Reviews of Carlo's Bakery

The cake and cannoli are both awesome at Carlos bakery. We decide to try out some dessert before dinner. We also went to Buddy V’S as well. The food was super and the bread for a appetizer was really good. It was a bit of a walk getting to this place. In Vegas everything is a long walk. Enjoyable and very worth it.

It’s a nice bakery. I don’t know why their rating is poor. Don’t judge by the rating, and give them a try. We took out some coffee and breakfast. The coffee was basic. The savoury ham and cheese croissant was excellent to start the day, followed by the chocolate croissant, lobster tail and the cannoli. We loved all of them, however, the cannoli was best in the lot.

My mom watches the show so she wanted to come here on 7/8/22 and it did not disappoint! We got the cannoli which was delicious. We also got the lobster tail which our whole party enjoyed, and we got the cheesecake which was amazing! The service was great and I will definitely be coming back here when I go to Vegas!!

We went to Carlo’s bakery for the Lobster Tail and Cannoli only and was pretty impressed with both. The cannoli was crunchy and had a good ricotta filling that was sweet but slightly grainy. The lobster tail was pretty darn yummy - the cream in the center was so good and the outside was super light and crispy. It was so good that it warranted the five star review - I would totally go back for that pastry alone! It’s a nice treat to enjoy when I’m in the area.

Tucked away in the corner across from buddy V's, Carlo's bake shop is worth a visit if you like cream filled pastries. We tried the original lobster tails, cookies and cream, and salted caramel. The original is hard to beat. I personally loved the salted caramel for its lightly sweet caramel taste. My fiance enjoyed the original the most. We both agreed we would skip the cookies and cream. Also got pumpkin pie cannolis. The cream was delicious but disappointed the shell was so soft with no texture. I think they were going for a pie crust but it's coming off a soft bread shell. Found out lobster tails aren't my thing but is my fiance's lol. It is a bit pricey at $7 per tail or $25 for a box of 4. I'm more of a croissant person so I'll probably stick to Bouchon.

This is worth a stop for dessert. We opted for the chocolate fudge and funfetti cake based on the recommendation of the girl behind the counter. We really enjoyed the cake- not too overly sweet and very moist. I think my only complaint was that it was really crumble-y. It hit the spot after dinner. We opted to bring it back to the room to eat because there aren't any tables outside the bakery to enjoy them.

I finally made it to this famous bakery, not the original, but still awesome to me. It was a blast to checkout all the cool treats. We ended up getting a few cupcakes and a few cookie sandwiches. The staff was friendly and professional and they had our order prepared quickly even though it was busy. The price was decent by Vegas standards, but I’ll have to admit the deserts were a bit of a disappointment. The cupcakes were dry and the cookies tasted like a standard grocery store item. I did have fun an and enjoyed everything but I’m afraid this a one and done for me. Hopefully I can get up to the original location one day.

We love to come here every time we are in Vegas. Alexander has helped us the last two times and is truly a pleasure. All of the staff is friendly, desserts are tasty and we have yet to be disappointed by the experience. Price is relative to how everything on the Strip is priced, no issue with that. Highly recommend checking out Buddy V’s across the hall too — both are great!
