Delicious bagels and fast service. The line is always long, but don't worry it's not slow. Seasonal flavors this year: French Toast and Pumpkin Spice. The pumpkin spice bagel is more savory than sweet which I was pleasantly surprised.

Always a great place to stop for a quick breakfast while on the way to work, traveling, or waking down Shelburne Rd. They have a big assortment of muffins as well and their drink cooler is always stocked. They have a decent coffee selection. Speeder and Earl’s and can make a few specialty coffee drinks as well. Their salad and sandwich selection is pretty extensive as well for a bagel place. My only gripe would be that their wraps aren’t that big and they don’t really stuff them full.

Great staff. Reasonable prices. The only mark off - barely a complaint, just an observation- the setup is weird. 1. Tell them what you want at the counter 2. Go to the cashier 3. Tell a different person what you just ordered It works fine, it's just a little weird. I guess food gets made quicker that way? I just imagine it being confusing if things get busy. Also, if you *need* to go to the cash register to order coffee order coffee, so if you're *just* getting a drink you might end up waiting in the "food" line first, depending how many people are being rung up. Everything else is great. Clean tables, good food, good service - even the bathrooms are clean!

Definitely a fast paced bagel place with lots of bagel and cream cheese flavor options. Sandwiches are generous, soup specials are delicious and there are always little baked goods to take to go.

I live in Colchester, so don't come here often, but always a treat when I do. My go to is the New Yorker on Poppyseed Bagel sandwich or Poppyseed Bagel with Olive cream cheese. Even though today was Wednesday before Thanksgiving and it was busy, think I was in and out in less than 15 minutes on the way to work. Excellent menu, friendly & efficient staff!

Traveling to Vermont for the weekend and came here for breakfast two of the three mornings. First day I had the 802 specialty sandwich. And the second day I had the BBB breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious. I went with 4 other people and everyone enjoyed the food they ordered. The drinks were also amazing. Loved that they had Queen City Kombucha in store too!

There is a lot to love about Burlington Bagel Bakery. Our family has enjoyed ordering from here for literally decades. Honestly, the bagels are very good but not excellent. Everything else? Love it. The staff may make mistakes every once in a while but this place is generally very well staffed, they work really hard, and almost all of them seem to really care about running a great shop. It shows when you get in a massive weekend line only to be out the door with your food as if the place only had a trickle of customers. Their ingredients are high quality. The baked goods are some of my favorite from anywhere, particularly their muffins. While not at the level of your favorite cafe, their espresso drinks are great and well priced. There is only one thing I don't like about Burlington Bagel Bakery: there is no way to order online.

I once ordered the Catamount with a veggie sausage, and a side order of the hash brown. The person put the hash brown *in the sandwich* and it's been my favorite thing ever since! Super thrilled with this happy accident, and I've been ordering the exact same combination for well over a year now.

Love the bagels, but hot damn! They must make a FORTUNE on their overpriced beverages. Stopped in twice this week; $5 for a guayaki yerba drink ($2.79 most places) on the first visit, and i vowed not to make that mistake again. Ordered a large maple latte on the second visit and was charged NINE DOLLARS! Even Starbucks would blush at those prices. Stick to the bagels and grab a beverage from the gas station!

While they were constantly out of the jalapeno everything bagel they have a lot of options. The bagels are soft and delicious and reasonably priced. They also offer sandwiches, I really enjoyed the BLT on cheddar jalapeno bagel. There is usually a line here but you are not waiting excessively long. Lastly I was not a fan of the coffee and I tried two different flavors. It also seems they have a little difficulty keeping the carafes refilled.

They have the best bagels in the area. Love their Vermont Country bagel. Would have posted 5 stars but when we tried to do curbside pick up, they took our order and payment, told us to call when we arrived and they would bring out the order, but then were too busy to bring out the order. We tried to call multiple times but finally had to go in to get our order. Then had to wait in line anyway to get the order. They tried to get us to pay again because they had not marked our order as paid. It took a while, but finally got everything sorted out.

This place has the best bagels on the planet. I drive 40 minutes out when I am craving a bagel because it's the only place worth it. I'd give 5 stars, but in the last 2 weeks I've drove out there 3 times now to find the place closed "for cleaning". I find it hard to believe they need to shut down this often for cleaning, especially when their business closes at 3 and they could easily do it after hours. My assumption is they are struggling with staffing. Either way, it's getting really frustrating and I might stop trying to do business there.

I got the triple B sandwich and it was very good! I've never had hash browns in a breakfast sandwich before, and I highly recommend. I also really liked that out front they had day old bags of bagels and treats for a discounted price. Its really nice that they don't want their bagels go to waste!

I do prefer their bagels to every other place in town but recently they stopped making their own hummus, which was the entire reason I went there, and now use a cheap pre made industrial hummus. I’m so sad. I used to even buy the hummus separately. It had chick peas and black beans and was amazing. The new hummus is the stuff you could buy at any grocery store but a bit worse. I understand why they made this decision thinking it is cheaper this way and not an important input in the business, but I disagree. I won’t be returning since I’m not really a bagel person but the hummus was good enough to get me in there :)

We tried 5 different bagel places during our visit to Burlington. This was definitely our favorite! I tried the jalapeno cheddar, it was out of this world!! Not too spicy, very cheesy, and still warm from the oven. We are sick over our decision to try another place instead of going back here on our last day !! Coffee was also fantastic!

We are not from this area. The bagels are are the best I have had in a long time. I had the everything bagel with cream cheese. My husband has the New Yorker. Both were delicious. Light and crispy. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is a bagel lover.

The flavors in this place are bold. Had an almond milk latte. Very stout, I kinda like my coffee strong so it was enjoyable. If you don't, make sure your sweetener is in it. Even a simple ham, egg, and cheese bagel tastes complex. More seating than I expected. Steady stream of customers, friendly staff. Wheelchair accessible.

We ordered a bagel with cream cheese, and two bagel sandwiches. We loved the bagels, and the bagel with cream cheese was perfectly made. The sandwiches both tasted good, and the veggies, meat, and cheese are all fresh. Our one issue is that the sandwiches were hastily made- one half of each sandwich had 4x as much meat on one half than the other half because of the way it was folded. The result was a 2 layer side and an 8 layer side, which was fine but I prefer it to be at least slightly more even than that. Overall good food and friendly staff!

Great bagels! It was 11am and no restaurants opened til midday, so we stopped in here. It was a nice little cafe. Great choice of bagels and fillings. I ordered a Cheddar Dill bagel which was delicious, and chose the Mad River filling which was Black Bean Hummus, Avocado, Lettuce, Tomato and Chipotle Mayo. The hummus was foul, it had come out of a very cold fridge and was cold and icy and bland, but the bagel and the rest of the filling was nice.

They had interesting bagel flavors and super friendly and helpful staff. Very efficient. I personally thought their bagels were very dense and closed textured making them very chewy. I prefer less dense but the flavors of the bagels were all very good.

Really love Burlington Bagel Bakery. The best bagels in Burlington. They have two locations, but I prefer their Shelburne Rd. location because they have parking. Usually very busy, but they make your bagel very quick and you won't be waiting long. So tasty!

Cheddar dill bagels. That is all. Just kidding, there's more. The sandwiches are great, the service surprisingly efficient, the prices reasonable and the staff friendly. I'm not saying this is a five star restaurant, but it is a five star bagel place. These bagels are more Long Island than Montreal, for those who know the difference, but they're 100% delicious.

Best bagel I've ever had. Hands down. Asiago red pepper dark toasted with artichoke cream cheese is my favorite. I live 3 hours away and make it a point to go in every time I'm even remotely in the area. I'm not sure why NYC feels the need to claim stewardship of The Perfect Bagel ... I've never had one there that even comes close to the texture that these guys manage.

BEST IN VT! This is the best bagel place I have found in VT. Between the kind people at the counter (Rebecca and all the great people) and scrumptious treats, you can't go wrong. The fantastic bagels, yummy soup, giant muffins, perfect chai, local kombucha, smoothies and fresh fruit, make it difficult to pick your favorite treat. I personally recommend their maple latte, but I prefer it with a single shot of espresso. Yum!

Good selection of bagels, breakfast food, and beverages. Gets very busy on the weekends. Limited indoor seating so you may have to wait or take your food home. Bagels are good, but they are nothing like "New York" style bagels....they are much denser and smaller. Pricing is also a bit higher then most other places.

Great bagels! You should have a line for people just picking up A dozen or half-dozen bagels. Waiting 20 minutes to grab a dozen bagels and some cream cheese to bring home, because somebody ordered the biggest pain in the ass egg sandwich special with 15 different personal requests makes me not want to come back for your awesomeness! Just a thought!

One of the most popular bagel places in the Burlington area. I've seen lines out the door occasionally. Staff is fast & friendly. Great selection of bagels and cream cheese. Everything made to order on spot. Bagels are always fresh daily. There are prepared sandwiches and veggie packages for those grabbing a lunch snack. Coffee is pay-per-pour, so be aware. Dine in or take out. Lines move quickly! Highly recommended!

I've been coming to the bagel bakery for 20+ years, and it always hits the spot. I am a huge fan of their sunflower seed bagels, and this is the only place I can find them. They are so tasty, whether you have a bacon, egg and cheese, any flavor cream cheese or a lunch sandwich, their bagels make the perfect backdrop. Great coffee selection and a fountain diet coke is perfection for breakfast or lunch. Don't be deterred by the full parking lot and the line, all sandwiches are made to order but it moves quickly.

place is grease smokey in the cafe. like the kitchen smoke got out of hand. you could visably see smoke inside. the bagels are compact, nice crispy outside, fresh, and expensive. $15 and change for a dozen, a cream cheese and a warm coffee. you have to self serve from a pump thermos. I dont like that, when I buy a coffee out, I want it hot. nothing special here.

Found this place by accident on a work trip up from Baltimore. They certainly know how to use lox and assembled a great BLC with capers, onions, lettuce and tomatoes on my irreverent choice of a jalapeno bagel at a good price. So good, I had to get 2 the next day. Oh, and good coffee too!
