After all of these years, they are still the best place for donuts! Regular price (not outlandishly priced like all of the new places) for outstanding treats! I went as a child and still love Marge's today. Stellar customer service (they even added a maple glaze to a few cinnamon donuts when I asked if they had any and they didn't)!!

I needed a cake for my son's birthday party last minute, after another bakery canceled my order 15 min before scheduled p/u. The entire staff at Marge's Donut Den are wonderful, and they decorated a SpongeBob cake in MINUTES! It was from the case, and tasted same-day fresh. Thank you for always having that warm, welcoming service.

Best donuts in town! They are light and fluffy. I was charged 7.50 for 5 donuts. Go early, because they sell out of the filled donuts fast and don't seem to make more- it is disappointing to drive 30 minutes to see a depleted supply of donuts or just cake donuts. If you like the sweet buttercream frosting definitely try a Marge's cake! They are delicious. They also have decorated cookies.

This iconic donut shop on 28th Street has been around for 46 years! Marge’s Donut Den is the place to be for so many locals in the area! When you walk in you will automatically notice that this place is full of community. They sell a ton of donuts and have a huge selection to choose from—I had a hard time picking just 4! 🍩😋

What a busy fast paced donut place. Marge was actually there and chatted with her about the years and love she has put into her donuts and her community. Best donuts ever but get there early if you want a certain type...my fried cinnamon with chocolate and nuts were all sold out ☹️. I drove over from Jenison and was disappointed. They suggested a glazed donut with chocolate and nuts so I took 2. They were not the same but awesome none the less! I'll be back!

Marge is an amazing lady she works so hard to get us all the best treats!! She is always busy and is always putting in her hardest work. And I really appreciated that! I highly recommend the half chocolate half peanut butter cinnamon one absolutely delicious! PLEASE stop by and try donuts from here! It is sometimes better to call in a order because sometimes the cases get cleaned out because of how busy they get but if you are thinking about stopping in you should! While I was in there today on Father's day someone made a nasty comment to Marge and honestly I was very upset so if that man sees this you should be ashamed. That was very disrespectful and uncalled for. You think in this day and age that people would understand that sometimes stores get busy and sell out quick.

Marge's Donut Den, a community favorite. My husband remembers when the Neon Sign went up. I remember hanging out here when a teenager. The recipe remains the same, serving donuts made from a passion. See the smile on the face, the white apron, the talking among the customers. Marge's Donut Den it's not just about the donuts. Which by the way, are the BEST!!!!

I was there with a group of people. The place was pretty busy but the display space is large as well, multiple cases to gaze over and several customer service to attend all guests efficiently and they are patient as new visitors seek just the item they desire☺️. Lots of seating space as well to enjoy your treat, a drink(refrigerated case), and coffee too. Marge's has been around for a long time and I. Sure will be around for a long time future ❣️. Fast and friendly service and very clean/tidy facility. Donuts are tasty and there's quite a variety to choose from, as well as cupcakes and other sweets. Prices are reasonable. My only small complaint is that there was barely any filling in the eclairs. About 70% of the donut was missing filling.

Amazing customer service and a great product! I was in town for a client meeting and I wanted to bring some good donuts. I stopped in on the way to the client meeting and asked for 2 mixed dozen. They had it ready for me in less than a minute. They apologized for the credit card machine being down and took my information. I was in and out in under 5 minutes and my team and the client were excited that I brought Marge's donuts. Each donut is like Marge is personally giving your tastebuds a hug!!

It's Marge's. Nothing but greatness every time I go in here. The donuts are always so fresh that you swear they just came out. The staff is very friendly and happy. Marge is a treasure in the community and you should definitely stop by her bakery and hope she's there for you to meet. Get at least a half dozen because one is never enough and the next day they are still better than anything in the grocery store.

The only donut shop I’ll go to in town! Donuts are traditional with dozens of choices, made the old fashioned way. They even go out of their way to get the kids little toy rings if their donut doesn’t have one already. I used to wonder what all the hype was but then I met marge and her staff. It feels like you’re family when you’re there. It’s a well oiled donut making machine, run with kindness and joy, the way it should be!

I have always loved their donuts but this time I was very disappointed. The usual long John was not filled with the custard. There was barely a drop of custard for the whole long John. The fritter didn't have much flavor at all. I may try again some day. Hoping it was just an off day for them.

This place was seriously delightful! Arrived and there was a sizeable line but it was moving fast. The selection is enormous! For example, I asked for a cinnamon roll and was given 4 or 5 options to choose from. Everything looked and smelled like it had just been made. Coffee was delicious too! The friendliness of everyone in the place was like nothing I've ever experienced! Customers were laughing and talking to one another. People were opening doors for each other and the employees seemed to actually be having fun working! If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Oh, also, the prices were really low. It's Marge's donuts! I go here every Saturday morning I'm working, I usually get there around 415 in the morning, the donuts are fresh and I always ask them for 2 dozen cause well a dozen just isn't enough! My wife and 5 kiddos love them and can't wait til I get home to eat them, makes it a lot easier to have dad work at 3 in the morning on a Saturday lol! The ladies that are working in the morning are awesome! Just be careful, it's easy to buy more stuff than what you originally planned on, they always talk me into more than just the donuts!!

Very friendly staff and Marge was there when I was ordering at the counter. They didn't have these specific donuts I was looking for, so Marge made sure they custom made them for me! She also gave me a tour of the rest of the building, while providing me with the history of her business and her contributions to charity. A very lovely lady indeed and so personable!! Service was friendly, although the donut selection is somewhat limited. I tried the blueberry and the apple fritter and both were just ok. I'm a huge fan of apple fritters and this one was particularly bland, with almost no spices and very delicately iced. The overall impression I get from the decor and the staff indicate an incredibly conservative christian disposition in an immediately visible way. This does little to enhance the ambiance of the harsh white space, that feels somehow both musty and sterile simultaneously.

The prototypical friendly neighborhood donut shop. Polite and PATIENT, staff abound, the later quality being paramount when mental math, memory, and the inner child vying for sugar are fighting for attention. Donut selection is wide with every choice you'd expect, plus some more esoteric options. Yesterday, I sampled a glazed cake with an unexpectedly delicious and tempered strawberry flavor. Batter seemed to be mixed with strawberry, and strawberry bits can be seen inside. Donuts have been consistently great since my childhood. I believe they are baked fresh each morning. I don't think an employee has ever been told to use less X on a donut e.g. sprinkles/frosting, in the interest of saving money. Plenty of cafeteria style seating, beverages are available. I've never felt unwelcome to sit next to a stranger when seating was sparse. Seems to draw good-natured and friendly locals. Or maybe delicious donuts just bring out the best in everyone.

Love Marge's! This is a classic West Michigan establishment - they have been part of the community for many, many years. The donuts are excellent. The service is great. We love to stop by on a Saturday morning as an excellent way to start the weekend. It can get busy, but the line usually moves pretty quick.

Best donuts in the Grand Rapids area. The cream used in their cream-based donuts is delicious. I've even met Marge herself, who was nothing short of extremely warm and courteous. The atmosphere feels like a mom and pop shop from the 1950s, with plenty of seating in an adjoining room. There might be a line, but I've never come away without the donuts I've been after. Try the maple bacon donut, or the cream-filled. Both are amazing.

I grew up eating marges donuts and absolutely love it. Customer service is always great and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere! However, an employee whose name is Marilyn was not wearing a mask. And servings donuts and breathing all over peoples donuts. This is a pandemic we all need to our part. She was the only one I saw not wearing a mask and serving food? That’s a serious safety issue for the public.

I've lived 10 minutes away from Marge's Donuts for the past 2.5 years, but never stopped in until today, but I wish I would have stopped in sooner. I was looking to pick up some donuts the following morning for work and wanted to see the selection they had, so I wouldn't hold up the line. Even though it was near closing time and they obviously didn't have everything out, the two ladies at the counter were extremely helpful (I wish I had gotten their names). They gave me the list and described almost every style and flavor of donut they have (they have a great variety) in addition to other options such as muffins or pastries if I was interested. On top of that, they picked out a donut & muffin to take home and sample at no cost. Both were delicious. They also do decorated cookies & cakes. Thank you for providing great customer service and a delicious donut. I will be back.

My husband and I wanted to do something different for our wedding instead of a cake, and when we thought of doing donuts, Marge's was the first place to come to mind! We worked with Brooke to come up with a plan for what we wanted. She was extremely helpful, and we were blown away by all of the options they gave us. They even had a 3-tiered display for the donuts that they let us use for the day! Brooke also helped us with a small cake for cutting, and it was exactly what we wanted. At the reception, the donuts were a huge hit! Everyone was talking about how amazing they were and wanted to know where we had gotten them. My husband and I were already big fans of Marge's, but now we'll be loyal customers for life. This is the perfect place to stop in and grab donuts and coffee, but they also clearly know what they're doing when it comes to big events as well. Marge's is the place to go for all of your delicious donut needs!

Best doughnuts! I have been getting doughnuts from Marge's since I was a child and this is my favorite place for doughnuts. No other place compares to the quality taste and freshness of Marge's. I ordered 150 doughnuts as a late snack for my wedding and they were as delicious as always and were a big hit at the reception. I was able to place my order over the phone, the order was complete and ready on time the day of the wedding and picking up the order was very easy. The price was also very reasonable. I recommend Marge's for anytime you have a craving for a doughnut and also for any event.

If I could, I'd give Marge's 10 stars! When I did a radio show for WYCE (in the old community ed building), I would sometimes end a show with donuts. Good donuts and etc. However don't bother ordering custom cakes with trademarked characters/logos. Order a plain one and, do it yourself! I had tried to order a custom cake with a Muppet character on it, since my dad's nickname is Gonzo and, I understand that copyright laws are to blame, but they wouldn't do it. That's fine, but what bugged me was that, the lady working didn't even bother to offer a plain cake for me to decorate myself. I worked 3rd's at the time this happened, so I was too tired to even think about asking.

It'd be a 5 star rating, because I do love this place, but it's so crowded that one can feel rushed in to placing an order and not truly know what all is available. Nothing is clearly marked, and not everyone knows what certain items are.. Otherwise, the staff are nice and friendly and the product is a 10!
