I popped in late in the afternoon hoping to grab a dozen cupcakes, and when I got here realized I should have come earlier- the cupcakes are delicious and the secret is out- so they were almost out of cupcakes for the day. The amazing lady working said that if I could wait for a few minutes she could go pull from tomorrow’s cupcakes, and she went to the back and put together an incredible assorted dozen for me. I am so, so appreciative and was blown away by the customer service.

We stopped in yesterday for the first time. At first I was a little surprised by the lack of selection but figured you don’t need a large variety if your product is good. We got a monster cookie, a milk bread cinnamon roll, a double chocolate cupcake and a some sort of banana cupcake. The monster cookie and milk bread cinnamon roll were fantastic. Sadly the double chocolate cupcake was vey dry and the flavor was bad. My boyfriend had the banana cupcake and he did not care for it as well.

I went for their Midnight Munchies event, ordered 2 cup of noodles and a sticky mango cocktail.... SO good! I could drink 10 of those sticky mango drinks :) such good vibes I will definitely be back!

I recently worked with Crème for my wedding, we ordered a small cake and cupcakes from them and everything was amazing. Whitney was so easy to work with, she answered every question I had and made the process so easy. Our wedding cake looked exactly as I wanted and both our cake and the cupcakes were delicious. My mom cannot eat gluten and she really enjoyed their gluten free cupcake, I'm glad they had that option available!

The place was okay. I was really interested to try their desserts. I had the chocolate torte and my friend had the cheesecake. The cheesecake was good, the torte was okay. The drinks I wasn't really fond of. I had the Spanish coffee and the taste of cinnamon was too overpowering for me, so I couldn't finish it. However, the ambience was nice, and the staff was friendly.

I purchased the red velvet cupcake and a pumpkin bar. The red velvet cupcake was to dance and overcooked. Without the frosting it was completely inedible. The pumpkin bar was exquisite! It was moist with just the right amount of frosting! Highly recommend the pumpkin bar avoid the red velvet cupcakes blah. The staff was very friendly and efficient.

Went there on Friday. Just a heads up. Was told if you wanted a cupcake you need to order it 3 days in advance. Cocktails need to be ordered the day before. Masks are required, which is fine, but none if the above information was on their website. Shame. I was there 2 years ago and was hosting a training conference near by and wanted to check it out to recommend for our attendees.

Had a vegan version of German chocolate from here and I’m eating it again as I write this. It’s beautiful. It’s delicious. It melts in my mouth. I’m not vegan and LOVE my sweets. But this was my hubby’s birthday cake and he IS vegan, thus the need for a vegan cake. I will order here again every time I need a cake. Thank you!

There are delicious dairy free options, and I don't feel like I'm missing out on such rich flavors as I have had both dairy filled and dairy free. The staff is helpful and I come here for all my sweet tooth cravings. The prices might seem a bit steep at first, but just try one dessert and you will just taste the quality.

Happened upon this little jewel after having dinner and couldn’t believe the delicious selections they offer here. There was a wide array of choices for cupcakes but I was completely surprised when my date said he’d take a shot of Jameson and with a smile, the server obliged. I was shocked at the genius of having the perfect spot for a nightcap and ordered one of the best gimlets I’ve ever tasted. I just don’t think you can go wrong here!

This bakery is a great spot for high-end baked goods. The specialty cupcakes are interesting and come in a variety of tried-and-true flavors. Great place to go after dinner in the Ingersoll avenue business district. Always clean, but has some limited hours and is expensive for cupcakes. Good place to pick up cupcakes for a small group, but certainly not cheap.

I was pleasantly surprised. Although I heard they had been on a TV show, they seem to still have a professional, yet local feel. I tried a couple of desserts - the flourless chocolate cake, and a seasonal cupcake, both of which were very good. Although it is a more expensive choice for dessert, it's not an unreasonable price is a very nice atmosphere. I will definitely return!

Delicious cake!!! We ordered chocolate cake for our daughter's first birthday. The layered cake in pink and white color looked beautiful and matched well with the birthday theme. Everyone at the party enjoyed the cake. :) their cakes are slightly over priced but worth spending for occasions like this.

AMAZING!!! BEST Chocolate Torte EVERRR! This one came with Almond frosting! Never in my life!!!...who knew to add my all time favorite, almond paste/almond frosting to an already unbelievable dark chocolate flourless cake!! TOTALLY PERFECT! If you have not had the chocolate flourless torte from Creme, you. are. missing. out. This is probably my favorite dessert in all of Des Moines. Although everything I've had here is amazing, well balanced, and thoughtful. Wonderful customer service and attention to detail. A great stop for a date night or a girls night. Lots of gluten-free options. Also, follow their instagram for tons of appetizing photos of cupcakes.

Has a limited vegan (ready made) selection it seems. I only ever see 1 rack of vegan cupcakes. Other than that, this I Place always delivers on the best vegan/GF cakes, I'm never disappointed in the taste a quality. I have never sat in to eat or order from their menu, but from what I read of it, there's not a lot to order on there either if you are vegan.

Finally decided to try it & it was ok. We both ordered mocha lattes with frangelico. Couldn't really taste the chocolate let alone the frangelico. They were out of creme brulee, shared the banana bread pudding or was ok. Not terrible but not so good i'm rushing back. Service ok.

I had a family member from out of state visiting me so I decided to make a trip here with her as she loves “Cupcake Wars”. While we came in 35 to 40 minutes before close to pick up some cupcakes to go, the staff was rude. She had already put most of the desserts and cupcakes away and made a comment about it even though we had plenty of time before 9. She did not offer to let us choose from/tell us what she had already put away and instead only let us choose from what was still in the case. We tried to speak to her and engage conversation but she was very short with us and offered no help in picking out any cupcakes. My only wish is I hadn’t picked up six subpar cupcakes to go with the less than thrilled experience the lady at the counter provided. To say I’m disappointed in this visit is definitely an understatement.

I purchased 3 dozen cake truffles for a function tomorrow night. Tried one tonight and it seemed like they were raw. The cupcakes I bought Saturday were delicious. I’m nervous to serve these truffle cakes to my guests.

Really busy on a Saturday night around 7pm. The chocolate torte was delicious, just a bit more than I needed. It was pretty loud with that many people in such a small space. Without an entry way it was chilly inside (had to keep our jackets on).

Was pretty disappointed in the cupcakes I tried here. I went in alone and just wanted a coffee and cupcake and the staff was nice enough but didn't take the time to talk about the choices even though I tried to engage with them. The cupcake I got was a little dry and overly sweet. I was just expecting more from a specialty place. Probably won't return. It's a cute place to take your kids though.

They have Absinthe, which is awesome. They brought it out to me and let me pour the ice water over the sugar. Cupcakes were moist and flavorful. It was a busy Saturday night there, but the staff was great, friendly, and very quick.

I have been to Creme Cupcake a few times, and every experience is perfect. They are always updating and adding new flavorful items. This is a perfect place to take your 10 year old for a special treat, or to go on a special date with your special somebody, both of which I've done.

I had an episode where I was voraciously eating a cup cake (Lemon with raspberry filling) 8-d It's in a good location and great employees. Bathroom was acceptable, which I appreciate very much. 5/5. Just keep some lemon raspberry hangin around for me or you'll be dealing with one Hangry individual! 😏

I understand why people say that it seems like the wait staff hates you. I worked the restaurant business before and to me it's seem like they are busy trying to get things done, and once your working you get really focus on what need to be done. In my opinion, the gentleman at the front counter was very helpful. I came in with no ideas and he walked me through every step, gave me pity of options, showed me the displays, answered all of my questions and when it was time to pick up my order he showed it to me and made sure before I left the store I was ok with what I ordered. I ordered a cake. It's been a very long time since I had cake this damn good. Wow 👏👏👏 Only bad thing is the parking sucks and I seen your social media page. I think it would be good to advertise your Facebook In the store it might help give people an idea of what they want before they enter the store.

I was taken there by a friend. Who bought a lemon cupcake the only thing I thought was bad was the fact they cost 3 dollars for a single cupcake but the taste was so amazing that I wondered if my life was complete I would not recommend eating them while driving but for sure you should try one
