Reviews of Republic Of Pie
Larissa M
I hadn’t been here in about five years and was feeling nostalgic so I came in with the family for a slice of key lime pie. Each slice of pie is about $6.00. It was enough to fill my sweet tooth. I also tried a chocolate macaroon which was delicious. In the past I’ve gotten there coffee which is also amazing. Nice little place to study if need be as there is a college close by. If you check in on Yelp, you get a free scoop of ice cream which goes perfectly with any slice of pie. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside. There is no parking lot but plenty of street parking close by.

I love pie! And this was good pie! Sometimes a lot of pie places is too decadent but they did a good job balancing the flavors so I was able to eat more. They also made a pretty good iced latte when I was also in need of some energy while getting full off pie.

I used to visit the Republic of Pie, often, ten years ago when I lived in the Valley and it was great and I was thankful that it was still here when I visited recently for vacation. The coffee and location and food and service are solid. I highly recommend if you're looking for pie, coffee, food, and conversation.

Never had this place before but I wanted to surprise my wife with a savory pie. I got her a chicken pot pie and a key lime for dessert with a bread pudding for us to share another night. That's when I saw a coffee from Honduras. The cashier/barista was helpful and was aware enough to ask me what kind of machine I would be using so he knew what level to grind the beans. If you love coffee, and the flavors and nuances try coffee from Honduras. It's a treat.
I ended up spending way more money than I intended but that's just good on them for having interesting and great products for sale.
The line was long but went reasonably quick and we loved all the food.

I was here 7 or 8 years ago and remember enjoying it, so gave it another go on this visit. Had Quiche (spinach/mushroom) and Moroccan tea - it was a chilly, rainy day and these were prime comfort food warmups. Both the tea and the pie were excellent. We sat inside with the friendly, funky vibes and had a most enjoyable and relaxing time.

The guy who took my order was super nice. The atmosphere in here is great.
Personally I love how they have the Marrion berry pie as an option here. The first time I had Marrion berry pie was in Oregon and I've struggled to find a spot in California that sells it. I'm so happy they have it here! Tastes amazing and if you want, just add Ice cream to level it up :)

Very yummy pies and good size. Would recommend the coffee mousse ones.
Also nice location with a good ambiance, nice play to sit down and chill or study.
Staff was nice as well.

I really like this place but 9AM is too late to open in my opinion. A good coffee place with a good menu.
Amit Ajwani
I love this place and all the people that work here. I've been here maybe 50 times in the last 6 months. My only critique is that the coffee is quite inconsistent. Cortados typically have different amounts of milk / strength / cup sizes. Instructions I give like "leave room" generally aren't followed and I just ignore because everyone's so nice. I think it's just a systems and training issue. This place gets everything right except the most basic stuff, so I have no doubt it can be 5/5 with a little work.

Score for the pies 5. Food grade 2.
Everything we ordered was tasteless, greasy. The omelet was very greasy all in oil, it's even unhealthy. The Quesadilla with the chicken is a lot of cheese and fried dough. Oil, oil , oil. The pies are delicious.

Never have had any complaints huge fan of their chai latte! BUT i must say, this establishment needs to get their pickup order system in order & have 3 people working the front during peak hours.
I called in my order today, waited by the pick up sign.. expecting to be able to tap my card and leave but instead after 5 minutes an employee approached me and i told her i called in an order. She informed me that i must join the back of the regular line where people are making orders. That essentially defeats the purpose of calling in the order.. yes it’s ready already but i’m now joining the line behind tons of people who walked in whilst I was waiting at the pick up sign and my hot latte is ice cold.

Great place for a relaxed bite to eat. Egg sandwich on bagel was one of the best I've had. My gf had the Quiche and was impressed. Friendly staff and lots of seating. Reasonably fast service.
Excellent pies of course.
Rebecca Yuan
When I came, the espresso machine was down. Damn, so I didn’t get the coffee. My favourite is hot pie. The earl grey cream is good too. A bit expensive but i Guess it is north Hollywood
Mason Eaglin
Fantastic space, with delicious coffee and pot pies
george mehallick
Great place with great atmosphere. Food selections along with coffee selections are fantastic! Will definitely be going here again.

I came here with a group of friends for a later night snack and tea and was impressed at the size of the place. It had plenty of seating and had an interesting and fun vibe about it. There were many interesting pie flavors as well as delicious tea and coffee. I thought $5-$6 for a slice of pie seemed expensive, but when they came out I realized they were almost a quarter of a pie size. I'd recommend a visit! There is no parking lot so you need to find street parking and walk over.
Thomas Latvys
This is my favorite local coffee shop. Always a chill place to work or hang out. They have free wifi if you're wondering, though you need to get a password code from the barista to sign on. They have live music some nights, and plenty of comfortable seating (lots of couches). Great selection of coffee and tea, and as the name implies, a HUGE selection of pie (both sweet and savory). Their pecan pie is my personal favorite, and they also have the best pumpkin pie that I've ever had.
YASMIRA MUNGUIA
I just had to have pie, so what better place ??
Parking is a living nightmare! !so good luck.
I got pecan pie, keylime pie and lemon bar......
Pecan pie had lots, and lot's of pecans (one could almost say too much pecans, I thought I'd NEVER say that) if they put a little less, than we would get more of that gooey goodness! ! ***
Keylime pie was not the best but it was good ***
Believe it or not the show stopper was the lemon bar ***** 5 stars!

Everyone is so friendly here! I love the ambiance and how quick the turn around is for the food. A great place to meet up with friends and grab a bite to eat.
Carol Wafer Miller
I had the Earl grey cream pie, the Marrionberry pie, a birthday cake macaroon, and the London fog (Earl grey latte with almond milk). Checking in on Facebook you get a free scoop of ice cream... It's a generous scoop perfect on top a berry pie. I had two major problems. 1. The Earl grey cream pie was more like Earl grey rice pudding with a cream type thing for the top half. I had never had rice pudding in a pie and as an ex pastry chef, it didn't work. 2. The use the same pie dough that they use for the savory pies. So even if you're enjoying your pie there will be many points where the crust is very savory and doesn't mix well. Honestly, it ruined the one pie that I did like, the berry pie.
The birthday cake macaroon was amazing.
There's not really anywhere to sit so it's not good for groups.
Rebecca Lower
This is a great throw back to coffee shops before Starbucks became so popular. They have a tree going indoors, which I loved. The pie was excellent. The only negative I have is that parking is near impossible. We had to circle for almost 30 min and still had to park about 6 blocks away.
Geoffrey Holtsclaw
Really cozy spot in Burbank for those looking for a non-Starbucks coffee shop to get some work done. They also have a quaint outdoor area with cool water mists. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely will have to come back here when working remotely again!
Edit: I came back and it's still great! Don't expect to stream videos or anything on their wifi (which you need to ask for a voucher for), but it's great for light internet work.
Kristin Lower
Cool laid back atmosphere, coffee shop. Pie is out of this world good. Parking in area is something to be desired, find a spot and walk, even if it is a few + blocks away. The pie is worth it!
Agnes Josephat Obi
They have a pretty awesome selection of pies here and they do taste really delicious too. And their prices are very reasonable too.
Stephen
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Live music both evenings I was in. Great pie (which is a relief otherwise they'd be in trouble).

RECOMMENDED!👍🏾
The only pie I eat is Lemon Meringue. I haven’t had it in years since I lived in Atlanta and I wanted to find a bakery in L.A. that had some. I literally called every single bakery in L.A. and every place said they don’t carry Lemon Meringue :\ . I finally found a place called House Of Pies. They sold lemon meringue by the slice but when I tried it, it’s was absolutely disgusting and flavorless!!!!!!!
But i didn’t let that stop me… I kept calling around and Republic Of Pies told me they sold Lemon Meringue as a whole for $43. I was skeptical to buy it without trying a single slice, but i placed my order anyway. I picked it up the next day, tried it with my fiancé, and i must say it was actually really good!👍🏾
Thank You guys. Will be ordering more in the future

The location is funky / fun and divided in a way that works for any sort of need in a space. Breakfast is delicious and really well plated. The options for coffee and tea drinks are awesome; no matter the type of drink you're into.
Brian Ellis
You could not imagine a better place to grab a bite before or after a movie. If you're intimidated by the idea of a meal of sweets, the selection of quiches and savory pies is divine. I also love the trend in LA of having nitro cold brew. The strong flavor is the perfect pair for flakey crusts.
nova mclaren
The brunch is ok. The pie is the best pie I've ever had, and I've had a lot of good pie. The strawberry rhubarb beats Pie n Burger hands down. Perfectly tart filling with a light, crumbly crust that melts in your mouth. I ate all of the crust, and usually don't do that. The chocolate banana cream - perfectly balanced scratch pudding that doesn't overpower the bananas. Cookies n cream- not too sweet cream cheese filling with a cookie crust. It reminded me of a cheesecake - not as dense, but just as rich. If you are a fan of pie, this is a must-go. However, go when it cools down, because it gets really warm in the summer.
B Mitchell
Ordered 2 matcha lattes and a slice of key lime pie to share. Great quality and service as always. We sat on their outside patio in the back of the cafe, masks required unless eating or drinking, everyone complied, and there were no issues.
We usually go here later in the day like 7ish when it's packed, but to our surprise at 2-3pm it was pretty empty which made getting a table super easy.
We love you Republic of Pie and we're glad you're still serving the Valley!
Dyana Sanizio (Twinkles)
I love this cafe. There is a wide selection of coffee drinks you can choose fromm . You can also customize how you would like your coffee . The pies are delicious. I chosed the chocolate almond pie with iced horchata latte. I can't wait to return next time in LA NoHo.
Blessing Eke
The pies here are freaking amazing and the service is one of a kind. They have a great menu selection and their price are reasonable too.
Ramsin Yacoob
The pie is perfect, moist fruit on the inside, flaky great tasting crust on the outside. Pro tip: move the ice cream from it's bowl to your plate next to the pie.
Atmosphere is very nice and they generally have live music at night.
Gavin Edwards
Pies were great here. Nice coffeehouse vibe. I ordered three pies. Two for dine in and one to go. They brought all three pies wrapped in plastic to go containers and in a bag. I asked them to put two of the pies in tins and heat them up because I was dining in. They put the two pies in the tins and brought them back to the table still cold. I then brought them both back to the kitchen and asked them to be heated up. We enjoyed our pies and left. The pies were great but the servers should pay a little bit more attention to what the customers order.
Zoey Koffin
It was my first time coming here and it was so cute. The coffee was really good, I got a regular black coffee but it had a nice flavor and it was strong.
There was a station where there were forks, sugars, creamers and to-go boxes which I thought was really considerate. They even had non-dairy milks out for people to use, which was a plus! Usually those cost extra.
The vibe itself is a bit quirky and eccentric, but it adds to the charm. There's patio seating toward the back end. Inside there's a little stage area where there was live music playing when I went. I ordered the pie that had almond and coffee, I don't remember the name but it was delicious. Definitely will be going again.
Jazz Shademan
Love this place, great food and pies! Although I do miss the loungey area (couch) in the back.
Kat Sky
Chocolate chip gluten-free muffins are delicious! Get one heated up for ya!!!
JP
Chicken pot pie is bland.
Good but not great.
Turkey pot pie was ok.
Nothing to rave about.
Lovely atmosphere, clean, cool place.

Just moved to town, and immediately fell in love with this spot. Super friendly staff, great drinks, and some fantastic quiche.
vanessa godoy
Great ambiance. Great Pie and love the live music.
Zakai Islander
Came here for the first time and their pies are delicious. I recommend trying them out when ever you have a chance.
Daniel O'Keefe
This is one of the better tea places I've been to though I'm from out of town. The pie was delicious as expected, though the prices were fairly high. Spent 25 on two teas and a pie. The music and atmosphere made up for the higher prices food. If you want good vibes and an eclectic crowd you should stop by.
Iiae Hess
Amazing pies! I had the espresso almond and my friend had the chai. They both tasted AMAZING. The feel for the place was really great, lots of places to sit and hang out. Definitely worth the stop
Zack Mineo
One of the best mochas I've ever had. I will definitely be visiting again when I'm back in LA
Tina K
Love this place. Delicious pie and other baked goods. Their tea is excellent. Always a cool vibe and great place to just hang out and spend time with others ♡

I'm not a big desserts person but the espresso pie was pretty darn good. I would definitely come back here to sample their other pies and brunch items. Til then 4 stars. I have to also compare this pie place with "pie hole." And rate which I like better.
Amod Joshi
Best coffee i had in USA so far (p.s. I am from Melbourne and we love our coffee).... The food is good... But the service is ok.
Nelle Williams
Excellent service and I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. The pies and macarons are delicious, and I recommend the horchata latte! 😋 …
Andrew Marceau
Chocolate banana cream pie was very good. No wait and friendly staff. Live music was playing but wasn't too loud or annoying. Small patio area was playing Mom Jeans, so my girlfriend was happy.
Dan Egan
Turkey and chili pot pie is absolutely delicious. Great ambiance. Good place for a quiet read or some low-key creative work. Tea game could be improved, but a great spot all in all!
Silvia Irahola
It's hard to find seating, because this place is wonderful. Friendly staff, great menu, and laid back ambience with high vault ceilings. The chili pot pie is delicious. But I mostly go for the chai oatmeal (with brown sugar and mixed nuts), and a Gibraltar/Cortado when I have a free morning to read my book and relax in this little gem of NoHo.
Lauren A
Great pie selections. a pretty large coffee house and a wonderful indy vibe for those who are sick of big coffee chains
Jeff Torres
I have been coming here for years and after eating 4 of their pies in the last 2 days, I felt compelled to write a review expressing my gratitude for this amazing coffee and pie shop. Their food is great too! One of my favorite key like pies ever - without the ridiculous food coloring. This place has great space to sit and write or read a book indoors or outdoors. Just tasted the marionberry pie for the first time and, wowww. Republic of pie never ceases to amaze me. Come for the coffee, stay for the pie.
Phillip Kelly
I love this place so much. And was just thinking, I need to get out of the house and work for a couple hours but my laptop is low battery and I remember they covered up all their outlets. I would buy food a drink and usually a piece of pie if I was going to be there a few hours. Now. I won't be going there today. Sucks.
Melany Flores
Love this place wish the wifi was unlimited or even 3 hours ☕ is delious with the coconut cream pie 😋 …
Roberto Mojica
Nice tasty variety of pies. I like the ambience. The art and couches make the restaurant a cozy place.
Jonathan Hsu
Rustic open space cafe with coffee, breakfast, pies and pasties. Large selection of foods and pies. I enjoyed my chicken pot pie and rop hash
Cecele Marie
Great free entertainment with Fish Chiesa at guitar. Delicious blended mocha. We had their quiche and cookies and cream pie. My quiche had a little too salt and bacon on it but my son's quiche was amazing. Fast service. Cookies and cream pie was very delicious. Food arrived fast! Service was personable and refreshing!
They have 110 AC outlets to charge phones and laptops. Lots of tables. They do have you show your proof of c19 vaccination. Clean bathrooms! Parked on Lankershim at no cost as meters stop at 6 pm.
Definitely will be back.
G T-S
Decent place to get pies and coffee/tea. Sometimes they have live mellow music. Table and couch seats and indoor lights.
Paige Sibley
Delicious coffee, incredible staff and a perfect atmosphere to get work done!
krishna chaitanya
Love the ambience and food! The pies are served right out of the oven and they are amazing !
JeniferbX Gil
Absolutely wonderful cafeteria. My Spanish friend told me it felt as the most European place she has ever encountered since she moved to LA. I believe that that’s an exorbitant exaggeration but I don’t intend to diminish the quality of the place which is superb. Besides, I have never been to Europe so what do I know.
Noe Noe
Bombalicious, the chicken pot pie, the chocolate banana cream pie, the iced mocha w oat milk, the atmosphere, and of course, Mario, he is the BEst💜 …
Zach Xanders
It took me a while to secure a spot in LA that had a similar Chicken Pot Pie to my mother's. Cool study spot with live music.
Rachel Ann Pierce
Great atmosphere and great pies, quiches, and coffees. A good place to sit for a while and work in the morning/early afternoon, to go with some friends for lunch or dinner, and to see some live music in the evening.
Patsy Leos
I had the expresso almond pie it was so light and really good ,my husband had the banana chocolate pudding bread and it was moist and so delicious!!! With my order I had a hot cafe latte with caramel and he drank a banana ice latte. They also had a live singer he had a beautiful voice very nice while having our coffee and dessert. A little hard to find parking .

If you are looking for a place to remind you of the 90's and where you can get work done this place it great! If you are looking for great piemeh. Smallish pieces for the price, and not as tasty as you'd desire. I WILL say I came at night, and bakeries are known to be there best in the day. So, I will try again and give an update.
Chris Doyle
In a word: inconsistent. Great pie and quiche, great vibe, decent chicken pesto sandwich. Bad turkey sausage, $8 dirty soy chai, varying pastry availability, and you might get a vanilla latte or you might get a mug of hot milk. Strict 2h wifi policy. I want to fully embrace this place but until they step up it's unfortunately only going to fill a niche for me.
Karol Gowman
Wifi access is limited to 2 hours and you receive diferents password to connect
Eileen Ibanez
A wonderful NoHo staple. The staff are amazingly kind and super friendly. The food is straight up to die for. Every menu item I try I wind up making my go to meal for weeks. Not to mention the place is a rustic beauty; even when you’re just stopping in for coffee you can’t help and sit for a bit to soak in the warmth.
Shaunda N
Food was ok, service was pretty good. Kind of a "self-serve" feel after you order. It was good though. I had the vegan hash and my friend had the regular breakfast hash. Neither of us were impressed, I was just grateful for vegan options.
Aubrey Frame
Great selection of pies and coffee is also wonderful!
Nichole Rosa
I’m not a “pie person”, but decided to go for it anyways. Ordered a slice of cherry pie and it was delicious!
Ezekiel Aguilar
There’s nothing
Curt Kimmel
This is one of my grandson's favorite places for breakfast and no wonder, they all know him. Great food and exceptional pies.
Ivana Darson
Great coffee, great entertainment. I love this place. It is cool but not fancy, so I can actually enjoy it :)
CoreChick
Went there with some friends. The cashier was sweet and polite (my receipt says Vince? She was a sweetheart). They were kinda busy, which struck me as strange at 11AM on a Thursday, but we got our pot pies pretty quickly. The pies and macaroons were amazing! The seating area was pretty cool, wasn't expecting it to be as big as it was. The atmosphere was relaxed too. Overall a good experience, definitely coming back!
Carson Nicely
Great atmosphere, tall 20ft ceilings and comfy chairs. All combined with great treats and good coffee.
Abby Hernandez
Orderd their espresso almond chocolate pie for my girlfriend's birthday. We went to pick it up and the employees were very nice and upbeat. The pie was delicious! This place if a little far but would definitely order from here again.
Robert Spier
Solid omlette. Delicious pie. Does more need to be said?
Sarah Hersack
Yummy savory and sweet pies (and other stuff) and coffees, mellow ambience, nice counter-people, AND live music on a Sunday night. You could spend an hour or two here. Greenwich Village vibe.
Christie Wright
Been here a few times but now live walking distance. Also been looking for a good pour over coffee. Really like their single origin Ethiopian one! Went at 9:30am on a Saturday and it wasn't busy at all.
Jamie Lee Lerch
Popped in here after a meeting in North Hollywood to grab a coffee and catch up on some work. Lots of seating, very comfy, and an array of pie to choose from should you have a bit of a sweet tooth!
amie maquin
Bought a whole cheese cake for a birthday. The did give the berry sauce, the cheesecake its self was ok a bland flavor with little to no cream cheese and little to no vanilla. Deja vu cupcakes definitely makes a better cheesecake. Actual pies from here are delicious
BLUE
Super cute. Warm and great pies. 😄 …
Kane Diep
Food: These pies are so good. Warmed up Apple pie with whip cream, Cookie & Cream pie, banana cream pie with ice cream or whip cream... all so good. All very worth it. I typically don't even like pie - but this place hits the spot. Cold brew coffee if you're looking to wake up - warning: it's strong.
Atmosphere: So beautifully decorated and branded... it feels like you're in a hip barn/ green house/ work oasis. It can get lively, especially at night (there are live bands sometimes). It can get packed, so seating might be limited (even though it's one of the bigger coffee shops) it's a busy place. Parking might be a tad more difficult, but worth the try if you haven't been. It's good for above casual business meetings, it's friendly, inviting, did I mention hip? It's possible to get work done as long as you don't mind the chatter.
Prices: Decent.
Service: Fast and friendly. They also have free flavored water which is nice while you wait for your pie.
Brian
I like pie. It was exciting to find this place and I had high hopes. Largely those were fulfilled. First off, get some bad news out of the way. Parking for this area and ROP is challenging at best. Do not expect to find parking near the restaurant - at least in the evening. I normally had to park 3 to 4 blocks away. Not the fault of the restaurant, just be warned. Inside is an eclectic, somewhat hipster vibe. But it was welcoming. I rarely stuck around (take out) but I liked it in there. Live music was common and that's always gladly received for me. We need more live music in life. Service was always friendly and quick. As for the pies...I thought the savory pies were delicious. The chicken pot pie was a staple for me and I always found it tasty. I tried 3 different fruit pies during my temporary stay nearby ROP. Regrettably, these were less successful for me. Apple was the best of the ones I tried. I'm not sure what it was exactly, I just found them a tad underwhelming. Still, not bad in any way. I've just had better. The chicken pies though...yum. It's a worthy and recommended place if you like pie and enjoy a cozy, informal, hipster (but not pretentious) vibe.

Great just Great """" staff is always polite and friendly, a great place for just a coffee or they have breakfast dinning as well
Already Dead
This place is AMAZING. Everything about this place is 6/5 stars... THE STAFF IS SO NICE AND THE FOOD IS AMAZING. I took a date here and she accidentally spilled her coffee and they gave her a whole new one and cleaned it up for her.. such amazing customer service given that it was not their fault she spilled it.
They could use a little more seating but i suppose it's tough with Covid. They have an outdoor area which is great and the food is very affordable for what you get, it almost seems to be all hand made.. and it's very reasonable.. its very easy to only spend 10$ on a meal and drink here and get a lot of great food... I was very satisfied. They also have printers if you need to do any printing while here!
Seriously, give this place a try if you haven't... I never go out of my way to write reviews unless it's an awesome experience and it was the experience... All around one of my favorite places to eat in NoHo.
Thanks guys! Keep up the great work!
Will Heltsley
We tried 6 pie flavors for our wedding planning—two we really liked included strawberry rhubarb and marionberry. The blueberry peach was ok but a bit too sweet and the peaches were crunchy/under-ripe. We were underwhelmed by the key lime, coconut cream, and chocolate banana cream. They weren’t bad but just lacked flavor and were mostly dominated by sweetness. All 6 would have been fine if they were less expensive, but at $6 a slice, I expected a little more from the last four!
Ben Rutter
Great food and courteous, friendly staff. The chicken pot pie is excellent as are all of the sweet pies. Service is quick and they have nitro cold brewed coffee which is great. Whenever I'm in NoHo I will stop for a bite and a coffee.
Andy W
Amazing pie, or maybe I'm just disillusioned with the so-so Pie Hole pies. Strawberry rhubarb is my favorite, and maybe the Thanksgiving pie they have now. All the coffees and other dishes have been good as well, solid all around. They have new outdoor seating in front as well as the back. Almost as good as pre-pandemic relaxing, just missing the comfy couch vibe.
Rachel Lippstock
Went there with some friends last weekend The girl behind the registere was sweet and polite. She was such a sweetheart). They were kinda busy, which struck me as strange at 12PM on a Wednesday, but we got our pot pies pretty quickly. The pies and macaroons were amazing especially the caramel fillings my favorite! The seating area was pretty cool man those couches are pretty comfortable I was resisting dosing off every five minutes, wasn't expecting it to be as big as it was. Next time I will in more friends. The atmosphere was relaxed as well. Overall a good experience, definitely coming back for there berry pie again!
Tina Wilson
I love the chill coffeehouse vibe I get from here. The live music in the background is very relaxing. Parking is hard to find, but there is a valet right next to it if you don't mind the $8 service charge.
For someone who loves pie, I was not disappointed.
The cookies and cream pie melts in your mouth and has such a soft texture you just wanna keep eating it.
The food was very well prepared. The mac n cheese wasn't too cheesy, which I prefer because it doesn't leave you feeling bloated. The California chicken wrap was delicious! I was very satisfied with that.
Overall, I liked the place and wouldn't mind going back.
Mitchell T
Amazing deserts. Had a perfect slice of pie while artists talked storyboards around us.
Marissa Perez
Yummy pies. Excellent breakfast, very cool and ample interior design with terrace. Personnel appeared under a lot of stress and that's defy the entire purpose of a happy place. Relax, guys, people won't die for waiting a little bit.
jon bloom
I've only tried one piece of pie (espresso almond cream) and it was pretty darn tasty. Friendly and fast staff and had Looney Tunes playing! The only reason it's 4 star instead of 5 is that I've only tasted that 1 pie. Looking forward to trying more
Amna Shaikh
Got the banana chocolate cream pie. I liked that it was too sweet. Didn’t taste very chocolatey and the banana pieces were huge (would’ve preferred them sliced throughout the entire pie for a consistent taste every bite). The atmosphere is great and staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s a great place to hang. If you check in with yelp, you can get a free scoop of ice cream. Not sure why google doesn’t offer these sorts of perks.

Food: great variety of pies including unique flavors. Note the price of the pie could be cheaper as it is not that impressive.
Environment: the place is adorable. In the evenings they often have live music. Great place to study.
Fun chill place to visit. But parking is street so can often be challenging.

The food is very delicious and it has a mature millennial vibe while also bringing communal tones. It a great place to chill, be productive, make friends, all while you listen to local artists live! I never had that fast food feeling or that pretentious/ entitled person feel that you'd get from an upscale restaurant when coming here. The vibe is unique. It speaks more like, "When you're here, you're with friends. We'll take care of you." It's very relaxed, so you're able to relax, work on your designs while eating an apple pie or turkey pot pie.

UPDATE
Review remains mostly unchanged. Fewer outlets, many are boxed up or removed, and the long haulers are fazing out. Staff still wonderfull, vibe still good, chairs and tables still shakey. Still a nice coffee shop but if you are looking for a place to do brunch, lunch and dinner as an escape from home, look elsewhere. They removed most of the plugs, weird move for a place known as a local work from home spot.
The difference is easily apparent. Fewer people crowding this once popular spot, with shorter stays, and from what can be seen, less orders. The wifi remains but at this rate that may not be long for this world either. The staff is wonderful. Polite, friendly and they care about the customers making this an anchor for many locals, but without a plug there is no reason to stay and order that reciprocal lunch and coffee. Long haulers take your computers, and money, elsewhere.

Great coffee and yogurt parfait. Good spot to work/study. Wifi could use some enhancements, it’s a bit slow. Prices for pies are very high.
Dominika van Santen
One of my fav cafes. Delicious strawberry cheesecake. Coffees are good. Ambiance super good! They have live music everyday after 6. They have WiFi. Their wraps are delicious. Love this place!!! They could have more ventilation when it’s summer cause it gets hot
Stina Pederson
Cozy atmosphere and delicious food. I love the vegetarian quiches and every pie I've tried. The coffee is great, too! They have live music on a regular basis and it's always good. Friendly staff.
Joseph Ehrenpreis
Love this lil spot. Has a wide variety of teas and pies. They have live music in the afternoon and occasionally a world class player will show up. Great spot to read or study

Really cool, very cozy, wonderfully romantic place to unwind, release the
stress of the day, listening to some good music or getting a few laughs while enjoying great coffee and fantastic food. This place has it all and at a reasonable price. Plush furnishings allow you to feel like you're at home and the dimmed lights only adds to relaxation. All of which has a very soothing effect and makes the conversations and enjoyment flow.
I had a really nice time and when it was all over I didn't want to go home.
Murazik Brennan
The pies here are freaking amazing and the service is top notch good. I recommend trying them out when you can. The food is that amazing here.
K. H.
Always love the atmosphere! Seating can be hard to come by depending on the time of day but overall always a top choice for relaxation, live music at night, or just a great conversation over pie/cake/food and/or tea/coffee/assorted drinks. Most definitely a neighborhood staple.
Chris De La Cruz
I ordered a pie from here in early November in search of the perfect pie to buy for thanksgiving. I ordered online super easy and convenient. I arrived on time to pick it up. The guy at the counter was super rude and short with me. Lol he must have thought I was a delivery driver. The pie is cold when you pick it up. Comes with easy to follow warming instructions. The pie comes out delicious after warming. The filling is well balanced. Sweet and tart. The apples are layered sky high, a thing of beauty. Apples still have a bite to them. Not mushy. It feels like they have their skin giving them so much flavor and texture. Delicious golden brown crust. That being said the quality drops significantly the next day. Great for same day consumption. After that the pie is ok at best. For the price and service I'd skip it.
Matt Bierwagen
Staff is always friendly, and if you go enough they they'll start addressing you by name. Amazing atmosphere, great coffee, and even better pie. Their Earl Grey Cream pie is my favorite. All of their baked goods are also great. I myself am partial to the Cronuts. If you're there for brunch, try their French Toast or their Ham and Cheese Quiche!
Stephanie Fierro
I loved this place. I went with my boyfriend for the first time on, 3.14, pie day and had a great time. The food was great and the ambiance was vibrant yet cozy with live music performances. We discovered Kristen Lynn and the Foxgloves that night. They gave gave a fun, gracious, and casual performance which made the night feel lively yet personable. The pie was great as well and the coffee was the cherry on top. We had three different pies: a fruit pie, a cream pie and a meat pie. Each one was delicious and satisfying.
In all honesty, each component on its own was it's own experience, but when combined made my overall experience at Republic of Pie rememberable.
Milo Cold
Never been to a pie store, and know nothing about pies. Regardless, Charlie walked me through the scary endeavor and was super nice while I screwed up the entire transaction. I learned stuff today.
Chucky Chuck
I've only had breakfast here and it's always delicious. They also serve large portions and make it quick.
James Ryan
High quality space, high quality pies. I had the chocolate banana bread pudding, it was absolutely decadent. Wi-fi was dependable. Outlets were limited. Service was quite slow--took about 10-15 minutes to heat up a slice of pie and another 5 to get an extra fork.
Overall, will be happy to come back!
Isaac Kessler
One of, if not THE BEST coffee shop in LA! The staff have always been very welcoming and there are live musical performances in the evening by very talented folk. Wifi, great hours, couches, plants, humanity, oh and the pie's not too bad either (it's incredible).
Andy Au
Live Music and Great Pie, a WONDERFUL combination of Joy's.
I saw the fabulous Johnnie Gilmore in Bass

The space is good, a little crowded (plenty of seating, but not enough to meet demands during their busier hours), but the workers are very friendly and casual so you don't feel stressed to interact with them. The food, whether you're ordering a pie, a salad, or a chicken wrap, is all very good! You might need to wait a while before you can find an open seat, especially if you're in a group of 2 or more and want to sit together. Most of the other customers who dine there are also very friendly (kind of impossible to not be when you're in such a location with a friendly, casual aura and close-proximity seating). Overall, my experience there was very nice. I only took off one star for the whole waiting-for-an-open-seat situation.
James Wan
Excellent place for all kinds of pie creations from savory to sweet. Coffee drinks are also equally as good. There are usually plenty of seating and weekend nights may include some live entertainment. The only disgusting thing is at closing they mop the floors with this bucket full of dark gray liquid that is totally foul. I mean they start with dirty.
ADream In Japan
Very cool place! They have lots of different pies, whole pies are ordered 24 hours in advance. They also have great breakfast choices, I recommend the croissants- cream cheese filled was Delish. The atmosphere is very low key and relaxing, they have tons of seating, couches and books. Very nice.
Warren Nagatani
Great coffee and breakfast! Get the pancakes, you will not regret it!
Damon Lewis
Sadly, 4N20, home of the award winning, deeply spiced pumpkin pie, is closed, so this was my first stop in the hunt for a go to pumpkin pie. It was double the price at $35.00. The crust was delicious, akin to a shortbread cookie. The custard was pleasant, heavy, and light at the same time. It tasted pumpkiny good, but it was bland. I could not detect a hint of ginger, cinnamon, allspice or nutmeg. For $35.00, I expected more. The non-apologetic manager told me that he would inform the chef...So the hunt continues.
Steven Bulifant
I had a cappuccino and their thanksgiving pie last year. I can't remember what all was in it but I can tell you it didn't last very long. It was delicious and if I am ever back in N. Hollywood I am going to make sure I come back. The people behind the coffee bar were great and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who lives here or is stopping by.
kathleen Deming
Great place to meet friends. Fabulous pie 🥧 …
Salvador Castillo
Excellent pie and coffee plus the lunch menu is very tempting. Compared to other coffee stops the aclectic comfy feel and table side service is refreshing and rewarding. Close to bus lines and other venues. Must check out.
Ian Raymond
Great spot to relax! The coffee is great and the food is tasty too. The relaxed atmosphere let's you chill out for add long as you want, and most of the seats are away from the front so you don't have deal with the hustle and bustle.
Danvir Singh
Great local coffee shop to visit when in the valley. Very relaxed and chill place to spend a few hours working. It also never get's crowded as well. To top it off, this place has some of the best pie in the area, all hand-made in house. Both dessert-style pies and heartier-style pies for the meat-lovers out there. If you come in the afternoon/evening you'll be serenaded by some of the best local LA musicians playing on the stage. It's a mini-Troubadour in Burbank. Do yourself a favor and check it out when your in the area.
Paloma Uribe
Amazing food, large space with many tables and couches. Only challenge is parking.
Jim Clements
It's a cafe-style place with an upbeat atmosphere and a unique offering of a wide selection of pies. A friend and I enjoyed some delicious raspberry pie in the back tent on a comfy couch. All around a good experience and would visit again if I am ever in North Hollywood again.

Hands down best pie I’ve had!! My bf and I were running around most of the day trying to find a great place for apple pie before my flight back home. We decided to land on this bakery as the last one we went to didn’t have apple pie. It was very delicious and my favorite part was the crust! Definitely will be back when I’m in town again
Jennifer Durst
Love going here for a nice warm latte. They have baked goods that amazing as well. Everything seems fresh and I have never had any problems with the staff there. I live close by so its a great place to go to whenever I feel like I want great coffee and a fresh, warm baked good.
Casey Follen
Great vibes/ambiance, the patio is beautiful, and there is plenty of seating for larger groups.
Chelsey S
Happening coffee shop with good eats and live music. The pie selection is great with sweet and savory options. Try the Earl Grey Cream pie - it is as it sounds!
I was here in the evening and it's definitely a social, happening place so if you are looking to take some biz calls, perhaps select another spot.
Danielle Kay
If you're hoping to find all the creative minds of North Hollywood gathered in one coffee shop location, talking about scripts and web series pitches and sketch projects, then look no further! Even with the plentiful seating, this place is usually quite busy. Comfy, cozy, and a little bit janky. The coffee and the food are just alright. The pie is where it's at! They have a wide selection. The apple is great! Friendly staff as well.
L
The place to be for the hip and trendy!
The atmosphere and look of the place is very inviting and nice to look at. You'll see most of the place covered in wood and industrial steel. The whole place is like a work of modern-art. If that doesn't get you, then their pies will. Make sure you come here with a sweet-tooth or a knack for people watching.
Piper Lebau
Expensive but tasty, it's hard to spend under $20 if you're getting food and a drink, but it's good food so I can't really complain. It just means I don't go there as often as I'd like
GH Lee
Every time I go to Republic of Pie, it has great pie and pretty good coffee. I wish they made vegan desserts, but I’ve had pie with so many berries that it’s just the crust, I can’t eat. They also often have live music 🎼 which I really enjoy . It’s a very cozy and casual atmosphere. …
Dr Hopsalot
Welcome to all that is good in the hipster culture! Appreciation of atmosphere. Proud attention to detailing. Empowerment of the creative spirit. Exploration off the beaten path. Unbridled positivity.
A rejuvenating space that lures you into the human condition, which isnt so bad and! (and even if it were, at least you have pie!).
sherryershadi
The staff is very nice, the pies are great and there's live music in the afternoon. Plenty of seating area inside (tables, couches, benches etc), a few tables outside. Kitchen staff is also very kind and warm.
Parker Green
What a blast!! I'm so ecstatic to have found this little gem in North Hollywood! We were in the area and stopped here to relax and unwind for a bit, it's so adorable! Big comfy couches with coffee tables throughout the dining area, a stage with great local performers, and a tree inside with a sign that says "I Am Groot"!! We ordered a couple macaroons and the Nutella latte, both were wonderful. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other food options and to just relax and study! Great patrons, staff, and atmosphere!
Jessica Ma
Republic of pie... Or Central Perk??? This spot with the mega awesome pie menu has that super laid-back, casual, hang-out vibe, where you can lounge at a regular table, high top, cushy chair/couch, or outdoor patio table. And not only can you pie to your heart's content, you can pair it with some Stumptown coffee. Does it get any better? I prefer the crust on the fruit pie over the cream pie. But it's also pie, so I'll take either one, any day.
For those of you who may want to consider a meal that is not 100% pie, there are sandwiches, salads, and pastries available. Or go for a tiny, personal-sized savoury pie--the best of both worlds!
The one kerfuffle--the ultra chill vibe here encourages people to camp out, making it potentially hard to find seating.
Jessica
Pie was wonderful. They have savory pies also.
Laila Romero
You can star in your very own episode of "FRIENDS" at Republic of Pie This cute little pie shop not only serves up great drinks and pies but is a comfy little place to hang out with your "FRIENDS". furnished with lounge at home like coffee table and couches and their very own "Phoebe" stage (although the music is way better).
They also have tables on the side and outdoors if you're looking for a quieter talking place and a not so comfy setting. Republic of Pie to my surprise also serves up savory pies like chicken pot pie served up with a little mixed greens on the side so this place is also great for a lunch date not just to satisy that sweet tooth and don't forget to check out their drink specials. I tried their "Matcha Lemonade" and it was Great! A must try!
Mirkittyz20
This place is amazing! This is my spot. I love coming here just to get away and enjoy delicious pie while listening to live music. Yes things can be a bit pricey but it's worth it. Just be aware of parking, there's only street parking and also it gets packed. especially when someone is performing and they have alot of supporting fans.
Anastassia Davis
My fave neighborhood coffee shop. The coffee here is actually GOOD...unlike many, many other indie coffee shops I've visited. Get their pour-overs for the best flavor.
Their baristas -- all really nice -- rock this sweet bohemian/Roaring 20s vibe, and the place itself feels like a homey used bookstore or living room.
Pies (and all their pastries) are baked in-house and are totally worth it...best pie in the valley and among the best in L.A.
Adélaïde Hanne
This is a nice confi place to hang out, listen some live music at night or just have a coffee and do your stuff. There is an happy hour between 3pm and 5pm, so you can have discount on some drinks. The pie are freaking amazing if you're like that!!
InterpreterCat White
Cute place, and that is what gives them the three star rating. Ordered a quiche, Australian meat pie, and Marionberry pie.
London fog, and pumpkin pie latte. If you like Australian meat pie, this is not anything like the Aussie meat pies you are used to, from Queen Vic market.
Everything was just okay. A one time visit, to check off the list.
J L
A nice selection of baked goods, pies, and nice coffee. I ended u getting a lemon poppy seed muffin and a cold brew coffee. The muffin was of your standard caliber nothing crazy but yummy none the less. Lots of seating so no line!
Vahagn Karapetyan
The pie is always fresh and they have live music in the evenings. The main problem I have with this place is that it's always so packed. I can understand why since it's such a neat spot but it's kind of a drag when I consistently have a hard time finding a place to sit.
Since I can't complain about a place being "too" popular, I still gave it 5 stars.
Tammy Pham
I was in the area delivering Halloween items for my job and I decided to have something sweet for my lunch break. I came to yelp and you guys had great things to say about it so I decided to go for it and try it.
I ordered the coconut cream pie and it is just delicious! It is so creamy and smooth and I like the fact that they put just enough coconut flakes in it.
I will try something else next time but just had to share that this pie was so good. So good that I couldn't wait to take a picture Lol.
Maximilian Barragan
I absolutely loved the environment and the coffee selection is amazing. It's kind of a hipster area but everyone I came into contact with was so friendly. The pie is so delicious and we'll put together.
Michael Wessel
Dropped by there the other day for a meeting and was pleasantly surprised. The place has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and an interesting flow of people. I judge a coffee shop by their standard drip, and they passed the test. Didn't get a chance to test the wi-fi, so can't comment on that. Parking could be interesting depending on the time of day. But I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
Lela Aylin
A go-to spot for socializing over coffee, listening to a local live musician, or putting headphones on and zoning into your laptop. The drinks actually aren't that impressive but the atmosphere is great. books, couches, tables, stage, high ceilings, etc. good spot!
Yo Rodriguez
Pies were amazing. Had the Earl Gray and Chocolate Banana Cream and both were delicious. Went in very early on 4th of July and the guy in the counter is so catatonic. Can't blame him, who wants to work on a holiday...
Abbey Irwin
Cozy and delicious!
This quaint shop is bigger than it looks! The interior and seating has a coffee shop vibe with an array of stools, tables, couches, and some communal tops. There's lots of fun features like a covered patio, a small stage, open ceiling and window to the kitchen where you can see apples being peeled with a power drill on occasion.
They have a full menu including lots of pot pies but wraps and sandwiches and soups too, in addition to all the delicious dessert pies. The coffee and hot cocoa are tasty and sweet.
The only drawback in my experience was that I came here with the Mr to eat lunch and most of the patrons were people working at tables with laptops. We stood around a few minutes and got a table when a couple left, and the same happened when we left (folks lurking for a table slipped right in). I hate to make such a complaint as I'm no stranger to wanting to be out to work with a cup'o joe...it's just a struggle for our current age I suppose.
Get some pie! Yay!

Usually each morning after my visit to 24 hr fitness I have breakfast here. The service is top notch, the vibes are also zen and the food is the best, my go to is the bacon quiche. Corina is the sweetest but everyone is pleasant as well as the guests. The live performance is also something to look forward to at night.

Add it to your list of best gems in Los Angeles. I wish I lived in Noho just to frequent this place. Came here on Saturday evening for some after dinner pie and open mic show. Great performer with a Corine Rae Bailey voice and a warm atmosphere- totally not LA vibe in a good way. It’s that coffee shop you want to always go to and meet your friends there. The tree in the middle is one of my favorite parts. The only negative is the parking so it’s best to live close or Uber. Lots of good eats around there.
Andrew Stawiarski
I love REPUBLIC OF PIE..!! Great coffee and food. But the VIBE is awesome. I sit down with my coffee and the energy is great for getting work done. As I see all the dishes being eaten and view the Pie's being made (through the exhibition kitchen) I see how good the food is (even before I've eaten it)... Go there..!!
Heidi Gray
This is my favorite coffeeshop when I am in LA. Located in the heart of North Hollywood of Magnolia boulevard is where you will find the best espresso drinks in the valley! I recommend their iced mocha because it’s the perfect balance of coffee and chocolate. Many places put too much chocolate in it or use it to cover up their burnt, acidic coffee (Starbucks), but not these guys. They recognize the balance between the two.
Chef Robert Olivares
This place isn’t like any other restaurant. It’s more Like relaxing at a friends place that serves awesome pies. The staff if courteous and friendly and most importantly their food and yes their pies are amazing. I haven’t been disappointed and I plan to go back as often as possible.
Karreno Alexanyan
This is definitly one of my go to places when it comes to getting a Chai Latte (I specifically like the hazelnut milk Chai Latte). The pies are overall good but fall short in their freshness (maybe because I've always tried them in the evening) I particularly like the live shows they have. You can always find someone new and fresh performing on stage. The overall atmosphere and customer service is great.
Allan Suwito
This place definitely lives up to its hype. I must say that the key lime pie was quite The pie. The coconut pie and berry pie were still solid, but I was not blown away by it. The key lime o the other hand, makes you go "wow that is good" upon tasting it.
Romie Eley III
Always pleasantly surprised, the apple pies perfect cinnamon pinch,.. blueberry muffins fluffy interior bursting with flavor without being too sweet or cakey', plus the crew is kind and chill.
Willy Garcia
Good variety of Stumptown Coffee served all year long. Some great pies to pair along with good coffee. Something for everyone with the variety of pies offered on a daily basis. Full breakfast and lunch menu as well with plenty of healthy options to balance out the slice or whole pie you devour after a meal.
Jarrett Kaufman
Fantastic café . Has a feel that's sorely lacking in LA. Eclectic, live music, nicely styled, books to read, inventive sitting, and killer food. The mac and cheese pot pie is spectacular, their quiches rock, and their pies maintain the reputation one would hope from the name. One of my favorite places.
bono212
Probably my favorite restaurant in the valley. I'm happy they've branched out a bit in their salad selections, because sometimes I just like to come here for the coffee/tea and something light. But on general, their crusts are where it's at. Pie, quiche, pot pie, it doesn't matter, that crust sells each and every one of them.
Evelyn Cervantes
They had live music playing which made the vibe really chill. their couches were really comfy, the kind you remember and want to come back to and their pie options are impressive. I really enjoyed the berry pie.
Brandon Irwin
OMG. I literally have never written a review in my entire life but this place deserves one. The pie is off the charts... Pie charts. ;) Love the vibe of this place. Feels so cozy and energetic. There's always a good biz going from all the files. Students and the place just feels comfy with the big plush chairs and the three distinct areas to hand out in. Pluses I saw a pie maker peeling an apple with a drill! So rad. Plus none of the hip youth looked at me funny for bringing my baby! Score! Oh yeah and the food is De-lish!!!
jacob stoddard
Great atmosphere and great pancakes
Margaret Powel
I feel like every time I come here there is a new pie on the menu. Its so confusing because I love sweets. So I usually end up getting the chocolate banana bread pudding. Kind of pricey place. I wouldn't come here often but once in a while I can afford to. Cute little hipster place
Tamara Qonita Mahadi
I tried the Earl Grey Cream pie and it was a delicacy. The bitterness of the Earl Grey was balanced by the cream. The pie crust was also so so good. Definitely will be back to try other flavors and their coffee.
이서현
Wonderful pie and cake.
Kind staff. Super recommend
Ty Popko
The iced coffee is amazing and you see the barista make it fresh though a bit pricy at $3 something for a normal sized glass. Pies are tasty. French macaroon was great. It's nice and large inside. perfect vibe to just hang out. I always do have quite a bit of trouble connecting to the Internet in there. They use a voucher system where once you purchase something you ask the counter for a 2 hour code to enter.
Jeremy James
Great place to work, but if your laptop battery dies, you’re SOL. Super hard to get a seat near an outlet. This place needs more outlets!
B K
Great Experience. I do love this cozy coffee bar, and its atmosphere. I make it my daily visit :)
Only complaint I have is the young lady making the cold brew had the procedure a bit backwards... she added a bit too much water to the end of the brew resulting in a water down bev. I know it needs to be cut, but ya gotta cut it right :) The barista should be paying a lil more attention it.
Other than that, I highly recommend this fine establishment for all, and this will have no effect on my visit frequency.
Ashley S Johnson
Love this neighborhood spot. Been here tons of time and service is great, most of the time.
Beware of the pastries on the counter behind the glass. They keep muffins, bars etc, there. I see many flys landing on the pastries and then it being sold to patrons. :/The flies are living in a food paradise here. I know most restaurants have flies, but there should some type of enclosed case for those items. I stick to hot food and beverages here.
John Lucien Grillo
If I could afford it, this place would be a daily stop for me. Not that it's expensive, prices are actually pretty good. The atmosphere is great, the selection of treats is amazing, and the staff are just as sweet as sugar. Another big plus is thr outdoor seating on the shady side of the street all morning. And their cortado gets a thumbs up.
Jonathan Lee
My favorite spot in the valley for pie (a specialty not enough places have). Some of my favorite pies are the coconut cream, matcha cheesecake, strawberry rhubarb, and marionberry. They also have a pretty good cronut. Coffee's great, too; I usually stick to the espresso drinks and pourovers, but I tried a matcha latte once and enjoyed it.
Joseph Chakola
I love this. The coffee and pies are soooooo good! They have created a great environment to socialize and get your work done. The perfect artist's lounge!
Kristy Farr
Delicious food and great staff. Good location lots of local eateries in walking distance. Had we known they had savory dishes we would have had dinner here. Loved the pie!!!
Carmen J
There coffee, Breakfasts are great.. the Only thing is that after 2nd 3rd time ordering the coffee, it didn't come out like the 1st time. Not consistent with the coffee making
Rowan Hall
One of my favorite places in the city. Great food, delicious teas, and more than that....wonderful employees. They remember regulars, welcome first timers, and create an atmosphere that makes you want to stay all day.
Evgeny Kapinosov
Good quality of coffee. Moreover, they have a love music. Very interesting experience. Like it. But parking might be a b¡tch read the sighs and feet your meters.
Chewie Mon
I call this my second home, and anyone who knows me (or works at RoP) knows that it's true. They have great coffee and teas that they pour with expertise and care. The staff is beyond wonderful, and since they got a Booking Manager (Sophie!) a couple of months back, the music has been consistent and delightful. My fave food items to get here are their Thanksgiving Pot Pie (seriously, Thanksgiving in a cup? famazeballs), their revamped apple pie (SO F-ING DELISH!!), their breakfast or chicken wraps, and their salads (add chicken!). I'll even swing by to grab a warm chocolate croissant or two early in the morning as a treat for my friends because it's simply the best. If you're looking for great drinks, I'd suggest the Matcha Latte, Nutella Latte, and definitely Milan's Dirty Chocolate Chai.
Robert Gamboa
The banana bread pudding pie is the best. Great atmosphere.
Cody Filbert
Lovely spot for coffee, breakfast or a slice of pie. WiFi and plenty of space to sit, if you come early that is, because this place can be popular. Always great quality.
Dino Cera
There are just no words to express my love for this place... From the superb Banana Cream to the Pecan Pie and everything in between. This is a must stop for any pie lover, but don't forget the home made whipped cream and fantastic coffee.
Dilson Dinolang
My friend and I love how their pie. Variety selection of foods and drinks of good quality.
Jamie Elizabeth Sampson
Requested an extra warm cappuccino with oat milk but it was way too hot to drink for the first 10 mins and the espresso tasted burnt. Key lime pie crust isn't that great. Should be a graham crust in my opinion.
Esteban Minero
This place is right on Magnolia in the art district of NoHo. The coffee is great but the pies are where it's at. Seating is ample but it's gets packed. All around a great place to enjoy coffee, desert, and a spot to read.
Tyler Thornberg
My favorite spot in the valley for good coffee, reliable wifi, and an active atmosphere.
JC Kollmorgen
I grew up in NoHo but moved away for college. It was a pleasure to come back for a visit and to see the NoHo Arts District flourishing. The Republic of Pie is a great neighborhood place for a date or just to meet friends. The atmosphere is relaxing and I've heard there is usually nightly entertainment of some sort. The savory pies are very delicious. I haven't had one of their sweet pies yet but they always look tempting.
Claudia Pena
Holy cow! They couldn't have picked a more fitting name... Their pies are delicious. I had the matcha cheesecake and it was devine! It tasted like real cheesecake! Not overly sweet like store bought kind. The nutella latte is a really good pairing too :)
Camille Calvin
I come here for the long list of coffee's and tea's. And ALL of the food is good. You can watch the chefs prepare the food and pies behind a large glass window. Which is always nice.
Tom Jedlicka
Great pies, quiches, and breakfast sandwiches. Coffee was delicious too and atmosphere of the shop was pleasant. Can be very busy on the weekend (not enough seats).
Alex Buckingham
One of my favorite places to go in the arts district. Really good coffee and food and they have an outdoor space so I can sit outside with my dog.
leslie harris
Sweet, adorable and really nice place to get work etc done in a place with a easygoing vibe. The staff and management team are always courteous, and the food is delicious. Check their website for entertainment, because I went not knowing it was going to be any entertainment and I was quite surprised.
Veronica Lugo
A very cute place, perfect for a casual date. I’ve tried a slice of the blueberry peach pie and it was a good thick slice and it’s not overly sweet. You can also get pie a la mode here :)
Juan Vazquez
I didn't like pie, until I tried Republic of Pie. I can't think of which pie to recommend because every single one I tried was delicious. The place gets pretty crowded at night and there's often a singer-songwriter on stage on weekends. It can get loud and it's hard to find a seat 75% of the time, so don't come here if you want to get work done and it's past 4pm-ish. But please come here for the pie.
MB Kramer
We love this place. Wish we lived closer. On our way home to Santa Cruz today. Had the potato
leek and goat cheese quiche. YUM. Hubby had the croissant sandwiche. Happy tummies for our drive and a TOGO piece of Marion berry pie c u next time XO
Pie for the road trip!
joshua Paul
Great atmosphere . Hemp lattes. All the food is good and you can see them making it, which is always good. They have the best almond croissants.
Wendell Frink
They've got great coffee and the pie is amazing. It does get busy and finding a seat can be difficult, but it's a great place to drink some coffee and get work done.
Maggie Moore
The food is always good. The service is usually fast. There is sometimes a line because it's very popular. They have Wi-Fi. The atmosphere is fantastic for work or reading or just hanging out. They have a few outdoor tables. One of my fav places.

Rop has the best pies on LA my favorite is the cookies and cream and banana cream you won't go wrong. Rop has super fun welcoming atomsphere that will keep you coming back .
Charles Hall. Jr.
All their pies are freshly baked and get a slice or order a pie you have a little bit of other menus items
Brian “Chef Turok” Menendez
I tried a few of their pies, and was pretty surprised. I liked the 3 layer "pie" cake, and the bread pudding. As for their drinks, I'm not a fan of coffee, so I tried one of their teas, instead. I ordered the Chocolate Iced Chai Tea Latte . . . WOOOW . . . That sukkah was friggin' badass! Def worth trying out!
aian46
Love the pastries, the pies. Worth it to dine in for the ambience. Parking might be a little difficult (limited, metered, off a busy street).
Scott Wayne
Parking is absolutely impossible, never again
Brett Solomano
Great food. Great staff. Great people. Full of creative types and I often strike up a conversation with people here.
Note: avoid busy times if you want to get a seat...especially one with power!
Juvi Guevara
I honestly thought that after frequenting The Pie Hole in the Arts District part of DTLA, I had hit the pie ceiling. I was dead wrong, and let me tell you... I think I'm okay with that.
First of all, this place is so much bigger than The Pie Hole. The restaurant is so spacious, it actually has couches to go with their tables, and a bookshelf in the corner, to boot. And a tree inside. Can't forget the tree. That aside, the options go far beyond pie. They have a plethora of quiche, pastries, and entire wall full of drink options, sporting an impressive array of coffees and teas made about every way you can imagine. And they even have a few macarons and cold-pressed juices on hand, on any given day. Do you love Nutella? They happen to have a Nutella turnover. If that doesn't excite you you, how about a good ole' slice Pumpkin Pie? No? What about Pumpkin CHEESECAKE? Or Espresso Almond Pie. Like fruity? Two words: Strawberry-Rhubarb. Seriously, if you can't find something to eat here, there might be something wrong with you.
The cherry on top of this pie sundae, though, is the ambiance. Never have I felt so chill in a restaurant this trendy anywhere in LA, that remains this busy on a regular basis. It's truly a jewel worth discovering.
So, bring your laptop, tablet, or dare I say, handheld video game system, order a Dulce Latte, (Vietnamese-style coffee), hunker down, and stay a while. And eat lots of pie.
Justin Schwartz
Had a banana cream pie and a ham and cheese quiche. Both were memorable. The pie was just sweet enough without being cloying, and it was fresh-tasting. The quiche was flavorful and not as dense as I was expecting (thankfully).
Corneilius Taylor
........... I'm speechless. The chicken pot pie was nostalgic. Took me right back to 7yrs old. The flaky crust perfection. I'm always stopping by when I'm in town.
Boris Fridman-Mintz
Excellent coffee, desserts, and food. I hope evening live music returns soon. Lively place, brings back many memories.
300 lb Gorilla
The key lime pie was great. There was also live music. I will be back.
Brian Boing
Nice little outdoor patio hidden in the back of the restaurant as well as a few tables out front made for a nice outdoor pandemic dining experience. Went for brunch and coffee and the food was good.
Lauren White
Great space, comfortable environment, positive atmosphere. Delicious gluten free options. A little on the higher end, price wise but will definitely go back!
Amandine Garcia
Very beautiful place with live music and a lot of tables ! But the piece of pie wasn’t really good, just average for 7dollars it’s pretty expensive, I was expecting better quality for the republic of pie ! Also the waitress was really nice and smiled a lot but the cashier wasn’t really nice.
Mohammed Patel
Amazing breakfast place! Customer service is amazing! Atmosphere is awesome! Make sure you get the orange juice aswell!! Best orange juice I've had!!!
lucas reever
Great atmosphere for getting out of the house to work on your passion project. Tons of artists working amongst you. Great coffee, tea, and confections. Live music from time to time.
Will Kivinski
NoHo is becoming uber trendy in the arts district. Republic of Pie is right in the heart of it! The first thing I noticed is that when I walked in, it's way bigger than I had anticipated. It has incredibly high ceilings and is very airy. If you want Pie, Coffee or Live Music, this is your place. I caught up with a friend here on Sunday afternoon. I had an Americano (with Stumptown coffee beans) and a slice of Pumpkin Cheesecake Pie. Seriously awesome! It's hard to have a conversation when live music is happening, so try to sit closer to the front of the shop if you can. Couch seating is at a premium here!
andrhea ray
Live music on a Friday night. Delicious pies and excellent 8 oz Stumptown cappuccino!! We had little kids with us, and it was still fun!
Dave A.
Great pies, both salty and sweet. Be warned, they're pretty filling. A pot pie and one slice of pumpkin and I was done 😆 …
Daniel Moore (Wayne)
The pie. The coffee. The music. The customer service. All 5 star. The customers can be total, "hi I just moved to LA and I'm a famous actor you've never heard of" ish tho. I find it entertaining to say the least.
Aja Bush
They have great food. I got the vegetable quiche and rose latte...so good! It is also a great place to study or hang with friends while have a good cup of coffee.
dave mausner
The main things are: the pie slices are absolutely the tallest in the world, the fillings are pure fruit not sugary syrup, the counter ladies are the cutest and friendliest. The neighborhood is packed with millennial fun places. I pledge allegiance to the Republic.
Josh Creter
Great local coffee shop - definitely a place to come sit and hang out
In addition to pies and pastries they have some light meal options (chili, sandwiches)
It can get crowded and a bit noisy - especially if there's someone performing (usually singer with guitar or piano)
Gabrielle Thomas
Always consistent, always delicious. If you're lucky enough to find a seat, recommend staying for the music performances.
Monica W
Delicious Cafe Mochas and Avocado toast! Friendly service, wifi yes! Quiet work and study space, music not at all loud during the day..
Abbey Farkas
Went here with a friend and we each had a slice of pie and an espresso. Everything we had was delicious. The pie can be rich, so remember to get yourself a glass of water!
Julie Scott
Everything we ordered was fantastic. Atmosphere is very cozy without being crowded. Will definitely return the next time we are in North Hollywood.
Terry Mckinney
Cute little place, Prices are a little high for a whole pie and they didn't look that appealing. Service was good and they had live music which is always fun
Mackenzie Dutton
Amazing but wish they had more vegan options ♥️
My Collie
Live entertainment. Yummy pies.the only problem was parking. Hopefully a temporary issue.
Kristofer Mitchell
Quite the hidden gem. Bright skylit dining room adorned with tables, couches, and plants. Food is exceptionally good. Don't forget to order one of their delicious pies!
Sarah Kingsbury
The croque monsieur and jasmine tea were incredible. Very hard to choose a favorite pie here but rifht now it's definitely the chocolate banana cream pie
robert duran
Always pick up for Togo because parking is crazy but great pie, cool scene if you can find parking despite the price, it's totally worth it. Enjoy!
Abigail Lomingkit
Decent pie, great fresh coffee and tea, love the atmosphere inside and out....I am GRUT is awesome....live music weekend evenings was a great touch....I stayed longer for that reason
Mudaser Basam
Picked up a pecan pie. A bit expensive but definitely worth it
Adrian
It's in the name, go get a slice of strawberry rhubarb it's off the ⛓️ nice litt grubbing area. Yummy.
Marcos Castro
Live music, great tea and a really cool vibe. They have vegan cookies which are pretty good but I really wish they'd have a vegan pie option.
M Rawlings
Wonderful apple pie with apples slices thin instead of chunks (diced). Not too sweet or overly buttery. Add ice cream if you'd like more sweet/creaminess.
Teri Jo Rask
Rubublic of Pie is a great place to work or meet with a friend and chat. They have good coffee AND they have live music every night!
William Russell
Awesome pie and the live music we listed to was sublime. Not like the band sublime with Rome, but like the adjective sublime, meaning dope. Which is also a word that describes sublime.
David Dobson
I am not a pie lover, but I find their pies heavy and overly sweet and very expensive. I've had coffee and breakfast here a couple times and I want to like the place, but it's just a little to hipster for me.
Julie C
Great pie and coffee, but the service turned me off considering I've came here before and have gotten better service than this time around. I get the fact it gets busy, but honestly when you need something no one seemed willing to acknowledge me.
Joe Yatsky
Quirky, trendy, delicious delicious delicious pies!! House of pie should just secede any standing they have to the Republic, which is hands down the best pie shop in LA
W McHaddad
Great coffee, tons of seating, very trendy but still friendly, local artists showcase music every night. I highly recommend this place!
Coral Palladino
Everyone here is amazing. Great muffins and French toast. Love their blended mocha with caramel. Highly recommended!
Joseph Vaudreuil
Amazing pie variety, great atmosphere, live music frequently. Pies are about $5.50 a slice. Very reasonable for the portion and flavor.
Mike Marshall
Great selection of pies! They also have a coffee happy hour with half off coffees. It's nice to find a place that makes a macchiato correctly!
Mark Hedges
THANK YOU for gluten-free scones that taste like real scones! (What about pie?) So many choices for coffee drinks it's overwhelming.
Nick Sepe
High quality pies and treats here... down side to this place has too many lingering people just sitting and not moving... makes it hard to find a table... I always end up taking our stuff to go
Sonia Vasquez
Looks like a great place to enjoy a brunch.
polina matveeva
Every time I order something theat comes with a salad, there are always rotten leaves in the salad! Do you people not check what you put on the box at all?
Sebastiano Pestoni
Great coffee and pies. Well organized and good service. Can't find anything sarcastic to say. Will be back.
Oh Yaseen
Nice place. Super busy. Parking was horrible the Sunday I went. It's very hipster-esque. If you're a valley native, you might not feel at home here.
Michael Minto
Since that lonely valentine's day when I stumbled into ROP, I was in love. Not with a woman, mind you, with the aesthetic. The deep wood tones and sheet metal facades make you feel so cool that you can't help but wince your eyes and bob your head to the side saying "skibidoo bop- skadoo BLOP!". And the bombastic flavours of the drinks will make you pretentious so hard that you'll write things like "flavour", "&", and "resumé". Then there's the pie, which tastes good so you'll likely say "hmmm, mmm," assuming, of course, that you purchase & taste the pie.
Walter Kilar (キラー ウォルター)
Great place for coffee or dessert. It can be hard to find a seat. Be sure to try their special latte or quiche of the day.
Spencer Smith
Everything about this place is a service to its community. The pies are wonderful, excellent tea and coffee, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and cozy seating. This might be my favorite place on Magnolia
Tyler A
Nice atmostphere, mediocre pie. Ordered Coconut Cream Pie and it was average. Definitely not fresh.

Nice space with live music at certain times. Their savory Potato Leek pie was delicious.
Rafael Cruz
Good selection of pies. A bit overpriced, in my opinion but it attracts a chill crowd. Nice place.
Brianna Bricker
Everything tastes great! Some of the people who go here are kind of pretentious but when you live in Hollywood that's what you gotta deal with. I overall really like it here though :)
Christopher Woodring

Corbin
Lots of pies to choose from and the ones I tried were great! Great Coffee as well
Maria TV
Slow. Went after the lunch crowd and it took 20 minutes for food to go. Everyone there is just on their laptops writing, so seating is difficult since they plant themselves for hours at time.
Alicia de Leon (MADL-93)
They have pretty good teas. Their macarons are hit or miss though. The ambiance is great, though!
Bob Arnold

Arnee bar
A good piece of pie. My kids of 14yrs old of age reminds them of the tv show friends. So we end up sitting in the couch and listen to the performer.
Hunter Davis
The Turkey black bean chilli and the Coconut Cream Pie is out of this world. Honestly the best I've had anywhere...and I'm from Texas.
A.P. Thayer
Honestly, seems like people go here to hang out or listen to live music as opposed to getting drinks or pies or working. Pretty loud. Pies are okay, not amazing. Hard to find a seat most of the time.
Ankur Lad
Very good pies! Try their Earl grey pie! Live music from budding artists is way better then listening to mainstream artists!
Jacquie Welsh
I've never had anything here that I didn't like. My favorite is the strawberry rhubarb. Closet to what my grandma made that I've ever found!
