I used to go to Kitts before new ownership, but only for sundaes and shakes. The food was meh and the customer service was AWFUL, and slow. But trust me, if you had a bad experience in the past, give it another try. The new owners are great, really did a 180. The sundaes are still great, and the food is much much fresher now. And dont expect the long waits from the past. So happy its back!!

I walked into kitts today, and I met the manager who was super friendly and made sure my order was right. The staff was also super sweet I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries and I also tried their hot fudge ice cream which honestly was one of the best hot fudge ice cream I’ve ever had. My friend also tried the strawberry banana shake and the strawberry slushy both super fantastic. It hit the sweet spot for sure. The store was super clean! I’m definitely going to become a regular. So happy with the new management.

I am so happy Kitt’s reopened, my kids & I love this place. New management of course. The ladies up front were super nice & very helpful. We ordered off the new menu & everything was fresh and delicious… then my younger two really wanted ice cream. Would highly recommend. Would definitely be a favorite.

Drove by today. Never been here at kitts. Decided to stop by check it out. Order a burger and fries, and a banana spilt sundae! I got to say all the food was fresh and amazing. Very nice friendly staff. I was impressed. Thank you. Will visit again

Haven't been here since last year, had a taste for some good ice cream at night. Found out under NEW MANAGEMENT (manager was very nice, we talked) same prices, but the ice cream bowls are no longer there. So it seems that if ur paying more for something less. Manager and I talked bout the cups size and the bowls everyone has been talking to him about and where he could find them But overall Great food and late night as well

I’m not sure what all the horrible reviews are about. Can’t expect much customer service from a bunch of youngsters behind the counter. I tried a turtle sundae from most of the “famous” frozen custard spots in MKE and Kitt’s was by far the best one. The caramel and chocolate sauces they use… amazing. This review is from a few months ago though so not sure how it is with new management. Do ignore the random hair extension vending machine inside though…🤣

Well 1st off I got great views about this place. I was told they had big juicy burgers. So I ordered me a big juicy Burger... only I did not get a big juicy Burger. When I got home, I had a small Baby Patty on a big bun. Everything else was great and I was very disappointed with that. That was the main reason for going of course. So yes, I was very disappointed with that. So for that reason alone I give them 3 stars

Horrible! The place needs a thorough cleaning and a complete staff do over the guy at the register was getting everyone's order wrong because he was playing too much. I asked for a chocolate strawberry shake and they tried to give me a chocolate banana shake. I was waiting for over an hour for a shake and 2 single scoop cones. Very disappointed 😞 😔 😕 😪

I love the food! Be prepared to share your burger and fries, or save half for dinner. Custard is delicious, ALWAYS! The problem is the service, and it's not even that you wait forever for you're food... because it's so good; the unfriendly staff taking the orders and giving you the food is where the only problem lies. Their custard us amazing if you have time to wait. I was disappointed with my service. A gentleman behind us in line revived his order before we received ours. We waited close to 35 minutes to recive a malt and a sundae. Their portions are huge and well worth the money. There were 3 workers behind the counter, one was doing many things and the other tell were distracted on the phone and chatting with eachother. If the service was better I would rate them 5 stars. The environment was fun and lots of memorabilia making the experience like a classic drive in ice cream shop.

It's very different its decent ice cream it's not great it's good if you need something fast. But they need to clean the place a little better which is dirty, so not the cleanest. Let me know how you guys feel like how it taste.

Ive loved their food and malts since I was very little. They are always nice. Be warned it is a but of a wait on the food but its always worth it. My favorite are thier butterscotch malts with extra malt, its my dads favorite too

Kitts has great custard ice cream. The service is just ok. Last visit wasn't to good. I go there sometimes twice a week and never had a issue. Would recommend, but check your order before leaving there. They don't listen or read well something is wrong with that. ! ?

I love the milkshakes and sundaes! However they are rude & sometimes distracted by convos with coworkers. I stopped eating there because it's unsanitary. I've witnessed cross contamination & other unsanitary practices.

Most of the staff is clueless. They have the fudge and caramel turned up so hot it’s burnt and melts the ice cream before the customer even gets it. Luckily the 3 stars came from two of the older ladies who cared enough to listen and check it out. They had to dump all of the fudge and caramel because of the horrible burnt taste.

I love kitt's The ice cream is good but today i was turned off by the fact that are in the food area with no mask and even though they have on gloves it makes no difference if your going out of the food area and touching things like the cash register and then going back to the food right after cashier touches it who is not wearing gloves and touching money 😣

The custard is good, not the best I've had. It's near to home for me, so if I want something fast, I go there mainly for custard. I always get the turtle sundae and what I find disappointing is that for what I pay for that same desert there, I go to other custard stands and get more for my buck. They only have one size to choose from.

Chicken was DELICIOUS!!! BEST in Milwaukee! Custard was average, it was not that creamy. The pecans were soft as if stale. I like the pecans with a little bite to them. Kittsss is forever a classic spot built on the heart of Milwaukee. It’s open from 11-12a. ( be sure to get there by 11:50p if you want a gamble at still getting icecream before close. I love the turtle sundae with pecans and no fudge. I like the buzzer that they factored in for the wait

Wow is this custard good. It's right up there with Kopps and I love Kopps. Kitt's custard is creamier and has a totally different taste. I recommend all custard, because ice cream is disgusting what are you doing? Don't even get me started on soft serve. This place is amazing. Go here. Enough said.

Classic Wisconsin custard place with a full menu of Americana food and the thickest malt shake I've ever had (it's custard!). Lots of locals here. Not the fastest service but the custard is legit and the other food has tons of flavor. One of the oldest eateries in the area.
