If you’ve seen any of my other reviews you know I’m always in the hunt for good gluten free options. Insomnia Cookies did not disappoint! It’s been a while since I enjoyed really good fresh baked cookies. Their chocolate chip was soft, warm,and delicious. I’m only whining because they have so many great flavors (which the family enjoyed and gave a thumbs up) but only one gluten free option. Hopefully they’ll have more GF choices in the future. (Hint, hint). Sorry about the photo I ate two before I remembered to take a pic for you guys! 😉🤦🏽‍♀️

I have always wanted to try the cookies from insomnia cookies however I did not get around to it until recently but I was happy that it did not disappoint. I loved the oatmeal cookie sandwich with the cake batter ice cream and it is now one of my go to snacks when I want to treat myself. The ladies at this location were very helpful and made recommendations when I told them that it was my 1st time. You should visit.

Saw this place and thought it would be like crumbl cookies, but its 100% better! The cookies are kept in what seems like a warmer, so when you get them they're already ooey and goey and melty. The flavors are amazing and even the icecream that you can get on or with the cookies is phenomenal. There was a line, but the service is amazing. The woman that gave us our cookies was very sweet and fun to talk to! I would definitely try these cookies if you're in the area.

Nothing beats these cookies! Just got an online delivery tonight which they accidentally put in 2 salted caramels instead of 2 s’mores. I called to let them know and they were VERY polite on the phone and sent out another order immediately with 2 EXTRA s’mores…only place I ever have/will get my cookies from. Y’all rock!

I was looking for gluten-free desserts, and this place popped up. It was totally worth the 20 minute drive to get there; however, parking was a bit tricky. Chocolate chip is their only gf choice. After tasting one cookie, I couldn’t complain! THE BEST gf cookies I ever had! They were so good, soft, and chewy, that I had to question whether or not they were actually gf. Awesome cookie shop!

Man, I just can't get enough of them. Smh.😱 I normally get the 6 pack for $11.00. All other favors, just are just OK. Otherwise, the service is always great. 👍 Of course, they have other items on the menu including ice cream.🍦 Parking is always a challenge.😝 Normally, I am fortunate enough to get parking up front, but if not, I park in the rear of the building. If you have NEVER tried IC cookies, please do so! 🍪🍪🍪🍪

Loved the cookies and service!! I ordered the mini cookies and the chocolate chunk for my daughter! The minis were delicious and so crisp and warm. They kept well for the next few days (that's how long they lasted). My daughter ate both chocolate chunks and didn't want to share them! Not sure of my servers name, however, she was excellent and answered all of our tourism questions about the history of the name!

Seriously by far one of the best locations hands down. Mel and Kay are simply the best. They are friendly, hospitable and always welcoming. This location in general has a great vibe and always sweet. The manager is also awesome! Plus the cookies always freshly baked.

Dessert was good but the location really was not. Late at night this neighborhood is seriously sketchy and also crowded. Finding parking was a nightmare and I was uncomfortable for my safety walking around (as a young male). It might be better in the day, perhaps, but the location really makes it hard to want to go back. Which is a shame, because the cookie and ice cream were really quite good.

I loved my cookies. I got the Peanut Butter Chunk. The warm gooeyness warmed my soul. It was phenomenal, awesome, outstanding, delicious, a piece of heaven in my mouth. I wish they delivered to me at 3 AM put I live a bit far. Thats ok its worth the drive. Oh, i got ice cream too... 1 cookie and a small cup of ice cream with a water.

The cookies are very good and the concept is great, and overall, I really enjoy Insomnia Cookies. The cookies are a good size, high quality, and always hot. However, they are overpriced. $1.60 for one cookie, $3.20 for a large, and a pint of milk cost more than a gallon at the store. An ice cream sandwich is nearly $6! The store itself is small and quickly packed, and the employees, while not rude, aren’t overly friendly. I would go more often if they weren’t as pricey, but I love that they’re open late.

Cookies were awesome! They taste like they're made from scratch not store bought. They're warm when you get them. And they're still good days after purchase. The company is open 'til 3am and located in a prime location close to schools, hospital, clinics and businesses. The only downside was the person at the register who didn't greet you or show any of the "customer service skills".

I was kind of surprised I had to get in line for a pick up. Went again the next evening for the new hibiscus cookie (new fav) and decided to wait since it was just three people ahead. When I finally got to the register I had to wait to be acknowledged and watched 4-5 people to get their walk-in orders. What's the point ordering ahead when you have to wait in line or wait over 10 minutes to receive your pick-up. It should be at least two cashiers up front for walk-ins and pick-ups or the main cashier acknowledges pick-ups. And the first visit was only two ladies running it like a pro versus six running behind all over themselves (2 looking at their phone). Still love you guys, but lets do better.

When I first started going here they were 5 stars. The staff was very friendly everything was great then they became pretty good. Just went last night for Father's day. Not so great or good the cookies were broken, over butter flavored, and overcooked. Like maybe whoever made them put too much butter in the mixture and baked them too long. I will give them another try later down the line and update you guys on if they have kept or lost a customer. Overall it's good place maybe just the rush was too much for the newer workers I guess.

Can I just say that Alicia Manker should get a raise and never let her go. Long story short, she turned a bad situation around and went above and beyond to accommodate my wife and I. What she doesn’t know is that we have been at the Children’s Hospital for a week as our new baby has been fighting to stay healthy. Came by here after dinner for some dessert. It was our first time here. The employees were quite helpful and kind of walked us through everything, explained how things work and let us sample the ice cream. My cookie was so warm and fresh, just out of the oven. I love a nice chewy cookie that doesn't break apart. It held nicely between the ice cream. Ice cream wasn't too hard or frozen, it was smooth and not overly sweet. I really enjoyed my ice cream cookie.

Insomnia cookies is a great place to grab something sweet late at night. The cookies always seem to be fresh, and the staff is friendly enough. However, the prices to some might be a bit high. Something else to consider is the area of town it is in. Especially late at night, considering it’s near multiple bars. Be ready to be standing next to some drunk people late at night trying to figure out what a cookie even is. It’s happened to me multiple times. That being said, the cookies are good enough I will be back! Despite the late night drunk clientele. 😂

Pros: These are some delicious cookies! And for the night owls, this place is open at wee hours of the night/morning. Cons: While these are delicious, and chewy and freshly baked cookies, and while they do earn 4 stars for that, I can't justify paying $8.00 for 6 cookies. I.just.cant. I mean, don't get me wrong, they were delicious. But way overpriced. I had the sugar, oatmeal raisin and white chocolate macadamia nut. My date had the other three. They were average size large cookies. Nothing more, nothing less. In a nutshell: I'll stick to Subway. But give them a try. Just make sure you're ready to splurge.

Think of it as cookie and ice cream bar. They have a pretty diverse selection of cookies past the normal flavors. Regular sized and a larger option. I ordered the chocolate mint and it was amazingly delicious. The cookies are warm and melt in your mouth. I found the staff to be very friendly. No place to sit so expect to be in and out. Worth the trip. There isn't much in the way of parking so plan ahead. It's worth it!

The cookies were fresh and warm making them ooey gooey and delicious. They also sell milk (1%, 2%, skim, etc) that pairs perfectly with the cookies. The staff was really friendly and patient while we were deciding what we wanted. My only issue with it and the reason Im giving it 4*s is because of the location. Its not in a terrible area but the parking area for the shop behind the building is not a particularly safe feeling place especially at night. All in all the shop is fantastic but the parking area is less than desirable.

Awesome cookies! Made sure you understand what you are ordering before you make your order. I ordered a cookie ice cream sandwich with two of their deluxe style cookies thinking they were the normal cookies. They are about 50 percent larger that the normal ones so that ice cream sandwich was HUGE. Worth going to though if you find yourself near one, it won't disappoint.

this place is absolutely amazing. these cookies can fix ANYTHING. unfortunately, the service is very slow and the place is tiny. don’t plan on being able to sit with a group to enjoy your cookies and ice cream. there are four seats in the whole place and only one person serving so it took quite awhile for us to all go through the line. however, the incredible cookies (though pricey) are extremely worth it!!!

This was my first ordering and the online process was easy and delivery was fast. I had the double chocolate chunk cookies and the m&m's cookies with milk. The double chocolate chip cookies were amazing and worthy of another purchase. The m&m's cookies were good not super great but still Good.

The ice cream seemed freezer burnt. The taste was not good at all from 2 different flavors. However, I was impressed with the chocolate chunk cookie sandwich with icing in the middle. late night cookies are the best idea ever. This place is open until 3am, so it's perfect for late night drunk cookies. They have regular cookies, as well as huge ice cream sandwiches. They're messy and fantastic. Go visit this place immediately. The service isn't too bad for a drunk food place. Will certainly go again.

Cookies can be a little doughy sometimes, but overall the quality is always great and the service is always fast. A huge problem is the constant harassment from the homeless that are in the front of the store at later hours, it's hard to enter or leave without being stopped and pestered a few times.

Insomnia is a favorite in my office. Warm cookie delivery is hard to beat! They are also the only cookie delivery available without using a secondary delivery option and paying additional fees. Every cookie I've had has been great. They also can make a cookie cake of any kind. Only downside is how greasy the cookies can be.

If you live within their delivery range and have a sweet tooth, give up any hope of eating healthy right now. Their name describes them best: cookies for the nights you are up late. You can order on the app and they deliver very quickly. The price is expensive, but you will see why when you taste the cookies. They will also deliver ice cream or milk to pair with your cookies.

I used to love insomnia cookies, but lately they have taken forever to deliver my food. The tracker will say it is "baking" my ice cream and I am still waiting for it an hour and fifteen minutes after ordering. It is also very expensive. This is the second time they have taken too long to get here. I will have to consider before ordering here again. It has been about a week and still no money back for this horrible error or any attempt to make up for their mistake. Do not order from here.

The place opens at 9 and had no cookies ready. I would think if you open at a certain time you would have something ready. Order a cookie and associate ask me what time I wanted to be pick it up, and I suggested at 9 and he then tells me that it want be ready until 9:30. If you're not going to have anything ready until 9:30 maybe y'all should just open than. It's very unprofessional to open a place up and not ready to sell anything. Other than than that the cookies are very good.

You haven't really had cookies until you've had insomnia. Wouldn't recommend going alone at night as a single lady because of all the homeless people panhandling right beside it and parking being a bit away from the business when busy. However, take a friend and try the peanut butter deluxe. It's awesome!

I loved it! Cookies are warm all the time and they stay open late. My favorite cookies were the double chocolate chunk and the deluxe s'more cookies. They also have this thing called a cookiewich, which is like an ice cream sandwich but with warm cookies for the breading. It was amazing.

The staff were really friendly and the place smells like confectionary heaven. The location is prime and the atmosphere was very warm. If you can get through the throngs of Five Points then it's definitely a must eat location for dessert or a sweet snack.

Hands down one of the best places I've ever been to get cookies. That's all I can say is it was just amazing if you haven't tried it you need to try it. Their cookies are amazeballs

Not many places I can get hot snickerdoodle or double chocolate chunk cookie late at night. Though, ive had some Snickerdoodles undercooked. You can get cookies cheaper at a grocery store, but you're paying for the conveneince of immediate availability. Think of it like a donut shop, that also sells ice cream and delivers orders

Yesterday I went to the Southside location in Birmingham Al. The young man name Reggie (think that's right) said the system was down didnt know how long it would be down and the young lady Lauren apologized for the inconvenience. Not once did the employees get upset (some customers did and walked out while the employees tried to explain the situation.) I want to commend these 2 for their professionalism and the smiles they kept on their faces. Keep up the great work and I will come back and wait again if I have to. IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT 🙂🙂🙂🙂
