Just had the best apple fritter of my life! Best donuts in town, consistently, hands down. Apple fritters are worth the cost and often times it’ll still be warm. Don’t sleep on whatever the daily special/seasonal donut is. Been coming here for years now and remember the pre-pandemic glory days where they stayed open into the night.

I work on the East side of downtown. We have a donut shop near us that opened about a year ago. I can't say much for it. I browsed Google for downtown indy donuts. Jack's came up, so I browsed their reviews. I've never set foot in the place, may never (it's too far to walk & it's now December), but....I can tell from the owner's responses to negative reviews that I'd like the guy. If you are a business owner, NEVER coddle losers who leave pointless, stupid, bad reviews. Put it right back in their face (like this guy does.) We may stop over there one day when we're already in the car and it will be mostly because of the way the owner (from the reviews, I think his name is Chris), stands up for himself.

Service was terrible but the donuts were delicious. No donut name tags of what stuff was and when I had a question, the lady was so rude and made my feel like an idiot. Still mesmerised by how soft this swirl donut was. The chocolate part was so soft. I don't understand. I want it for forever and it'll now be in my dreams.

Went twice! Checked the reviews and wanted to try! Disregard the sprinkle pic as I stuck my finger in it getting it out of the bag. The staff is friendly and the prices were amazing! Fresh and delicious!! Highly recommend and will be back!

Hands down my favorite place to visit daily. Chris works his butt off to make everyone happy and satisfied. Not only has he been understaffed since covid but he is there everyday! I enjoy his humor and the way he makes me smile. Coffee and doughnuts are always good. No matter what people write or say won't sway me, Chris's downtown Jacks is the only Jacks for me. He blows every other Jacks experience out the water.He had a customer and friend for life!

My daughter LOVES donuts and she has awarded this place like the BEST DONUT SHOP EVER! What I love about this place is the quality of the ingredients. I had never tried a filled donut with such a natural tasting jelly. You can actually taste the strawberries without a chemical flavor. Besides, the employees are VERY kind.

Awesome apple fritters. They are huge and have big pieces of apple. It's like eating apple pie and can be easily split between two. Also coconut donut has a cinnamon swirl center. This place make the center of Indianapolis just a bit more awesome.

Great service. I really want to love some thing other than their regular glazed donuts, but every time I order anything but, I end up regretting it. I ordered the cronut today and was bumming after the second bite. Just too oily. I tried to give my second cronut to my 14-year-old, but she took a single bite and dropped it back in the bag. She’s an insatiable donut fiend so that says a lot.

Fast, friendly service and amazing donuts! I love it because it’s the only place in Indy that offers vegan donuts, at least to my knowledge. I’ve never seen this place empty, so the non-vegan donuts must be great too.

Donuts are always amazing when I order them. I have never visited a location in person, but every time I've ordered from this location the donuts have been great! They sometimes don't send what I order which I assume they're out. It'd be nice to get a call or text if they need to swap, however every donut they've replaced has been amazing! The price point is great too. Love Jack's donuts! Highly reccomend the tiger tail bun and tiger tail like donut. (Don't believe it's actually called tiger tail) The donut holes are also really good!

PPE optional need more staff to assist a dozen of donuts was $19 and Latte in arrange of $9 on down depends on the size no picture .. disappointed with the cost, all of the donuts were put into a sack that, unfortunately, all the icing ones were all over the sack, so half of the donuts was ruined. This is a donut you would travel for. It’s the local place where you would expect to see cops eating donuts- and they seem to know donut shops better than anyone. I tried 4 different varieties including the glazed. This is good stuff. Anyone who gives this place less than 5 stars is crazy!

Jack is an a-hole! When I found out he was from Ohio it all made sense, but the apple fritters are to die for, and made it all forgivable! 5 stars all the way around. You must give this place a try! (P.S. he is really the endearing kind of a-hole)

Jack's stock had been pretty depleted by Gen Con, but the offerings remaining were still delicious. I had a glazed twist donut, which proved to be the perfect amount of chew combined with pleasingly shattering glaze. It was sweet without being TOO sweet. I also had a cappuccino, which was well prepared and quite warming. I'd love to visit again, just to have a chance for another taste!

This location needs to step up! The location in fishers has amazing donuts and decent service. But downtown?, the couple donut choices left tasted good, but if your open till late I would think at 3pm you would have bigger donut selection. Not only 3 varieties. Service was ok maybe. The guy was nice but spacey and inattentive. Didn't say thank you at end of my order, just walked away. He didn't seem interested and there was only 2 of us, so no line. I'll go back to fishers next time.

I first met the brand at a NUVO event that I was hosting. As a drag queen, they treated me like a goddess. I'll be sending my application to be their spokes person because I adore them so much!

Centrally located and easily walkable from many downtown hotels. Donut variety is sufficient and delicious! The blueberry glazed donut is amazing! ... as was the Boston Creme .... I don't think you could pick wrong. There pricing is fair. We are not coffee drinkers but I did notice they have quiet a selection of brews. I would like to see fruit for purchase, like bananas or apples here.

I'm sorry to rate this a 4. But they don't know what a chocolate yeast donut is. It is a lightly flavored yeast donut with chocolate and a hint of cinnamon and what made the original location in New Castle famous. PLEASE learn how to make this most wonderful treat!

As in don't Forget To fill up on Holes oThey are Guaranteed to Have no calories or fat or . The downtown location on West market street Between the circle and state Rotunda short little strip of this Street called market. Give me a shout if you remember markets Square arena! If you have never heard of itProbably like Bagels in protein smoothies instead of doughnuts anyway. Just don't forget to pay the meter if you are an inside even for a minute if you don't pay the meter maid will get you.

Fantastic doughnuts. Don’t go to Dunkin or the mass market places. This is good, raised doughnuts that are wonderful. Took one to go and you could smell it in the room all evening. Cool little shop in the heart of downtown. Keep places like this alive! Don’t give into the national chains!

1 word: cronuts. This place is amazing. Talked to the owner while we were there, and he is a really nice guy. We went right before close and he didn't treat us in way that most places would. He talked to us, was extremely friendly, and didn't make it seem like he wanted us out so he could close. I would happily go here again anytime I am downtown. Plus he has the best cronuts of all of the Jack's donuts(which you can't even get in Greenwood btw).

Downtown, your choices for donuts are either Dunkin or this place. Jack's donuts were fresh this morning, but selection wasn't very impressive and overpriced. If you have a car and cash, you should skip Dunkin and Jack's and go to Long's instead for a far better selection, higher quality, and cheaper donut. I really wish we had a voodoo donuts type of shop in downtown Indy.

I visisted this location on Friday the 15th in the eveining. The kids were happy to get to donuts. The Man working was not friendly and acted like we were bothersome. He was also rude to the kids, which ruined the kids happiness. He was also eating while serving others. The donuts were good as always, but the service was horrible.
