Reviews of La Fillette Bakery
While I was visiting Denver I looked for a local bakery that was within driving distance from downtown. This bakery got such great reviews I had to come check it out. It is a smaller storefront and if you blink you'll miss it. It's located between two other retailers and there is parking behind the building.I got here just before closing so although there wasn't a huge selection they still had decent options. They offer a seasonal pumpkin Pop-Tart, chocolate croissant, several savory croissants, they also had orange and cranberry scones. Being a traditionalist I got the cinnamon roll and wisely had them heat it up (isn't this a requirement for cinnamon rolls?) They are baked in cupcake wrappers and frosted with a dollop of cream cheese frosting. And although my expectations or barely low this was one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever eaten. The cream cheese frosting was just right and a cinnamon roll itself was crispy and soft at the same time. So the other reviewers were spot on correct this was a great bakery. I would love to come back and some other fresh items. Parking is a little bit of tricky but there is a dedicated lot for the strip and back of the storefront. Keep your eye out or you will miss this gem.
Picked up some breakfast pastries from here on Saturday morning. There was a line but it moved quickly. The whole place smells delicious. We picked up croissants (plain and almond) and a sourdough wheat boule. Loved the croissants, crispy flaky and buttery. The boule was good too. Strong wheat flavor and dough was very moist. I highly recommend this place if you need a great baked good fix. Prices are high but so is everything right now. You got to pay to play.
OMG…OMG…OMG…..There is.no tastier croissant 🥐 in the entire universe than the ones at La Fillette Bakery….!!!!
Give them all a try…. But if you want to be enraptured all-over… ask if there a warm one just out of the oven….
Truly one of the best days of life was the day that a warm almond croissant had come directly out of the oven !!!
I recently had a breakfast croissant sandwich that was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen ….and tastes magnificent too
Delicious food, reasonable prices. Have been here a couple times and will continue to come back. Their breakfast sandwich options are great, something for everyone given the ability to customize. All their other pastries we have tried are great. Worth stopping by!
The place is awesome. Try the duck bahn mi. Their croissants are super delicious, flaky and savory. Fresh out of the oven. Not every place has a line Monday morning; it shows just how good they are.
Cute little bakery with amazing breakfast sandwiches. I highly recommend the lil kick breakfast sandwich - the jam and goat cheese balance each other out. The croissant was toasted perfectly and it was so buttery and airy.
Tried a breakfast sando and a Banh mi. Both were great! One was on an English muffin and the other on ciabatta and the sandwiches were good, but the carbs were wonderful! Also got a galette and it was great! Can’t wait to go back and try more, as I wanted to try a almond croissant, but they were out… a sign of good things to come!
Update! Came back and got to try an almond croissant! It’s great when they warn you it might be messy… why you ask? The best reason, as it was warm, fresh out of the oven and it was magnificent!
Also, happy 7th anniversary!
We’ve recently moved to Denver from Paris 5ème and we were skeptical at finding decent viennoiserie here but we’re happy to report the quality at la fillette is quite good - in fact better than some of the boulangerie-pâtisserie in Paris. The croissants are decent! They miss a bit on the butter quality but the feuilleté is spot on. The kouign-amann are especially good…
Perfectly laminated croissants with a slightly crisp shell. Yum! The almond croissant had the perfect amount of filling!
All of breads I got from La Fillette was extraordinary! Especially, their almond croissant was the best :) The galette seems like french style pastry version, and it’s perfect too.
I’m legitimately considering selling my house to move closer to this place. The cinnamon roll is criminally good. Should not be allowed to make something that incredible. The pop tart was equally phenomenal and the sourdough bread was amazing as well. This is a place you go to when you need something to go right or you want to impress someone. Denver is lucky to have them.
This is a little French taste in an American city! Tried their sandwiches, croissants and I must say it took me to my time in Paris. I wish they had some seating space too… really love this cafe!!!
La Fillette has the best almond croissant in Denver. They are fresh, perfectly baked and large. Absolutely worth the trip!
This place knows what they’re doing in the kitchen. However, packaging needs work. Please don’t stack my savory croissant and almond croissant on top of each other in the bag. Chunks of garlic in my almond croissant were not ideal.
There is no denying that the baked goods here are fantastic. That is the reason we go. The service for the most part is laughably rude (except for the first time ever- a gal wearing a “kwasant” shirt was very nice- probably won’t last long here). Forewarned is forearmed!
Everything here was SO GOOD. I got the Build-Your-Own-Breakfast sandwich, and it was so tasty. I also got a popover-sweet-roll thing that was heavenly, and a pop tart that was good/great.
Can’t wait to go back.
The best breakfast sammies in Denver. Treat yo self and get the BYO croissant sandwich with bacon, cheddar, & hatch green chiles. Or dabble in the banh mi sammies if you're feeling lunchy, all 3 banh mi options are 🤌 …
Incredible croissants. Almond croissant, ham and cheese croissant and BYO sandwiches are some of the best breakfast you can find.
THE. BEST. CROISSANT. EVER.
Do they fly in their croissants from France every morning? Maybe.
Will I need a croissant after writing this review? Obviously.
Anyways - the ham and cheese croissant is a classic, the chocolate is amazing, the almond has a hint of sweet for those who aren't big on sweets but want to get a little frisky. The savory roll is extremely tasty as well ( cheddar cheese with a hatch green chili).
You can also create your own breakfast sandwich on either a croissant, English muffin, ciabatta, or focaccia. Then you can choose multiple different options of what's inside such as American cheese, goat cheese, roasted garlic feta, swiss, gruyere, cheddar, caramelized onions, leeks, bacon, ham, mushrooms, bacon tomato jam, and the list goes on.
If you're looking for a delicious breakfast or lunch spot in the area, come on down to La Fillette to have your mind blown!
Thoroughly enjoyed my croissant breakfast sandwich with GRUYERE HOW FRENCH CAN YOU GET!? Still thinking about that decadent masterpiece a couple weeks later. If it were closer I'd probably go there far too often. très délicieux mes amis!
Authentic French Bakery! You can have delicious pastry here, especially the texture of croissant is perfect!! Buttery and soft inside and crispy and flaky outside ❤️ I tried their breakfast sandwich, which is ham, cheese and egg w leeks in it and it was so delicious! My favorite spot!
The best croissants in Denver, period !
Very friendly staff, very delicious food, they serve sandwiches (build your sandwich), different kinds of croissants, quiche & yummy pastry.
Vegetarian options are available.
They serve coffee as well.
Great, great breakfast sandwiches.
My only complaint would be: not entirely what I expected. This is *not* so much a counter-service cafe as it is a wholesale bakery operating at full tilt.
My one time there (so far), an order for a single sandwich took around 10 minutes to prepare between a crew of 5+ putting croissants in the over and kneading bread. And there's no seating.
All of that is fine and worth the required patience and compromise, because the quality of the food is that excellent.
Perhaps order ahead.
This is the best bakery in Denver!! My husband and I come here nearly every weekend. We love the croissants, omelets, and the cinnamon rolls are to die for. Just an overall awesome bakery!
Incredible and well priced menu. Elite croissants and great breakfast Sammies.
So amazing! Most delicious croissants and the build your own breakfast sandwich has so many options. Great vegetarian options as well. So so yummy!
We love this place. We used to come here every day before covid. Got take out a bunch during covid and just as delicious as dining in. We love Michael and the crew. Thanks guys! ~Harrison and Kelsey
Great little French shop. They do what they do great but they don’t do much. That’s the only downside is how limited the pastry options are. We had the chocolate croissant, a galette and a cinnamon roll. It was all great with slight improvements that could be made but the disappointing factor was the lack of options.
I went for the duck confit banh mi, it was delicious and wholesome. The cold brew was a good add on
French bakery with great baked goods and sandwhiches.
They are moving locations and prices have gone up ~25%. I get inflation but breakfast sandwiches going from $8-$10-$12 is a bit ridiculous
This place is a gem, it reminds me of the neighborhood bakeries in Paris. Not the fancy ones, but the family run businesses that have been open for centuries. The almond croissant is heaven but they offer many classic French pastries. Quiche, ham and cheese croissants, macaroons, cakes. They have added seating and tables but on the weekends it does get busy and can be hard to find a spot. Love seeing this local little bakery thrive!
I've loved every baked good I've tried from La Fillette. The croissants are especially delicious.
Delicious breakfast croissants and pastries, take out only, slow service, asked for Almond milk, got regular milk, girl didn't care.
Street parking.
Stopped by here on a recent trip to Rose Hospital to pick up some pastries for the crew there. These were amazingly tasty and the staff was super helpful and friendly. thank you!
Stopped in while walking from a medical appointment at Rose, into this not-very-visible form the outside bakery. I ordered a chocolate croissant and it was one of the best I have ever had. At $5.00 it was not cheap, but it was huge and felt like it weighed 5 pounds. Absolutely delicious croissant. Cant wait to go back and try other things. It was flaky, buttery, and better than any I had ever had. YUM!
My first time visiting the store front, but not the first time enjoying their pastries! La Fillette is quite cute and cozy inside and I was very happy with the atmosphere. If I lived closer I would frequent all the time!
Best almond croissants in Denver. Funfetti cupcake is unique and tasted good. Service is excellent. Definitely recommend this place.
Literally this food is so good it has brought tears to my eyes. That is not an exaggeration. Best croissants I've EVER had, their quiche is melt in your mouth amazing and you can taste the love put into making it. Reminds me of when my mom used to make homemade brunch on the weekends when I was a kid. If you havent tried this place you are missing out!
The ABSOLUTE BEST Almond Croissants in the WORLD!
I've tried Almond Croissants From Literally 100's of Bakerys All Over this Nation and More.
The Buttery Crispy Crust is PERFECT with a soft center filled with a creamy almond buttery flavor is ample and combined to create a heart pounding pleasure guaranteed to take you directly to Paris on a warm spring morning with the sun warming your heart while falling in love.
If you are near 8th and Colorado Ave you must check out La Follette it is an amazing French bakery that has sweet and savory croissants, macaroons, Cinnamon rolls, Coffee and more.
There is indoor and outdoor seating but it is limited, so you might want to walk to the park if it's packed with people.
Visited La Fillette for the first time a few days ago and was amazed. I had the morning bun with coffee, it was to die for. I took the strawberry lemon curd galette, for later, and it also didn’t disappoint. Wish I lived closer. ❤️
Delicious croissant BLT sandwich! It was sort of mess, but a delicious mess. I also tried a slice of chocolate cake with coffee frosting. It was great, not too sweet. My sister ordered a cold brew and enjoyed it very much. Great little shop!
My friend and I went here for a quick late breakfast, and lemme TELL you. Everything was delicious. We got the cinnamon roll, savory roll, and a ham & cheese croissant, as well as some iced chais. Every baked good was INCREDIBLE, flaky, and melt-in-your-mouth. The iced chais left a little to be desired, but I've had way worse. I'll definitely add this to the list of places to come back to
We love this place! We eat here practically every day and the wonderful manager Allison helped me surprise my hubby on his birthday with a cute cookie! Thank you!!!!!
Great French bakery. We've been working on finding the best in town and this place is definitely in the running. If it had some cafe seating it would be perfect, but totally willing to overlook that for the quality of the baked goods.
This is a fantastic french bakery and a perfect place to get croissants, galettes, and macarons. I typically go early in the morning and there is still usually a small line. Everything I have tried here is good, but do yourself a favor and make your own crossiant breakfast sandwich. I made a goat cheese, bacon, and caramelized onion one and it was phenomenal. Check this place out, you won't regret it!
One of the best spots in Denver that's completely under the radar. Go here for the fantastic cinnamon buns or a decadent croissant breakfast sandwich.
It smells of butter when you first walk in, followed by the incredible warmth an active bakery brings with it. The quiche was very good and quite filling, and the breakfast sandwich was well executed, although I chose poorly doing the English muffin with hash (too much soft, not enough texture like bacon or ciabatta as a backdrop). I'll be back to try more!
So much yes. I used to get to go to Paris all the time and the pastries here are legit. Run, dont walk, to enjoy all of the wonderful authentic fare. Plus, run more, eat more? 😁🤷♀️ …
Oh I can’t wait to go back and try everything! Today, I had a chocolate croissant and a cold brew. The first flakey bite into the croissant took me immediately to my 2 weeks in France several summers ago. I’m drooling just thinking about it! And to me, a perfect cold brew doesn’t need cream or sugar added, and this coffee was perfect!
Prices were a little high, coffee selection was limited. It's good if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Croissants were nice and flaky.
Incredible baked goods and sandwiches. Bahn Mi might be the best ever!
Delicious food! Everything I've gotten here has been extraordinary. I highly suggest the quiche, it's ultra tall with a wonderfully flaky crust.
Ummm did I just get an amazing huge buttery croissant sandwich loaded with duck confit, fried egg, gruyere, and roasted garlic for $9? I will be coming back often for more build your own breakfast sandwich combos and almond croissants.
I am glad I only just discovered this amazing bakery because it is dangerous! The most incredible sour dough bread, wonderful quiche, and croissants, I've tried them all. The closest thing to Paris with all of those wonderful laminated layers. Yum, yum, yum!
LOVE! I live 30 minutes away and still drove there 2 weekends in a row and will probably continue going as often as I can. Delicious! Perfect blend of creamy savory flaky fluffy flavorful amazingness! Ham and Cheese croissant! 😁😻😁 …
Just incredible croissants!! They are always cooked perfectly and they don't skimp on the fillings! No matter how close to closing you visit the standard is always amazing!! Liturally our favourite breakfast spot in Denver!
We think their croissants are as good as any we've had in Paris! Delicious quiche, breads, cookies, everything they bake is amazing!
Best bakery in Denver! Build your own breakfast sandwich is always my go to. the croissants, gallete, and pop tarts are all things I just cant leave without. can't wait to try the Cuban and the banh mi! its just hard to stray from the ones I already know and love!
Very good croissant and pain au chocolate. The lunch-y sandwiches are also good. Duck confit is perfectly rich and confit-y. Will keep coming back.
Edit to add - consistently amazing. We keep coming back for breakfast sandwiches and the croissants.
This place is fine at best and expensive. Everything is wildly overpriced and the croissant i got was tough?? You’re better off at just about any other bakery in Denver :/
Excellent!!! One of the best, if not THE best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Croissants are extremely flakey, while remaining soft and buttery. Their sausage patty is seasoned and exceptionally flavorful. I absolutely love this spot.
Best breakfast sandwiches in town by far. Also love the bakery and lunch soup n sandwich special here.
Incredible breakfast sandwiches and baguettes. Online ordering works incredibly well.
Great French pastry shop, but don't sleep in too late as they tend to run out of the favorites. I really enjoy their ham and cheese breakfast croissant, the family loves the chocolate croissants and almond croissants. They also make lunch sandwiches that I don't have any AZ m experience with. They do make a decadent chocolate chip French toast for those with a serious morning sweet tooth.
I liked the taste of my sandwich but this place lacks ambiance. I also bought some macrons to go and they we so dry and brittle they cracked in the bag before I ate them.
Hands down a 5 star review.
Excellent menu. Hard to choose between such great options.
We ordered the chocolate croissant French toast and a breakfast sandwich.
Wow, both were spectacular. The best French toast I have ever had. Crispy outside, decadent custard like inside. Not too sweet and so much chocolate goodness.
Their "build your own" breakfast sandwich comes with a fried egg and gives a lot of possibilities to make it your own. Choose from 4 or 5 breads, ~5 cheeses, and a list of toppings to add. We got focaccia, roasted garlic feta, mushrooms and spinach. So perfect, I cannot even begin to tell you.
It was great splitting both items with my wife, we both definitely left full and satisfied.
Will definitely be back.
Outstanding. Totally worth the money. Treat yoself!
This little cafe is just lovely. They make all their own pastries and it shows! Their breakfast sandwiches are top notch, and coffee is stellar as well. Definitely get there early unless you want to wait in an out-the-door line!
We've been coming here (and bringing Denver visitors) here for over a year now and it's always delicious. I don't think we'll ever get tired of ordering the BYO breakfast sandwiches!
This was a place recommended to me by my real estate agent, what a find! People are friendly, space is clean, and the food is great. You have endless options when creating your breakfast sandwich and you can't go wrong with what you choose to put together. This will be a regular spot!
Having a French bakery in walking distance for weekend brunch is exactly as wonderful as you imagine. I was tempted to take off a star for it often bring crowded and the coffee is only pretty good. I can't though, cause I love going to this place. Wonderful experience every time. If you have kids though, please only bring the polite ones, it is too small a place for unruly monsters.
After seeing one of La Fillets BLT croissant sandwiches displayed on a friend of mines Instagram story, I knew I had to have one. Well today was the day, and it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely go back and the customer service was charming!
Love this place and the staff! My friends and I visited from Seattle and Lindsay at the counter made us feel so welcomed. Will definitely visit again!
My second best croissant option. They can be inconsistent with the baking, sometimes croissants look on the verge of burned. Yes, the price can be steep but totally worth it when the baking is on point! Get the cinnamon roll if croissants are looking a bit too dark.
Mon dieu! Best croissants in Denver, hands down, and I've tried a few! The flaky buttery consistency is always cooked to perfection, assorted fillings satisfy. I've never had the chance for anything but take out (yet) but everything I have gotten there has been delicious, including the fruit galettes.
MAGNIFIQUE! The croissants here are outstanding. We picked up a chocolate, a plain, and a delightful black coffee and drove over to Cheesman Park to enjoy them this morning. Really friendly staff, quick service and superb pastries :)
At last a fabulous FRENCH bakery.......I felt like I was on the streets of Paris!
No dining in....just pick up and go....very friendly staff and everything is fresh and fabulous.....get the Banh Mi sandwich and soup.....sensational!!!
um wow…. this was by far the best breakfast sandwich i’ve ever had. wish i could give this 10 stars
Best bakery in Denver I’ve found. Everything is amazing. But try the BYO breakfast sandwiches on English and all the croissants.
Nice bakery with a great staff and good choices. You can order almost any kind of French pastry. The Macaroons and Pumpkin Turnovers were out of this world.
This is the best croissant to hit Denver since Buffalo Doughboy bakery. Quite frankly its one of the best croissants I have ever had in the United States. Could have come straight from a cafe in Paris. I can’t speak to the other delights on offer but the croissant was dank ($4)
The best croissants in Denver! And the best people. They make the croissants in house, and are always welcoming. You can watch them cook everything and see they're very good at what they do. It's a smaller shop, good for a brunch for two or a quick bite with coffee (they serve Logan House).
I got a few things from La Fillette and enjoyed them all immensely. They even packed my cinnamon roll in an additional container to make sure the frosting on top made it home (thank you!). The almond croissant was wonderful - so buttery and flaky. Definitely will be back!
Quite possibly one of the best croissants I've had in the US. The illustrious chef studied in France and has allowed us to enjoy a treat here in Denver. Highly recommend the almond croissant- you won't be disappointed!
Best croissants in Denver. Spells like France when you walk in. The owner is incredible and really tends to your experience even though it’s order at the counter.
I had a hot chocolate croissant minutes out of the oven... Devine! It’s all made with love 💕
THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST FRENCH BAKERY I'VE EVER BEEN TO in the US! The breakfast sandwiches are super yummy, and the almond croissant is to die for!!!
Every time I go back, I am in awe of their consistent perfection in creating every pastry with care and love. Their croissants are made with precision and much attention to detail. I sense that so much devotion goes into their work--and it shows with how flaky, tasty, and addictive their dough is. My wife loves the almond croissant: it oozes with filling, and the crunch of the croissant...wow. Breakfast sandwiches are assembled with care...up to the way the egg is cooked; plus the ingredients are top-shelf.
A little pricey but the quality holds up if you are looking for an amazing croissant in Denver
Croissants are perfect and they are the real deal for french bakery products.
BUT be aware you will be charged the ridiculous summ of 6.5 usd for a ham and cheese croissant and more than 5 for a plain croissant.
The old frennch guy behind the counter is rude, or should I just say french, maybe he's the owner and he feels great charging almost 7 usd for a croissant.
Absolutely delicious. I had the BLT and a raspberry and custard pastry, and I never knew custard could taste so good. Everything about the place is perfect from the quaint decor to the guy with the beard behind the counter. I can't wait to visit again!
Can't get over how good the breakfast sandwiches here are! Try one on their ciabatta
I love this place! Everything I’ve tried has been amazing, different croissants, omelettes, cinnamon rolls etc. They’ve even made ordering easier adding an online ordering system. Definitely give this place a try.
I want to give them one star just so the rest of you don't here and I can have all the ham and cheese croissants for myself. But well I just can't give props where props be needed. This is by far the best place in town for bakery treats or late brunch. Enjoy
Absolutely amazing bakery - all of the pastries were delicious, breakfast sandwiches were legitimately the best I’ve ever eaten, and the staff is amazing. You can’t ask for anything better than that. ❤️
Breakfast sandwiches and, of course, all their croissants are fantastic. I recommend the almond or lemon croissants. There are only 4 or 5 tables and it can get cramped. Also, the lines can get long in the morning. There is a small parking area and close by street parking
One of my favorite breakfast in Denver. The food here is unbeatable and the prices are extremely reasonable. I really enjoyed their macaroons and the omelette I got. Seating is a little bit limited.
Best breakfast sandwich in Denver! Seriously amazing bread and sandwiches. This became one of my favorite spots immediately after my first time there
The best croissant in town by a mile. As a Frenchman, I have a rather extensive experience with pastries, and I have had worse croissants there (in France).
We ordered a couple of their plain croissants, a sugared almond one, and a lime custard pastry. All of the items we chose were phenomenal. They were super fresh and made with lots of love. I highly recommend La Fillette.
The croissant though!! Coffee, tea, quiche, breakfast sandwiches, baked goods.. this place has nice french fusion baked goods. The star of the show is the croissant, you won't be disappointed.
The quality of their croissants is good, however, they frequently run out of stock and their service is poor. Last week I walked in, several people behind the counter looked directly at me but didn’t acknowledge me. It took about a minute for someone to come assist. Is it really that hard to acknowledge a customer and say: someone will be with you in a moment.
We went in for a baguette but they were sold out by the afternoon. We got chocolate croissants instead. Now that they have set the hook with their croissants, we will be back to try whatever else they are cooking. That was one of the best croissants I have ever eaten.
The croissants here are perfection! Got a BYO sandwich with duck confit, yum. Coffee was very good too. Service was great. Highly recommend if you are looking for morning delights!
Croissants and other laminated doughs are wonderful. Don’t order the cookies. Only taste flour.
I you’re looking for a French bakery in Denver this place is the creme de la creme! I live walking distance and the food and service is incredible every time. Fresh baked croissants and macaroons every day mmm!!
Really good breakfast sandwiches made from whichever fillings you choose. There are a few options for the bread but so far it's been impossible to choose anything but the croissant because they're so delicious!
This bakery is an amazing treat! From their cinnamon buns to their breakfast sandwiches, everything is well made and has fantastic flavoring! I love living so close to them and supporting local businesses!
The breakfast sandwiches are incredible, and you can't go wrong with any combination. The staff is also very willing to help you choose a great combination once you get it started. I'll definitely be back.
Best croissant in Denver and you pay the price. It's expensive ($5) but worth it as a rare treat. The almond croissant was a bit too sweet for me, however I may easily be in the minority.
Best bakery in Denver! Delicious pastries both savory and sweet. Amazing breakfast sandwhiches and omelettes - even build your own! Quaint atmosphere and friendly service. Must go!
Best croissant I have ever had.
I had my gender reveal cake made here this weekend. I scheduled pickup for Sunday but called Saturday morning all worried because there was a big snow storm coming.... turns out they made the cake already knowing that the weather would put a wrench in plans. I got to pick it up early and avoid the crazy drive. The cake itself was beautiful. Aaannnd it was delicious. It was not too sweet at all which made me so happy! Great customer service and excellent product. It's a drive for me but totally worth it. Thanks La Fillette!
Incredible. Undoubtedly the best bakery in Denver. It's wild how fluffy and light their items are when baking at altitude. Arrive early as many items sell out. The quiche especially is a must have.
Fantastic hole-in-the-wall cafe stocked with baguettes that are often sold out by noon (if not earlier), delicious pastries, quiche, and sandwiches. I always grab a slice of both quiche (lorraine/ham et veggie), an almond croissant and a pain au chocolat to go.
I literally dream about these pastries! Thank you for bringing this little shop to the community and delivering perfectly laminated croissants and to-die-for cinnamon rolls into our lives! I tried them for the first time at Jubilee and i'm addicted.
This place is fantastic!!! The food, especially the croissants, are AMAZING!!!
Things to know: seating is limited, food is freshly made so it does take a little bit of time before your food comes out, the food is a bit pricey, BUT the again the food is FANTASTIC!
Definitely worth a visit!!! Enjoy your visit!!!!
Melt in your mouth pastries. Perfectly laminated croissants. Breakfast sandwiches to wake you from your hangover.
I love La Fillette. The staff is always so welcoming and wonderful. This is a great place to read and have a small bite and a cup of coffee. The croissants are amazing, but I highly recommend the quiche lorraine.
Closed on Tuesdays, but it's open every other day.
I have no idea how this bakery has flown under my radar for so long? Amazing croissants, gallettes, and other treats. Just writing this is making me want to plan my next visit.
I come here once every couple of months and you will not find better croissants. So tasty and fresh. Staff and owner are friendly, and I never mind waiting in line for the fresh made pastries.
Best croissants I’ve ever had!
Always delicious pastries and breakfast sandwiches.
Expensive...a plain croissant is $4, and almond or chocolate $5. BUT, the quality is super high...these might be the very, very best 🥐 in Denver...I think every bit as good as Trompeau. …
Food isn't good enough to justify being as expensive as it is.
I love the plain/buttered croissants. The employees are very nice. I'm very picky and they always accommodate my request for the lighter croissants.
If I lived next door to them I would be there everyday. Between the service and the food there is no better place. The food is always so delicious and fresh that my mouth waters just thinking about it. Especially their breakfast sandwiches.
This fantastic French bakery is mostly a wholesaler to restaurants and coffee shops around town, but they also have a little retail counter with limited hours and a small selection of breads, pastries, breakfast items, and desserts.
Arrive early as the goodies go fast.
This place is so cute and comfy!! The croissant made in-house are delicious.. coffee $2.50 , plain croissant $4 and $7 breakfast sandwich makes me a happy girl!!
Le Fillette has the best croissants I have since the time I was in Paris.
When I die, bury me in a pile of La Fillette breakfast sandwiches -- with goat cheese, bacon tomato jam, please. The baguette is so good I almost hesitate to tell people because they only make so many per day -- and I want them all for me!!!!
World, this bakery is no joke. Hands down the best croissant I've ever had. Buy anything they make and I guarantee your smile will extend into corners of your face you didn't know were there.
Strong coffee and buttery croissants, what else can you ask for? Strongly recommend the BYO breakfast sandwich with duck confit. Have yet to try one thing that isn't to die for!
The best breakfast sandwich in Denver, hands down. Just walk in and take a few seconds to smell the fresh baked croissants if you're having a bad day.
probably the best croissants I have had in the states, the alond was great and we waiting for the fresh baked chocolate, bothe were excellent.
Amazing croissant breakfast sandwich!!
Favorite bakery in town. Order breakfast sandwiches, chocolate croissants, and a pack of frozen english muffins almost every weekend.
Boyfriend brought home an almond croissant... Oh my god so delicious I didn't want it to end.
Highly recommend anything off their menu.
Delicious croissants! Their almond croissant is the best I've had in Denver.
Everything here is absolutely delish!!
This place is so good. They really know how to make a delicious, stacked croissant. Coming in tomorrow
The best Croissants I've ever had. Better than Paris. Friendly service. A little pricey, but that's Denver for you. Je reccomande fortement!
Incredibly delicious. Bhakti chai is a winner every time. Best croissants that I've ever found. So flaky and wonderful!
Best croissants that I’ve had outside of Paris. I dream about these croissants!
Wonderful service & the best Almond Croissant in town. They make a marvelous quiche as well, perfectly fluffy and properly seasoned.
Everything I’ve had is so delicious - croissants, BLT, breakfast sandwich, coffee - all soo good
This place has such a good atmosphere, walked in happy leaving happier with such delicious food. And talk about customer service (: makes sense why they are the top rated bakery!
Bread is fantastic, the quiche perfect. I wish they had better coffee options. An espresso with a pain au chocolat would be ideal!
Croissant pastries like a bakery in France
Ham and cheese croissant 10/10
Breakfast sandwiches 10/10
We adore this place. Incredible french bread and croissants. The owner really cares about making sure customers are happy.
Croissants were enormous in size, overly dense and lacking any hint buttery flakiness. Baguette was quite dense as well. Friendly staff.
Finally found a hidden Gem breakfast spot! Fresh, stacked croissants and delicious bacon, even after 1 o'clock!
Love the croissants but I think the cinammon roll is the hidden gem
Best croissants in town! Just like I had in Paris.
We got 4 different items, and none were mind-blowing or even particularly good. I was expecting more given all the 5 star reviews…
Blt with egg on a croissant 🥐 was amazing so was the almond croissant my gf got happy we could support such a good local bakery …
Delicious! Loved our BLTs and pastries. My favorite are the almond croissants.
I died and went to heaven...this place is amazing. I had the quiche Lorraine and almond croissant and it tasted unbelievable.
Highly recommended
Croissants are tasty and sufficiently flaky. Baguettes are not good: heavy and sourdough-like. Overpriced for what it offers.
Fantastic bakery. Please save the last ham and cheese croissant for me.
Phenomenal. The staff are super friendly
This place is amazing. Kind of hard to see, small, but the food is so good. Breakfast sandwich is a tad pricey but it is 💯 worth it. Glad I live down the street from it. …
Best breakfast sandwiches in Denver! Coffee could be better but food is delicious.
Hard to find, small signage. Not clear what they had sold out of. Pastries were good, nothing extra special, just classic French.
I'd go here for the rest of my life JUST for the almond croissant! The bakery itself is quaint and I love it's personality.
Best breakfast croissants!! Flaky delicious and savory. Great service and atmosphere.
Their pastries are delicieux. The almond cream croissants are to die for. The bagett are pretty awesome also.
I usually don't get to this side of town, but recommend it as a Destiny. The gallettes are to Die For. Enjoying the raspberry almond paste and I'm in heaven.
Best cinnamon rolls, however, they never have them! I swear they only make 5 per day. :(
Perfectly flaky and buttery croissants. A little on the pricey side but I'm willing to splurge for the quality of this bakery's produce
Breakfast sandwiches were delish! Will definitely return.
Truly incredible croissants! Bacon egg and cheese on a croissant is 👌 …
This place is fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is fantastic. Their location is always clean and neat. Their breakfast sandwiches are to die for.

Amazing breakfast sandwiches and baked goods. The best baguettes and croissants in Denver.
If you haven't been you need to go. Be warned, you need to be in regular driving distance. It's really good.
A great place to visit on a weekend morning. Love the croissants and othe delicious pastries.
I think it's illegal to bake croissants that taste this good outside of Paris. These guys must have found a loophole.
The best croissants and cinnamon rolls I have ever had.
Very tasty pastries. The pain au chocolat rivals those in France!
Best croissant I’ve ever had.
Delicious, cozy little spot. Easy to miss, but worth having a croissant or chocolate chip cookie.
Drove a while to get here off of a recommendation and they did not disappoint. Super friendly, well priced, and delicious breakfast. Will go back for sure.
Addicted to their breakfast sandwiches. Can create your own with choice of bread, meat, cheese and extras like tomato jam, green chili, leeks, etc.
Amazing breakfast sandwich and croissants. A bit expensive I thought at first until I ate the breakfast sandwich-worth it!
Drinks are no-frills but baked goods and food items are AMAZING. I love their gallettes and crossiants 🥐❤️ …

Food was good but their menu and what they have available is not very straight forward. The Place itself is hard to find but I guess they're moving next month anyway
ELITE breakfast sandwiches
Wow!!! I got to the bakery around 8am and the morning buns weren't quite ready. Being that this was the first time ever having a morning bun and the main reason for coming, I was happy to hang out and wait. I'm so glad I did! It's was so warm and delicious and yummy I ate it in the truck before even leaving the place.vvi also got a almond croissant, a couple other croissants and a baguette. All of them were wonderfully delicious!!!
Thank you guys and I wish you the best in your new location.
