We stopped by to get some bread and cookies for a family member who is gluten free. The selection was awesome and the staff were super helpful. Later, after trying the gluten free hotdog buns the person we bought them for said “they taste just like regular hotdog buns!” She couldn’t tell the difference. Which if you’ve been eating gluten free you know is practically a miracle. I highly recommend you give them a try.

Amazing place! Very nice inside with lots of options from the kitchen as well as to go meals and snacks. It is the only place I get gluten free buns from they are my favorite glad a place like this exists. The call in order options are the best so thankful as I live far out of town and this reassures me I will get what I came for.

Delightful! We just heard about Mehl’s Bakery and decided to try it out since I need a GF diet due to health issues. It doesn’t even taste GF or dairy free and is absolutely delicious. We will be coming back!

Being in canada, I don't often get the chance to visit Mehl's. I am very thankful there GF flour is available online. Makes a great substitute, and with all the recipes they provide on their website I am constantly finding new favorites. If you are able to visit in person, I highly recommend their chocolate chip cookies! Thank you again for serving the GF community, I hope to see you in person again soon.

This is a great Gluten-Free bakery. They even have many dairy free and vegan choices. They also serve lunch. I had the chicken fingers and tots. They were really good. They have their own branded flour and sell it right in the bakery. I definitely recommend this place.

BEST Gluten Free bakery I've been to. I drive 1.5hrs just to come here. My husband and I ate lunch there for the first time and the chicken strip sandwich was beyond delicious and I can not wait to go back for another lunch date! Whenever I'm in Fargo, I make it a point to stop here and get some goodies ♡

So much to offer people who eat gluten free! One of three of us must eat GF, but we all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. We also had cupcakes and cookies to go—all really good. Wish I lived nearby!

I can't say enough good things about this place. They offer the most moist and delicious gluten free white bread, muffins, cupcakes, etc that I have ever had. My family and I have been G.F. for 9 years and this is by far the best. Also, their flour blend you can buy is SO good and they have many recipes on their website you can use and they turn out great. We also really enjoy the fact that they have sandwiches, hamburgers, and chicken strips that you can go in and order. It is so nice to have an allergen friendly place that all of my children can go and eat at without worry of reactions!

This is the most amazing bakery. It is 100% gluten free. This is the only place I can buy premade food for my daughter because she has a severe rare disorder that makes her sensitive to cross contamination. I am deeply grateful. Please support this place and buy whatever you can from here. We are from Bismarck so we don't get here often but we come ever time we are in town.

Mehl's is a must try for anyone looking for gluten-free options! Their massive cupcakes and muffins are amazing... even the gluten eaters in our family love them! We always pick up a loaf of bread when we're there. The pizza is excellent, dine in or take and bake, and they even have a gluten AND dairy-free option. Clean, friendly, and a great value!

Love the English Muffins!, I refrigerate or freeze as like all gluten free bread will mold quickly. Wish your muffins didn’t all have a strong cinnamon base to them. Bought blueberry and was hoping for a sour cream blueberry taste but was overwhelmed by cinnamon. Sadly they all taste the same no matter what different ingredient you add ex pumpkin chocolate chips with more cinnamon , nope sorry.

My husband and I stopped by hoping to find something yummy. Boy did we!! We got cupcakes, cookies, English muffins, and bagels. I've never felt a GF bagel that wasn't so dense you nearly lose teeth. These are soft and smell SO good. (Same for English muffins.) The chocolate chip cookies were soft and so good. My husband said, "if I didn't know these were GF, I wouldn't guess. They are every bit as good as homemade wheat filled cookies." I ate a turtle cupcake and was instantly in heaven. I've been to many gluten free bakeries, but this one takes the cake (no pun intended!) The cupcake was so light, fluffy, and full of flavor. So many other GF bakeries hide lack of flavor with overwhelming sweetness in a dense oily product. Mehl's cupcakes are the best GF I've ever had. Go, get some goodies and have a happy tummy!!

While i am not Gluten sensitive myself my girlfriend is and she loves this place, the bread tastes like actual nread and (her favorite thing) the bread actually toasts not just drys out. Also great bagels/biscuits, she uses them as burger buns. But the best part if this place is its confectionery counter. The tasties are so good, they have Gluten free, dairy free, Nut free, etc. and they are good as cupcakes/cookies by themselves.

I’m SO glad that a year ago I randomly tried Mehl’s pancake/waffle mix (found at a local grocery store). I had never heard of them before — and now, they are our FAVORITE waffle mix! It’s astounding how Delicious this gluten-free mix is!! I’ve tried maaaany GF mixes (I have an autoimmune disease) & this one is the BEST! So we ventured into their local shop in person to see what they all had — OH MY GOODNESS!! 😍 It smells SO GOOD!! Literally couldn’t stop smiling when I first walked in 😂 been there twice so far & I wish I wouldn’t visited their store sooner! We’ve tried their cookies & WOW!!! Other than the fact they’re gluten-free, they are BETTER than store bought or homemade cookies!! They’re also nice & big, so you get your money’s worth. Also have tried their bread & it’s Delicious!! So it’s soft & huge, with nice macro’s too for the size. Pizza - also tasty!! I’m SOOOO SO SO SO GLAD I found out about Mehl’s! Thank you for offering the BEST Gluten-Free products I’ve ever tasted!💗

Love that it is 100% gluten free. I have to say that the desserts were better tasting then the bread. I did get the frozen white bread and when I got home from traveling, it was very crumbly, couldn't even make a sandwich out of it. When I put it in the toaster it was much better.. maybe its better fresh and not frozen. The English muffins were tasty toasted as well and those I got fresh. They mislabeled the date though, had that it would last an entire month vs a few days. I had a ginger cookie thing with frosting in the middle right away and that was 😋. If I do make a trip to Fargo again I will have to try the 🍕. And more of the desserts of course.

Love Mehl's Bakery! As a celiac, it's hard to find options that taste good - but Meh's Bakery delivers on taste! If you didn't know it was gluten-free, you would never guess it was! Everything is so moist and delicious. Definitely a treat for us anytime we go into Fargo. We have even had people drive out there for us to bring it to Canada - it's definitely worth the trip! Also, love their bread and sandwiches - so good!

On a road trip from NC with our three children!! What a paradise! You should have seen their little faces light up. It was such a treat for them to get breads, caramel rolls, cookies, cupcakes, bagels, and more. As a mama, it was such a treat to offer them that experience. Very affordable prices! Delicious food! I used to have a popular gluten free blog and I know gluten free food and baking. These folks get it right! Will be working their mixes into our monthly budget! These folks rock! The owners are very kind. What a wonderful service they provide to the community!

Thankyou so much for the amazing cakes that you made for my Mother's 70th Birthday. Traveled from Idaho and had ordered cakes ahead of time to be picked up. Cakes were exactly like I requested and ready to be picked up on time. All gluten free and so good no one at the party knew except the person with Celiac. Wow. Being able to walk into a bakery and not having to think about what options I have that are 100% gluten free (due to Celiac's and other intolerances in myself and my family), was amazing. They had a lot more options than I've ever had the opportunity to experience. The owners and operators of this establishment all suffer from gluten allergies too, so they GET it. Everything is guaranteed to be gluten free, and they have a decent number of no-dairy, no-nut, and I noticed some no-say options as well! I ate lunch there with a friend who remarked that if she hadn't known her chicken dumpling soup and cookie were gluten-free, she wouldn't have been able to tell! I had a chicken strip baskets for the first time in ages, and they were nice and crispy! There were several options of dipping sauce (gluten free as well, of course), and I highly recommend the sweet and sour one! After eating, I bought a few items to take home with me and make meals at home! I intend to stop by here anytime that I find myself in Fargo!

I just moved here from Washington state and was nervous about not finding a Gluten Free restaurant. While a lot of restaurants are getting better about what they offer, there is something about being able to go to a restaurant and order anything off the menu that makes you feel not so left out and rather excited. I went to Mehl's from some online research and I am glad I did. Not only was the food good, but it was reasonably priced as well. Gets tiring when you go places and they upcharge quite a bit for supply and demand and the extra work of the staff. I was pleasantly surprised by the options, so much so, I ended up leaving with 4 bags of food to eat right away and food that included breakfast sandwiches, angel food cake, caramel rolls, cupcakes, spinach tortilla wraps, cookies and blueberry muffins, and it didn't break the bank either! And I must say, the cupcakes are the best I have had that are gf, and I have tried many places. I have tried almost everything thus far that I purchased and I am happy with all of it. Definatly will be back at least once a month. Thank you Mehl's for your restaurant. 💙

Mehl's offers a wide range of Gluten Free and other alternatives for typical allergens. With an SO who struggles with Celiac's to find good options for food eating out, Mehl's exceeded our expectations with multiple options for her to have. With delivery options also available, a call will be guaranteed within the next couple months. If you're in Fargo, you've gotta try this place.

Great flavors, especially considering the care taken to avoid or limit the use of common ingredients (such as soy, wheat, egg, nuts) that are problematic for some folks. Mehl’s also accommodated a last minute cake order and allowed for early pickup even though the store wasn’t open - made for a great birthday surprise for a group of guests that included people with celiac and vegan dietary requirements. If only there were a Mehl’s where I live!!!

Mehl's is THE best- hands down for gf/df goodies! It was my birthday a few weeks ago and I called the day BEFORE if they could send cupcakes and icing to me in Bismarck- and they did!! The cupcakes arrived on time with plenty of icing in a tub. Wow, such great customer service and for a reasonable price! Now... it's time they opened a location in Bismarck, lol!

I believe the owners are brothers who are allergic to gluten and lactose. So it's easy to understand why they care so much about how their products taste; they have to eat it. I suggest the thick crust pizza, caramel rolls and cupcakes/cookies. Also, the entire staff was kind and helpful. One of the owners even gave me a pamphlet on celiac disease and options for preparing meals. Awesome place, I go to mehls at least one a week.

We have many severe food allergies in our family, it is so nice to have somewhere to go out to eat without having to worry about a reaction. Truly great food and amazing, knowledgeable staff! Never have had a problem with my very food sensitive son. We drive 45 minutes to Fargo, just to go eat here or get some baked goods to bring home.

My brother and I were so excited. I felt like a little kid. I was able to shop without reading labels, something I have not been able to do for years. I easily recognized name brands and even found a frozen version of some local comfort foods. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable and we got free cookies for coming in for the first time. After years of just suffering without things it was nice to get a taste of convenience food that doesn't make me sick

So I ordered a pumpkin pie sometime last week and picked it up today Wednesday, Nov 20, This pie tastes so velvety and rich, I swear if you did not know it was baked in a bakery you would have guessed mom made it. My husband was diagnosed as a Celiac in 1988 and he suffered for years as we tried to bake gluten free pastries and breads. Now all you have to do is go to Mehl'd Bakery & Deli. They prepare sandwichs and soups and also have baked goods or mixes for just about anything you've been craving at reasonable prices. We recommend it.

Just drove through fargo and heard of this shop. I am very restricted in what I can eat and was beyond pleased at all the amazing options they had for me! Everything I bought was the best gf/df version I'd ever had. The donut holes were definitely my favorite. There was only one problem with this shop... it's located in ND! Please move to Utah!

A GF cafe with food options that you don’t always find in GF cafes, like chicken fingers and fresh pizza alongside sweets. The sweets I had (cupcake and a cream-filled sandwich cookie thing) were tasty, moist, and worth the calories. The chicken fingers and tater tots was exactly what I wanted after days of driving and eating healthy picnic lunches (ah, the life of the GF traveler during COVID). Edit: came back already. The white bread loaf is one of the softest GF white sandwich breads I’ve found. Straight up comfort food.

I can not give this bakery a high enough rating!!!. I have been using their products for 2 years. Not only do they have a great flour that I use on a 1:1 ratio; but their mixes are awsome. My most favorite cake of is Angry Food. They have an Angelfood to beat all the others out there. Give Mehls a try. I am glad I did.
