Cecilia made the cake for my wedding day, and the entire process was very stress-free and enjoyable! We loved the tasting - we picked up samples and did a taste test at home, mixing and matching flavors. The cake she made was exactly what we were hoping for, and it tasted amazing! Cece did an amazing job on our wedding cake!! Ours was a small two-tiered cutting cake. We ordered a lavender cake layered with chocolate ganache and raspberry filling covered in a decadent butter cream frosting and edible rose gold foil. Her frosting is the BEST I've ever had!! It's extremely light and melts in your mouth. We got SO many compliments! We loved it so much we ate half of our saved bottom round the days following our wedding, and froze the other half for our one year anniversary. Great quality, flawless design, delicious cake! Highly recommend The Cake Lady!

An amazing 2-tiered cake that tasted incredible, so easy to work with, so accommodating. Best in the business. When I arrived, she realized I wasn't 100% satisfied with what she presented and she made it right immediately. Excellent customer service in conjunction with a beautiful, delicious, one-of-a-kind cake. The lavender flavor + raspberry preserves holy cow knocked my socks off. We would recommend 10/10 in the future for more events.

My husband and I had the BEST experience with Cece. Our wedding was rescheduled multiple times due to COVID-19 and she was kind and accommodating throughout the whole process. She even made us a small cake for our backyard reception that we held on our supposed to be wedding day. The cake for our large ceremony a year later was absolutely STUNNING and it tasted even better than it looked. We had the pleasure of savoring a piece of our little cake that we had frozen for our one year anniversary and it tasted as if she had baked it that morning. We cannot recommend her enough and would highly suggest her for any and all cake related events!

It was such a fun morning trying all of the cake and filling and frosting options! Everything was SO delicious! I never look forward to the cake at weddings, but I told so many people this would be a piece of cake that they could not turn down! She really created the unique cake that I envisioned. I gave her my swatched and inspiration pieces, and she really got everything perfect!!!! Cece is just so creative and all of our wedding guests raved about the look and the taste of our cake!!! You guys! Stop what you are doing and order from the cake lady!!!!! Planning a wedding during COVID has been a crazy time for everyone. Cece was absolutely amazing, from tasting to set up... she was easy to communicate with and so quick to respond. I really appreciated her set up of our desserts and cake day of. The cake lady is incredibly affordable and my husband and I literally did not get a chance to try her cookies or cupcakes the day of our wedding because our guests loved them so much! 100% would recommend for any needs such as a wedding, birthday, work party etc.

If you're looking for the best wedding cakes out there WITH the best service possible, you'll want to choose Cece at the Cake Lady! From start to finish, Cece was 100% attentive and detail oriented. We worked together 1 on 1 to design a cake that matched the details of my wedding dress and the finished product was a million times better than I had imagined! In addition to our cake, Cece made two other cakes for us. One for a friend who skipped his college graduation for our wedding and another for my sister-in-law who's birthday was the same day as our wedding. The nursing school-themed cake and birthday cake were the best surprises we could have given to our loved ones on that day - not only did they look fantastic, but everyone loved the flavors Cece helped us to pick for them! What really stood out about Cece was that she helped to find a way for our cakes to travel 8 hours in the car AND a ferry boat ride to Mackinac Island AND THEN a horse-drawn carriage to our venue. On top of that, she coordinated with the wedding planners at our venue to ensure the cakes were set up exactly how she knew they would look best and for us to surprise our friends with their special cakes during the reception. If ya want the best, call Cece!!

Cece exceeded all of my expectations! I ordered a cake through email communication and photo sharing since I’m not from Milwaukee but needed to get a birthday cake there. The cake was beautifully crafted, lush, and luscious. The perfectly layered carrot cake within the stunning shell was rich and had the perfect level of spice and warmth. I highly recommend having Cece, The Cake Lady, craft a cake for your special events. She is a delight to work with and a truly talented baker.

You know how you have dreams of trying flavor combinations that you've never even heard of before and being blown away? And how you fantasize about calling a place to get ideas from someone who: 1) knows a lot more than you do about the thing you're looking for 2) actually is willing to talk to you 3) loves their job and has fun while you're both figuring out what would work for you? It's hard to believe, but there actually is a person like this! It's the Cake Lady! I called, left a message, and she got back to me the same day. We talked about I cake of hers I had tried at a nearby shop and how I'd like something similar for my husband's birthday. She immediately had great suggestions. And the cake was fabulous! Seriously, it was the best cake we'd ever had! When she says she uses the highest quality ingredients, she isn't kidding! And if you're looking for a new flavor combo to blow your mind, we highly recommend the lavender cake with lemon/raspberry filling. You're welcome in advance!

My wife got a lavander cake with raspberry filling for my birthday and it was super delicious!! Thank you!!!!!! Best birthday cake I've had. Loved the french buttercream frosting I know it's more work to make but totally worth it. Nothing but good things to say. When I went to write this I saw the last one star review. Don't believe that. Even the pictures she posted looked amazing. Don't know what's wrong with some people.

Karen is absolutely talented-not only do her cakes look amazing, but they taste unlike anything you've ever had before. Hands down the best cake I've ever had! Her lavender cake with lemon custard and homemade rasberry filling is to DIE for. She was also SO easy to work with and made the cake part of planning a wedding absolutely seamless. She's so chill and personable-someone you could hang out with outside of a business relationship. I dont know what more you could want out of a pastry chef!

Karen was one of the best best best experiences of our wedding..I was so lucky to find Karen over 5 years for our wedding and one of the main reasons I was so STRESS FREE for our cake with our wedding and so easy to work with. We had been to Simmas, Brookfield Cakes, Shaker Baker and she was the final and the $25 was such an awesome value compared to the "free" tastings that shouldn't even be called that. I have used her numerous times since for our most special occasions...and that is because her designs are special and worth every penny and the taste of the cakes, cupcakes are to die for. We ordered more than we needed by 75 people for our wedding because I wanted left-overs for the next days functions...and we literally had 10 pieces left...and our family, friends said they tried every flavor of cake...because it was so good. I brought my mother in law to the tasting and my groom wasn't able to make it but without me even asking Karen put together a box for Greg to taste and it was amazing how much she gave us...again so worth it. She is an amazing artist but also one of the easiest vendors, business owners I have had the pleasure of working with over all these years and will continue to work with. Love you Cake Lady... We've worked with The Cake Lady twice now. 3 years ago, Karen and her team made our gorgeous and delicious wedding cake (people still comment on how exceptionally pretty and tasty it was!) Recently Karen made us a beautiful gender reveal cake that went above and beyond our expectations. It was a busy weekend for the shop (I believe they had 6 or more weddings going on...) but they were able to squeeze us in to assure that we were satisfied and that we were able to work with them again. Getting in touch with the shop is a breeze. Unlike most businesses, Karen is quick to respond by email and made communication all around very easy. SERIOUSLY can't recommend them enough! And am so looking forward to working with them in the future!

Ms. Karen Smith is absolutely magical! I had the pleasure of experiencing both her outstanding service and utterly delicious cake when I ordered a 12-inch round almond cake filled vanilla bean pastry cream and raspberry buttercream, frosted with vanilla buttercream earlier this month. The cake was so tender and moist and the silky-smooth icing not too overly sweet. It was simply perfect. I'll be ordering again and again. :)

Fantastic cakes. Got our wedding cake as well as birthday and anniversary cakes. Delicious flavours and the cakes are really well baked. The chocolate cake remained moist which can be difficult to achieve.
