We ordered a bunch of different mini desserts for a wedding rehearsal dinner and they didn't disappoint! Everything was decorated in the style to fit the venue/colors, very delicious, and all the guests commented on the selection and taste! I will definitely be ordering again! Cannot say enough good things about the whole experience!

So impressed! I’ve never had a fancy birthday cake like this before. Don’t be like me—know your stuff before you go because they don’t play. The lady who waited on me—possibly the owner (definitely in charge)—seemed she was growing really irritated with my lack of knowledge. So many choices —cake flavor and icing choices, plus fillings, not to mention design. I was really nervous that it wouldn’t taste fresh/moist after waiting a day from picking it up. But that was no concern. Follow their instructions of letting cake sit at room temperature two hours. After that, even the fondant was edible—and delicious! The Italian crème was good. I just wish there was more raspberry filling. Be sure to book two weeks in advance. They are slammed. They have so many amazing looking cookies and cupcakes. This is my new go-to place for those sweet needs.

Ordered my daughters first birthday and smash cake with them and it was PERFECT! Everyone at her party told me how beautiful her cake was. It looked exactly like the photo I sent in. And it was delicious! I also bought macarons, Lemon squares, and cannolis at pick up and they were all sooo good. I know where we will be getting birthday cakes/treats from now on! Thank you!!

Fabulous bakery! I ordered a lemon meringue pie, and we all agreed it was the best we've ever had. The lemon part was not too sweet, not too tart, and the meringue was like a fluffy cloud. You could eat a piece and not feel like you ate a brick. The crust was light and flaky. Excellent all around. I'll definitely be back. The display case was full of delectable looking things that were hard to resist. I recommend stopping by!

I've yet to stump the cake decorators here at Suzybeez!!! I had several cakes made with them now and all of them have exceeded my expectations!! Their cakes also taste as good as they look! Their canolis' are bomb af too. The staff is always very friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to ensure their clients get what they want and are happy with the results!! As someone who has pretty high standards when it comes to cakes, Suzybeez should be your only choice lol!!!

I was needing help with a cake for my sons paw patrol party and they went above and beyond my expectations. I was texting all sorts of ideas and things I wanted to have done for the cake and they executed that perfectly. They were so friendly every time I made contact even when I would message late in the day or early in the morning. They made the deposit payment process very easy and quick. The pricing was great. And most importantly the cake was delicious! We did the vanilla cake and vanilla frosting and it was so good everyone liked it. I loved how they were able to create that smooth finish without covering the cake with fondant. I personally don’t like a lot of fondant and I was told by so many places before Suzybeez that the only way to achieve this look was to cover the cake with fondant. Suzybeez was able to give me both a sharp clean look and also make sure that we were able to enjoy the cake without a bunch of fondant. I’ll for sure be a repeat customer. Thank you Suzybeez!

My daughter requested a Suzybeez cake after trying a cupcake from Suzybeez at a graduation party. She loves the lemon cake with raspberry buttercream icing and wanted it for her Eagle Scout Court of Honor. Suzybeez suggested raspberry buttercream filling and white buttercream icing, since we wanted white icing covering the cake for the design. It came out great! We loved the design and despite it not having raspberry icing throughout, the raspberry taste was still noticeable even though the raspberry buttercream was only between the two cake layers. I have heard great things about this bakery. I am so happy I ordered a cake for my son’s graduation dinner from this bakery. I was nervous about traveling 3 and 1/2 hours with a 2 tier cake in this Texas heat, but I followed the instructions I was given and the cake arrived looking like it did when it was given to me at the bakery. This place is amazing!! I had my sons birthday cake made here for his first birthday. The cake was designed perfect and as soon as he tasted it, it was all over. He devoured half of his smash cake. If I could post a pic I would. Pricing was not bad either. I live on a budget, like so many others and I was surprised at the cost for such a good cake.

This is the second year in a row that I had Suzybeez Bakery create my daughter’s birthday cake, and they did not disappoint. I emailed them a picture of the cake she wanted, and they were able to duplicate it even down to the paper wafer butterflies. And not only was the cake beautiful, it was also delicious. My family and I have also had numerous other items from their bakery over the years (cupcakes, cookies, macaroons, brownies, cinnamon rolls, and brownies), but my personal favorite is their lemon squares.

I recently used Suzybeez Bakery for cupcakes for my sister in laws baby shower. She wanted the cupcakes decorated with buttercream succulents - they turned out amazing! The succulents were a bit more whimsical than her inspiration photo, which made them perfect for the baby shower! We also all really appreciated the little detail of the flowers being a combination of pink and blue, which we hadn’t specified. It was a thoughtful touch that made it feel like they had taken the purpose of our celebration into account when decorating the cupcakes. I like cupcakes so I have eaten at many of the bakeries in the area. Suzy bees is more of a homemade taste with that gourmet touch. The decor in the store is fabulous but I have to say my favorite treat at this place is not the cupcakes. It’s the stuffed chocolate chip cookies. Whoaaaa! They will blow you away. The owner is super fabulous and helped me wrap my cupcakes in a box with a pretty bow. I definitely recommend Suzybeez.

This bakery is amazing ! The baked goods here were very well made and looked perfect. The shop was busy but the staff were able to attend everyone and were very friendly and professional. I ordered a cookie , cupcake and macarons to sample a bit of everything and I was not let down. The cookie was buttery and soft, the red velvet cupcake frosting was so rich and the sponge complex and delicious. The macarons were the best price I’ve seen them at and they tasted better than any I have had before, flaky on the outside with a crispy shell and gooey and sweet on the inside, A+ ! The location has really good parking as well and they have the hours posted on the door as well as the safety precautions for entering. They also had hand sanitizer at the entrance which I took full advantage of. The prices are more than reasonable especially considering the quality of the bakes. It’s also very clean and the cupcakes even have their own special box to keep them protected and it has the logo printed on, it’s very professional. Highly recommended.

I used Suzybeez for my wedding cake and I was a little disappointed with the way the cake turned out. My wedding was Oct. 23, 2021 and when we did our cake tasting it went wonderful, we picked three different flavors, the mexican chocolate, ammaretto with strawberry filling and lemon with raspberry filling. All of the flavors at the cake tasting were great and everyone was nice, however when my wedding day came and we actually sliced into the cake we noticed that we were skimped on the filling! it was like whoever made the cake was trying to ration the filling out and there was only filling towards the center with the rest being buttercream. I thought about it for a long time before deciding to write this review, I thought maybe they were low on supplies or were just having a bad day. But honestly we paid good money for the cake and if anything why would you put little to no filling within the middle of someone's wedding cake. It really disappointed me and guests noticed too. The cake itself was delicious and luckily there was more than enough buttercream on the cake to even it out.

Originally, I was hesitant to contact them because of a few negative reviews...so glad I did! I had contacted 3 different area bakeries and they were the only one that consistently returned my emails and phone calls. I spoke at length on the phone with Jan, and she was so helpful and patient - speaking with me long past bakery hours. They were crazy busy those 2 weeks, but she still gave me plenty of attention. I ordered the cake totally over the phone, with her and her daughter's suggestions, and couldn't be happier. Because of the good service I was getting from Suzybeez, my niece ordered a cake for a baby shower to be ready the same day as my mom's cake. It was absolutely adorable! And the lemon flavor was wonderful. Five stars for all: customer service, appearance of the cakes, and taste!

The bakery at HEB does not make gluten free cakes but did recommend Suszybeez. I went there to order a cake for my wife's birthday. They were SO HELPFUL. They don't normally offer Hummingbird cakes in gluten free but after checking the ingredients they said they could do one. It was ready on time and the price was awesome for being a special make. This is a cozy little family owned shop in my old neighborhood. It has very good cupcakes and sweets, the only thing I don't personally enjoy here are the macaroons. The texture isn't like a regular ones with the slight chewyness in the cookie, it just has crunch. They're not bad just not the same. They have super cute cupcakes however and the flavors are always good! Those I would recommend.

Ordered a "Rainbow Cookie Cake" and Rice U. themed cookies for our son's college graduation party. I asked that the cake resmble the Italian-style, chocolate covered, tricolor rainbow cookies popular in the Northeast, where we used to live. Suzybeez had never made one but understood what we were looking for and agreed to do it. While the cake was taller than expected and the layers could've been half the thickness, there was no mistaking the flavor. They nailed it, almond flavored layers with raspberry filling and chocolate ganache frosting, everyone loved it. The cookies exceeded our expectations in appearance and taste. They icing was done by a pro and the sugar cookies themselves were fresh and buttery. I am a former long-time professional culinarian and can truly appreciate the dedication and endless hours needed to operate a first-class bakery or kitchen. Those efforts are evident in the final product. We will see Suzybeez again soon, I'm sure.
