Pretty good cookies and ice cream. The ice cream is not the best but still very good. The cookies are huge, soft, and chew with a crispy crust. I really love how clean, well designed, and well-kept this place is. And the service is excellent. The lady that helped me was very kind and accommodating. The only real downside about this place was it is a little pricey. $15 for a cookie and a scoop of ice cream, but I suppose it’s worth it for good quality desserts in the middle of downtown Nashville. I guess high prices are to be expected in a high traffic tourist zone. Worth stopping by, if you have the money. 🍪😋

There are a few ice cream shops with-in walking distance of each other right in this area but the cookies here really make this shop stand out. They also carry some fantastic pies and this great pie slice dipped in chocolate and served on a stick! Of course the ice cream is great also but ice cream is pretty much ice cream so come for that but indulge in the baked irems.

Great place to fix a sweet tooth. I wish they had fountain drinks with ice. That was the only thing I missed. I like my drinks cold and on ice. My giant cookie was good. They also had key lime pie and ice cream.

The ice cream and the waffle cone completely untouchable I can't recall a place that has done a better job. The cookies are to die for. I stood outside and call myself just sampling buttttt yeah I ended eating the entire thing. People were literally just watching me eat my ice cream and cookie. My expression had to be worth a million words cause they started going inside and ordering cookies too. I watched them and seen their look of approval as they were also not able to move either. Just stand their and enjoy that tasty sweet snack.

For being right off Broadway, it wasn't super busy which was nice. The cookies were AMAZING. Frozen lemonade was good too! Cookies and drinks for 2 people, spend about $20. One of my new favorites for sweets in downtown Nashville!

This family run business is the perfect place to grab a sweet treat any time of day (but especially right before or after hitting the bars nearby!) The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY and the cookies and ice cream to die for. The cookies are huge and definitely shareable, but you won’t want to! We were craving dessert late at night so we stopped in and got a huge cookie ice cream dessert for 2 of us to share. Christopher was so nice and friendly. He really made our experience a great one. I consider myself an ice cream connoisseur who has traveled the world and tasting ice cream in every city that I have visited. This is the ABSOLUTE BEST ice cream vookie shop in America. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and more than willing to help sampling. There was 5 of us and everyone said this is fabulous, excellent tasting ice-cream and cookies. We enjoyed the seating upstairs and HIGHLY reccomend this over all others including Legendairies Milk shake ice cream shop. Be sure to visit in Nashville, TN. I have also been to the one in Key West previously and this was as good.All ice cream is home made on site.

Okay we walked by here a dozen times before but I think now they’re piping the smell of the cookies onto the street or something. Our only mistake was not SHARING one of these monsters instead my wife and I both ate our own entire cookie after dinner the other night. It was my sugar and carb count for a week but it was worth it. Like any good cookie should be they were soft and chewy. I hate crunchy cookies so these were spot on for me.

You can’t pass up this cookie and ice cream shop. Literally! The smell of fresh baked cookies is so enticing you will find yourself in the door. We ordered some healthy servings of ice cream along with one giant chocolate chip and pecan cookie to take home. We didn’t eat the cookie till the next day but it was still soft and tasty after leaving it in the paper bag overnight. Would definitely recommend

Buttery cookies, indulgent brownies and creamy ice cream. My mate had a m&m cookie which was absolutely fresh - breaking apart at the touch and very tasty. I had myself a brownie with one ‘massive’ scoop of ice cream - the portion sizes are HUGE here. I wish I had of discovered this place a little earlier so I had a chance to have some key lime pie and try out some alternative cookie flavours. Special mention to the staff, very friendly!

Although we've been to Nashville's music district many times and love it each time we're there, an equally amazing treat this last trip was eating Mattheessen's bake goods! The massive chocolate brownie was to die for, and the coconut macaroon was the most delicious coconut macaroon I've ever eaten! As sure as we'll be returning to Nashville, I guarantee you we will be eating Mattheessen's bakery treasures each and every time we visit, and I just may do an online order and have those amazing coconut macaroon treats shipped to me! We are huge supporters of family-owned businesses, so Mattheessen's not only fits the bill in this department, but their amazing bakery items and ice cream are worth promoting, because they are superb, and you will NOT be disappointed!

Just the looks of all their products will make you enter this small but fantastic place. We ordered a one scoop ice cream. A mouth full and an unbelievable fine taste. It reminds me of the Italian ice creams we ate in the past. Their cookies look great too.

That milkshake was crazy good! I had pralines and cream mixed with dulche de Leche. I also had the snickerdoodle cookie. Also really good. The outer rim was really crunchy but the middle was super soft. Will visit again. Definitely my new favorite milkshake spot!

Accidentally stumbled upon this hidden dessert gem while we were walking around Nashville. So glad we did though, the 1/2 lb. cookies are to die for, so flavorful and the right amount of chewiness in combination with firmness, yum! They also have cookies in a variety of flavors alongside their ice cream and fudge varieties. Clean place with tasty treats accounts for a great detour when you’re around!

First, I have to start with the service. The guys behind the counter were amazing. They were attentive and enjoyed what they were doing. We didn't feel rushed and all felt like individuals making our selections. The ice cream was amazing! What else can I say? I can’t believe I didn’t take pic!! This place has so many delicious sweet treats. The staff is so friendly and nice. We tried two cookies: the peanut butter with chocolate and peanut butter fudge on top and snickerdoodle. Both were amazing. If you’re a fan of PB and chocolate you just try that cookie. Ice cream is also delicious, we tried the key lime and banana. We would definitely return here again. Worth a stop!

Lady with dreads wiped snot off her nose then proceeded to slice the banana for our banana splits. We left disgusted and like a light from heaven saw Mattheesen's. Omg game changer- great clean environment, super friendly staff, delicious desserts. We got ice cream, cookies, malt and allllll to die for. They saved our view on Nashville ice cream!!

This place is right on broadway for easy access and smells amazing. They have all kinds of treats here but I got some birthday cake icecream and some lemonade. Both were fantastic and I might even say the lemonade was better than the icecream, but that's not slight to the icecream, just high praise for the lemonade. Would definitely recommend stopping in here to get a nice dessert!

the smell permeating from the front door is enough to get your mouth watering and your stomach aching to get a bite. the staff are friendly, informative, and just plain great to talk too. follow that with what must be the biggest and best cookie EVER. all homemade and fresh. the samples of ice cream were refreshing and delicious. if you are visiting or a resident you will not regret stopping in and getting your cookie fix.

It’s crazy. A few months ago I was sitting in the airport in Miami coming back from vacation with my girlfriend when I started having a conversation with this really nice lady. She was telling me that she was on her way to Nashville to open up another one of her cookie/ice cream stores. Fast forward to today and my girlfriend and I took our niece and nephew to the Christmas parade and decided to get some hot chocolate and a cookie. The cookie was AMAZING!!, and the staff were really nice,helpful,and professional. We are definitely going to make it a frequent stop every-time we are downtown. 5 stars for sure!.

What an amazing store I found walking down the street Best cookie I ever had in my life. The young man behind counter Hunter was making the cookie dough from scratch how amazing is that. Stumbled upon this place after they just opened. Half pound of a peanut butter cookie topped with peanut butter icing and some kind of heavenly fudge icing. It was just shy of $10 but was worth every penny.

Nom nom nom.... ice cream is devine, 1/2lb cookies the size of an overweight mans face. Fun Nashville photo op available up stairs. Luckily it is conveniently located just off Broadway on 2nd St so you can either drink to forget that you are a weeks calories in one setting or walk it off. Yum.
