given an explanation of several products, and helped with a smile. The pastries were delicious and high quality. The price was very fair for the quality of the product. This is the best food I’ve ever tasted and is by far Omaha's best kept secret. The owner has an excellent understanding of baking and merges cultures to make incredible foods. His goal is to use as little added sugar as possible to let the main ingredients shine through… and it’s a total success! This is now my 100% favorite place in Omaha and I can’t wait to return!

Visited on a whim. I wanted some cakes or treats to take to a lunch with friends. Purchased 4 slices of cake, 2 croissants, and 2 baklava. We sliced the cakes up so we could all try. The lemon was our favorite. All were enjoyable. (The rest were taken home and enjoyed) Returned the next day to get macarons and misc cookies for another gathering. Tasty!

It's hard to pick, because everything looks like it's a work of art. We had the chocolate mousse, apricot cake, lemon cake, pistachio cake, and vanilla, orange and lemon macarons. Everything was AMAZING!!! IF we had to pick a favorite, it would be the lemon cake. It is pure perfection! It's like all the wonderful things of Spring exploding in your mouth. The very best lemon dessert we have ever had. You simply can't go wrong with whatever you pick. The bakery is adorable, and the Owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet!! Their is something extremely unique about this bakery. I visit from Des Moines occasionally and this bakery exceeded everything I wanted everything is fresh the flavours are clean and very comforting. I stumbled upon this place while going to eat chinese at Panda House restaurant next door. The owner of this place is very friendly and nice. I purchased a few items and they were all delicious. My kids really enjoyed them. Highly recommend visiting this place if you want authentic baklava, macaroons, and thousand layered cake!

Went to the grand patisserie for the first time. Ed was working the counter by himself. You can tell he is very knowledgeable about all his food in the store. He is also very friendly and personable. You don't feel like a number here. I bought a number of items. I'll update this as I try them all. Lemon macarons 4.5 star Pistachio macarons 5 star I'm picky about pistachio, but this was a clear favorite Hazelnut macarons 4 star Mille feuille 4.5 star Super crispy if you eat it right away. It is suggested you eat it same day. The cream or custard that they use is delicious. Parking is available in a shared lot. It's free and easy to get to the store.

The owners are delightful and their products are incredible-delicious and beautiful. Current favorites include pavlova, pistachio cake, and chocolate mousse cake, and pain au chocolat is a must have every time. And palmiers. And mille feuille.

So we randomly stopped in between games at a near by basketball tournament. The owner and staff were super friendly. We ended up ordering a bunch of stuff it was so amazing! We had to come back the next day and will now stop there every time we are in Omaha. The best vanilla macarons ever, the chocolate mousse is insanely chocolatey, the apricot cake is tart and creamy. Super high quality items at a decent price! Love this place!

This place was absolutely AMAZING!!! We met the owner and he was so nice and personable. We ended up buying 90% of the bakery items they sold. 😂 The pistachio cake was INCREDIBLE. So lightweight and airy, it almost melted in my mouth. Everything tasted authentic and not overly sweet. They also have some Mediterranean bakery items. What a wonderful find! This little shop is full of delicious French goodies, both sweet and savory. The owner was at the counter when I came in and she was so sweet and she helped me pick out some great desserts! Second, oh wow the treats here are amazing, all fresh fruit, without being overly sweet. Grand patisserie is just a wonderful experience overall. My husband and I went here for the first time to pick out some treats for our anniversary. The owner was so friendly, helpful and seemed to have strong knowledge and passion for what he does. After trying the tiramisu, chocolate macaron, lemon tart, baklava and almond pastry, I have to say that all other desserts have been absolutely ruined for us! These were by far the most delicious desserts that I've ever tasted - from the texture to the rich and lively flavors. Nothing was overly sweet or overwhelming - the flavors were all balanced perfectly. We are already looking forward to stopping there again and can't wait to try more! If you haven't tried this place yet, I guarantee that you are really missing out!!

What was I doing with my life before we came across Grad Patisserie? We are slowly (okay, not so slowly) working our way through the entire bakery case and everything has been fantastic. I don't want to choose favorites, it is like choosing a favorite child, but if you go, definitely have the baklava, petit four cookie, and a chocolate choquette.

This new bakery in west O is amazing. Stopped in while waiting for Chinese take-out next door and I'm glad I did. The pastries are delicious (macaroons are a can't miss) and the owner handed numerous samples to my son and I to try. He even threw in a free cookie for my wife. Super nice staff! First-time I've had an actual French macaroon, and the taste was delightful. The passion fruit macaroon hit me 3 seconds after biting into it. The chewy yet firm cookie gives way to a slightly chilled and creamy center that explodes in your mouth with flavor. The shortbread cookie with apricot was fresh and crumbled in your mouth when you bit into it, while the taste of apricot danced on your pallete. The raspberry tart was fresh and pear pastries was light and flavorful. I tried not to get too much because I want more reasons to go back!

Insanely delicious and wide variety of pastries available. The BEST macarons in Omaha. The vanilla macarons taste like the best vanilla ice cream you have ever had. Yummy fruit-flavored cakes, cookies, bread… and the owner is so nice. Just go.

I love this place! If you get fresh desserts, they are the best. Best Macarons ever and all the dessert are a nice sweetness, taste like they are made with fresh ingredients, and the person running the bakery is so nice! Bought a ton of items and they cut them up for me so I could have a sampler to bring to work for some birthdays. Everyone was so in love!
