Visited Nashville and loved this place! Offers a variety of breakfast items, pastries, and good coffee. Staff was very kind and treated everyone with respect. Unfortunately the kitchen made a mistake with my sandwich but they offered a free pastry! So I chose the carrot cake. It was honestly the best carrot cake I’ve ever had- moist bread and not too sweet.

As delightful as reviews promised it would be. Nestled beside a church and other towering buildings is the sweet D’Andrews Bakery, offering tasty baked goods, coffee and sandwiches. The staff was pleasant (I noticed them treating several homeless folks with kindness and respect) and the atmosphere is fresh and inviting. I loved the plants around the shop. I had the Turkey bacon sandwich. My husband had the chicken avocado sandwich (but minus the bread so it was served in a bowl). We also tried the blueberry cornbread muffin, peanut butter cookie and pain a chocolate. All on point — beautiful and delicious. Keep up the good work, y’all!

Popular breakfast spot with amazing pastries. You can tell them to warm up any of the pastries/dessert! The croissant (warmed up) was delicious. Vanilla chai latte (hot) was ok. Veggie sandwich was solid but a bit pricy, not that filling for $10.75. They have wifi (you have to ask for the pw) and it connected but it wasn’t really working for me so not sure if it was just me or not. They do have a bathroom. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Visiting Nashville and stop by D’Andrews Bakery & Cafe that was conveniently located around the corner from our hotel. If you’re looking for a great breakfast place this is the place. We got the veggie breakfast sandwich and blueberry crumb cake. All homemade and eggs cooked fresh. Delicious and way better than the hotel food and reasonably priced.

Wow the pastry is amazing and as authentic as a cafe in Paris. I lived in Europe 7 years and thoroughly enjoyed the food and cafés. The salad was fresh , crisp and excellent ingredients! Once again Nashville is a wonderful gastronomic choice and this cafe is not to be missed.

Really nice bakery with salty and sweet options. Perfect for a quick stop if you are craving coffee and something sweet. Staff is nice, we had coffee with a blueberry dessert with lime and the pain au chocolat that had a ton of chocolate inside which we loved!

Quick, efficient service and a wide variety of menu options. Way shorter line than a number of the nearby breakfast establishments With superior food quality and service, this makes it a no-brainer as a go-to spot for either a quick dine-in or takeaway breakfast. Their pastry case is quite incredible, and even has a free gluten free offerings. I ultimately went for the vegetarian breakfast sandwich on the homemade focaccia and loved it!

I had fritter which is basically made with chocolate croissant dough with vanilla latte. I liked the pastry, it was fresh but the coffee is OK. Be sure to get there early, they tend to sell out before noon!

Great little find, so much so, we ate there for breakfast 2 days of our 3 day trip to Nashville! The desserts looked like something out of a magazine! The coffee was delicious and we had the pecan cinnamon roll one day and filled sugar raised donut the other...can't decide, both yummy! Hubby highly recommended the short rib breakfast sandwich, hot, fresh and filling! I had yogurt and homemade granola (literally just came out of the oven)...try it for quick breakfast, you won't be disappointed! Oh and staff, super friendly!!

This place is awesome. Went here while visiting Nashville on business a few months ago and had their donuts, which were fantastic. Came again more recently and had the Pistachio Croissant which was unbelievably good. Will definitely stop by here next time I'm in town -- highly recommended!

As the brunch places nearby always had a long wait, we ended up coming here 3 out of the 4 days we spent in Nashville. Friendly service, plenty of seating, nice bright space, tasty breakfast sandwiches, and AMAZING pastries. The cakes look gorgeous too, proper works of art, it's a shame we didn't get to try those. The D'A Fritter (pastry with chocolate) was a highlight, I will miss those when we leave!

Omg! This place! The pastries! Everything we ordered was perfect except the egg sandwich. It was a tiny bit on the greasy side but still good. Their chai latte was one of my favorites. We also got an iced mocha and it was really good too. The people working their were all very nice and the service was pretty fast. We will be back.

These cats bring the Flavor! Literally one of the best things I have ever put in my mouth! They have WOWED us in the past with the decadent pop up five course dinners And now have taken our taste buds to a level of freaking fantasticly delicious that I simply didn't think was possible! Mr. Andrews did our wedding cake personally and let me tall you, one fat kid to another it was sooooooo worth it! He took care of us like we were family, really rich family! The pastry/ bakery items here are ridiculously good, and can’t adequately be explained in a google review. But, with that being said, I keep going back for the coffee. I really appreciate some place that makes a good cup of black coffee. They don’t mask everything with syrups and sugars, great coffee!

Delicious little bakery with yummy unique pastries. Everything looked very fresh and just made. You could see the chefs working behind the glass. :) I got a scrumptious BEC (bacon egg cheese) sandwich....so good gooey and savory... a delightfully light and fresh blueberry corn muffin, and a double baked pistachio cherry croissant (I think that is what is was called) but OMG it was good. I got it all to go to "share" with my hubby who was sleeping in back at the condo.

Very new cafe where the owner comes in to bake fresh every day at 3am. the pastries are tasty, less tooth achingly sweet compared to others. the yuzu eclair was my jam, tart and fresh with some nice chocolate on top. short walk from the library as well.

Delish! The breakfast sandwiches are served on wonderfully prepared fresh bread and the pastries are the perfect way to start your day. The fritter was our favorite that we tried, next time we will have to save room for the donut! A super friendly staff tops it all off as a cant miss breakfast spot in downtown.

This bakery is amazing. The chef, David Andrews, worked at some great establishments (like Gotham Bar and Grill in New York) before returning home to Nashville to launch his bakery. The pastries are beautiful and, more importantly, delicious. It’s hard to pick, but my favorites are the chocolate chip cookies - the classic and the double chocolate - plus the “oreo.” This establishment is not to be missed!

This bakery is the go to location for me on Sundays - or any day that ends in Y. Elevated bakery items from the double baked croissant or the savory bread pudding with Tennessee prosciutto to the made to order breakfast sandwiches. Sit on the open air patio or in the bright dining room and have the perfect start to the day. Friendly and fast service and look at this pecan roll!

When visiting Nashville, we originally wanted to go to Puckett's Grocery and Restaurant, but there was a long line out of the door at 11 AM on Sunday. Instead, we walked a block or two back to D'Andrews for breakfast. I enjoyed the veggie breakfast sandwich and my fiance had the bacon breakfast sandwich. I also had delicious iced coffee with almond milk, but I saw they also had a Nitro coffee on draft. The staff was very friendly! Super delicious and we will be recommending it to anyone who visits Nashville!

Can’t recommend this place enough!!! We had a fantastic experience on a Saturday morning around 9. It wasn’t too busy so we received our order really fast. We all got breakfast sandwiches (the veggie one was LOADED with guacamole) and they were all delicious. We also split some pecan rolls which were truly divine. The coffee was delicious and the service was phenomenal. Miss Dixie the dog was so adorable and the cherry on top of our experience. Everything was so good that we took some cookies to-go for later in the day. Best kept secret in Nashville and just a short walk from the downtown area.

Such a cute cafe! We stopped in to grab breakfast one morning and were pleasantly surprised with the different pastry options. Ultimately went with a couple of vanilla lattes, a chocolate croissant, and the ham & mushroom breakfast bun. Both pastries were flaky, buttery perfection. Delightful café and bakery nestled in the heart of Nashville. I walked there from the library for coffee and a treat, on one of my visits to Tennessee. I had the nitro cold brew and a donut, I would not hesitate to order both of those again. Five stars, well worth the visit!

This is a great location. Very creative with beautiful decorating skills. I called on monday night asking for a design for 36 cupcakes. D'andrew was very patient and kind. I have never eaten at this bakery but saw the great reviews. I thought it would be great for a co-workers going away party. The attached photo shows the skill they have. I must admit the flavor of the cupcakes was not appreciated by my guest. The actual cake was great. The icing on top tasted like a stick of butter and lard to my guest. I'm not sure if my batch wasn't mixed well but they did not taste well. I know things happen and when i spoke with d'andrew he advised they use real butter. So it's not a traditional butter cream. I would advise tasting these before using for an event as i did. Everyones taste is different. Unfortunately for me it did not meet mine.

Cute little cafe in downtown Nashville. A little overpriced, but overall good quality. Jamon de Paris was spectacular. Bacon, egg, and cheese was surprisingly filling and good quality but coated in a layer of grease and left a little bit of a weird after taste.

Trendy, but nothing special. Had a Sausage and Egg Biscuit $10, Turkey Sandwich & 2 Lattes, $40 after tip... serve yourself. Coffee was so so, food took a super long time, almost done with coffee before it came up - Staff was nice enough, the cookies looked good - doubt I would go back. Did not really like the ambience... but I am sure it is considered a cool place to go by some.

I've been here several times and the food here is always fantastic. I had the bacon egg and cheese sandwich this morning and it was perfect. The bun used held together but was also light and airy. Other highlights for me are the pop tarts and peanut butter cookies. But honestly you can't make a bad decision here. To top it off the staff is friendly and really know what they are doing. One of my favorite places in Nashville.

We were in Nashville this past weekend to celebrate my 50th birthday. My husband had pre-ordered a cake from D'Andrews Bakery and had it delivered to the restaurant where we were celebrating. D'Andrews came through without a glitch!! The cake was beautiful with a custom hummingbird on it and it was equally delicious!! All arrangements were made over the phone from Canada and although we were a little nervous how it would all turn out, D'Andrews did not disappoint and we are very grateful for the beautiful cake that was delivered to top off our special night!! We stumbled in here for brunch after being sick of eating the usual fried food that Nashville only seems to offer at the regular Broadway haunts and were blown away! All fresh baked pastries, an amazing soup, some sandwiches made from scratch with delicious fresh veggies, and a damn good coffee! Come here if you want healthy, home-cooked food and your tired of eating the same ol' fried foods. You will not be disappointed!

Can’t believe I’ve just found this place. The food is amazing. I have come across so many mediocre breakfast sandwiches, and I was so delighted to find the perfect that is their bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. We also tried some pastries which were equally fresh and amazing. They make and/or bake everything from scratch and you can definitely tell.

So delicious! I had their veggie sandwich (which is on a focaccia bun, YUM), a chocolate chunk cookie (Valrhona chocolate, YUM), and an iced mocha (also yum). I have a nutella dessert waiting for me that I know will be scrumptious as well. They make everything from scratch in house, from every part of the pastries (the dough, the fillings, etc.) down to the coffee syrups.

Wow!!! I’ve been to Paris three times and I only love croissants that are even close to Parisian ones and I would have to say the Jambon de Paris is great, the croissants are wonderful(finally a good croissant made right) and I highly highly highly recommend the short rib breakfast sandwich. This place deserves every 5 star possible. We had come downtown to try a different place that ended up being closed and found D Andrews. Lucky for us! We picked the brisket and grilled pimento sandwiches and the pecan and corn muffin baked goods with the intent of saving the baked goods. They didn’t stand a chance. Everything is so flavorful and balanced and good we couldn’t stop. I could just go here then leave TN and feel like it was worth the trip from FL.

I was in town for the weekend with my husband and went here because I was craving pastry. We got some cookies and other yummy looking pastries. Not sure what we got because they all looked delicious. I told my husband to buy what looked good to bring on the plane. All I can say those pastries were the best!! I can't wait to go back to stop here!!

Ok so those who follow my reviews know I like my bakeries. This place..... do not enter if you are trying to lose weight or trying to cut back on sweets cause that aint happening. Got a coffee, chocolate croissant and a s'mores croissant... no you read it right and yes it looked great. They were delicious. I try to avoid returning to a place when traveling so I can experience other places but I think I will break that rule. There were soo many things I want to try. I guess thats what 2nd breakfasts are for. Anyway, if you want a good bakery, do NOT miss this place. You will be sorry.

The staff was super friendly, helping us decide what to choose from the pastry and dessert menu. They passed out free warm chocolate chunk cookies since it was downtown employee appreciation week for Nashville even though we were tourists. There was a large window where you could watch the girl in the back making the pastry dough. The latte was good, not particularly special, but satisfying. Worth the extra walk, great place to visit.

Great selection and friendly staff. Open early for locally made, fresh baked goodies. Some outdoor seating available, unfortunately the local homeless seem to make this a recurring/frequent stop which can be disruptive if you are trying to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee.

This is the real deal. Breakfast and coffee is top of the list for me. I will be in town next week and already planning breakfast here both mornings. Menu is well thought out. D’Andrews is one of my favorite places in Nashville and I have been telling any and everyone they must go and eat all the things. The bacon egg + cheese is the most delicious breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had and I would eat one every single day for the rest of my life if I could. Their iced mocha is also fantastic, definitely better than any other mocha I’ve had in the downtown area. The employees are super friendly and the space is cute and bright. 10/5 stars.

The best cafe/bakery downtown. All the standards are great (love the flaky croissants), but I especially adore the falafel. Its deliciousness is unexpected and unusual (pickled cauliflower, carrot humus!). The falafel makes clear that in addition to pastry skills, the folks in the kitchen have some serious flavor chops.

I work just up the road and decided to stop in this week for breakfast and dessert. The orange white chocolate mousse almond cake was to die for and the braised short rib sandwich was amazing! The meat just melts in your mouth with flavor. Everything looked really clean (not sure about bathrooms as I did not stop for potty breaks). The food is fantastic and the owner is very nice. There's just one and one problem that prevents me from coming to this place. Pets are allowed inside. Per Davidson County ordinance BL2010-761 - 1. No pet dog shall be present in the interior of any restaurant or in any area where food is prepared; Definition of "pet dog." For purposes of this section, "pet dog" means a dog other than a service or guide dog assisting a person with a disability or a dog actually engaged in training to become a service or guide dog. Come on guys, common sense! I don't care how much you love your animals, do not bring them where food is prepared and served. They're free to be in outside dining areas.

Finally had the time to visit D'Andrews Bakery and Cafe...if you have not yet... GO! Amazing bakery with tasteful, creative, yummy and not over the top. We enjoyed creative fun sandwiches and amazing pastries. I"m from the NY area and have high standards for pastries, D'Andrews hits the mark! They know who they are and keeps things simple but delicious. There was a great variety of pastries but do not try to too much and lose quality. Their coffee is amazing too. Met the owner (pastry chef) and he was kind and creates a welcoming environment. We will definitely be back...despite the need to work out more if I do

My first trip to Nashville and we made the wise choice to visit D'Andrews Bakery and cafe. We had breakfast sandwiches and coffee to start, both of the sandwiches were excellent, as was the coffee. Then we just had to get some of the delectable looking pastries. The baker that created these master pieces must have studied in France. You will absolutely love the croissants, and the chocolate croissants, and the E'clairs, and the tarts... We loved them so much we went back. I was so excited I lost my parking ticket, and it cost me $40 for the parking, but it was still worth that amazing brownie and chocolate croissant.

I had researched places in Nashville to order a cake and Macaroons for my sister in law’s birthday prior to our trip and decided on D’Andrews because of the great reviews. I assure you I was not disappointed. I went there shortly after arriving in Nashville to order the birthday cake and was immediately impressed with the friendliness and customer service. The owner spoke to me personally and helped me decide on the cake, even offering a sample of one he was making which I ended up ordering it was SO good. D’Andrews turned out to be the best place in Nashville we found to eat breakfast and lunch, as well as grab a coffee and snack during our vacation. The coffee, fresh food and desserts were all so good, it quickly and easily became our regular place to go. Even the sandwich rolls are baked fresh on site. I could never imagine having dessert after breakfast until I walked into D’Andrews! Pizza was the best I’ve ever eaten anywhere, and I’ve travelled a lot of places. The birthday cake and Macaroons were so amazing we considered leaving our clothing and taking the cake as we flew home early the next morning,but reluctantly ended up just taking the macaroons with us only because the cake was fragile🤣I can’t say enough good about the food and customer service here. I believe D’Andrews will grow into one of the most popular places to visit in Nashville, and with good reason.

I can't say enough amazing things about D'Andrews Bakery! Their delicious treats are out of this world, and their customer service is too! I had an issue with an order that was supposed to be delivered through a delivery app, and the driver never delivered my order and I was stuck with the bill. Although the problem was with the delivery company and not D'Andrews Bakery, they went above and beyond to personally deliver a new order to my home to fix a problem they didn't even create. I can't sing their praises enough! I would give them 1000000 stars if I could instead of just 5! :) Customer service like this is so rare to find these days, and I can't get over how awesome they are.
