Lovely neighborhood South American bakery. Their thin crust pizza is a really good crispy salty crust. Their deep dish pizza is absolutely terrible (both times I've ordered it it was undercooked). We really like their flan and my toddler likes their bakery because it's not overly sweet.

Before Pizza y Pan Pa' Ya, I had never been to a Colombian bakery. I am so glad that I stopped by this bakery! This place was unlike other bakeries I have been to. At Pizza y Pan Pa' Ya, there were choices of authentic Colombian food like bocadillos, Colombian panela and much more. You can even order arepas, tortas, and classic sides like rice and beans. Along with all of this variety in the types of bread I could choose from, the staff was also very welcoming and made for an experience that I would like to repeat any day!

This is one of my two go to Columbian bread places. I STRONGLY recommend it here. The pan de bono is $1.50 each, which isn't too bad considering that they make the bread right next door. It's also a restuarant and sell good dishes. The hot chocolate is the absolute best part of here, especially on a cool day.

This place is the real deal. An original bakery popping out amazing pizza. It's awesome. The baked goods are perfection. And to top it off they have an amazing staff. I'm a stones throw away and I'm worried about how many pounds I'm going to gain. Worth it.

Big fan of the pizza here - the Hawaiian pizza in particular uses pineapple jam as a substitute for tomato sauce and it works so much better than expected. The pastries here are also tasty!

Authentic Colombian pastries and breakfast options. Amazing arepas and freshly squeezed orange juice. They've got all the basic Colombian pastries and traditional breakfast combos covered. Their almojabanas, pan de bonos, and pan de queso are wonderful! If you're Colombian and homesick, this is the place to go. They even play vallenato in the background and the staff is so welcoming and warm! Will come back and would recommend 5/5

A nice little Colombian bakery and pizza gem. Their breads and rolls look terrific, I'm not an expert in Colombian bakery items. And I'm on a diet. But I shared a large chicken and mushroom pizza with my son and it lasted us for days. Very, very tasty.

I checked this place out over the weekend for the first time. I had placed an order to go for Arepas, empanadas de queso, rice and beans for the family. Let me tell you.... Everything was DELICIOUS!!!! The arepas are huge and the empanadas were to die for. I also got a slice of strawberry cake for dessert and it was the perfect way to end the meal. I can't wait to try the pizza and the breads offered at this bakery!!! Highly recommend the food! Staff is also super friendly. Check it out! 😋😋😋😋

All the 5 star reviews are TRUE! The counter service was friendly and helpful thanks to Amarys (sp?). She explained the different pastries to me and made great suggestions to try. I bought buñuelos (deep fried), pan de bono (baked), chicken and beef empanadas, cheese arepas (sweet and savory) and deep dish veggie, sausage and pep pizza. All were delicious. The deep fried buñuelos were my fave, balance of cheese and dough! The deep dish was just as tasty - good enough to compare to Malnati's and Pequod's!

This place is awesome. One of the few true Colombian bakeries in the city that offers treats very similar to what I ate during my vacation in Cartagena. I love their pandebono and alfajores. Good natilla and flan, too but they also have really good food during the day. Their chicken arepa with cheese will fill you up, just be careful. It's served HOT!!!

This pizza. So good. Crazy good. It's not your typical deep dish though. It's not the one that makes you feel guilty. It's just honest to goodness flavors. We decided to have a chicken and cheese deep dish. Somehow they managed to get the crust to be perfect and buttery and the rest of it moist and juicy. It was the perfect combo. And it didn't take 45m either. We also had a small sausage and cheese. And something that simple was excellent. Not greasy and the same amazing crust only thinner. For starters we had the empanadas and arepa. All worthy. It's not going to be super high touch service -- mostly counter like service. There are plenty of tables around the corner too. It's deceptively large. Anyway. Enough of my rambling. Just go.

This is I e of the best Colombian Bakeries in Chicago. Make sure to try the Tamales and the Pan de Bonos. They serve some breakfast options and they also are becoming a popular spot for Non-Chicago style Pizza.

Comforting place, with all the things you might find in any panadaria in Colombia. All the food is good, but I don't think the bread was as good as the real thing and although we arrived within 2 hrs of opening, many things were already sold out. We ate there, and also bought a lot for home (1+hour drive) . My wife is Caleńa and she loved her morcilla, & empanadas were tasty, but I didn't think the different breads had the same "to die for" taste as I am used to in... say.. Barranquilla, or Armenia or even Cali for that matter. I bought a loaf of egg bread for home, and I'd be willing to bet it was day-old. All that said... I would reccomend this place. Its authentic and has quite a following! Maybe I'm just a bit spoiled by the real thing. We did not try, nor did I see anyone else try the pizza. Btw- you will also find Postobon, Colombiana, and Pony Malta.. colombian coffee obviously, and my Maracuya con auga was very good.

A beautiful and welcoming bakery and restaurant that serves Columbian pizza and authentic Columbian food. There are meat and non meat dishes, and meat eaters will be very happy here. There are nice breakfast options and delicious pastries. The balck coffee (tinto) was flavorful, and the cafe con leche is authentic and delicious. I can't wait to try the pizza on my next visit!

An amazing discovery and hidden gem. Super delicious Colombian food and pastries, e.g., the pande bono is the best I have ever tasted. But their ultimate delicacy is the Colombian tropical pizza. This pizza is like no other from the fresh and delectable crust to the scrumptious toppings. So unique and flavorful, this pizza should win a culinary award. A wonderful warm and friendly atmosphere that feels as if you have awakened in Colombia. And a great place to watch Colombian futbol. Dining while watching the World Cup game of Colombia versus England was something I shall always remember.
