Coffee is fine, nothing special, but the bagels themselves are excellent and earn them 5 stars! My go to order is the half bundle. 6 bagels and a tub of their flavored cream cheese (all of the flavors are good, but veggie is a standout for me!) It makes an outstanding breakfast/lunch to eat over a few days.

Very price friendly! A bakers dozen bagels and 2 tubs of cream cheese were just under $18! Service was fantastic. Bagels were good, and they have a nice variety of cream cheese.

Visiting the area and we tried another Bagel Beanery location a few days ago (Breton Rd SE) and they set the bar super high. Came to this location and found not all locations are created equal 🥴 The food was still great - the deficiencies were in the service and the establishment. Be prepared to wait for your order. The drive through stayed busy and seemed to take precedence over those ordering inside. Factor that in when deciding if you are going to go in or drive through. It isn't super quick, but the food will be fresh. Also the dining area had a weird smell to it that's off-putting.

Great coffee. Low sweet snack choices. Good service. YOU ALL NEED TO LEARN HOW TO CLEAN! The entry doors, lobby, tables and bathrooms were appauling. There were 4 employees in the back and all tables besides the barstool where i sat were disgusting!!! However the server was polite and the coffee was great. But seriously 😐 😒 🙄 clean the place people it is your livelihood.

My second time here and it is a really good lunch turkey sandwich. But let them know to toast your bread lightly because my bagel was almost way too dark for my liking. Other than that it is worth the money.

I actually used to work here years ago, and the quality is still excellent! I've never happened upon a more delicious bagel! Bagels are made from scratch, fresh daily. There are at least a dozen different types of bagels to choose from, and they are all phenomenal! All of the cheese-topped bagels are favorites of mine, as well as the Cinnamon Crunch bagel. I just took my fiancee here, and he keeps asking when we can go back to buy a dozen Cinnamon Crunch bagels. Their homemade cream cheese spreads are excellent as well! I recommend the sun-dried tomato and the honey brown sugar. *Chef's Kiss*

I really like this place - it's great for grabbing coffee and a sandwich, on the go or with others. However, they don't have WiFi and, this time, the bathroom was very dirty and completely out of toilet paper.. Meanwhile, the employees seemed to be having a good time goofing around instead of making rounds and keeping up on things.

You can’t go wrong with pretty much any of the sandwiches here.. they are all really good! My fav- the chipotle turkey. But the specialty hot coffees and iced coffees are not near as strong as I would expect for a beanery. They taste good, but are very very sweet.

this place has amazing bagels and their homemade(i think lol) strawberry cream cheese is fantastic. taking one star off because their iced lattes are lacking in quality but i think it’s because they’re only $2.50 for the summer so the employees are probably fed up making stupid lattes lol

always fast, Friendly, and clean. Never out of stock of things I request, and not a lot of oh huh? Ever when I order even threw the counter shield. Watch them build this location, and knew then it'd be around for years. Only negative thing I can say is its on a corner of busy street, so exiting is hassle. Many times I have had to exit to a detour back. That and the drive threw is crapped for bigger cars. Myself included has hit a wall scratching my car. No longer use that drive threw , seems like more of a inconvenience then a convenience. But more not things to say, then bad. So come on in

The focus here is speed and affordability, and it delivers in those regards. Though you are not going to mistake the coffee or bagels for a carefully crafted experience, there is a quite good variety of hot beverages and sandwiches. There is a convenient drive through option with reasonably fast and friendly service, but you better be a confident driver, because the space between the Bagel Beanery building and adjacent walls is very tight, evidenced by the paint and scrapes left behind by former drivers.

Usually service is fast and the food it always good. Great variety of bagels and cream cheese so you never have to get the same thing twice. The coffee is okay and sometimes the parking lots gets so full you cant get out.

One of the best breakfast places in GR!The staff is always kind. I always try to tell people who visit GR to go here. Their bagel sandwiches are amazing and in my opinion they have the best mocha frappe in the area

Good coffee and bagels but the sandwiches are way over priced, almost $9. The drive through is absolutely terrible to navigate. It is way to narrow.

It isn't too bad . Nothing amazing after trying a few menu items now. Unfortunately not the quality or TLC put into their meals as other bagel restaurants in neighboring towns/cities, but there is a lack of competition in GR in the scene right now So for what we have, it does okay. I don't think anyone would have a bad experience by any means but alas, they may not always have a great one.

I love Bagel Beanery, the sun dried tomato cream cheese is my favorite. Completely unrelated, does anyone know how to get in touch with the owner? I'm with a film crew that needs to park some work trucks in the vicinity of College and Michigan and there's an empty parking lot adjacent to the west of Bagel Beanery I've got my eye on. Anyone know who owns it?

More or less an Institution™️. However, (and I gotta say it), there are better places to get bagels in GR now, and Bagel Beanery is not the place you want to go for great coffee. It'll caffeinate you, but you probably won't enjoy it. My suggestion is to get a cappuccino (non-traditional, more Starbucks-proportioned capp if anyone cares) and a breakfast sandwich. That's the sweet spot that keeps me happy when I inevitably squeeze through that godforsaken drive thru lane at least once a week.

This establishment has the best bagel breakfast sandwiches and the best lattes in town. I would leave this as a 5 star rating but recently my orders have not always been correct! Still a great place for breakfast/lunch. Edit: I have to amend my review to 5 Star! Still the best lattes in town.

I love bagel beanery, however I was very upset today about the one on Michigan. I put my order in and watched at least five people go behind me get service first. I waited at least ten minutes. I guess they have favorites or something. I think they should serve as they come not do favors in front of everyone..

Best chai tea latte I've ever had and I thought I made them well myself, the Mac n cheese is also the best I've ever had. Awesome place overall it's clean the staff is cool and the food is great.

Best bagel I've had in a long time. Had a americano coffee (a good dark but smooth roast) bagel (cream cheese and butter toasted) and sat outside on the tables enjoyed it thoroughly. And charged my phone in the outdoor outlet conveniently by the table, which was My reason for going in the first place lol. Surprisingly I also found a great bagel place. Only suggestion would be if you did a bagel cream cheese lox and tomato slices.

Love this place. If you're going to get more than 3 bagels, you're better off buying half a dozen with a tub of cream cheese. Great selection of bagels and coffee. Just make sure you don't scrape the brick wall in the drive through. Haha. Great service inside and at the drive through.

Amazing food. I'll have to go back and try a hot breakfast bagel though. I was a little disappointed to see that the California Turkey was cold but maybe I missed that in the description because you can hardly read it. Can you please out some defog on the glass? It'll cost maybe $12 in product and I'm sure less than that in labor. Simple fix, please resolve.

Amazing breakfast sandwiches. Breakfast classic bacon and cheddar on cheddar herb bagel, every time. I love it. The lattes are great too! I wish the drive thru wasn’t soo tiny. It’s my favorite fast place to grab breakfast on the go!

If you like a good sandwich and latte, Beagle Beanery is your place. My favorites are the Marbled Mocha Latte and the All American Club on an Apple Crisp beagle. Staff is upbeat and friendly. Facilities are well kept and casual. Food and drinks are great. I have to limit my caffeine intake due to health issues. So I do coffee once per month. I'd say Beagle Beanery is a wonderful way to reward myself for living in a crazy would for thirty days between coffees. Oh and once more thing during Thanksgiving do their pumpkin spice latte. If Heaven has a taste, that would be it.

Best bagels in Grand Rapids. Coffee is fairly bland, but they knock it out of the park with their bagels. Also have great break sandwiches (no doubt good because they put it on their bagels). Interior has some seating and drive through is fairly small and close to walls. Overall great experience, friendly staff, and the bagels make me keep coming back.

Best breakfast sandwiches in Grand Rapids. Their classic ham and swiss and San Jose are my frequent favorites, but all are on high quality bagels with solid cream cheese. Good mix of savory and sweet on their menu. Their coffee is basic but consistently smooth and in no need of extra doctoring. The bagel beanery has, in my mind, one of the best offerings of fresh made bagels available any place in the city. They also make a good cup of coffee, many varieties of which are available. I also enjoy their many sandwiches that they make fresh for you at your request. You can put any combination of cheeses and meats with any combination of fresh made bagels. Excellent! If you haven't tried it yet you owe it to yourself to do so ASAP!

My absolute favorite place to stop for a bagel and coffee in GR. Quality bagels and cream cheese, you definitely feel like you're getting your money's worth. I have to limit myself to only stopping here once a week... My go-to is salsa pepper jack bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese. SO. GOOD.

The coffee is pretty good. It's very close to the medical mile and that's definitely a plus. The location in proximity to two very busy streets however isn't ideal. The bagels are great but last time they put cream cheese on mine, it was way too much.

Great selection of bagels and coffee. Friendly staff. Drive thru is a bit tight, so don't drive your large truck thru, or you might get stuck. Curbside delivery is an option during coronavirus. Inside has always been well kept too.

Some of my favorite bagels and coffee in Grand Rapids, but I unfortunately can’t give 5 stars because the service isn’t always the best, and I’m not fully sold on all their sanitary practices to be completely honest. More than once I’ve seen them use my personal cup to scoop ice into it when I’ve asked for ice water in the drive thru. I usually end up with a fair amount of coffee grounds in my brewed coffee, which is a bummer because the coffee itself tastes amazing. My favorite is the Breakfast Blend or Kona. The food is always really good. The bagels are soft even after being toasted, and they don’t skimp on cream cheese! If you get a breakfast sandwich, I recommend the Breakfast Duo on an Asiago Cheese bagel.

Love their Vanilla Bean Latte. Super yummy food with fairly quick service. The only downside is the lack of parking and the squeeze in the drive through. Whatever you do do not take a large car or van through the drive through. Seriously just don't. The environment is clean and they have a public restroom.

The bagels here are classic, perfectly made examples of, simply, bagels. They do get creative with their specialty bagels, apple cheddar, cinnamon crunch, and these are also good, but if you're craving a classic flour - yeast - salt - boil - bake bagel, this is the place for you. Their coffee is fine. I've never tried their sandwiches. The standout here is the classic, simple bagel.

I don't know what I like more here... The smoothies, Chai lattes, or breakfast bagels! Everything here is great. The atmosphere is really nice as well. Good spot to pop open the laptop, grab a coffee, and get some work done.

DJ makes the best smoothies, hands down. We don't call him "the blender defender" for no reason. I would consider myself a regular here because they've given me no reason to go anywhere else. Great service, atmosphere, staff, and food. The only true downside I've found is that it's a tad expensive... Which honestly doesn't bother me. I am paying for all aspects of the business and have absolutely no complaints. Keep it rocking BB!!!

Food is great but if you drive anything bigger than a smart car do not try and and use their drive thru There's no warning about how narrow it is and I had less than an inch of room on all sides of my truck and it took 3 times going back and forth to make it through
