My family loves the Baby Bites. Some of their favorites are the red velvet and the caramel flavors. On my visits, the staff has been friendly and on only one occasion was there a line. Parking can be a little uncomfortable but well worth the effort.

Always and I mean always absolutely delicious. You will not go wrong on any item. Whenever we have a holiday coming up I always go buy the mini cakes in a cup and theyvare always a big hit. They love them and I love them. Great flavors always moist and just plan good. Customer service is pretty good as well.

Delicious, came on the recommendation of a friend. Perfect size, and easy to handle as a finger food when sharing with others. The cake part is soft, and there is a wide variety of flavors to choose from. Looking forward to visiting again next time I'm in Birmingham.

My daughter wanted to visit this bake shop, while in town. My 1st visit, and I was very impressed. Their "Baby Cakes" are absolutely DELICIOUS!! I purchased 2 of the Caramel, 2 of the Chocolate, 1 Turtle and 1 Red Velvet. I divided thee with a friend. Like myself, they thought that these little sweet treats were so good! I will DEFINITELY visit this place soon. I am also giving information to friends about their Trussville location!

Carol and her husband run a tight ship here, but it pays off 500 times over when you taste one of their cake bites, or in my case, a custom cake for that special someone. Hands down the best pastry item I've ever had, and the small 8" lasted my family nearly a full week (and yes, it was good everyday). Give Carol and Dennis a call. You will thank me later.

Great array of flavors in small scrumptious two-bite pastries. The cake itself is very good: soft and mois. Vanilla and strawberry are quite nice, but the caramel baby bites are our favorite by far! The caramel icing is delicious and slightly brittle, just like a proper caramel cake.

We ordered Baby Bites for our wedding and they were an absolute hit. Everybody at the wedding loved them and gave them high praise. Friends from Atlanta were even planning to drive to Birmingham to get some more. They were the perfect size for people to enjoy a couple. Dennis was so helpful with choosing the flavors, and the small 6” cake we got to cut was perfect.

Baby Bites make the absolute best (and most delicious) gift!! I love to get a dozen+, add candles and use them as the birthday "cake." Pick out a variety of flavors so everyone has a different one to try! They had a Mexican chocolate flavor recently - it had a kick of cayenne - so, so good!

Constantly the best service and baby bites on this planet. I live in Florida, but whenever I come through the area I have to take back at least a dozen or two which only lasts about 5 minutes when I get home. The staff is also just as friendly as I remember them 5 years ago. I see that the location change oh, it's a bigger place so they can showcase all of their goods. If you have any baking needs get with the people at pastry art it is definitely one of the best bakeries in the area

My best friend sent me here who doesnt live in Bham to pick up his order. The flavors are great and texture of their "bites" and icing is great. Parking is limited however. Product is good and staff was friendly even though they had a crowd out of the door.

Excellent selection of mini bite size cakes they call baby bites. Get there early they run out fast. Extremely popular with the locals and be prepared for a small wait. They do a good job keeping the line moving.

They’re caring, willing to adjust to the most unfortunate events, and more accommodating than any store I’ve ever worked with- whether that be a bake shoppe or anything else. You can tell they love what they do and it shows in their amazing desserts.

I love this pastry shoppe! Their baby bites are amazing! Used to get them often when I worked near this location. I will say parking is terrible here. It’s never ideal because of how it is setup. Have tried other shoppes’ version of baby bites but they don’t have the right combination of moist, sweet, dense and icing to pull it off.

The baby bites were great! The spot was super busy for Thanksgiving Eve and the parking is not ideal. However the food was good. A few customers complained about the organization of all the call-in orders and the lack of staff. I didn't have a call in but they prepared my order quickly!

I strive to be at good at baking as this shop. Everyone is right the baby bites are where it is at. Also someone else wrote about the perfect icing Vs cake combo which was spot on. They really have great icing too that is not too sweet or rich. One of my all time favorite bakeries.

My favorite bakery in Birmingham! Their bite sized Baby Bites are sheer perfection. Be sure to check out their daily flavors - my favorites are caramel cake, red velvet, and chocolate marble. They also specialise in made to order cakes. If you have visited the Homewood location in the past don't panic if you drive up to the familiar location and don't see them- they have only moved half a block away on the same street closer to downtown Homewood.

This is one of those places where the more you go, the better you like it! I think they put "Spy Crumbs" on the very first Baby Bite that you purchase. The "Spy Crumbs" jump off into your car's interior at the first opportunity, BEFORE you can eat them. They hide down betwixt the seats, or maybe even under the seats, they crawl way down under the floor mats, some even jump straight into the ashtray! But they're there, somewhere inside your car, they throw out their anchors so that no vacuum cleaner on the world can budge them! Them they raise their antenna until it connects with your vehicles electrical system, they connect through your stereo system, amplifiers, mega bass, blue tooth AND Wifi too. They connect! Their tiny little "Spy Crumb" signal jumps from car to car, car to any bluetooth device that will carry your likes, your preferences, your thoughts and dreams of Baby Bite desires, straight to the magical ovens of Pastry Arts Bakery! And they next time you pull into the parking lot at Pastry Arts Bakery, those sweet little "Spy Crumbs" send out the order before your feet even hit the white striped bitumen so that it's sitting there, waiting on you, your palate, and... your dreams... Seriously, you gotta stop here, or your tongue will hold your uvula hostage!

The staff is friendly and everything is pretty straight forward. You see delicious stuff, you buy delicious stuff, you eat delicious stuff. I, like most of us love cake and have had some really good stuff, some not so good stuff and a little of in between. These cake bites are TO DIE 4!! And yes I am a straight man. OMG these things are off the scale delicious! On a scale of one to ten these are a twenty! The fact that you can pop one in your mouth and get the perfect cake to frosting to ratio is Da BomB! If your not hooked your a zombie and just don't know it. The only kick to the entire process is the interior decor could use some updating (Yes I'm sure I am straight!) But hey it's delicious stuff so wbo really cares!

This has the best cakes you will find anywhere, unless you don't like your cakes to be moist and with just the right amount of frosting. I challenge you to eat just one cake bite while still in the store and not walk out with at least a dozen afterwards.
