Oh my gosh this is just the cutest little chocolate shop. I wish the signage was a little bit better because we almost just drove by it thinking it was a house. Obviously this place has been around for a while and I can see why. It's got the best selection of chocolates. It also has a lot of little gifty things as well. Definitely stop by if you're a chocoholic. The prices seem reasonable and they obviously do good business as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a chocolate fix or a last-minute gift.

I was excited to try this place. Was highly recommended by a few people I know. I’m not from Iowa, so I had never heard of it before. Went for the first time to buy some client gifts and stocking stuffers for my family. The little house is adorable and they had a very nice selection of products. My daughter loved the cotton candy section and we purchased 5 or six different flavors. They were all tasty and fun. The prices are pretty high, but it’s local, so I don’t mind paying more. I’m by no means a chocolate connoisseur, but I was expecting the chocolate to taste a lot better then it did. To me, the chocolate is Mediocre at best. Cute place though.

They make the best cotton candy! Most cotton candy flavoring tastes artificial, but not at chocolate storybook. I can tell a lot of care goes into their products. It doesn't hurt that shipping is fast too!

Great little local candy shop. I recommend this place for gifts for any occasion. They’ve got a wide variety of candies, so you’re sure to find something that tickles your fancy.

Love love love their cotton candy. They come up with interesting flavors. You can also buy them on Amazon. What I don't like is that on the website is 27 dollars for their packs but then 35 on Amazon. That upcharge is really gross to me. I'm not a big fan of the alcohol flavors just not my jam. Banana the caramel apple and buttered popcorn is pleasant.

Been coming here since I was 6 years old. I have a 9 year old daughter to share the magical experience every single time. My daughter loved the chocolate orange peels while I myself love the turtles and toffee. We love everything about this place. The staff is super nice every single time!

The chocolate is delicious & I'm picky about chocolate. I ordered custom boxed chocolate for gifts last Christmas. The process is very smooth. Chocolate samples were sent promptly, quick & clear communication with Steve regarding design, beautifully packaged product that arrived on time & exactly as described. Will be returning for future gifts. Highly recommend these chocolates!

My favorite candy store! The pecan clusters are to die for and my very favorite is the white raspberry chocolates. Their milk chocolates with varied centers are so delicious and melt in your mouth! Love buying for myself and gifts. Tried the cotton candy too yum!

I appreciate the quality and service at Chocolate Storybook. Staff are friendly and helpful...and their suggestions are on point. Their chocolate covered strawberries are legendary! And the chocolate Easter Eggs are iconic. Be to stop by frequently. And always pre-order for special occasions!

Don't judge this "book" by it's "cover! From the road, this place looks like someone's little house, but inside it's super nice and cute and clean! They had hilarious flavors of cotton candy, like pickle and bacon. Also has lots of cute gift/souvenir stuff- very fun place and the girl working there was so sweet!

The variety of candies at this store is amazing. Sure they have chocolates, but they have Jelly Belly flavors I've never seen and cotton candy flavors that blew my mind, like bacon and sugar cookie. They also have awesome sampler platters that are great for parties or gifts. You should definitely stop in at least once, and they have boxes for safely shipping treats across the country.

A fun established chocolate paradise. Staff is friendly and very helpful without being in your face. The candy is wonderful and fresh. I have not used the service yet, but, they will mail your chocolates. Enjoy your visit, you won't be disappointed.

Decent locally owned candy shop. Primarily sells chocolates and some other assorted candies. This is more reminiscent of a chocolate gift shop then a classic confectionery. So don't expect any unique hard candies or lollipops here.

Nice little Shoppe. A little tight quarters but I think that adds to its feel. Prices are what you'd expect small store hand made chocolates. Service was polite and pretty quick especially given it was busy and the holidays.
