Is it possible to love empanadas anymore than we do? It's an amazing meat pie w/ amazing deep flavors. Empanola makes many different flavors & everyone of them is delicious. We loved them while they were in Auction House, we love them at Freret, and we'll love them on Magazine. This time we got their Shrimp & Cheese, Spinach & Artichoke, Beef Argentina, Gumbo, Crawfish Etoufee, & Banana Fosters. Each came w/ some delicious sauces: Salsa Verde, Salsa Roja, and a sweet chocolate dip for the Banana Fosters PS: it's so cute that they stamp their empanadas w/ the fillings :) @PhidingtheFam

This place had the best empanadas I have ever had! They had so many options to choose from that they have one for everyone!! Staff was super friendly! We loved this place so much that we talked about it the entire rest of the trip and kept saying we need to go back for more empanadas! Such an authentic place in New Orleans!

Several different kinds of empanadas. I had the Yellow Curry, Gumbo, Breakfast, and Chicken Peruvian. The Gumbo was my favorite! My gf got the banana foster empanada which she loved. The Tres Leches was my favorite part, it was delicious.

This place was amazing. It was honestly the best food I’ve had in New Orleans so far and I’ve been here for about 4 days. I highly recommend getting the sauces and trying the specials. We tried some of the classics chicken, beef, and veggie but my daughter wanted to try the Asian dumpling empanada special and it was surprisingly it very tasty.

Fun, comfortable environment with indoor and outdoor seating. Every empanada we had was so delicious and flavorful that we decided to get some to-go to heat up at home. Very friendly and quick service!

Delicious empanadas with a Hugh variety of flavors. The staff was friendly. Overall, a great experience. They have more than 40 varsities of empanadas, so many choice for every meal. Lots of coffee options as well.

Friendly service, slightly expensive. It's a bit of a trek uptown from our neighborhood so I bought one each of all 12 available empanadas cold and baked them at home per their instructions. Our family of four enjoyed them all, but especially the crawfish, chicken Argentine, and mushroom. High quality, nice size, and good variety available.

Place is awesome, the location is beautiful, full of good spirited people and just a very relaxing environment. The lady worker cashier is super friendly very charismatic and inviting. Out of the Gumbo, Cheese Shrimp, and Crawfish Ettoufé definitely go with the Crawfish Ettoufé although the Gumbo was amazing as well. The food is all top notch cooked with love. The place is a must try. Good pricing as well. Diamond in the rough.

I hadn't been to Empanola before today, so I bought a few things to figure out what I liked best. The crawfish and chorizo empanadas were really good, and the alfajores that I bought on a whim were as well! Unfortunately, I don't think the banana/nutella sweet empanada I had bought was cooked all the way through, since there was raw dough on the inside. Still, overall good food, great vibes inside!

These empanadas travel well. Ordered via DoorDash and they were still perfectly warm when they arrived. Packaging was excellent and they came with delicious salsa and cilantro sauce. I love that each empanada is labeled. The Beef Argentina was my favorite!

I've visited Empanola inside of the Auction House and I adore them! So by all means if you're in the Warehouse District, swing by and enjoy! The food is consistently amazing. When I realized there was a location near Tulane University, I quickly went in to enjoy and this is where things went downhill. There was a young lady working and when I arrived she was outside on her cell. That didn't bother me, it was a gorgeous day and the place is small so I totally understood. However, she took her time getting to me and even then it seemed as though I bothered her. I was able to place my order and when I went back in to retrieve my food, I asked for a to go fork and she said, "Yeah we don't have any". After our awkward stare off, I had this great idea and asked if I could use the silverware instead to eat my salad. She was gracious and allowed me to use the fork only for me to realize that she failed to add dressing.🤦‍♀️

This is a review for Empanola's catering services. Wow!! We were so impressed. Jimena and her team showed up and served some delicious mini empanadas to our guests. They were such a crowd favorite for their taste AND the presentation was beautiful. I can't wait to book them again for another event.

My favorite place to eat by Tulane; affordable, decadent and delicious. All of the empanadas are perfect and embody the spirit of New Orleans by being fusion food all around. Beef Argentina, chicken Peruvian and shrimp and cheese are my go tos. Always takes 7 minutes and hey come fresh out of the oven. Cute art.

Great empanadas at pretty good prices. I really hope this local business succeeds so they can keep expanding more small venue empanada places around town. Would definitely recommend no matter what empanada or empanadas that you get to make sure you get a sampling of all of their dipping sauces, they are all really good and flavorful.

But there are classic Latin empanadas, those from New Orleans (smothered crawfish, Gumbo) and vegetarian/vegan! There are also some sweet little surprises! Really nice! Right price! (Original) J'ai bien aimé! Bien sûr, il faut aimer les empanadas car, à part une soupe et une salade, il n'y a que ça!
