I brought a cake from them before I got back on the highway. My normal go-to place was close. I also purchased a slice of cake. I got in on 12/31, and as today, 1/3 make cake is still moist and delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be back when I head back to New Orleans.

I had beignets from several spots around New Orleans, didn't care for any of them, consistently doughy and heavy, but then I met Antoine's famous cakes and they changed my mind, they were the most tasty, light, airy glazed not powdered goodness! The best beignets I had and I'm convinced they are the best in the New Orleans area, and the chantilly cake wasn't too bad either.

Solid kingcake options here. Can't go wrong with the classic, but any of the filled ones are great as well. They are heavy on the icing, but that's an easy fix. Haven't tried any of the regular bakery options as it takes be all year to diet back down in order to eat my weight in king cakes again the next year.

The beignet donuts are ridiculously awesome 😋 they have a large assortment of donuts, pastries, cakes,pies, etc... If you have a sweet tooth or if you are a lover of sweets, this is the place to visit. If you visit between the hrs of 6am to 1pm you will get your beignet donuts fresh & hot. They are closed on Sundays. Visit early & there won't be a long wait. ❤❤❤

Antoine's made a 50th Birthday Cake for my husband's surprise party. The party was a BB Kings in New Orleans and the theme was a combination of his initials "BB", musical in that he's a drummer, his favorite drink is Crown Royal, and that he loves to party! Antoine's helped me pull all my ideas into this Royal Birthday Cake fit for a King. As if the cake wasn't perfect enough, it was also delicious. Talk about having my cake and getting to eat it too!

This is a tradition at this point. One of the best bakeries for king cakes in the city but get there early. Due to COVID and the popularity of their king cakes there will be a line out the door. If you go don't just get a king cake. Had their apple fritter and a slice of almond cake. That was one of the best apple fritters I've had and the white almond cake was tip notch.

My Grandmother Laverne knew and loved Antoine (God rest her Soul). She worked with his at the Pickwick club. Every time I came in town she made me take her to Antoine’s to get a cake and to see if she would get a chance to see him. He was always very nice and I love the bakery as well. I use to go to the one off Paris Ave but today I took my mom to the one on the west bank and I was quite shock by the poor or customer service, unprofessionalism and attitude received by the female employee who tried to take our order. It was enough to make someone not want to come back. I think this is bad for business.

I'm originally from the 7th ward but currently live in Houston. My sister in law decided since my sister, mom and niece were coming to visit for the weekend to bring a large king cake with them. Originally I was mad because we don't eat stuff like this anymore. I gave up everything with high fructose corn syrup. However, I couldn't resist...OH MY GOODNESS!!! Once I took a piece I couldn't stop eating it and believe me, this was the case with everyone. The cake was HUGH and I thought there's no way we're going to eat all that cake without it going stale. The cake was so delicious it was gone in 3 days. It was soo moist and delicious even if you take the icing off. My family are all vegans but they all cheated that weekend. You guys did an A-mazing job on this cake! You all should consider opening a location in Houston. It would be a big hit out here. We don't have pastries as good as New Orleans here and we don't have such strong restrictions here. Just a thought.

Always has been a great bakery with delicious cakes. Their traditional king cake is my favorite of all the king cakes in the city! The glazed beignets were great; like a glazed donut but better with a nice flaky texture. There is a bit of a wait for the beignets as they are made fresh, but the wait is worth it. So, this was my first time going there amd the experience was amazing. The parking could be a lil better. I went in and told the young woman at the register that it was my first time, please don't judge me. She smiled and said try our famous glazed beignets. I ordered a dozen of them. I then waited in thr car for 10 mins. They called my number and someone brought the order to the car. When I opened the box of beignets, they were hot as freshly made. I tried one in the car before i departed. The best beignets I have ever had. I recommend this place to anyone. I will be coming back again.

Delicious! I wanted to eat everything there...however, I am very disappointed in their service. I pre ordered and prepaid for a birthday cake. The day of the party they called me and canceled my order, leaving me to find a cake last minute while trying to get ready for the party. They canceled because their truck never came with the cream cheese for the icing. I don't know why they couldn't just buy some cream cheese at the store and complete my order. They also refused to refund the credit card that I used to prepay on line, I had to make a special trip to the store to get my refund in cash, inconvenient for me again!

Antoine's does one thing very well; their king cake. Its the best king cake I've ever tasted. I tried them all but their cream cheese is the best. The price is very reasonable at $17 for a medium. The only reason why I have it three stars is because of the lack of plastic baby. Out of the half dozen king cakes I've enjoyed with my family in the past year, there's never a plastic baby. If you are okay with no baby, go for it!

Love Antoines hate the parking lot. Store has done alot of renovations and its looking really nice. Please fix the driveway. Also hire some help. One person out front is not enough especially selling those delicious donuts and beignets. Also please stick to preparing them to order. visiting from out of town, needed to get a king cake ( I mean, c'mon, New Orleans). Quick 10 min drive from the hotel, has king cakes year round. On a whim I also bought a slice of pineapple/almond cake. Service was very very good - sweet and patient lady behind the counter. Got back to the room and had the goodies - oh my gosh, great cake and king cake. Whenever I find something so good out of town its a mixed feeling event. I'm glad to have found such a good place, sad I don't live here to experience it regularly =(

One block off the WB Expressway sandwiched between McDonald's and Home Depot on Stumpf Blvd., Antoines is home to the King Cake and the much sought after Queen Cake. Get there, get something...you'll be glad you did!

I work on the westbank and EVERY YEAR during the Mardi Gras season my office buys, at least, 20 king cakes. They are the best. Better than Randazzo's, Gambino's and Haydel's combined! Outside of the MG season, they have these butter milk drops that simply melt in your mouth. I can not rave enough about this under rated underdog of sweet and savory confections.
