Reviews of Myer's Bagel Bakery
Frank Sky
Excellent smaller chewy or bagel and I'm used to and what I think of is New York style. But I guess someone in one review said these are Montreal style but I didn't bother to ask. I like a denser bagel and I'm very fond of Iggy's in Cambridge Massachusetts so these fit my ideal well. It's a cool place in an old industrial building with some other neat businesses down by the water. Great coffee and the bagels come right out of the oven in front of you so it's cool to see everything being made. Friendly efficient service and help and they did a lively business early in the morning when I was there at 6:30 a.m. very definitely worth a try if you love bagels
Aaron Feick
What a unique place! The wood fired experience of Montreal styled bagels is captivating to watch!
I got the cowboy and the bacon/egg/cheese each of which left me wanting more!!! Would love to come back and get more!
Colleen
Delicious, fresh bagels. We tried a "kitchen sink" (everything+Montreal spice) with lox and veggie cream cheese plus all the trimmings. It was excellent. Good, strong drop coffee too. The service was fast but personable. No line on a weekday morning.
Leah Klein
We♥️♥️♥️ Myers Bagels. The bagels themselves are the best Montreal Bagels this side of the border and in fact better than many Montreal bagels. Their sandwiches are so good too! We fed our vegetarian, vegan and omnivore family very well here This smoked brisket sandwich was incredibly good. They also have gluten free bagels.
C C
They are slightly softer and obviously smaller than NY bagels. However I feel they are not as good as the ones in St-Viateur Bagel in Montreal. Myer’s Bagel are not soft enough and still gets dry within hours. This is still a good option if you don’t want to cross the border to Canada.
Norah DeWolfe
Best Montreal bagels I’ve ever had and I’ve been to Montreal! Staff are always friendly and the prices are reasonable. I would especially recommend the cinnamon raisin, Montreal spice, and rosemary sea salt.
Jason Merone
When I heard there was a Montreal style bagel place in Burlington I wasn't able to believe it. Finally managed to visit Myers and I won't lie, it's pretty close to what Montrealers get to enjoy. Good bagels to find here with a lot of variety to spice up your bagel selection. Definitely recommend.
Daniel DeCost
My cousin who owns a local restaurant in Burlington recommended we stop here for bagels on our way to the train station. WOW!!!
Breakfast sandwich - best I've had in a very long time. I'd come back just for this place.... And my cousin's place too ;)
Joseph Raczynski
Fine little bagel shop. Loads of options for your boil doughy wood fire treat. They are smaller than a NY bagel, with a bit more of a bite/crunch.
My bacon egg and cheese, on an everything was good, but the bagel lacked any salt, (see below) which detracted from the balance of the breakfast sandwich. Not sure if that's the norm or not.
David Ruderman
Excellent Montreal style bagels from a wood fired oven with outdoor seating. Good, casual, comforting yum.
Karen Miller
Best bagel bakery anywhere! We buy 4 dozen at a time and freeze them, because Burlington is an hour away from us. If you do this, make sure you slice them yourself at home before freezing.
Daniel Stepel (The last Baby Boomer)
So there is no mistake I am a Yid from the lower East Side of New York. I mention that so you can put full weight and measure to my following words. I know bagels and Meyer’s makes the best bagel I have ever had outside the New York, New Jersey area. I love that you can see the bagels being made. Gut arbet Meyer.
Rawad Elias
Hidden gem! The staff is super friendly and they don't rush you to place your order.
There are so many fresh bagels it's hard to choose from.
The lineup forms fairly quickly but it doesn't last very long.
Really enjoyed the "cowboy Dan". The turkey sausage is made in house.
The "pop tarts" were really good as well. A little pricey but delicious.
Ellie Dombrowski
Their gluten free bagels are vegan too! They’re so good. My favorite is the sesame bagel with tofutti cream cheese!!
Joshua Azarchi
Best bagels I’ve had outside of NYC and New Jersey. The owner is extraordinarily friendly and passed me a few bagels directly out of the oven into my hands while I was sitting. He also threw another. He’s been making bagels for 40 years and he’s damn good at it. They are extremely fresh, warm, doughy, with a perfectly crunchy exterior. Awesome find.
Libby Nicholaou
The best gluten free bagel I’ve ever had! I live in Brooklyn and will be buying a dozen of these bagels to take home with me.
Noah Gootkind
Myers is always a treat, authentic Montreal style bagels that are incredible on their own or in the incredible sandwiches they create. I cant recommend the ivan enough
David Rochberg
The Montreal-style bagels here are super tasty with excellent texture. The people are nice and the wood burning bagel oven makes the place super cozy
Stacey Wilson
It is one of my favorite breakfast spots. Honey water boiled and then wood fired on a plank bagels, with the best toppings you could ask for. Pure Magic ✨🙏💚🙏✨ …
Joseph A. Roberts III
This is a hidden gym, next to a used record store. The bagels are delicious, my favorite is seasonal, maple bagle with maple cream cheese! Coffee is free refils and they make nice bagle sandwiches. Call ahead if you are looking for a gluten free bagel, the had some Sat morning but when my friends and i stopped by Sunday they were sold out!
Douglas Patten
The Montreal Bagel is tasty, busting with lots of flavors. They include a good size portion of salmon on each bagel and compliment it with onions and capers.
James Dalgarno
This is home to my favorite bagel in the world. Not to play the "I lived in New York/New Jersey for most of my life" card, but I have, and these Montreal-style bagels are so much better than anything in NYC. I recommend trying the Montreal Spice!
Aaron Elliott
Conquer your hunger and become a Conquistador!! This place is fire (they typically have their fire going and cooking up bagels fresh)!! The amount of variety in bagels is supreme and the sandwiches and shmeers available create an almost endless amount of possibilities. Go here, be amazed, return again and realize you've barely scratched the surface. My only woe is I don't live here to experience this place more!
Stephanie Nickles
MUST STOP!!! best bagels I have ever had - and I'm not a big fan of bagels. 10/10 we went 3x on our vacation. watch the video on the website for the shops history - worth it
Kelsey Brandin
Absolutely delicious and unique sandwiches, served on handmade Montréal-style bagles in a trendy location. Couple with fresh, local ingredients and you've got the perfect encapsulation of what the Burlington culinary scene is all about: a community driven, unique, laid back place serving top notch food in a unique way!
Katelyn White
So. Freaking. Delicious.
The owner gave my friend and I a fresh bagel- straight from the oven using one of the long poles over the side wall. Definitely a spot to check out while in town.

Quality ingredients make delicious little Montréal-style bagels. Slightly sweet, good heartiness and chew. I loved that the whole wheat bagel had pieces of grain & bran, and no food colouring ! Kind staff.
The shop is slightly hidden from street view, but it's there !
George
The brisket hash is my personal favorite. I only come here a few times a year so that's what I always spring for. Can't go wrong there as it comes with an egg any style and bagel of choice, although the Montreal spice is the only real choice if you ask me.
Ian Downie
Myer's is an awesome spot to go for a morning coffee or an all-out breakfast. Their bagel with lox is quite good. Montreal-style bagels are hard to get used to and they don't have a big size iced coffee which is presumably a way to ward off people from Boston. I really like this place though I go here way more than any other bagel place in Burlington. Also their Breakfast sandwich is like $3.50 which is super awesome thank god for that
Alexandra Schiessl-Moore
My husband and I went here for breakfast. Wow, these are some of the best bagels we have had. Great texture and love the variety. The Montreal spice was so tasty, I had that with my sandwich (the “Squirrel”) and my husband got sesame sunflower seed for his. One of the employees kindly gave us an extra bagel. Rosemary sea salt. Holy buckets, SO GOOD. The wood fired oven was really neat too and it was fun to watch them make the bagels in there while we waited. My husband and I are only visiting Vermont and will be sure to come back here again.
E. ARTI Wulandari
We love their breakfast bagel sandwiches: McMyer for my hubby and Conquistador or Henchman for me👍👍👍 …
Emily Burdick
Delicious bagels that are smaller than average. The Montreal spice is pretty yummy. They even have lactose free and vegan cream cheese! 😍 …
James Riefstahl
HOMERUN! Asked the guy behind the counter what was can't miss, he immediately reached under the counter for a Montreal style bagel to try and share with my family. AWESOME!! we got two.
To top it all off, the owner is making the bagels right in front of you, in a brick oven, and giving out samples as he goes and talking with everyone. Super friendly, awesome out of the way can't miss place!!
Charlie Hadden
A Burlington colleague told us about this special place.
Good bagels and fabulous find. Cool shops around it.
Elizabeth Jarrard
Flavorful bagels (lovely variety of seasonings). They’re much smaller than your classic American bagels and the line can be long/flavors out on a weekend but worth a stop.
N P
Absolutely amazing. I got the Henchman with avocado, the lox bagel, veggie hash with brisket, and cinnamon raisin bagel with maple cream cheese. SO GOOD
Leah
Amazing outdoor seating to bask in the sun while you enjoy a delicious gluten free bagel.
Jeff
Conquistador.....definitely a killer mix of flavors on the Montreal bagel. I will definitely add it to my list of stops while in Burlington.
Food Advisor
I waited for my bagel for more than 20 minutes and I ordered just a lox bagel
👍 Bagel fresh and good
⚠️ If you looking for rose Mary you have to come earlier
Esteban Rubens
This is the real deal. Montreal-style bagels fresh from the oven, wonderful toppings, delicious sandwiches, beautiful setting.
Justin
Great place to have a quick breakfast. Bagels are good but not seasoned at all.
Gavin Sangrey
Best bagel shop we’ve found in Burlington. I ordered the Henchman on a rosemary salt bagel. My kids had a blast watching them boil and bake the bagels in the front. Will definitely be back when we visit Burlington again soon.
Amanda Wiley
I'm thrilled to have found a bagel shop that offers gluten free bagels!! They only offer a small selection as part of their daily offerings, but they will make anything for a custom order. I'm more than happy to order the day before to get my beloved onion bagels that I've had to give up since going GF. I still prefer a NY style bagel, these are quite small, and with their GF bagels even smaller, but I'm beyond thrilled to even have the option. If I were to nit-pick, I would say their bagels could use a bit of salt, they tend to be a bit bland on their own. The staff was really lovely and helpful, and I was happy to learn they have practices to prevent cross contamination. Would absolutely recommend!
T O
Best bagels for 100 miles - if you don’t mind the wait ;) - even better than many places in NY and Montreal
Robyn Kozierok
Best Montreal bagels anywhere, including Montreal itself. Try their unique Montreal spice bagel!
JWE
Great Bagel for a hangover. Only complaint is they were out of onion & everything bagels on a Saturday morning!! The is the Cowboy Dan. Egg, cheddar cheese & grilled peppers.
Chris Kolacz
Stopped in to see what the line was about. Changed my day. Excellent food. Excellent coffee.
Brendan Walsh
Pretty awesome. Bagels are a little smaller than you'd expect for the price, but densely packed with flavor. Cool staff, great location.
Kayla Newcomb
Hands down the best bagel breakfast sandwich I have ever had! My first time trying a Montreal spiced bagel as well and I totally get the hype. Also really cool to see the exposed wood-fire oven and watch the bagels be made.
Jo Lord
My favorite bagels in Vermont! Their little café is cute and they offer breakfast sandwiches, coffee and lots of other yummies. A favorite local spot
Joseph
Great woodfire bagels and local staff! Walked away with the everything, Montreal spice and rosemary bagels loved them all. Montreal spice cream cheese/spice is solid! Lots of sandwiches and schmears to choose from
Topher C.
Love this place! It’s a must try for anyone looking for great food. Went late in the day so choice of bagels was slimmer than usual but I’m glad I did or else I wouldn’t have tried the Montreal bagel. Homemade corn chowder was fantastic 🤩 …
Shaun Robinson
Best bagels in Burlington. The montreal spice flavor is a must-try. Lots of fun breakfast sandwich options as well. Plus, you can watch them make the bagels while you wait!
Anthony Sciuto
Everything bagel w/ cream cheese was great. More flavorful than other bagel shops in the area. Iced coffee was a good neutral roast.
Alicia Hsu
Fantastic bagels and staff. They make all bagels by hand. Be sure to try the Montreal spice bagel.
Mike Taylor
Amazing bagels. If you find yourself in Burlington. The bagels are so fresh and delicious. They also have home made gluten-free bagels .
Delicious. I got the everything l, everything with lox and the works (yummmmm) and my wife had bacon egg and Swiss on an everything GF (yummmmm).
Alexis Bauer
I was new to Montreal style bagels. Very tasty, although I wanted more salt in the dough. Service was great - especially because I was there right before close. Andy helped me and even chatted with me about different products and spreads and such.
Liza Cannon
100% best bagels in the state. Montreal style. They say that perhaps Montreal was the true birthplace of the bagel. I know that will cause fierce debate. All you need to know is that Myer's does bagels right. The last time I went there, I teared up; I was struck by how glad I am that they exist. Note: don't be a fool, get a bag of their bagels and eat them all while they're still hot.
Damien Guy
Love the bagels here! Wood fired Montreal style. Always a hit
Sarka Paska
10/10 gluten free bagel, the place is super cute and charming with some of the best bagels and home made cream cheezes I’ve had
Hannah Moriarty
This is a gem. My siblings live in the area and everytime I visit I have to get Myers. Their Montreal bagel is a work of art.
Bagels are hand rolled, double boiled, and baked in a brick oven. Do your taste buds a favor and go get a Myers bagel. They are recognized by locals as the best.
Cody Lanpher
Great tasting bagels, cool to see them being made.
ECO TAICHI
Good service! Awesome bagels and cream cheese. I order a couple bakers dozen, sliced. Sometimes a few containers of veggie cream cheese too. Makes a quick breakfast for the family during the week.
David G
Great staff, and the Montreal seasoning was really good. Got half everything and half Montreal, solidddddd. Cool area too.
Arya Moallem
EXCELLENT and reasonably-priced bagels. The 'Montreal spice' and rosemary sea salt are both particularly good. They also offer homemade gluten-free bagels, which are the best my friends have ever had.
K I
I had never had a bagel cooked in a wood fired oven before. Really flavorful product, with a great crunchy crust and pillowy interior. We stopped here on a chill, rainy day and the oven really made the inside of the restaurant warm and cozy. They were also offering a wood fired pork hand pie which was fantastic. Served room temp, I would have loved it warm, but it was really fresh, had a high quality filling of the pork, apples, onions, cabbage and cheese, and the pastry was so flaky. Like stupid flaky.
Amber Joy
Myer's always makes great sandwiches with delicious flavor combos. However they're not my favorite style of bagel - too small and dense for me. These are more on the pretzel-side than bagel-side. They also don't age well. By the next day they will be rocks. I prefer chewy, New York city style bagels. Not to say that Myer's is bad, I go there on occasion. Though they are not my first choice to get a bagel in Burlington.
Tayler Engel
Best bagels I’ve ever had. I love all of their bagels and flavored cream cheeses, you really can’t go wrong. They are usually fire baking bagels in the open oven as well which is cool to watch. I’d recommend the rosemary sea salt bagel over anything.
Edit: noticed the quality of service declining recently. Had a couple rude younger employees take my order. Last two orders were missing 1 out of 4 of the sandwiches and had to got back. Last order had about as much cream cheese as you’d expect on 1 spread out across 4 on them. What I’m I paying for here? Love this place and go here regularly, but it’s a pain to have problems noted above happening regularly.
Tully Fletcher IV
This place is outstanding. It is located in a warehouse on the edge of town, not the typical bagel place. But the bagels are really good, the coffee is good and the service is great.
They have loads of flavors too choose from. We got half a dozen and they were all tasty. The day old beer flavor is really unique a must try if you like beer. They also have a sun flower & sesame seed flavor.
The bagels are Montreal style, not New York style. You can watch them bake them in their giant brick oven.
Paul Hahn
We wish the owners well ... love their story. Unfortunately, our experience did not match the 4.7 rating. My wife and I ordered egg sandwiches. My eggs had a strange taste. My wife did not eat hers because she expected scramble eggs and they were fried, which she personally does not like.
Gian Carlo
They can be inconsistent in bagel prep, depending on who is making it: burned bagel outer, sloppy formation of sandwich, too much onion, etc. Drinks are way overpriced. $3.25 for iced tea?!
But when made properly here, excellent Montreal style bagels. Crisp, thinner, and the big hole in the middle. I had the onion bagel with gravlax, and it was super. Love the tomato in it and the crispy onions. Great consistency. Crunchy. Not too much cream cheese, and perfect locks.
Wish they had just a "kosher salt bagel" option.
Sometimes friendly service, chill parking lot benches. Sometimes cranky service.
Management should work on consistency and making the interior more presentable rather than ramshackle.
Marguerite Jacques
I stop here every time I am visiting Burlington. The food is always top notch!
Jennifer Fendt
I’m from New Jersey and these are the best bagels I’ve ever had. I love the rosemary sea salt, sunflower sesame and Montreal spice. They often sell out of these varieties quickly so I always call ahead and the owner and staff are always incredibly friendly when I place my order for a couple dozen. They’re are so flavorful, all you need to do is toast one and add a little butter.
Mark Hall
I would have given five stars, but I am a New York Style bagel man. They are open super early, which is great for us risers. I highly recommend the Everything bagel with anything, but the Smoked Trout is a must based on my last visit.
Geno Villafano
Bagels will never be the same...
Bagel quality alone is enough to make the trip, but they also have delicious bagel creations/sandwiches that showcase an array of fresh ingredients.
Daniel De Oliveira
Words cannot describe how amazing these bagels are. Go there and you will see what I mean!
Nitin Shah
Delicious bagels, great service. Get it on Montreal Spice.
adolfo alonso
This is my favorite breakfast joint. My co-workers and I always get the bacon, egg and cheese. Their sandwiches are the perfect bagels-filling ratio. Just try to get there early or call to check their selection because they sell out quick.
Kevin Cordes
Best breakfast in Burlington. Very unique way of cooking their bagels. Bacon was so ridiculously amazing. Very memorable spot!
Robin Bullis
Very tasty bagels. First time having "montreal style" definitely a sweeter dough which was lovely for my cinnamon raisin and my hubby said onion was equally as good. I would have tried every flavir if I could. Very good service with cute outside seating and next to a great bookshop if you have some time.
Marcus Severin
One of the best bagels I've ever had. The staff is incredibly kind and genuinely proud of their product. It was great watching the bagels go in and out of the oven, the guy even gave us a bagel right out of the oven, which was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. These bagels are just darn good!
Natalie Wood
Delicious! Loved that you could watch them make the bagels while waiting on the order and they make great pastries as well!
michelle W.
We enjoyed the bagels here, they are not boiled but still very good. Coffee was great, generous with the cream cheese, I'd go back if given the chance. Of the 5 bagel places we tried, this was our 3rd favorite.
Kaitlyn Robertson
As a New Yorker, I’ll say that these bagels hit the spot!!! When we walked in we knew we found a gem and picked up a dozen and tried 2 different cream cheeses. SO DELICIOUS! Perfect Sunday spot after a weekend of camping.
Jonathan Hallisey
Awesome bagel shop! Love this place. The bagels ajd sandwiches are reasonably priced, quick, and delicious. Fresh baked bagels daily or they sell half dozens to take home.
Kelly Moss
I got the rosemary sea salt bagel sandwich and it was AMAZING! My fiancé got the trout sandwich and loved it so much he wanted to order a second.
For a quick stopover for breakfast this place is perfect. We will definitely swing by any time we drive through town!
The door isn't super obvious. It's to the right of the little antique shop on the side of the warehouse. There's a small 'bagels' sign that kind of blends in.
The people were efficient and quickly got us our food. Brought it out to our table too.
We liked seeing the brick oven and watching the bagels be made.
Amanda Chase
I love this place - it's our neighborhood bagel shop. The people who work there are always friendly and happy to tell you about the bagel making process. They're great with kids and often show them how to make dough into a bagel. It's fun to watch the bagel making process right in front of you, and the bagels are delicious. My favorites are the Montreal spice bagel and the Ivan sandwich.
Eric Bliven
Best bagels in the Champlain Valley. Excellent sandwiches too.
Chris Chamberlin
Best bagels ever - just go!
Anna
I am so grateful for the delicious gluten free bagels. Their “Montreal” flavoring has a unique most delicious assortment that I can’t get enough of. Nowhere else in town offer homemade gluten free bagels and even so, I don’t think anyone could compare to the variety of gluten free. I will travel out of my way to treat myself to Myer’s bagels whenever I can. I highly recommend!!
K
My go to when I need a Montreal like bagel...and I live in California. I miss Montreal bagels and Myer's helps fill the need. Obviously I have to freeze them once they arrive and I can only have them toasted at that point. Thank you. I will be ordering again soon.
Vernon Michael Hutchings
I never had a Montreal style bagel before I moved to Burlington, Vermont. Now I can't even eat the other kind of bagels. Sometimes I try cuz I do have a fond memory of what they were like. But now every time I buy one of those regular bagels it's either like eating a pillow or chewing elastic. I buy Myer's by the dozen and put them in my freezer.
Eliza Sandra
Even though it was busy (around 1pm on Saturday in January), I received my order in under 10 mins and it was piping hot, delicious, and a lot more food than $10 would have gotten me at other restaurants in the area. Definitely recommend!
Joshua MacDonald
Wanted to try a Montreal bagel and wasn’t disappointed. The gluten free bagel was also really good according to my wife. I had a delicious egg sandwich. Will definitely go back for more bagels.
Jo Lord
Cool spot, not busy. Off the beaten path. Plenty of seating. Yummy bagels!
joseph poulin
These are the best bagels on earth! I go here at least once a week. The bagels are booked then baked in a stone woodfired oven. Awesome! They could use some better coffee though. You can sit here but it's more of a takeout place. It's cool to watch them make the bagels..... Fun!
Garrett Watson
Great little bagel joint - just a few steps off the road, between a book shop and a market.
The bagels are spot-on Montréal style.
Service was fast and friendly, there was a lineup to the door the entire time (and rightfully so), but it wasn't hard to get a seat or a long wait.
We had breakfast sandwiches, and they were simple and delicious. Lots of coffee and juices to choose from in the shop.
As two Montréalers down for a visit, we'll be back soon!
Mieneke Maher
Doesn't look like much from the outside but as soon as you enter and see the actual wood fired oven and the bagel master in action you know you are somewhere great. First watch the bagels being made then get a dozen of bagels. I recommend the Montreal spice bagel with a tub of the Montreal spice cream cheese. Get a cup of coffee, open the bag and rip off pieces of bagel, dip into the cream cheese and enjoy the live show.
Bjorn2bwild
When I first had an everything bagel I thought to myself there is no way a bagel can get any better than this ... boy was I wrong. The Montreal seasoned bagel is as a famous portugese chef would say "another notch".
Let's just say that during our visit to Burlington we had Myer's Saturday morning and then went back on Sunday and got two bagels each. One to eat there and one for the road!
Like the place wasn't awesome enough watching them make the bagels while you are waiting is mesmerizing.
Emily Sorensen
We went for a late lunch. A little slim on the pickings for bagels. We will have to go in the morning next time...just not at 4am, when they open!
Our bagel sandwiches were delicious and my 3 year old ate most of mine. Next time, she will get her own. We will be back!
Also, this place was a little hidden. It’s set back from the street. Some additional signage would be great for first timers trying to find it 😉
Evan Teixeira
I LOVE this place. I say that, and you think you understand, but you don't. Best bagels I've ever had. And I mean it. I've considered ordering them online and shipping them over 600 miles to my apartment in Michigan. Again, you have no idea. Just fantastic.
Kate Cartwright
I've been getting bagels at Myer's for over 14 years and they are hands down the BEST bagels you can get south of Montreal. My favourite is a toasted Montreal Spice bagel with Montreal Spice cream cheese - over the top awesome!! Lloyd is the sweetest guy and has become a family friend...my daughter begs me to take her to Myer's on the weekends so she can get a piece of dough from Lloyd to play with :-). Now that they have a full cafe again, I love trying their inventive soups and salads and tasty baked goods...there's always something new and delicious!!
lisa ohashi
Amazing bagels, the best I've ever had. They have such a great aftertaste, always wanting more. They are ugly, but don't let the look fool you. They are amazing!!!
Joshua Carnes
Myer's is always a must whenever we're in town. Montreal style bagels are a real treat. Can't wait to go back.
Emily Menzel
Montreal style bagels are just the best. I grew up near NYC, so you'd think I'd be partial to my native New York style bagel. That all changed the minute I tried Myers. I also appreciate the sort of place that looks like a hole in the wall from the outside, but is secretly filled with amazing food.
Farmer Bee
Truly excellent bagels in a wonderful funky ol’ store. Was hoping for greatness and it exceeded our expectations. They are doing a great many things right at this bagel shop, including a delicious lavender bouchon. What a perfect ideal lunch we had!
VJT 2018
Delicious bagels ! Also a pretty kid friendly environment. They've generously provided a box full of toys for little customers. My 3 yr old's love coming here. It's spacious inside with the option of sitting outside at a couple picnic tables. Relaxed environment with delicious Bagels. We love it here!
Eric K
Don't be turned off by the outside "flea market" like appearance. They make great bagels and I enjoyed my sandwich. Would have been a 5 but I went specifically for a maple bagel that I saw on the website but I was told they don't make them anymore.
Emily Lalone Ianuario
Phenomenal. Tucked back. Early morning. Friendly smiles. AWESOME bagels sandwiches. A great find.
Ryan Rowe
Everything was very good. Service was friendly. Hash was a bit salt forward and over medium was really over hard.
Had the everything bagel, it was good.
Wife had the rosemary and salt bagel, but it to me was a little uninspired. Not as salt forward as I would have thought/liked.
They gave us a sample of the Montreal spice bagel and it was very good.
If I did it again I'don't get the Montreal spice.
Merrill Allen
This place feels really old-timey. Very much a community driven space. It's a little quirky but filled with friendly people. The bagels are delicious (albeit a bit skimpy) and everything is cheap and yummy and fresh made. Set back from the road somewhat so you can look over the lake when you wait outside for your bagel.
Andrew Swift
Local favorite off Pine Street. A bit hard to find, so just look for the clapboard sign posted on the West side of the street at the entrance. The bakery is hidden off the road but parking is plentiful. Great Montreal bagels, as well as a wide selection of other flavors and cream cheese. Cozy tables. Sorry, no pets allowed. Staff is friendly and fast with orders, but call ahead a couple days for party orders and before holidays (ask about holiday hours). Highly recommended! Hours 4am - 4 pm.
Marc Scrivener
We stopped in on recommendation from a friend while on vacation. Don't be dissuaded by the appearance from the road. This place rocks! It's sooo hard to get good bagels and these are amazing, and the vibe is super chill. Plan for a little wait at peak times, as it's very popular; however, they move the line quickly.
Betty Collins
Meyer's Bagel is my 1st breakfast stop the 2 times a year I visit Burlington. It is easy to drive past and the appearance isn't all that but never judge a book by its cover. Bagels and bagel sandwiches and speciality bagel sandwiches are amazing. Bacon egg and cheese on a Montreal bagel is so good. The bacon is undescribably delicious. Bagels with eggs and avocados and siracha and almost any combination you can think of. Try it, you not only will like it but you will love it!
Kenneth M Martin Jr
Excellent, made on site, fresh bagels and sandwiches. Nice variety of alternatives as well. I just thought the price could be a little bit cleaner. But obviously that is my opinion

Delicious bagels! They are just the right size, fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. Was able to watch the bagels being made and was lots of fun; owner was very nice. Highly recommend!!
Devin Littlefield
Fantastic bagels at great prices! Would highly recommend the place. The building is a bit tucked away off the main road and the inside of the bakery shows some local color, but it’s a great place for anyone looking for some true Montreal-inspired bagels.
Raven Bona-Ide
I had trouble choosing a bagel because there weren't any out. I also had trouble with the service, but to be fair I'm quiet and their music is loud, so my order was not right. I did not feel they catered to vegetarians readily. In short a list of available bagels, an extra egg for those who don't want to eat flesh.
Ashley Williams
Their fresh bagels are hands down the best bagel you will ever have. When you go in to the store the bagels are straight put of the oven and you can buy a tub of cream cheese for the table and go to town. On top of that, the price is low, which is rare in Burlongton, VT, especially for bagels. My favorite is the Montreal bagel.
Stella Grenn
Amazing bagels and breakfast sandwiches. The Ivan is highly recommended. You can watch the bagel making process while you wait in line. There’s enough parking but the lot is riddled with pot holes. And it can get super crowded on weekend mornings, but the line moves relatively quickly.
Ewing Fox
A true Burlington institution! Fantastic Montral style bagels, wood fired, cheery and slightly sweet from the quick boil in honeyed water. Try the Montreal Spicy - herbier than most, pairs well with the Bacon Scallion cream cheese. Get em fresh and I prefer them untoasted - often, they'll still be warm from the oven!
Jana Newman
We ordered over 100 bagels for a post-wedding brunch and they were delicious! Amazing choice of flavors and awesome customer service. Definitely recommend working with Myer's!
Pete Bruhn
One of my fave breakfast spots in btv. Their bagels are Montreal style, so if you're looking for a NY style bagel go elsewhere. I'm a huge fan of the Montreal spice bagel. Perfect with just cream cheese or the Ivan (egg, brie, avocado and Sriracha).
shawn
Myer's is a hole in the wall, but they do Montreal style bagels and have a smoker where they do brisket and other items. Variety of Breakfast/Lunch sandwiches (on bagels), affordable and quite good. Strongly recommended.
Madelene Rabi Bernard
We tried about 4 bagel sandwiches and each was absolutely delicious! Totally worth a trip!
Go prepared for a line at the counter.
Table service is available and they have gluten free options if needed.
Kate
Oooooo gurl these bagels. These bagel sandwiches. These cream cheeses they have. All of it is SO tasty! Try their montreal-style bagel with any combination - it's super savory and delicious.
Kevin Cafferky
Best bagels in town, hands down. Get there early and have some warm ones right out of the oven. Recommend the Montreal Spice Bagel with Jalapeno cream cheese.
William Wolf
It's so good
Swami
Best bagels I've ever had. Their soups are in the must-have category. The chocolate chip cookies are out of the world. To top it all off, the service is beyond excellent. Only gripe is that there are no sign-boards on the road to indicate there is such a wonderful gem hidden inside. We drove past the place twice to finally locate it.
jon gurney
Highly recommend! Myer’s is a gem situated in Burlington with an authentic Montréal style feel! These bagels will not disappoint as well as their selection of breakfast toppings and lunch options! A must go-to!
Tim Tierney
Bagels we had were awesome ...the wood fired oven smell pulls you in as you are walking from your vehicle 👍 …
Troy Frostad
Wood-fired bagels are the main attraction here. They offer soup and sandwiches which are all very good. It is easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. The only downside is the really long line when busy.
William Drake
Fresh delicious bagels and a super friendly staff. You can watch them hand roll the bagels and put them in their wood fire oven, or sit outside and enjoy the view of lake Champlain and the Adirondack mountains.
Sarah Casey
The best bagels and bagel sandwiches in the world. I've been to St-Viateur Bagel in Montreal and this place is far more impressive. Very friendly and down-to-earth establishment. A must for a trip to Burlington!
Kate Castonguay
My Dad has Celiac and they have true GF options which made him feel comfortable. The bagels we're great, not too heavy. I got the Montreal spiced fingerlings as well and they were delicious.
Tristan Leeds
Hot DAMN! My 1st real Montreal styled bagel experience defeats ALL NYC styled & imitation grocery chain bagels! Honey boiled, hand rolled, fire baked, and also a sexy texture resembling a bialy!
Maranda Nielson
This is my favorite place for bagels in Burlington! They are delicious. They are also priced really well and service is always great. It is a popular place so there can be a line.
Felipe Adan Lerma
Great place, wonderful memories from a few years ago when my wife and I stayed in Burlington (her home town) for a year and a half. Wonderful fresh bagels, friendly folk. Went by there last night at Art Hop 2014. They've expanded, but kept their grand down home atmosphere.
William Kottner
Lots of hype, bagels were tough, size of tiny donuts - 1/2 the size of Burlington bagels and less flavorful, definitely not up to New York water bagel standards
Andy Newhall
I should start by saying I'm partial to the "Montreal Style", and totally understand that is a love-it-or-hate-it differentiator in the bagel world. However, I suppose I would tell those who don't know there is such a difference (New York vs. Montreal), that this is a perfect place to discover the unique qualities of the Montreal style bagels, besides the city of origin, of course.
Lisa T
This is my favorite bagel place of all time! Sesame-sunflower is my favorite, followed by the rotating tap. The bagel size is perfect & dough flavor is unique & delicious. Rustic place, hope it never changes.
M. Sekhon
I moved here from Brooklyn and was pretty upset with the bagel selections up here until I tried Myers. Definitely the best bagels in the area— but I do question the choice to leave salt off the everything bagel.
Shane Lawrence
By far, best bagel ever. A unique way of making their bagels, one unlike I've had. This is worth going out of your way for and you'll want more than one.
Edward Godlee
sometimes i wish that the bagels were a little bit bigger, or the hole smaller, but then i start to eat the bagel and i forget all about it because it is so tasty and they have so many toppings and delicious cream cheese options
A Truitt
Had a bike race in town, my buddies got me a Bacon, Egg & Cheese for breakfast after my early race - it was absolutely fantastic. When we were leaving town, we went back to get more, we all enjoyed the lunch options and coffee too.
molly shanley
I’ve eaten many breakfast sandwiches in my 30 years and this one remains the best. Don’t underestimate an egg, cheddar, and bacon breakfast sandwich on a rosemary salt bagel. I wish I could eat one of these every day but I live too far away
Katie Hatch
Absolutely hands down the best bagels in Vermont! Montreal style wood fired bagels. Local favorite - get in early or risk them being sold out!
Edgar Stone
Really good bagels. I particularly enjoy taking a few home to put in my mouth while I'm in this part of town.
Aayush Jain
Nice little bakery with awesome people. Love the Montreal spice bagel, had it about 4 times and gonna take some home to DC with me too!
Alden Conant
Myer’s Montréal Spice bagel. Just the best. No visit to Burlington is complete without a stop at the bakery for a juicy bagel sandwich and to watch the amazing wood fired action.
Joseph Colonna
Get the whitefish spread with veggies. Every bagel is awesome. Lots o' gluten free stuff. Awesome area. Staff is grumpy in the best possible way (still super nice and helpful). Go here.
Angela Welch
Delicious bagels! A must have if you’re in Burlington or Vermont. Rosemary Salt with Jalapeño cream cheese is to die for.
Jeffery Theis
If you truly appreciate bagels, nothing beats Montreal-style. These are easily as good as the Montreal bagel Mecca’s.
Even if it’s a bit of a drive it’s worth it.
Crystal Butzlaff
Rosemary sea salt bagel is delicious! Th e cinnamon bagel with maple cream cheese was excellent. My husband loved the henchman sandwich.
Shahzad Zia
These might be my favorite bagels ever, and I’m from New Jersey.
Jessica Verdinez
Love that they still bake their bagels in an old fashion brick oven with firewood! The bagels are excellent and the variety of cream cheese are so oro creamy.
Mya Brown
Amazing experience. The staff is so personable :) and food was delicious. I will be coming back for sure!! They also have a huge selection!! And vegan options available
McKinley Blues
A friend raved about these bagels, so he sent a couple packs of them to me in Atlanta. They certainly didn't disappoint! I can't wait to stop by on my next trip to Burlington.
Irwin Lieb
Has Montreal bagels methods down pat,. Great smoked brisket highly recommend very reasonable bagel price for a Baker's dozen
Jason Hao
They have fantastic Montreal style bagels, especially great if you get them fresh out of the oven. Coffee is also very good.
Kelly Andres
Best bagels!!!! These Montreal style bagels top by beloved NYC bagel. We're spending our anniversary in VT specifically for the bagels.
shortieXV
Great staff. Great atmosphere. Not much seating but since that is the case I recommend stopping in early and just grabbing a bunch of fresh morning bagels for your co-workers. Easy way to make friends fast. 😁 …
Doreen Ng
Myers serves a Delicious small-size, Montreal-style, flavor-packed bagels with great sandwich fillings such as juicy half fatty brisket or egg, bacon and ham bagelwich.
Highly recommend!
I got the breakfast-style bagelwich that had sprouts, ham, egg, bacon, cheese accompanied with Natalie orange juice.
Juicy, springy ham, crispy crunchy bacon was perfect in the morning. Great pick me up.
Winter Solistice: half-fat-half-lean brisket, topped with a mozzarella slice and scrambled egg. The brisket was amazing and delicious. This alone would be perfect.
I could have done without the scrambled egg. The mozzarella didn't add much to the sandwich but it was a great brisket sandwich.
Clean facilities.
Renee Jordan Ward
This place is amazing!!!! The food is great (beer bagel was SO good) and the staff is friendly and fun. You can watch them baking the bagels right in front of you! Best breakfast spot in VT.
Tiana Valyou
Amazing!! Multiple gluten free options and SUPER good food! I had the Surf & Turf on my first bagel in about 2 years and couldn't be happier!
Carlene Wood
Bagels baked in an open flame!! Best bagels ever and so many flavors. Fun and great service. We won't go anyplace else for bagels.
Nick Heisler
Outstanding Caprese on plain bagel and fingerling potatoes.
Martin Gold
This bakery is in a ramshackle building on a bad part of Pine Street but the bagels are among the best in the country. The bagels are made in Montreal style in wood fired ovens on premises.
Nick Willey
Great bagel options and cream cheese flavors. Montreal seasoning cream cheese is amazing.
Greg Schoppe
If you ever need an early morning breakfast in Burlington, Meyers is the place to come. The bagels are fantastic (get the Montreal spice) and the sandwiches are filling (the Cowboy Dan and the Ivan are my go-to choices, but it's hard to make a choice you'll regret)
Gabe Harwood
Best bagel in town! Their inventive sandwiches are also a great way to start or continue your day. Get the Ivan, its delicious.
Ben Perchinsky
Good Bagels and Coffee, I wouldn't drive across town to go back but I'd stop by if I were hungry and in the neighborhood.

Janine Lagundzin
Staff come out from behind the counter to take orders which is very efficient. Staff were polite. Their bagels are delicious. Great juice selection.
Jimmy Lin
These bagels are just a little different, in a good way! While there wasn't a plethora of sweet-side bagels, the maple bagel was fantastic!
Amar Mehta
I've only been once but really enjoyed the egg and cheese I had on a rosemary and sea salt bagel.
Ben Sheed
A staple for me and my friends. We love the 921. A little expensive for the quantity of food you get but the service is lighting fast, even when they are busy.
Martia Corin
Turn around...how could we have not bought a couple of extras for the road? I'm craving one already. These bagels make you want to eat more than one. Don't forget that. The lines get long.
Rachel Alberico
They have an expansive and creative menu of bagels and sandwiches, there's a combination here for every palate. Don't be intimidated if it's crowded, the service is excellent and quick.

Bagels are the obvi star / great schmears / friendly and patient staff (imperative when you need time to study the menu) / make sure to get a selfie with the bagels+staff / you'll feel the need to order seconds and thirds - trust that instinct
