Reviews of Bagelshop

Stopped in this morning on the way to do a show at Music City Center in Nashville. It's a very neat little bagel shop. It has hand rolled bagels that are awesome. I haven't had a good bagel since I left Chicago until now. I had a fantastic onion bagel that was crunchy and chewy like it should be. A rich and thick cream cheese. If you want a good Jewish deli style bagel this is the place for you. I loved it!

As I sit here writing this review, I’m not even hungry and my mouth started to water as I thought of my bagel from this place. We were visiting Nashville and staying a few blocks away. I decided to get up early and run over…best decision I made in a while. The sauces were very flavorful, bagel was that classic chewy and fresh. Eggs and cheese tasted fresh and were cooked perfectly. Staff was very friendly! I love the restaurant mid century vibe since it’s attached to a cool hotel. I might have to drive back down to Nashville for this place.

Everything was great! I got the Dylan and my boyfriend got the Benny with sausage and avocado. The bagels themselves were fresh and delicious. It’s cute inside, too. I would definitely go back!

The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere is pretty good.
Had a little mixup on what I was ordering though. I never never in my life have ordered a bagel from anywhere, New York included, where the bagel isn’t toasted. So to my surprise I guess that’s how they normally sell them ? That’s my one word of caution to anyone who doesn’t know that’s a thing. To that point My order was just not what I expected at first.
When I returned back the manager was kind of enough to remake the bagels and toast them this time around for my satisfaction—and let me tell you they were pretty dang good. Onion bagel with their feta garlic spread, bacon, lettuce and tomato. It was a nice send off from our weekend get away to Nashville !
Worth coming back I’ll just make sure to mention I’d like it toasted :-)

Welcoming and clean atmosphere with smiling faces from staff. Plenty of sweet and savory options for all pallets. We got a lox, Bryan, and plain with berry cream cheese. Portions were overly fair and the LOX bagel had enough cream cheese to be from New England area! Bagels had a perfect crust and soft inside. Definitely making this a regular stop when I’m town

Just wanted to say that this is our favorite bagel shop in the world. Not only do they have divine bagels, but they also catered our post-wedding brunch and the guests were so thrilled. While ordering for the big party, the owner took time to help us with the order and did not try to oversell us. Food arrived right in time for our guests. Sandwiches were cut at the perfect size. So easy and fun to work with, amazing sandwiches and bagels, and great coffee.

Friendly staff, wonderful food. The bagels have great structure and are tender and flavorful. The egg and cheese sandwich has a fun and tangy aioli

Ridiculously good, I’ve lived in Nashville 2 years downtown and have always lived a 5 minute walk from this place, shame on me just for finding it now. Tastes just the same as the bagels I have eaten in NYC and Tampa, I highly recommend!

Some of the best bagels I’ve had. Salt bagel with the berry cream cheese was amazing. My husband Hand the BLT - also so good
Getting Real With Jamie
Friendly staff, got my order quick. But the everything bagels are mostly sesame seeds. Ick. No onion, garlic or salt, so they lack that scrumptious everything flavor. I’ll have to try other flavors because the bagel itself was done well. Just not a fan of all those sesame seeds.

My first time in Nashville and was looking for a breakfast.....I found this place and with a Gluten allergy the staff were absolutely amazing and took time to make me a breakfast which was out of this world amazing....the flavor was like never before....I can not thank the staff on being so understanding...helpful...and most of all went out of their way to be so sweet and personalble ......my next trip to Nashville I will most definitely will go back for another great breakfast!!!!! Thank you again to the staff for being so amazing...

They have the best bagels in Nashville. Finally a shop that gets the crunch just right. This Jewish gal is so happy and will be back time and time again. Thank you!
Nefthy Bobadilla
Tasty and filling bagel to get the day started. Latte was a bit to hot to consume right off the initial sip but over good easy breakfast spot if you're in the downtown area.
Alex Knodel
I have been following their story on Instagram - and unsuccessfully tried to visit one of their pop up shop locations. Now that they have a permanent store front, I’m coming all the time! Had an amazing breakfast sandwich and iced coffee that was reminiscent of new York bagels!! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!!
Delaney Lindstrom
10/10! I ordered a big group order a few months ago and everyone was satisfied. They also have bagels that I've never seen before like cacio e pepe. I can't wait to go back!
Jonathan Espiritu
As a New York transplant these are pretty decent bagels.
Helen Teeples
Convenient. But hit or miss on food and drinks. Quick service but crazy busy. Small coffee bagel shop so nothing too crazy. Valentine menu scramble is really good. But never consistent.
Nikki Leo
Fantastic food and service! I ordered a Benny with sausage and a latte. Everything was delicious and service was super quick.
If you're looking for an amazing and quick breakfast, come here!

Bagels are unreal and the staff is cool people. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, breakfast or lunch it’s all incredible.

Best bagels in town. I lived in New York for a few years, and bagels were the only thing I missed when I moved back home. Glad to have this shop in town. I can’t believe I actually go downtown Nashville so often now

Slow slow slow..... it took over 40 minutes to order and receive our food/drinks. Way too long for a bagel place.
Although, when the bagels and coffee did come, they were great!
Ash Kuhl
I love bagels. So much. And this place is fantastic. The whole staff was so fun and friendly. The new brick and mortar is so spacious and airy with tons of seating options; has a really wonderful energy inside. Had the new fall cold brew drink (excellent) and a salt bagel with dill schmear and it was so good. I will be going back.
Heather Hudgins
Amazing bagels! I love bagels, and I am always trying new places looking for the perfect bagel. Bagelshop hands down has the best bagels I have ever had! The staff was great and the atmosphere was so welcoming. I will definitely be back!

If you're looking for a proper bagel, look no further, you've found it. Perfect size, perfect chew and plenty of everything seasoning on the bagels. Coffee bar is a big winner also. Kudos to the crew, you guys nailed it!

Best bagel in Nashville. However I BEG OF YOU ALL, to start assuming ppl prefer their bagel toasted rather than not toasted. If I had to guess, majority of people are gonna want a soft, hot bagel (right?) I know it is essentially one more task for y’all to toast the bagel, but the amount of times I’ve gotten a bagel sandwich there, it is a chore for my jaws to eat them. Or just at least ask us if we want it toasted or not. I think that’s reasonable for a bagel shop

Good bagels and cream cheese but doesn’t compare to nyc bagels. I still recommend going !
Tyler Spradling
Great experience. The bagels were good, with ample cream cheese. The garlic and feta cream cheese was incredible. Rainbow bagels were a hit with my kids. I was impressed with the cheerful demeanor and service provided by the staff on a Saturday morning. The throwback decor and furniture made for a relaxing atmosphere. We'll be back.

Tasty bagels, and it's cool to see a quick, fresh bagel place in the heart of downtown. I also enjoyed some of their unique twists on aiolis and the "cheese of the day" bagel. I have to agree with a lot of folks on here, though — they should really ask their customers if they want the bagel toasted when ordering (at the very least). I've been to a lot of legit, from-scratch bagel places over the years, including pretty much everywhere in Nashville, and they always ask if you'd like your bagel toasted (some places even default to toasting the bagel and ask if you'd like it *not* toasted). I also noticed some inconsistencies in what they labeled the bagel in the case versus what the bagel actually was. Also, just kind of a personal peeve, but calling a bagel sandwich a "Benny" would imply it has some characteristics of an Eggs Benedict (poached egg, hollandaise sauce, Canadian bacon). However, it's basically just a bagel with scrambled egg patty, melted American cheese, and a special aioli — none of which is really native to a traditional Eggs Benedict. It was very tasty, but it's a breakfast sandwich at that point. Oh, and I ordered my food to dine in but it was given to me to go. None of this is significant enough to stop me from going back (again, the food was tasty) but it's all stuff that could easily be fixed and elevate this from a four star experience to a five star one! If I go back and this stuff is fixed, I'd easily come back and give five stars.

Great quality bagels, pretty bad service. Staff does not ask if you want your bagels toasted and by default do not do it, so you have to be sure to remember to ask for this. Also, they will often provide wrong info. When I was in, I asked what the cheese of the day was (the label just says "Cheese of the day") to which they replied Asiago, which it did not look like, so I asked further, only to find out it was Parmesan Pepper. My boyfriend ordered the other bagel of the day that was labeled "French Toast", only to discover it was Cinnamon Raisin when biting into it.

Good grief this place is awesome. The Samoa latte is to die for. The indoor seating area is bright, quiet, and a great place to socialize or pitch the laptop and get work done.
Wish I had this place in my hometown!

The closest thing to a New York bagel I've found in the south. The crew at bagel shop is always friendly and really receptive to the crazy food combos I come up with. The bagels are crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. They always give you a ton of schmear and the bacon egg and cheese bagel is delicious.
Edward Cook
Better than any bagel I've ever had! Was in town visiting a friend and made him take me here more than once. Max, Kayla and team were amazingly welcoming and professional. Ready for my next trip!
Sam Palmer
Easily the best bagel I’ve had in town. I’ve followed their journey through home deliveries, to local pop-ups, and now their storefront. The shop is very inviting with tons of natural light, the bagels are delicious, and the staff is super kind. Definitely try the New Yorker on an Everything bagel — it’s a hit!
Kara Covey
We heard great things about this shop and decided to make the drive from Franklin to try it out. It was delicious and well worth the drive! I had the Benny with avocado and bacon on a cheese bagel. We will definitely be back to try out all the other sandwiches!
Kate Stranks
Despite being in the midst of a pandemic, this shop has some of the best bagels in the south! Handmade in shop — there’s nothing like it!

A Downtown Nashville MUST. It's easy to get lost in the tourist grabs downtown but Bagelshop brings an authentic vibe. The shop is run by the owners who are there baking bagels and shaking hands every day! I'm no bagel expert, but if its good enough to win Nashville Scene's best bagel then I'll take it. 1000% worth the wait. Perfect crust, soft inside and they are not stingy with that cream cheese, yall. Sundays are where it's at because parking downtown is free and the latte's are on point. Cute sitting area for all the Instagramable shots. I'm dying to try their bagel grilled cheese that I somehow missed the first 10 times I visited. In a time where so many local favorites have sadly had to shut their doors, I am thankful Bagelshop has been thriving!!!

Definitely the best bagel shop we've been to here in Nashville! Bagels were big and soft on the inside and toasted very nicely on the outside. Staff was amazingly friendly and fast! This is definitely our bagel place while we're here in Nashville!
Justin Bliss
This place is on point. Perfect size, crunch, and hot/soft centers. Inviting atmosphere.

First time today for my gf and I . We were greeted nicely, asked if we needed any help. We both got a bagel sandwich. I got the Dylan and she got the egg and cheese. Delicious! We shared a cinnamon roll which was great too. Will be back for sure! I wanna try the scones next! 🤤😋 …
Adam Pallin
Just fantastic! The bagels are always great, tasty and unique. Love all the flavors and options. I’m a huge fan of the Boss. Be sure to try the best bagels in Nashville!
Reaghan Rickards
A true bagel shop never asks if they want their bagel toasted! I dont know where ya'll are getting your bagels from, but it's not from a traditional bagelshop! 10/10 you guys rock!
Rachel Westerfield
Fresh hot bagels that have the perfect texture! And their schmears... top-notch. If you want to eat and be satisfied, definitely go here. The food is amazing and the staff is so nice.
Katie Hughes
5/5 for the vibes
3/5 for the food
Bagel was burnt on one side and overall just lacked flavor.
Davis Pearce
This place is wonderful. The bagel sandwich I had was the perfect amount of crunchy, chewy and savory. Their service could not have been better on a busy morning, as well. Highly recommend!

This spot has been on my list for quite some time and finally took the time over lunch to go and grab a bagel sandwich. I really regret not going sooner. The sandwich was excellent and it looked so good, I didn't make the time to take a picture.

Best bagels in town!! Made from scratch pastries too and great coffee! My Only complaint is they only have one size of coffee-which is small.

Solid breakfast/brunch spot close to a lot of the hotels and wasn't much of a wait even during peak brunch hours.
