Reviews of Milk Bar
Great, helpful kind and pleasant service. I always get the cereal milk soft serve with cornflake topping. It is so good. You need to get a topping to get the full effect of the cereal milk soft serve. You will never go wrong with the crack pie unless you are not a fan of ooey gooey butter bars! It is pretty much what it is but made into a pie! Enjoy!
I ordered a cereal milk ice cream. It literally tasted like cereal milk ice cream. A friend who lives in New York told me to try this ice cream when I saw it, so I tried it and it was sweet and delicious. It is slightly sweeter than regular ice cream, so I recommend other menus for those who do not like sweetness. First of all, it was so cute! The staff was very friendly and there was no seating in the store, but you can sit and eat right in front of the store.
We visited this establishment on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. It is located in the Cosmopolitan hotel on the second floor right by the Chandelier Bar. It was my birthday, so I decided to make a pitstop here and get a birthday cake slice. Once we were attempting to order and got to the counter, there was a very rude gentleman that stepped in front of us after he had already ordered. He was attempting to pay for the ice cream he ordered, so I’m assuming he didn’t pay for it initially. I’m not sure as to why the employees didn’t ensure he payed for his ice cream before he received it. He totally interrupted us and gave my boyfriend a curt “excuse me”, as he stepped in front of us and put his card in to purchase his ice cream. This was after we had already gotten to the counter and addressed the employee stating that we wanted a slice of birthday cake. I think it’s a bit disappointing that the employee didn’t make him step behind us in line, since we had already ordered and were just about to pay for the birthday cake. I feel like this was very rude and disrespectful to us as customers. It’s a shame that the employee didn’t make him have some manners and decency towards another customer that was paying for an item. After that incident, we had to regroup and re-describe what we wanted. It was almost like we had reset and started the whole process over. We had just told her what we wanted before he decided to step in and interrupt us completely. Because we are decent people, we didn’t cause a scene and we decided to let it roll off of our backs. The employee did apologize to us after the guy paid and left, but I felt that they should’ve made him get behind us in line. Another solution would’ve been to have another employee come up and finish ringing him up. There was initially someone else that serviced him when we got there, so I don’t see why they couldn’t serve him again. It would’ve meant we could’ve received quality service at the counter like the paying customers we were. We started again and told the employee that we wanted a slice of birthday cake, which was $13. This little kiosk is cute, bright, and clean. They do have an A health score, which is comforting to know. Especially considering this is a busy kiosk in the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas hotel. It didn’t take long for her to box up our slice of birthday cake. It came in a cute little box that said Milk Bar on it. Keep in mind, they do not take any cash. It’s only credit or debit cards accepted as form of payment. It’s quite unfortunate that they don’t take cash. If somebody wanted to leave them a tip, how would they do so. They have no tip jar and they don’t accept cash at all. They have a variety of sweet treats including: Shakes, Milk Bar pie, Birthday cake, or Chocolate birthday cake. They also have Gluten-free options. I noticed they have a Gluten-free birthday cake by the slice, you could also purchase. They also have Cake truffles, Ice cream, and Coffee beverages. I think the two most popular items are: the Milk bar pie and the Birthday cake slice. They also have combination packages which include a Milkshake and a Cake slice. Once we received our cake, we went over to one of the commons seating areas to enjoy it. I did put birthday candles on the cake and my boyfriend sang Happy Birthday to me. The cake itself was pretty good. It was moist and had a nice balance of cake and icing. At the end of eating the cake, we did enjoy the little cake crumble pieces on the top. I would say this is a great place to go if you want to slice of cake. but you don’t want to hassle of trying to go to the store to get it. I do feel like the slice of cake was a pretty good size and could be shared between two people. Especially if they don’t have a huge sweet tooth at the time. Of course it’s a little bit over priced since it is Las Vegas, but I felt like for the convenience it was worth $13. Also it was my birthday and I wanted to try it. I wouldn’t not recommend this place, but I would definitely say they need to work on ensuring that their customers are equally respected.
It's a wild wild world out there. Milk tells you what you need to know for a sweet breakfast any time of day. It's in The Cosmopolitan on the 2nd floor, in food court area, right next to The Juice Standard and Momofuku. And speaking of the 2nd floor food court at The Cosmopolitan, why in the heck is the line at Eggslut always so long in the morning? People love their brunch I guess. Anyway I'm here to tell you everything you previously needed can be found once again so don't worry.
Elton John was in town last night. That could explain a lot of this.
Back to Milk.... When I saw Cereal Milk on the menu I thought perhaps this was a dispensary. I mean I really like Cereal Milk The Strain a lot. Tasty mellow flavor and excellent buzz. I also enjoyed cereal milk when I was in high school and college. Such was the old palette at the time. I think it is best when it comes from Fruity Pebbles or Cocoa Pebbles or Apple Jack's. But as far as having a restaurant built around cereal milk I'm not sure that's the best option for you when you're up here on the second floor food court at The Cosmopolitan. Perhaps you should refer to my review on District Donuts Sliders Brew or Bang Bar by Momofuku because these are other options that are also in the area and you might want to check them out as well.
I wonder if David Chang sold that place or what? Seems like he hit a trouble spot with the harassment. Remains to be seen. Ciao!
Really enjoy making a pitstop here for a snack/dessert/mid day treat on a hot day.
Milk Bar has great soft serve (try the one with breakfast cereal) and soft cookies - which make great Omiyage for friends and family back home
Blueberry & cream is my favorite cookie flavor - yum!
Finally stopped by to try Milk! Their Chocolate Birthday and Strawberry Shortcake Truffles are the best cake pops I’ve ever tried.
Don't care what others think, this is definitely worth the hype. This is the second review I have done on the Milk bar franchise and it's very very good. I can't say "crack pie" since it's changed to milk bar pie but it's truly the best pie I have had, along with sugary and awesome lattes and truffles. The staff and wait time were quick, nice, and amazing.
