Been looking for a good slice of cheesecake for a while. Found this place and I will say that this was genuinely great slice of cheesecake. I got a slice of strawberry. Preserves, frosting everything was great. No need for the Cheesecake Factory. You’ll be fine here. Will definitely be back. The owner is a good guy. Great job!

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and tasting these delicious cheesecakes today! They offer a variety of options for toppings and even offer vegan cheesecake! The owner (Kenneth) loves what he does and it shows in this dessert! We will definitely be coming back. BTW we did get cookies to go and they were delicious as well 😋

Found this place on the Black Restaurant Week website & decided to give it a try. I got a dozen of cheesecake for $35. I tried the flavors: • Turtle • Sweet Potato • Caramel Crunch • Strawberry • Cookies & Creme • Raspberry Rose Out of all of them, my absolute favorite was the Raspberry Rose & the Strawberry. However, all of them are delicious & the perfect bite size! & The space is available to rent for parties! Nice size space & very clean! I’d definitely return & try the other flavors I missed! I’d get a full cheesecake too!

Houston, you must get to Masterpiece Desserts. This place had some of the best cheese cake delicacies I have ever been around. There is a signature cheese cake that blew my mind and taste buds. It's called the sweet potato cheese cake. That was delicious and you can't miss out, Houston. Get here as soon as you can.

I'm going to start out by saying I'm not a fan of sweet potato foods. The sweet potato cheese cake they have though is amazing. I ended up buying a six different cheese cakes. It is hard to pick a favorite but that sweet potato cheese cake was something else. This place has my fat kid mark of approval.

Absolutely LOVED my cheesecake bites. The place is well lit, very clean and the owner is extremely welcoming!! The atmosphere was perfect. I purchased the 6 pack with the intention of sharing them with 2 other people. I DID share them but I wanted more because they were so delicious!! So this place is definitely overrated. The cheesecake was just ok. We tried all the standard flavors. We brought 6 home and the cheesecake was still slightly frozen. First red flag. The toppings for each one was average. Nothing special. Finally, this place is crazy expensive for what you get. 6 little pieces for $18? Next time I will just go to Cheesecake Factory. Much better value, and way better quality.

I visited Masterpiece Desserts today. I think I met the owner and he was really nice. The experience was so calming . The decor of the building inside and out was a whole vibe. Couldn’t take a better picture since we ate all of them but one before writing this review. This place is awesome and the cheesecake? Absolutely scrumptious, you literally can’t have just one! A quick in and out turned into a 20 minute convo with Ken, he told us his story and we were blown away! He’s so awesome and his people skills are top notch. We will definitely be back for Friday Karaoke and chill time with Ken and Of course more cheesecake! P.S. all the flavors were amazingly delicious but my favorite was the turtle pecan!

Came here for the first time; missed it the first time I drove by, ha ha, but turned around and found it. Had Sweet Potato and Red Velvet cheesecakes. Both were delicious. The Sweet Potato and Red Velvet had great flavor, aside from the cheesecake itself; I think it would be great if they added sweet potato pie and red velvet cakes to the menu! The staffer who helped us (maybe he was the chef or the manager?) was friendly and was glad to explain the menu to us. He mentioned they will add coffee and espresso beverages to the menu soon and we were glad to hear that! We will definitely be back!

This has been was one of my best finds in a long time! I stumbled upon Masterpiece Desserts this past Saturday when I was scrambling to come up with something to have at my boyfriend's 40th birthday party later that evening. He doesn't like cake so wanting something different that we could still put candles in and sing happy birthday; these mini cheesecakes were the best things ever!!! My whole experience with them was great; from the lady on the phone that I spoke with first, to the gentleman at the store when I picked up my order, to having folks show up at the party and trying to sneak a mini cheesecake before we sang happy birthday because they looked so good! Everyone loved these delicious bites and I will absolutely be returning in the future!

Came in to experience the “world’s most delicious” cheesecake as the sign states. Being from NY I have a high standard for cheesecake. I’ve had it homemade from little Italian women’s kitchens. From start to finish, this was a great experience that I’m glad we had. We were greeted in a very warm way by the owner (KB), the ambiance was modern and clean with a hint of the 80’s and 90’s pumping gently through the speakers. We ordered a dozen of the mini cheesecakes and were pleasantly surprised by all of the different flavors. KB engaged in friendly conversation with us and took great pride in his establishment. We will be back to support him and just to say hello as well.

I was up there today getting a tattoo right next door, & Ken the owner walked in to quickly speak to my artist. Before walking away Ken mentioned that he owned The Cheesecake shop across the way & to stop by.. & I actually love cheesecake so I decided to actually stop by. Let me say, I am so glad I chose to really check this place out cause everything was so good!!! I got Strawberry, Turtle & Caramel Crunch, 3 cute little cakes, all for only about $10-$12 bucks. Plus the shop is v. nice & clean while Ken was super dope & friendly the whole time. I definitely enjoyed everything about my experience today & I can’t wait to check more of this place out!

Let's Talk About Da Food

Listen, I was visiting from the sunshine state and one night I wanted some dessert. I clicked dessert on goggle and most places were closed but Masterpiece Dessert was open, so I made the 12 mins drive from my hotel. When I walked into the place it stuck out to me as the right place to get a great dessert. I was greeted with great customer service and before I even tried the cheesecake I heard the story of how this place came to be and it touched me then I ate one of the mini cheesecakes and let me tell you the flavors popped in my mouth. Loved the last bite just as much as the first bite and the sweet potato cheesecake is legendary! It was great speaking with the owner and hearing the story. If you visit Houston this place is a must! My new favorite place for cheesecake and when i need to satisfy a sweet tooth. The Turtle cheesecake was perfect richness, flavor, crust...everything. I had a taste of the strawberry and wish I would've gotten more of those because it hit the perfect tart/sweet combo. Ordered fresh from the oven cookies to go and had to stop myself from eating more than I should because of course they were also delicious. The place is clean with a great relaxing vibe. Greeted by the owner and learned they do large orders, parties, and have a food truck. Had to let him know, it was the best cheesecake I've ever had and not an exaggeration. Will definitely do again and will look for them the next time we do a big family event that requires someone to "bring dessert".

I stopped by this place to for a piece of cheesecake for my sons birthday. The service was great, the gentlemen at the front desk suggested fruity pebble, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Oreo for my ten year old. Im going to be honest cheesecake is never my go to dessert, they're usually bland and hard from other places. Not here! Best Cheesecake I have ever had. The fruity pebbles one tasted like a bowl of cereal 100X better. Can't wait to go back and try the premium flavors.

Found this place online by searching "deserts in Katy" & rolled up on a literal "Masterpiece"!! All the way from the owner meeting & greeting us down to the actually goodness of the cheesecakes at its finest, they freshly prepared & custom made them all right in front of us , all done in the comfort of a food truck ,how much better does it get than that? But as luck would have it when I moved to Jersey Village that Masterpiece Desserts would open a store down the street from me. Look at God! Been driving by this place everyday for the last couple months, I googled reviews and since they were good I decided to stop in. I wish I hadn't. The service was great, however the cheesecake was mediocre at best and expensive. I got the 6 pack with original, strawberry, 2 caramel crunch, turtle, and oreo. My total was $19.48. They are bite sized cheesecakes that come half frozen with toppings and the crust is too thick, totally not worth it. I was really looking forward to trying this place, definitely disappointed.

I finally got a chance to hear about this dynamic location after seeing it for a while on social media. The cheesecake selections were amazing. I got the 6-pack mini bites and I tell you they had everything for cheesecake experts and novices. I opted for the cinnamon toast crunch, turtle, and strawberry selections and they were all amazing and the cost were very fair. The young men providing customer service explained their process and were very respectful and as a bonus I got to meet and talk with the owner, Kenny--who had great conversation and information regarding his company and the other food trucks in the Rose Hill Beer Garden. I will be back, or better yet--they deliver!!!

Me and my daughter found this place on Google searching for "dessert near me ". We are so glad we came. The owner was very welcoming and the place was clean, and refreshing. We choose a 6pack for$18 . Our favorites were the strawberry and the red velvet. The apple pie was yummy too. All of the flavor were good. We also ordered a 6 pack of freshly baked oatmeal cookies... And when I say freshly baked.. I mean he baked them right there. Those we're the best oatmeal cookies I have ever tasted. Overall 10/10. I found this little gem sort of accidentally while looking at Google Maps for Korean restaurants in my area. I saved it as a place I wanted to go to and less than a week later, I was walking in the door. I love cheesecake but I've never been able to eat a lot of it at once just because it's too rich for me, but these little bites and their variety of flavors are so so so perfect! My personal favorites were the Bananas Foster and the signature Sweet Potato! Such great service and hospitality. Ok, one bite of these cookies and you will never order from any other cookie place again! Like they are seriously good and I’m super critical about food and desserts. Not only are these cookies flavorful, but they are just the right texture and they remain that way even after sitting out for days. They break apart with ease and they don’t have a buttery aftertaste or too much salt like some other places I know of 🙄🤣. Oh and the customer service is always top notch. Support a Black owned business! As soon as you walk into the door you are greeted with a big welcome from the staff. I loved the energy and he greeted everyone the same. If it’s your first visit he’ll give you the run down of all their options including their specialties. They have some really cute mini cheesecakes loaded with toppings. Some infused with liquor. Definitely allow them to defrost 30-40 minutes if you like yours smooth. I’m the kind of person that only does the simple cheesecakes (like people that doesn’t like alot of icing in their cakes). So I got their strawberry cheesecake. That way if I didn’t like the strawberry topping I could just enjoy the cheesecake. For me the strawberry glaze was very thick & sweet & may have overpowered the cheesecake for me. I would have loved that jam with some peanut butter lol.

The place is hard to get to and the flavors are just ok. 3 pack of mini cheesecakes is $10 plus tax and tip. they have premium flavors as well which cost more. Place is clean modern with lots of seating. There’s music playing on a big speaker. When we asked the cashier if there were any that weren't frozen he told us 'all of our cheese cakes are served frozen. Nobody's ever complained before.' Friday we went to the Rosehill Beer Garden the first food truck we saw was Masterpiece desserts! They were voted the best Cheesecake... ok we will see. This is one time where there was REAL TRUTH in advertising. I walked up and asked if they truly made the cheesecake. Kenneth told me his story. He had a life threatening asthma attack that left him in a coma for a while. When he left the hospital he came up with the idea of making cheesecakes. Never had he ever baked them before! He said he didn't even like cheesecake! The idea worked and he hasn't looked back. Believe me when I tell you these little cheesecakes are really delicious! A party in your mouth!
