3/7/2022 I was in the area and wanting a blueberry scone so I decided to stop in. Boo! No blueberry scones, only chocolate chip. Oh well, I got 4 ube rolls, an Ensaymada, and an adobo roll for $9.15. Asked about the scallion twists but she said they don't make them anymore. Another boo! Ube rolls were for the hubby so I don't know how they were but the Ensaymada was fresh and delicious. The adobo roll was just okay. Tender pork inside but not a real adobo (vinegary) flavor. Tasted like plain, shredded pork. 2/21/2022 Very few parking spaces in the front but we were lucky to snag a spot today. We were looking to pick up scallion twists because we haven't been able to get them from the Waipahu Nanding's. Unfortunately, the lady said that they didn't have them today. I ended up just getting an Ensaymada and a blueberry scone for around $4 and change. Ensaymada was soft and fluffy as usual! The blueberry scone was delicious as well.

I called the night before to pick up several dozens of Spanish bread. I was 15 min early at pick up time but the staff were on it. They were very fast and energetic! Spanish bread is very fresh and hot from the oven! It's very delicious. They have lots of other specialties too, pandesal, cheese pandesal, ube pandesal, ensaymada and many many more baked goods to mention, and always fresh! You must definitely try them when you're in the island!

In Kalihi with only 3 stalls. The pandesal and Spanish rolls are delicious. There were pecan cookie bar and onion hopia as special treats for tomorrow. Love it

Nanding's Bakery is my favorite stop for Spanish rolls. They are no longer 3 for $1. But, that will not stop me from buying from here. I always call in my order ahead. I purchased $40 worth, which comes in two boxes—a total of eight dozen (I think). I'll remember to snap some pictures next time.

Located on ocean side of Gulick street in industrial area. Small allowing two people inside at a time. Variety of pastries to choose from that be good for anytime of day with complimentary coffee if you go during morning hours. I recommend this place if looking for something to munch on.

I used to think this place has the best spanish rolls but not anymore after I had ones from BAD Bakers Natomas in Sacramento California. Any locals visiting or happened to be in Sacramento should try this place. Put Nandin to shame.

Now that I have been to the bakery I will never buy spanish rolls from 711 again. The spanish rolls r so much better at the bakery. Sorry 711 I will actually drive out of my way just to get them. Debbie K. Nanding's Bakery counter ladies friendly and patient. The Pandesal, Sweet Potato and Apple Turnover Blueberry Scone oooo so good. Manapua delicious. The bun has a good taste and lots of filling thats good too. Also the lup chong and Portuguese Bun was good too. They have a lot of different things to choose and everything looks onolicious. I will be going back.

A must visit bakery, although parking is limited. They have two other locations, one in waipahu, the other in Kapahulu, next to Zippys. The second and third locations have greater parking.

When I went to Honolulu the other day, I really wanted to eat, so I stopped by the nearby Ray's Cafe. There are 3 parking lots in front of the store. $1 for a Spanish roll (simple sweet buttery bread!)? /There are 3 sticks, but the staff at the shop can't understand Japanese at all, so when I asked for 5 in Japanese and English, 15 freshly baked rolls came out! (ﾟдﾟ)no~NO~! Hurry up and correct! But I'm sorry, so I reduced the number to about 9 (3 sets). Sorry for Japanese and English! ( ˃̶͈̀ロ˂̶͈́)੭ꠥ⁾⁾ But when you eat it, it's delicious and small, so if you two stayed there, you might have eaten about 15! ? The shops around here are local shops, so I can't understand Japanese at all, so if you can't speak Japanese, let's bring a poke talk! (We don't have one...) We are still working hard on google offline maps (for navigation) and translation! In addition, this area is not recommended after dark for security reasons! Anyone know of a cheap and delicious bakery like Nanding Bakery? Kansai if possible. m(_ _)m
