I love my Sam's!!! From pet food to pharma, to die for Rotisserie chicken, to melt in your mouth tender steak, to thick thirsty towels... throw in beautiful diamonds, great clothes, and a bakery(?????)... so So SO happy I joined! Oh, and their gas prices can't be beat....

I was under the impression that this was an selective institution with strict membership criteria, and thus out of a sense of egalitarianism had not ventured in for some time. To my delight, I found Sam's Club was not an exclusive Victorian Men's Club, with it's cigar smoke, overstuffed leather furniture, curios from members' travels, and never quite well enough stocked bar, but a warehouse store offering fair prices on goods in bulk! Indeed, the only bar was that of the snack variety, which served reasonably priced hot dogs and pizza, rather than pheasant and mince pie. I left with a gross of K cupps for my Keurig, a gallon jar of pickles, a years worth of paper towels, and a smile on my face.

The inside of the store is pretty standard. There is one manager who is an excellent floor general. I have witnessed him clear jams at registers and exits with an unmatched efficiency. My biggest issue is the parking lot design. Not well thought out.

Sam’s bakery department…I was having a small wedding on 12/31/21, I needed a cake. I wanted it pretty but not too expensive as again small wedding of about 15-20 people. Called around the prices were ridiculous. I went to Sam’s to see what they were offering. 2 tier cake for $39, can’t beat that! Placed my order the ladies in the bakery department were super nice and very helpful. Went to pick up my cake on my wedding day and it was everything and more and again only $39. The cake was super moist and no one believed I got it from Sam’s. Thanks again to the bakery department of Sam’s in Sandhills Columbia,SC.

Obviously, great for bulk shopping! Having teenagers and hardworking men/women in the house, it's necessary to buy some things in bulk! It was a typical weekend madhouse in there, but things still moved pretty quick. Can't beat the bulk prices, and the fresh fruits/veggies looked great! (Side note- mask policy is either not in place or not enforced; saw several customers wandering about without a mask. All employees and MOST customers were wearing one, however.)

I wish the store was a lot bigger inside and they need a dedicated section for gardening....like plants and flowers. I love the scan and go...as for the self checkout its usually pain free there are lines sometimes when they are super busy and it could have a cash option for when people don't want to use their debt cards. There are some things that they have online only but not in the store which is a pain. I also wish they'd get in a deli section for people that want sliced cold cuts and other meats as well.

Ok things that needs to be fixed is the fountain soda in the cafeteria area and organize the front a bit more. Pretty dirty and my soda was flat.

This Sam's Club in sandhills is pretty good. The only thing is before you buy children juice make sure it's not old. I recently purchase the Adam and Eve juice for children and it was old.

This Sam's is always neat and clean, but I am taking away 1 star because I bought a cake for my daughter that said it had buttercream icing with chocolate cake, but the cake was vanilla. The sticker was wrong. The cake was still delicious, but not what my daughter wanted. The cake was beautifully decorated as well, just not chocolate.

A cleaned array of carts awaited customers. The Sam's employee was steadily cleaning carts to remain ahead of demand. As usual, the store was clean and well organized. We easily located our purchases. With many stores experiencing merchandise shortages, we were pleased to find Sam's well stocked. Most everything that we wanted was in stock including some newer items. Sam's employees tend to be patient and friendly yet efficient. Our brief encounters today with Sam's people was excellent. We overheard an employee working with other customers at the checkouts. We did not catch your employee's name, but she was an asset to your store. She was kind and explained well. Thanks for another good visit!

Very clean, not very busy. I use a cane so when the electric scooter/ buggies are charged and available I like to grab one. I grabbed one that had sign up saying charged, unplugged it ,it lit up saying 100 percent charged, great! Started my shopping- less then 15 minutes later, it was down to 10 percent and dead. A nice gentleman/ manager came by and messaged for a charged buggy to be brought to me. Yea ! New one was brought, switched over and continued shopping, with in few moments that buggy died, was brought another buggy and luckily headed right to check out because that buggy also died right as I exited the door. I loved that I was brought charged buggies right away, I just wish they stayed charged. I was in store for just over 1 hour. I am glad they do have a large amount of these buggies. Nice clean store, very helpful employees.

Everybody was very friendly and helpful. We had made an online purchase and did not realize we near to download the app to reserve a spot for them to come alone us up. Sam's club is always good to me. The cashiers recognize me and my family so it is nice. I love the $4 rotisserie chicken and the $9 large pizzas. The Sam's club app makes it even easier to shop and check out. You just scan everything as you go along and then hit ready to pay. It gives you a digital receipt. I miss samples day. I cant wait till those days are back again.

Great prices on meats! Nice variety of fruits and vegetables!You can't beat $4.98 for a massive rotisserie chicken ( I prefer to modify it at home with more spices and bake the bird longer as we sometimes end up with the bird a bit on the rare side). My kids love the hot dog and pizza combos, and frozen yogurt (when the machines aren't down)at the cafe and I love the cheap prices.

First time at this Sams and was pleased to find it nit crowded. Was impressed when the electric shopping cart I was using was replaced quickly when the battery died and I was stranded in the meat section. Unfortunately that battery died 5 minutes later.

Staff are nice. Store is nice, clean & organized. As is usual. Did have a problem at the Customer Service counter however. I was next in line. There were two employees behind the counter. Only one was helping customers. Unfortunately, the one person ahead of me & the employee apparently knew each other & the employee chose to have a "meet & greet" and I ended up having to wait 15 minutes before I was graciously allowed to be served. By the way the employee conducted this encounter, it was obvious (broad daylight & in the open) that this was routine behavior for her. This is a result of lack of managerial oversight & no consequences. Common place these days.

I purchased a gun safe for a really good price. My excitement was short lived once they told me the home delivery price. $400. The subcontract company that handles home delivers were hard to reach the correct department to quote us a price. Trent in customer service displayed great patience as we waited for 30 minutes to get our quote. Disappointed, as I was leaving, I saw a store manager and stop to share my disappointment with issue of setting up delivery. I just happen to stop the store manager Josh as I were leaving. He couldn’t believe the price quoted for delivery either. He ask where I lived, when I would like to have it delivered. I ask if they had a hand truck that would handle the 550 lbs safe. He said that he had a personal one at home that he would bring in tomorrow for us to use. He ask if I had a couple people to help unload and get it into the home which I did. He offered to use his personal truck to bring it to my home which was only 2 miles from store. Plan came together the following day as planned. We got safe into the home and when we unboxed it, we discover it took a blow during shipment to the store and was damaged so bad the door wouldn’t operate. He was a little disappointed, but still smiling and eager to satisfy his customer, loaded it up and took it back to store and returned with another one which we got safely installed. Josh and his crew went way above the call of duty in ensuring we were a satisfied customer. Words can’t express how thankful I am to them and to know that the golden rule is alive and well! Thank You All!

***TIRE DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION*** Sam's Club tire department (specifically the team lead Audric and Smith) made a horrific situation right. I ordered tires on the 14th of June with a expected delivery time of 4 days. Unfortunately the tires did not make it in that time and still hadn't as of the 25th of June. This was due to no fault to the tire department, but a shortage in that specific tire. Normally I would have time to play with but being that I am active military, I had to ship my vehicle to my next duty station by the 2nd of July from Charleston's Vehicle Processing Center. For those that aren't familiar with shipping a vehicle, it can be a headache (ie. ensuring that you have the proper paper work, gas levels, passes inspection and no open recalls). With that being said, tires were extremely important to make this possible. They not only found me a different brand of suitable tires they had on site, but they waived the labor fee and got them installed immediately. Thank you Audric and Smith for treating my vehicle as if it was your own and making a potential disaster obsolete! STRONGLY RECOMMEND! - AJ

Saturday 10.16.20 at 430p My mom and I came to shop and needed a tire check on the front passenger side the tire The rep explained he found a nail and could not plug it , needed a new tire...and it will take 45 mins We waited upon leaving we noticed the front passenger tire was not new. We asked to speak with our service guy;he just left for the day. The staff on duty offered to help. Management was called. Jada arrived then Jacob AsstMgr It was discovered the “back driver side tire was replaced but the old tire did NOT needed to be replaced.The tire had a nail but it did not go thru. The front passenger tire, the tire we asked to be checked had a nail but it was able to fix At this point Jacob ASM worked with TJ (Anthony) to fix everything Jacob stayed around and TJ was great he took over with Taylor assisting They removed the new tire & refunded us since we never needed a new tire and fixed the flat on the front. From my perspective Finding a nail in the wrong tire is not the issue Not fixing the tire in question and selling us a tire we never needed is a huge issue I don’t trust the tire shop I’m hoping the person who made the mistake was rushing and not trying to meet some type of tire quota he may be required to sell I would give 1Star but MsJada was so nice and helpful. Jada gave us a 50gift card for the inconvenience The tire staff was great. Taylor greeted us and TJ was very patient with my mom who is 84.

Unfortunately for Sam's Club, there is a tendency to compare it with Costco. The truth is, there is no comparison. Sam's employees are not as friendly or well-trained, the place is dirty. And the selection is not nearly as good. I doubt I will renew my membership when it expires

SAM's has year 'round products - - - in stock! If you're looking for clothing, food products, tv's, computers, Ipads - they have all that & more. Have some cats 'm dogs? They have food for them, too! Having a family get together, church picnic or business luncheon? Buy your supplies in bulk: Paper plates, plastic ware, cups, and just about all you need. Involved in janitorial services? The bulk of needed products will probably be found here. Fresh food, frozen food, milk, juice, cakes, cookies, with everything in between. Power out due to a storm? Purchase a portable generator here. Want some coffee while you wait for the power to be restored? Several different brewing machines are available to use with portable generator. I'm sure that I've forgotten a lot of products. Visit SAM's and browse the whole store and see everything! :) (01/12/19)

I was in need of new tires, and called to see if they had my size in stock.... Shawanna was very helpful and answered all my questions and I was able to have my car towed to the Club. We were greeted by Takoree who started working on my car very quickly upon it arriving. Matt and Talyor make the checking out fun and easy. Takoree even stayed late to make sure my car got finished. He even put my best remaining original tire on my spare for no charge. I have never been so impressed with a Sam's Club in my life. The whole crew is amazing and they make shopping enjoyable. *also wanted to thank Sam's Club for having a Keyboard and Drum Kit set up for my son to play on while we waited for the tires, they were fun!
