Reviews of Golden Crown Panaderia
Amazing little spot! Food is perfection! Atmosphere is exactly what you want. Some of the best pizza I've ever tasted. Will be back asap!
Amazing bake shop that’s well loved and visited by the locals! The workers know many of the locals by name and sometimes begin ringing their order as they walk in the door. This is my first ever bisochito (pairs great with coffee) and I’m pleasantly surprised by how delicate and delicious they are! I’d love to visit again to try their pizzas and empanadas as those looked amazing as well!
Small gem with a great atmosphere and a wonderful outdoor sitting area. The pizza and milkshakes are awesome and the green chili bread divine.
Very nice place built by the owner. A very charming man. Very tasty pastries, in a wide variety. Can't order, but there is a machine outside.
Fanatic empañafas, light as a feather. I also tried a personal pizza with blue corn crust. I'm a jersey girl who's into traditional Italian pizza but once I told myself this wasn't going to be pizza, I loved it.
One of the best pizza I have ordered in the new mexico. Excellent homemade dough with fresh materials.
So friendly guys. I really enjoyed the home-made cakes and cookies.
Will definitely come back!
I love the story behind this place. They were featured on Food Network Diners Drive-Inns and Dives and New Mexico True TV. The food here was delicious! I had a ham and cheese with chips and queso. The green Chile bread compliments the vegetables and meat in the sandwich very well. They even have a Biscochito vending machine that sits out front if you want a fast and easy alternative to buying the famous cookie. I would love to give this place a 5 stars but the staff needs to be trained better. We waited over 30 minutes for our sandwich, and by the time we received them, we got the wrong bread. Overall, I would highly recommend.
I wish I could rate them higher - legitimately some of the best coffee and pastries we have ever had. We chatted with the owner - sooooo friendly and his passion is infectious! HIGHLY recommended!!!
Great pizza, Great bakery. Place is designed to get your snacks and food and go home. No inside seating. Outside seating has no shade.... food was excellent.
They have a nice set up here. The outdoor seating area brings this place to life. The food was ok. I believe the owner took our order. He was friendly so I gave them an extra star.
Amazingly Delicious empanadas , biscochitos and coffee. Cappuccino is the best I've ever had. Chris is the coffee roaster! Gracias! ❤🤎 …
Tried 3 different sandwiches. Salami, Turkey, and Ham. All three on point. The acidity of the mustard and Italian vinaigrette was just right.
Disappointed in in the cookie.
When we went we saw lots of people eating pizza. Since we were just passing through and needed to eat on the car, we opted out. Definitely want to check out the Pizza in the future though.
Cool fact: they roast their own coffee beans
Cute restaurant in old town. love the yard specially during spring and summer. Good pizzas and coffee. They bake bread too but personally never tried it. I only wish they could offer different options for sweets/pastries. For some reason, these past few years, every time I visited them. They only had biscochitos.
The employees are friendly. Excellent empanadas and pizza
Work across the street and discovered this place today. They have pizza, sandwiches, salads and a large bakery. I only tried the pizza so far, but it was amazing. Fresh dough, the green chile was actually flavorful and spicy, the staff was friendly and great. The whole vibe was really nice. I will definately be back all the time now!
I had a very good experience here. The building is awesome, the decor is perfect for their personality, and the people are very nice. I have to agree with one of the other reviewers, it's a little pricey. The bakery items were very good, I had their Green Chili bread, and a pepperoni twist. The bread couldn't have been better, I may go back for some more. You could taste the green chilies, and it had a slight amount of heat. The twist was flaky and full of flavor. The lost a star with the pizza. For me the crust was too dense and didn't have the right flavor.
Wonderful empanadas and coffee! Lovely, local bakers who have been there for years and are even easier to chat with than your favorite neighbor bartender. On my top 10 spots I recommend to people visiting ABQ from out of state. If you're a local, why haven't you been yet? 😊 …
We love coming here after school and grabbing a pizza made with peasant dough 🤤 and some wedding cookies 🤩. The atmosphere is fantastic thanks to everyone that works there and the smell of fresh baked bread is intoxicating! …
I ordered a large amount of biscochitos close to closing time, making a phone call to check availability before ordering
In both the phone call and pickup I was gently greeted by the staff and despite being so close to closing appeared happy to see me (during the balloon Fiesta so one of the busiest times of the year.) The environment was inviting and rustic, with other customers lounging outdoors in the dim light. When tasting the biscoshitos, the were fresh and tasted amazing. I am very happy with my first experience and I can't wait to to order more in the future.
Stopped in and had the most amazing pizza ever! My wife had a latte and two of their signature cookies. Latte blew Starbucks out of the water and we should have bought 2 dozen cookies!! Must stop by if traveling through Albuquerque.
Too good to be true!
Blue corn pizza dough recipe?
1 mile off of I-40, you won't regret the pit stop. Great pizza, great local beer, smoothies fresh baked bread, cookies and great waitstaff. Everything I ate was a magical assault to my tastebuds. I wish I lived close enough to this place to eat here at least 2 times a week.
The pizza here was delicious and had very fresh ingrediants. vegetarians will be happy to note that the Biscochitos are vegan.
We are not from ABQ and stopped in to get a couple goodies. We bought two bischochitos (each flavor), a wedding cookie, and a green chile bread twist. Cookies are about $1/piece, wedding cookies 55¢. They were all good.
The lady working 12/30 wasn’t very nice or welcoming. She seemed to be in a bad mood. Super cute little bakery.
Their dessert empanadas are just absolutely amazing. New york style pizza is served here but If you like sweets , I know I do, I would return always for the empanadas over the anything else. But thats just me. The owner is just the nicest person too. But seriously the empanadas are the BEST! Pineapple, apricot & raspberry were my fav!
We were so excited to come in and patron this bakery as we heard so many wonderful things about it. The best biscochito we’re ever going to have! NOT! In any case, I’m a native of New Mexico and I know better about a lot of things when it comes to NM cuisine. I guess for people who are easy to impress, this biscochito would be impressive. It looks like a biscochito, it smells like a biscochito, but it lacks taste and texture. Unfortunately so. But that is just my personal opinion. El modelo or Helen’s bakery have the finest biscochito cookies in the entire city of Albuquerque. I know you don’t even know me, but trust me. Their world famous pizza was OK at best. Their smoothies are pretty good. I had a smoothie my husband had a coffee. And as we sat at a tiny little table in the corner of this cafe that is over 100 years old we witnessed little mice, scurrying back-and-forth underneath the coffee, bean bags near the entryway. You can see where they are nibbling on the flour bags. They probably should get out the hand held vacuum. In any case the place is cozy and quaint with history. And the old man who owns the place loves to talk about himself to the customers. It’s apparent that he loves the attention as he has awards and accolades of accomplishments hanging on the old adobe walls that have stood the test of time.
I found the Golden Crown Panaderia on a list of things to do in Albuquerque. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating for the breakfast crowd, and everything is baked fresh on the premises. I loved being able to see the bakers working behind the counters. The loaves are beautiful and smell amazingly and they give out free biscochitos with each order. I had a sweet potato pastry and a pizza with pepperoni and green chile on a blue corn crust. The 8” pizza came out quickly and was the perfect size for lunch. Wonderful neighborhood spot...I wish I lived around the corner!
Their pizza was delicious but a bit pricey. If I go back it will be for the dessert!! The biscochitos and empanadas were soooo yummy. My favorite pastry is pumpkin empanadas and this place makes one of the best I've ever had!!!
We read about this bakery in the Lonely planet and went there to have dinner, it was a really big surprise about this tasty meal. What we can say: go there and try it, it's terrific and delicious. The place is comfortable and the people are really friendly. We met the boss Pratt and had a nice talk. It was a pleasure to be there. Thanks again! Petra and George
In my opinion, Golden Crown has the best pizza in Albuquerque. Their green chili crust really sets them apart from any other pizza maker.
A bit pricey, but we'll worth the little extra cost.
Awesome! Employees were super friendly & food was excellent!
Great little hole in the wall. An absolute gem. Great pizza, and empanadas to look forward to. Please check out u wont be disappointed
I loved Golden Crown when I lived in Albuquerque and it's still wonderful. The counter staff is always friendly. They have a great tea selection thanks to the New Mexico Tea Company, which is right next door. All of the baked goods are good but if you can get the peanut butter and chocolate cookies, snatch them up while you can because they don't last long. Apparently the coffee is good too. They have a really nice patio with plenty of tables.
One of my favorite place to take out of town or even locals you know it's got a bakery that makes bread that looks like turkeys with green chili and cheese in it for the holidays nice I take out of town is there and they give him a free biscuit Cheeto nobody knows what those are I think they've got your system down on the computers are doing really good a lot of healthy teas coffees that you're kind of cool you know empanadas
The pizza was pretty good - the crust was very crispy if you like that (I do). Try their green chili bread. The staff is very pleasant. It wasn't too crowded inside and there is outside seating. They serve Pepsi products there (I prefer Coke) but that won't stop me from going back, there's other items I want to try.
Awesome biscochitos. Good size and they melt in ur mouth. Assorted flavors. Chocolate ,Capachino, original. But the tostadas, yummy. Love this cute place. Outdoor patio. Empanaditas are tasty as well.
There is an angel here.
Who calls bread into being each morning.
Who prepares the calabaza, not sweet, spiced, for the empanadas.
From puff pastry so light that it should not be possible in the desert.
All baked in an oven that no longer exists.
The Greeks called the angel πρακτική.
Who will be with us for 130 years,
but 84 of the years have already passed.
Do not delay in coming.
Cute/quaint bakery in between downtown and old town. Went there the day before Thanksgiving. They were very busy. If you are looking for the famous "Turkey Bread" keep in mind you have to pre-order it weeks in advance. The food was great. We had pizzas. We also got some empanadas and biscochitos. All of them were very very good. Enjoyed it all! Hope to be back sooner than later! Great time having the young kids watching the owner make the Turkey Breads!
Incredible New Mexican bakery with amazing pizza. Top notch biscochitos and empanadas. Good ice tea with a huge variety of teas to choose from. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in New Mexican food. Was also once visted by Guy Fieri.
Get in early and try everything. I love this local gem.. Green Chile Loaf Bread or Crust for a fresh and perfect pizza. No wrongs in this place. Be there or stay unaware
Prices were average green chili bread was good. The way I look at it if its good enough for governor michelle lujan grisham. it good enough for me.
The pizza we ate was delicious! Highly recommend for a casual bite.
Super cute store and it smells so good! Pastries taste even better!
First time here and so happy I know about this place now! The staff is wonderful and so friendly and the pastries are incredible! Very nice local atmosphere. I will definitely be returning and look forward to trying more of the breads!
This place is a good hole in the wall with some very tasty pizza. It could definitely be better maintained. I went there with my grandma and mother. It was hard to find a table that wasn't dirty. The table we did find that was clean enough was so sticky it was almost sickening to sit there. I would understand if it was busy and hectic, those things can be hard to get to, but it wasn't. Food was great and it would be nice to sit outside on a pretty day.
Featured on the food network. Friendly staff. Signature New Mexico bizcochito (crumbly sugar and flour) and sweet empanada (similar to pie) were okay (better fresh). They use blue corn in some recipes which gives taste unique and texture.
Gotta give the Golden Crown Paneria 5 stars, after being there 3 times in 3 visits to Albuquerque. Its just an unpretentious bakery which holds its ground in producing its rendition of local traditions, against the onslaught of corporate bakery and coffee houses... Pastries, awesome pizzas, breads, friendly staff relaxed and simple atmosphere. Come by and try it.
Super lovely place. Tons of bio racks, super cute inside. Friendly staff, great biscochitos and empanadas (which are accidentally vegan). Also their multigrain fresh bread too. Staff is super knowledgeable about ingredients in their baked goods - clearly made in house with care. <3
Literally the best pizza that I have ever tasted. This place is a bakery first and foremost so they have mastered the crust - the most important part of the crust. I have tried all the different crusts but the best one is hands down Blue Corn! The cookies are also amazing but the pizza and the patio are the best things about this place. Also, the staff gives out free cookies to "all kids who come in" - meaning everyone. It made me feel young and hey, I got a free cookie!
It's just a vending machine. Overpriced considering the complete lack of ambiance or experience, and the empanadas we got were just okay. There was a sign on the door that said to order from the vending machine which only had about a dozen options. We were looking forward to trying different things like other people's photos showed.
I don't know if this place has the best pizza in Albuquerque because I haven't eaten them all. I will say that this place has the best pizza I've ever eaten. I love the combination. It's perfect. And, the vegetarian is really really good. Nice folks, good food, good service and locally owned!
Wow what a place!! Talked with the owner and had suggestions. We'd ordered a few and they were delicious. Ordered more tio go. Don't leave Albuquerque without trying this place. They also toast there own coffee.
Best pizza in Albuquerque bar none! World's Coffee Milkshake is a must. Locally owned and operated. #BlueCornCrust
Best pizza, best empanadas, best customer service, best Pepsi. Love golden crown. They always remember me and give a warm welcome.
Definitely excellent service and a generous coupon was received in the mail so I had to go! My only recommendation to the staff would be to have fresh jalapeños!
THEY KNOW HOW TO MAKE SOME BOMB A** BREAD!!!!! First & wasn't our last during our weekend trip there! Went twice!!! Picked up BLUE CORN CRUST pizza!!! Delicious parties. Came back for the New Mexican Green Chili bread & got three loafs for us & family. Honestly was not a disappointment AT ALL!!! Everyone loved it so much!!!
Holy moley. I was looking for an Albuquerque standard bearer for local eats, and I found it with this panaderia. Not only does it have an excellent pastry selection, but you can also get pizza and sandwiches on their homemade bread. They have local microbrews on tap, they give you a free sample cookie as you order, and it's comfy as a local business should be. Will swing by again on my way out of town to load up on pastries, and will definitely be back.
Blue corn veggie pizza, Complementary cookies on arrival,Great selection of local beers, super pleasant staff. All good.
Really nice people. The pizza crust is not thick and the green chili crust is yummy. Green chili has some heat! Great beer selection. Limited food menue, Sandwiches and pizza. Pastries are great.
Very good pizza and great neighborhood restaurant vibe. Not the best pizza place I've ever been to, but if I lived in this neighborhood I'd be at this place all the time! 👍 …
Quaint little spot. Standard of it's type, and overall average everything. Coffee was just okay. So were the baked goods. However, they thoughtfully offer such things after 3pm.
Another delicious pizza place and everyone there is super nice. Got the veggie pizza on green chile crust. It was so good! The crust is thick and crispy and just taste so fresh, I guess because it is! Hahaha.
One of my favorites. Love the pumpkin empanadas and the green Chile pizza crust!
Man greatest place for bakery sweet tooth 🔥bischochitos love the food too great people work there right in my neighborhood very recommend …
We stayed right across the street and everyone we encountered at the store was very friendly and helpful. A friendly hello immediately upon entering.
Our pizza on blue corn crust was delicious. Also, loved the cherry empinada and green chili bread!
Best Bakery Around!!! I stop by and thankfully the COOKIE ATM is always well stocked so I can buy their goods all the time even if their closed.
Good food could have been better, beautiful restaurant, and service could use some work.
I bought a variety of selections of cookies and end up Falling in with their chocolate cookies! The rest was okay, i think it’s a personal preference, but the other cookies were crumbling, kind of like Mexican wedding cake texture but super soft.
Quaint and wonderful little cafe. They roast their own coffee and it's delicious. They serve an assortment of fresh baked goods, sandwiches, pizzas, and salads. All very fresh and tasty. This place is puppy friendly, too.
I stopped by this awesome place with my family from out of town and it was awesome. The pizza and the Biscochitos cookies were the best… I would highly recommend to stop by.The smell when you walk in is great! Customers service was excellent..
Blue Corn crest pizza with meaty pepperoni and favor filled sausage was best pizza i tasted in a long time! I will say it Golden!!
A little short staffed right now. (Who isn't) Had a sandwich that was delicious. The smoothie was very good. The empanadas were the best I've ever had. So flaky.
We grabbed some Biscochitos here from Golden Crown to feature at my daughter’s Bake Sale, and they were SUCH a hit!! They were delicious and sold out almost immediately. We cannot recommend this place enough!!
One of my favorite places. The pizza and pastries are both good and the staff is always nice.
Very great spot. Nm classics cooked well. Biscochitos are light as a feather and the staff is super helpful.
Really delish...really chk over order...did not realize I ordered 2 sm pizzas till I got them but both excellent...will go back
The girl who works the counter (Maria?) is the nicest person I’ve ever met. Plus this restaurant has a super cute vibe.
Their products are amazing! And I absolutely love their pizza!
Not much indoor dining. Outside patio if you don't mind weather elements. Good homemade fresh food. We enjoyed the flavors and plan to return!
Ordered to go. Was delicious. Green chile, pepperoni and mushroom pizza.
Good to see dispite a bit of boomer nobody wants to work... And we cant have raises and air conditioning for employees whining from the owner, that things have settled down and employees seem happy, tipped a bit extra and had a great pie..
Love the environment it is so relaxing and beautiful. Love the plants and the Adobe walls.Tried the sandwich and it was delicious.
Ordered the strawberry and raspberry empanada. It was very good. Felt healthy sweet without it being an overpowering sweet. (Side note: they do not sell egg sandwiches due to staff shortage. So ignore that portion of Google menu. It hasn't been updated.) Staff is super friendly and kind. Would come again.
Freaking amazing. Love bakers and entrepreneur Christopher Morales and I Love Pratt. Chris has been working relentlessly to continue family tradition. This place deserves all the attention it gets. Try their blue corn crust pepperoni pizza. It’s my favorite.
Good coffee, great cookies. We did't try the pizza but I have no doubts it would be boom.
OMG amazing. We did breakfast and dinner here while we were in town and everything was delicious.
Empanadas were flakey and full of flavor. The cookies were a great texture and just the right sweet level. The pizza was yummy with a great crust.
Friendly people too!
Green chilli bread is a smash! Take a loaf home with you and taste deliciousness in every sandwich you make! But first, get one of the sandwiches here for inspiration.
I had the pizza and cheesy garlic bread here. Everything tastes like top notch ingredients. Everyone who interacted with me at the front was so nice and professional. There was an issue with the oven that caused my pizza to take longer than usual to cook so the staff offered me some cheesy garlic bread to hold me over until it was ready. Great workers: Hutizil, Nicole, Ramiro, and Carmen made my experience great even with the hiccup.
Everything is made from scratch, the pizza"s, deserts etc.. And everything is delicious and fresh. I love this place. The owner is beyond nice and so are the employees. Seriously you have to eat here, you will not regret it. 👍 …
Pizza's and sandwiches were so delicious! Chris, his Dad, and staff were so Awesome! Great customer service! Highly recommend
Everyone working here was so kind, friendly, and helpful. I didn't have an idea of what to order for breakfast and had everything described to me in detail along with some personal suggestions. Amazing experience all the way around, and amazing food! I wish I wasn't a tourist for the day so I could come back again! It is well worth your effort, and appetite, to come here.
2nd time I’ve been here. Not only is the staff friendly, but they are also very talented! 😊 Thanks Stephanie for making our day! …
Fantastic food! Was a bit bummed they didn't have pizza available today, but the garlic bread with marinara more than made up for it. Friendly staff, delicious smells and food, I'll be back.
We went late in the day and most goodies were gone but the cookies and coffee were delicious 😋. The pizza looked really good too. …
This little bakery nestled away in a little street corner on Mountain Road is still my favorite place to purchase Hispanic comfort desserts like my Abeulita use to make (with exceptionally enhanced flavorings). Their biscochitos, wedding cookies, fruit filled empanadas, pasteries and old fashion molasses cookies are still as good as I remembered in my younger years ... mmm! They also offer loaves of green chili cheese bread, along with specialty luncheon sandwiches. My grandchildren enjoyed all the various pastries they personally chose and loved them! These desserts sparked fond memories of my childhood in the kitchen with my Abuelita, and special family stories I shared with them about their great-great Abuelta they had never heard before. Thank you for keeping our New Mexico Hispanic culinary dessert recipes traditional. We look forward to coming back soon.
Amazing staff and amazing food! Love the atmosphere, very beautiful in their patio area!
This place is amazing! The empanadas were very delicious, not too sweet. The staff are very nice. Totally recommend. One of the best in Albuquerque
I've had a personal pizza here. It was okay. Anyways-the scent of fresh biscochitos is nice but a bit overpowering to be honest. The plants were pretty but the interior is quite small and thus crowded. Not sure I'll be back.
Super friendly baker, and exceptional green chile bread and biscochitos
The pizza we ordered was very delicious we even had our little kid moment and colored a page while we waited no wonder theyve won awards we were very satisfied
This is the best pizza I've had in Abq, since returning in 12/'17. ( In this time I've had pizza at 5 other Abq. restaurants. )
I tried them as they sent me a free pizza coupon in the mail when I moved.
I'd chosen not to go here before because of the "owner's" response to Matt Devit's, year ago Google Review. In my opinion, it was Inappropriate to contest Matt's unprofessional comment by saying the business was professional.
Another incident had owner comments being removed from social media because of push back.
Glancing through other Golden Crown... Google reviews I see others have questioned Golden Crown's... Customer Service.
In my 2 visits I've had Good Customer. Service. But, I'm watching how they represent themself in public.
Wow. Only got the cinnamon cookies from the vending machine outside and ate them on the way home. Just wow.
Great food and a happy environment. You can tell the love that is placed in every bite.
I absolutely love this neighborhood bakery! The friendly staff always greet you with a smile and a free biscochito cookie made fresh in house. Lattes and baked goods are out of this world.
I've ordered delivery from here via Uber Eats a few times before, always amazing food. I was in the general vicinity, so I decided to do a pickup order instead. It's a great building appearance wise, and very friendly staff. Simply too hot to sit outside, otherwise I would have enjoyed myself on the patio that they have. When it's cooler outside, I'll have to come back in as a dine in patron, they've definitely earned it :)
On a trip to ABQ with my sister, we had to come check this place out. Everything we had was amazing, we were snacking on it all week. We meant to come back for a pizza but we simply ran out of time. I'm definitely coming back when I make my way back out to ABQ!
Excelente Panadería ! You can smell the bread as soon as you park. Great empanadas, biscochitos & coffee! Their pizzas also have a great variety including blue corn and green chili. Definitely one of my favorites in New Mexico.
The new pizza oven is fantastic. Crisper crust really makes a difference. The complimentary biscochito is a nice touch.
Loved the idea of this place but the cookies missed the mark for us. Loads of options from bread to pastries.
5 stars for their Tres Leches cake, which according to my teen daughters, is the best in the city.
Green chile pizza dough was too chewy and didn't much taste like green chile. Maybe the peasant dough would have been a better choice for a pizza crust. From the bakery, the lemon empanadas are AMAZING!!! I will certainly go back for the lemon empanadas.
We came to new mexico for the first time and definitely wanted to try empanadas. This place is one of the best to taste fresh empanadas. Got an authentic flavour of ingredients that were used.
Pizzas were a bit disappointing but overall a great place to visit in the old town.
I came here thinking they’d have savory empanadas like traditional Chilean empanadas but they actually only have “sweet” empanadas. I had the pumpkin / Calabaza and lemon. Just perfect flavor, not too sweet, actually a little savory flavor in the dough. Great coffee. Will be coming back here for the green Chile cheese loaf and highly rated pizza!
We ordered two of the blue corn pizzas. The pizzas were excellent. The sauce had an excellent flavor and the crusts were outstanding.
This place has limited indoor seating, but has a very nice patio. It has an amazing selection of home made breads, fruit empanadas, and good selection of deli sandwiches. No beer or wine service, but wonderful selection of teas, coffees.
The staff was welcoming and very friendly. We had a sample of some of their cookies and ended up buying a dozen. We ordered the ham and cheese and the roast beef sandwiches and garlic bread along with a strawberry stuffed pastry. Everything was phenomenal. We were taken care of by Shawna and around man whose name I did not get but both were very friendly.
Passing through Albuquerque this panaderia was highly recommended by our host - and it did not disappoint. We ordered sandwiches to go and they were still toasty warm upon our arrival “home”. My wife loved her cheese sandwich on house-made whole wheat and my ham and Swiss was perfect on the marbled rye. Generous portions as well. Many cookies and treats to be found so enjoy this fabulous, and cute, panaderia.
The flaky pastries were outstanding!
The enpanadas were good, with a whole wheat style crust. The blueberry was my favorite.
The biscochitos were good, but not quite what I expected. I preferred the coffee flavored ones.
Customer service was a lovely young girl who was close to the family.
Nice place!
The owner and creator of delicious breads and sweet delicacy's was really friendly and a senior and very friendly and kind. He creates unique desserts and breads. I think he's an amazing man who has been open for a long time take time.
Check it out...
Visiting from Italy and Seattle, our friend highly recommended the place for sweet empanadas. As soon as we parked the car you immediately are greeted by the sweet delicious warmth of fresh baked goods. We met the owner who was so delightful to talk with and at 83 is still the main baker!!! Please come try their bischotchos!
Mind blowing place. Must visit place for every food lover. This hidden gem at the first site looks very ordinary in fact it's looks like some antique and rusty looking 🛖. Well the food and flavor is out of the world. I have tried Empanadas , biscochitos and veg pizza. Food is so fresh and flavorful. I enjoyed every bite of it. I will visit this bakery for sure
Love the chocolate Mexican wedding cookies! Great whole wheat bread at an affordable price. Haven't had their lunch menu yet, but will in the future.
Pizza was terrific, the cookies are wonderful and the staff is very friendly.
On my visit to Albuquerque I stopped in twice. First for lunch I had a pizza which was very good and then I stopped the next day for some pastries for breakfast which were even better than the pizza lol
Had an incredible pizza last night even though they were slammed busy due to the stay at home order , they might have made the best pizza I’ve got from there in light of that. They also gave me an extra cookie for being patient. Incredible place with a welcoming owner and chef. Do not trust the negative reviews from angry locals: I moved to Albuquerque recently from a large east coast city with lots of pizza available there. This place is one of the tastiest smaller spots in the city!
This place in addition to empanadas, biscottes, green chili bread this place has great pizza, sandwiches, and smoothies. The famous chef Christopher Morales attended us and his Dad Pratt was baking g behind the counter.
Great coffee friendly and attentive staff. Green chile bread and cookies were delicious. Going back to have a pizza soon!
Staff were super nice and food was good. Pizza was really interesting and we might have rated it higher if the topings were a little more adventurous. Be prepared for the crust to be on the thicker side (it's corn).
Empanadas and biscochitos were good. Lots of cinnamon and fruit flavors.
The sandwiches were outstanding but were way overpriced
Fantastic food and very friendly service. We tried pizzas, empanadas, biscochitos & libros. All were delicious! Definitely worth a stop!
Great pizza. Also, they give out free samples of the New Mexican state cookie, the Bizcochito, which were to die for.
Very nice courtesy staff. Good food
Great food, great service! We had a salad and sandwich, both were great. Service was quick enough and very friendly!
Get the cheesy garlic bread!
I loved the aroma as I walked into the panaderia! The selection of products they have to offer! Plus, I was immediately greeted by my server Leanna! She was very courteous, professional & did suggest items I hadn't seen! I will definitely be back! THANK YOU LEANNA! I was very satisfied with my purchase!
Grabbed a little bit of everything pastry wise. Would love to come back and try the pizza
The food is as good as the service. Sarah greeted me with a smile and positive attitude and made the dining experience lovely. Will definitely be back.
Super friendly staff and great food!
This place is special; from their pizza to their delicious fruit empanadas. Always friendly and unfortunately not in my neighborhood or I would probably be there every day. Their outdoor patio is super nice in the summer and inside smells like your Tia's house. Get there early or all the good stuff will be gone and eaten!
I was so excited to come here and was disappointed at the lack of bakery options. They have a couple of cookie options and empanadas, bread and pizza. I was also looking forward to trying the tres leches I’ve seen in other reviews, only to be told that they have not had tres leches available in a very very long time.
Incredible experience. Try the green Chile pizza dough. ours was pepperoni and cheese. I also got Mexican wedding balls, and empanadas, they were fantastic!
There are people in our group who do not eat pizza; I know, I know CRAZY!! The pizza here is so good it makes those people crave more pizza! The bakery is amazing! The biscochitos are a treasure we are now sharing with people across the country. All of this and the best thing has to be the owner and the amazing staff providing excellent customer service and a friendly environment making you want to come back over and over.
A very nice bakery cozy and warm for the winter but a little crowded. Very expensive for a small pizza its not stating that its organic or local. Paid 14 for a personal pizza with a tip. The last time I had empanadas they did not have real fruit so I was disappointed for the price was hoping for some fresh fruit inside. No gluten free options for such an expensive place. I wish this place was organic so it would have an excuse for the price. I guess I would rather go to Slice Parlor in Nob Hill for the price, but I would definitely say that they are very nice and like giving out cookies. I would still come out here once in a while.
My first visit. The first thing that hits you is the most wonderful enticing aroma! Staff was amazing! Helpful, kind and courteous! I had one of their signature pizzas which was delicious & amazingly light! Want to go back today just to hang out on their cute & quaint patio and have a liquid libation. Definitely need to try out their pastries!
This place is one of my hidden gem favorites! They have a big selection of pastries, plus they make the most delicious pizza. You can get green Chile crust that is chewy but not too thick. They have limited seating inside, but they also have outdoor seating. They gave me some complimentary biscochitos with my order, which tasted very authentic with the anise and flaky delicious texture.
I know this place is popular among locals and gets rave reviews but, I did not like one thing I ordered. The empanadas are made with a strange crummy crust that falls apart in your hand. The fruit filling is made from jam, not whole fruit and is less than a quarter inch in depth. Their signature cookies are also strangely crumbly and just taste like flour and cinnamon. It was so disappointing. Nice counter help from staff.
First time I've had biscochitos and I was blown away, texture was amazing. We had a blueberry empanada and a strawberry puff pastry as well. Everything we ate here was great, next time we drive through I am absolutely buying more biscochitos!
They have amazing drinks, bread, pizza, etc. I find that some of their baked goods are better than others. For example, I really like the empanadas, and how they’ve been offering baking ingredients since the beginning of the pandemic. Their hot drinks are super warming and delicious. I find the biscochitos are just okay. The owner is known to be a great figure in the community. Sometimes I’ve noticed some workers aren’t wearing their masks over their nose. Overall a pretty good experience.
This bakery is a one stop shop: fresh baked breads, pizza and sandwiches, coffee and treats oh, my! I recommend trying the blue corn pizza crust with any toppings, biscochito cookies and bolillos.
Dine in on their nice outdoor patio or take it to go. Either way, you'll be happy.
The best gluten free pizza I’ve had
Haven't purchased bread here yet, but everything smells soooooooo good! Their pizza is the best! Only issue was their driveway exit and my car. My car is too low (I don't have a low rider, just lower a clearance.)
Nice sandwich! We ordered an Italian sandwich and I liked the sauce they put on it. We got free cookies upon ordering, they were interesting. The chips that came with our sandwich were a bit stale, but the queso was good. Ordered a loaf of chile bread to take home. It was very interesting as well. Nice kick and good with butter.
This was my fiance's and my first time eating here and it was delicious. We tried the chocolate and cappuccino biscochitos, and they are perfection. We got the combination and big meat pizzas and they were good. I really liked the green Chile cheese twist and apple empanada.
Love the home-grown feel! The empanadas are my breakfast favorite with friends. My family loved their blue corn pizza crust. It's crispy and yummy. Pleasant covered and open patio seating. Friendly employees! They have a rewards program if you are tempted to be a returning customer like me.
A must see, unique place for pizza, sandwiches, local beers, baked goods. Nice patio. This place is internationally known for its been chili bread, and the empanadas are to due for. Just go.
One of my favorite pizza places. Recently took my kids after swim classes and we enjoyed their pizza on a green chile crust (dough) with empanadas for dessert. Yum! They also have a blue corn dough, that sounded interesting. They also make yummy biscochitos. They also make sandwiches & coffee. Stop by and enjoy. Small note, they do have outdoor sitting but it's not covered, I would recommend order & pick up or eat just after 2pm.
this place has such wonderful employees. when we entered, we received a batch of their cookies (sorry, don't remember which ones, but they're popular)! they (the cookies) were so good! also, the pizzas are also amazing. thank you guys for one of the best lunches ever!!
Being greeted with complimentary biscochitos is the best! I go here very often and the service is fantastic. Very friendly staff, food is always delicious. From the pizza to the sandwiches to the desserts, everything is great. Love sitting on the patio.
This place is wonderful. Right when you walk in the door they give you a free biscochito just for coming in. I tried the blue corn pizza for the first time today and it was delicious. They were generous with the toppings and it was perfectly cooked. I love the texture of the blue corn crust. It doesn't have the 'chewy' texture of regular crust and it tasted amazing, but subtle flavor that didn't overwhelm the flavor of the toppings. I also got a free pecan bun for my birthday when I was signed up for the rewards program!!! Will be coming back frequently.
Found out this bakery earned a spot on the Food Network. It is definitely well deserved, the food is great and the service is good. Staff is super friendly and treat everyone like family. Their freshly baked breads and cookies are delicious and always fresh. I love this place!
Out of towner, made an online order but it wasn’t ready when I arrived. It wasn’t busy and she pulled it together very quickly but seemed silly to order ahead. I really appreciate the inexpensive prices and trying local favorites. I got a variety of the “home style” (chocolate chip), the little pig, chocolate New Mexico wedding cookies, and biscochitos. Also got a loaf of the cinnamon pecan bread. Tasty but not “fancy” products, which is reflected in the prices. The bread toasted nicely for breakfast with butter however I wish there were more pecans and cinnamon on top or swirled to really bring out the flavors. Worth it for trying the cookies New Mexico is known for!!!
I was totally engaged w/the owner, Pratt Morales, who has been baking for 50 yrs after serving his country in the Air Force. He looks much younger than his matured years and is delightful. We had the Genoa salami/provolone & Pastrami/provolone on fresh baked baguette. Sandwiches perfectly married w/condiments. A surprise was the fire hot queso served w/tortilla chips, which is called corn chips. The green Chile loaf of bread is the very best I have ever tasted. Upon request, will slice. The loaf is so huge, we have to share with our friends. My hubby and I agree, we will ALWAYS buy our bread here. The gravel patio is inviting. Looking forward to returning very soon.
We just stopped by to ask of a certain bread. We were greeted with "every kid gets a cookie".
The smells alone filled me with memories of my grandma baking.
Decided on a raspberry empanada. It was simply amazing. We chatted with owner and he loves what he does and you can taste it in every bite.
They have pizza, sandwiches, local brewed beer and salads. Everything is organic.
They also have a patio for outside dinning. Please add this place to your list for local dinning.
I also told Tony T. Of 105.1 about this beautiful little place.
The food here is awesome! Everything is made in house and super fresh. They have done exceptional work to support the community during COVID-19, including making bulk sized flour, sugar, and yeast available for purchase, along with online ordering and curbside pickup for their delicious food. The owners take feedback from customers seriously and attempt to integrate it into changes, but also make sure their employees are supported. This is a delicious, down to earth, and community rooted restaurant.
The empanadas are always fantastic, and their Biscochitos are a local favorite.
Our favorite is the green chile loaf; we make a monthly trip for all three once or twice a month
So happy I found this place close to my office. The staff is so friendly and the outdoor seating is super cute in warm weather. Not a lot of parking or indoor seating, though. The pizza is some of the only good pizza in town, and their pastries are wonderful! Free biscochitos when you walk through the door. Only place you can get your bread, coffee and breakfast, pizza, local craft beer, AND smoothies. Highly recommend!
Very good pizza! Go for the blue corn crust. Baked goods were fresh and delicious. Not too many tables, but we were able to find a seat on a Saturday at noon as well as a parking spot, although it was crowded.
I had to try the chocolate biscochitos I have heard a couple people rave about.. And I actually really liked them so did my husband and he doesn't care for biscochitos at all.. My daughter ate one, said they were ok.. I also had to get some empanadas and another strawberry thingy for my husband and those were really good, they put anise in the masa for the crust.. I really liked everything but thought it was kinda pricey.. OH.. I almost forgot.. The wedding cookies are also pretty good!! I more than likely will go back when I have a little extra money.. 👍
We, me and my wife, came in early this morning and we were met with a smiling face! Regardless of the power outage that had happened the night before, the owner had this place reset and all the ovens going providing us with some of the freshest empenadas we've had!
We're from Seattle, so we're sad we wont be be able to make this a regular go to spot! Oh, and the coffee is freshly roasted in house!
10/10 must go!
I drive past this place all the time on my way to work and finally decided to stop in and try it out about a month ago and again yesterday, and I was extremely impressed with the my experience both times so I had to write a review! They have empanadas, coffee, biscochitos, bread, and all sorts of good stuff! On my first visit, I had an apple empanada and a coffee, which was absolutely delicious!! For round two I got the chocolate biscochitos, and they totally melt in your mouth!! The most memorable part of both experiences was the woman who waited on me both times, Veronica. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the coffee that she made me was perfect! I made sure to get her name on my second visit because she just made my day!! Thank you Veronica!! I highly recommend visiting this adorable bakery located in Old Town, Albuquerque, NM!!
Got here at 1:30 on Friday so out want super busy. Super friendly staff. The smell of the bakery is amazing. I just want to sit there all day. I got a personal pizza, the crust is nice and crispy all of it tasted so delicious. Plus the biscochito YUM!
Absolutely delicious empanada's and biscochitos!
One of those best hidden places in ABQ, but everyone should check this place out for delicious foods of all kinds. Pizzas, breads, sweets, and more.... Everything a bakery can have. And the owner and staff are very nice and friendly to serve you better. My first experience totally exceeded my expectations. 5 Stars ☑️
Great service and beyond tasty treats!! And vegan friendly 😋 …
Pizza was good. I didn't have any pastries but they looked homemade and delicious.
Would have gone for 5 stars, the food was amazing! But the beer was flat and tasted funky. Also not the very best customer service at the counter. The guy that brought our food out was super nice and helpful though. We love this place, and go here often if we want good pizza in our neighborhood. It’s super that they serve craft beer now too! (Just not the beers we chose tonight I suppose)
I love this place. Favorite bakery in town! Their biscochitos are the perfect amount of sweet and crumbly. I always have to get a cherry empanada while I'm there. Because I have a mammal allergy, I'm super appreciative that they don't use dairy in their biscochito or empanada dough. I also love their outdoor patio and can't wait until things get more normal post covid to sit out there again. Regardless, they're still doing takeout orders and you can eat your food in your car or take it to a shaded park. Soooo happy they're business is still standing during this economic hardship and hope they remain forever.
I came here on a recommendation and ended up eating half a loaf of New Mexican Chili Bread in the parking lot. Fresh out the oven and delicious. Empanadas were awesome too!
My fiancee and I tried this place out for the first time a couple of weeks ago and loved it. We had some local craft brews and a splendid blue cornmeal crust pizza with pepperoni and of course green chile. It finished our meal off with some sweet potato empanadas. The staff was friendly and professional, and the owner seemed attentive. We will most certainly be back.
First time customer, phenomenal sweet and savory pastries and breads at affordable pricing. Will be a regular customer from this point forward. Love supporting entrepreneurial people who do an amazing job with an even better product. Thank You for a very happy day of wonderful foods.
Our family really enjoyed eating here. Great pizza. We especially liked the green chile crust. The had a great selection of beers, too. The pastries were delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
What a fabulous place! We met the owner who was wonderful, ingenious and such a great baker Staff was very accommodating and food/bakery products were excellent.
I was so impressed by Golden Crown! I hadn't heard anything of it before I went, I just stopped looking for a good place to get empanadas. This place has everything from sandwiches to pizza to beer, it has something for everyone and all of it is well done with very friendly staff. It is excellently decorated and has a very inviting patio as well. This is definitely a must go to spot in Albuquerque and I'll be back without a doubt.
This is a little gem of a bakery, just minutes from Old Town Albuquerque. We enjoyed the delicious fruit empanadas, and ordered a take-and-bake pizza. The pizza, featuring blue cornmeal in the crust was one of the best and unique we've had anywhere in the world!
I had a tasty beef and provolone sandwich on rye. It was super. Very friendly staff and the owner loves to chat with the guests. Great patio with umbrellas to shield you from the sun. The cups of iced tea are gargantuan; couldn't finish it. Huge selection of teas. I really want to go back.
Golden crown is hands down my favorite pizza place and bakery in town. I always get the create your own pizza with onion, pepperoni, and green chile on the green chile dough. They use the same doughs for their breads and pizzas, as far as I can tell, and they work well for both. However, if your preference is thinner crust pizza, you would be better off ordering one of their sandwiches, for which they use house made baguettes or bread, and obviously fresh ingredients. I also always order their cheesy garlic bread and sometimes like it more than the pizza, depending on my mood.
The biscochitos, again, are my favorite in the city as they are not overly sweet and are on the drier side so pair well with coffee, but that does mean they are not for you if you want something more moist or sweeter. The blue corn and cappuccino biscochitos are absolutely divine. I also very much enjoy their danishes as the filling is a great consistency and the pastry is perfectly layered.
I generally keep a loaf of marble rye and a loaf of honey wheat sliced and frozen to eat as desired, as the bread doesn't have preservatives, so not being able to finish a full loaf within a week or two may result in wastage depending on how you store it. That said, I don't have to freeze the green chile cheddar bread, as it is generally gone in a couple days.
The empanadas are obviously well made, the dough has good flavor for what it is, and I believe use the same filling as the danishes, they just aren't to my personal taste as I believe they might use a whole wheat dough for them, and it's not my preference.
They were gracious enough to let us in at closing time and prepared the most delicious turkey sandwich with freshly baked bread. Can't wait to go back!
My husband and I came here two years ago. We still think of the place fondly. Upon arrival we ordered pizza. We tried almost everything they had. They had this peppermint latte at the time which was absolutely amazing. I actually really loathe peppermint coffee so I was shocked when my husband forced me to taste it and ended up having two of my own. This is really great coffee. We've also had pizza many places. We travel a lot because my husband is in the military. We thought this pizza was comparable to Lombardi's in NYC- maybe better. We truly enjoyed it. More than that the atmosphere was great. It was cozy, warm and the people were over the top friendly. The baker and his son came out and spoke to us! They even gave us an autograph. They were very personable. I felt really good about giving money to somebody who truly has a passion for what they are doing. They were so humble and down to earth! You will feel right at home here. It's like being in your grandma's kitchen having your favorite comfort foods. No place from New York to California has them beat in that way. We'll be returning when we travel back cross country in the near future. Don't skip this place when you are in Albuquerque!
Hello everyone,
If you like pizza and a cozy scenery you have to try this place out. Not only was the pizza delicious, but the staff was very friendly and attentive. The bakery side is also a must try so the next time you are tired of dions, dominos, or little ceasars but need pizza drive on down to this place... you won’t regret it.
Amazing cookies and bread. We didn't try the pizza or other offerings, but other customers in the shop raved about them! Highly recommend!
Food is good and you get a free cookie with your meal! It was a bit of a weight and while there are several tables inside, the place is small. It's cute, but be aware of the limitations. Parking is limited too. If it's busy, you may be parking along the street. But I would recommend the food and the staff was super friendly.
Very friendly place, great food, loved it.
The green chile crust pizza is really good and flavorful. We tried the pizza, some coffee, and the cookies when we came here, and everything was delicious. I can't wait until my next trip out to eat here again!
Oooooh man 🤤 They're absolutely the best ever "Chocolate Coffee Milkshake". It's a real waker upper, let's just say if your tired- you won't be nomore after you drink it 😳😋 And they have amazing bread's, pizza's, and sweet baked goods. I would recommend in a HEARTBEAT 💯❤🥰 So wonderful, but a little pricey 🤑 …
I had their Pizza there for the first time and it was so good. It was the first time I had had their Pizza there and of course they have the best pastries and cookies. A must visit.
Fantastic bakery and the pizza is great too! I got excellent recommendations from the staff who really knew there stuff. Additionally this isn't a BBQ place, but that counter staff is smokin! Best looking staff in any place I ate in Albuquerque. They were incredibly hot and even smarter, a deadly combination that will do them all well.
Pizza was good. Nice little place with a variety of baked goods. Although there was an issue with an order, the girl that baked the pizza had a rude attitude. She even came to the table with a piece of pizza arguing. To me that was very unprofessional. Then the server brought out the new pizza and just put it on the table rudely. Not a good experience for being the first time there.
I haven't ever had anything bad from Golden Crown. From empanadas, to pizza, to their own selection of fresh breads, all of it is amazing. Do yourself a favor and try their green Chile cheese twists and their guava creme libros. You won't be disappointed.
The owner and workers were so kind and helpful when we came in. We got a few cookies, a loaf of the green chile bread, and some empanadas. Everything was delicious and we will be back again!
I absolutely love this bakery! My mom and I have been coming here since I was in kindergarten. It is such a welcoming and warm environment and the food is always amazing. I always tell relatives and friends from out of town to try it because I know they won't be disappointed.
See this place a million times before in the past and decided to finally come in. They have great coffee and I highly recommend the cappuccino biscochitos.
Amazing empanadas and pizza. I'm sure everything else is good, too, but I always fill up on empanadas before I can try anything else! The staff are consistently kind and helpful, including with my kids. The location makes it our regular food stop before or after visiting the Natural History Museum. The outdoor space is really beautiful.
I was first interested in going here based off a photo of a delicious looking pizza that was posted to their Facebook page, as well as the write up of the pizza oven. Then I saw a review and write up by KOAT. My wife and I decided to try it out for dinner for date night and it was a great decision.
The food was amazing! The pizza was just as delicious as it looked in the photos and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The weather allowed us to sit in their patio in February, which made it even better.
Chris (owner/operator/what have you) greeted us and we struck up a conversation about the history of the bakery, the food, the oven, and life.
Great food, great service, great people! We will return with the family.
Great tasting pizza with a great selection from local micro breweries.
This place is adorable and absolutely delicious! We went for lunch and sat on the covered patio. The menu includes pizzas, sandwiches, sweet empanadas, and other baked goods. I had a roast beef sandwich that was considered a"small", but was actually pretty big. Their salads are big too, a "small" feeds 1 - 2 people. Depending on when you go, parking might be tricky, so try 11th and walking down to the corner.
We ordered cookies, banana bread, pastries and quiche.. all of it super delicious and yummy. Since I am a little late in writing this review I don't seem to remember the names of the pastries but One of the pastry had filling which was perfectly sweet and complimented great with the flakiness of the outside of pastry.
I love all of the food here and the service has always been super friendly. Great patio with plenty of room as well. I have been several times and have never had to wait for a table. One of my favorite places in Albuquerque.
Perfection. Have been 3x since my discovery a month ago. Everyone I bring goes back soon after. It’s all phenomenal. I’m obsessed with their pizza and libros currently. Fresh and great prices!
Excellent food and service. My only complaint was that it was close to 100 degrees today and their patio tables did not have umbrellas or any shade. It makes it difficult to enjoy your food when you're miserable.
This place is awesome! Visiting from San Diego, CA and HAD to try the New Mexico chili bread. Problem was, couldn't stop at just the bread! Their Tres Leches cakes are the best ever tasted! The coconut cakes were as delicious as they were beautiful! Next visit to Albuquerque will see me visiting again!
I worked at this place for a very long time . I also loved eating there , the coffee is amazing , especially the famous coffee milkshake. The biscochitos melt in your mouth . It's so welcoming and you feel like your in your grandma's kitchen . The empenadas are delicious and there's a variety of flavors. The lunch is amazing and Chris and Pratt are like family . 👍👍
Now that Laura is gone, this place has really gone to heck. No one cares any longer, the food isn’t as good, the atmosphere feels moldy, and the soda machine looks funny. Everyone that works here is still great and always do their beat, but management is weak, petty, and full of self-loathing. How could I know this? Because I am all of those things. You guys lost the best employee you have ever had. You screwed up and I hope you realize that every single day. Change your ways or things are going to get even worse. I’m a shaman and a fortune teller, and I tell you what! You messed up. Laura was your best reason to be open. Gosh, makes me so sick to my stomach. Ouch, it really hurts. Yes, yes, I tried going to the bathroom. It’s not that. No, it’s not gas either. Its probably just anxiety from missing Laura.
My favorite bakery in Abq. Everything we've ordered from here is excellent. You can tell that they care about the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The owner is friendly and informative. 10/10 would reccomend. My favorite sandwiches in Abq are from here.
I ordered a hand tossed pizza with green chili and tomato. It was delicious! There was definite contrast between the crust and toppings. The crust was crisp on the bottom and soft on top; absorbing the perfect amount of grease and sauce. This accentuated the flavor of the crust; artisan, rustic, and slightly nutty. Very flavorful.
The toppings were well dispersed. The tomato and green chili seemed to be embedded into the cheese and sauce even though the cheese was not excessive in proportion. It was perfectly cooked.
The sauce was more savory than sweet but definitely had a sweet component; what you would expect from an authentic pizza.
They even gave me 2 biscochitos on the side! I highly recommend Golden Crown and I will be going back soon.
I moved into a new home and I received a "welcome to the neighborhood" gift certificate for a free pizza in the mail from this place. Decided to check it out. Glad we went! Loved the welcoming biscochitos. Loved the pizza! Will definitely be back! Also loved seeing the Guy Fieri autographed picture from "Diners, Drive-In's and Dives". I definitely have to try their blue corn crust. Yup! I will be back.
Cathie
So excited about trying out this hidden gem in old town Albuquerque, very disappointed in the baked goods. Purchased the turkey bread for Thanksgiving. It's much cooler to look at than eat. Very dry with no flavor. We also purchased biscochitis, oatmeal and peanut butter cookies which were just ok. I was told the pizza was good so I'm looking forward to trying that, hopefully it'll be what I'm expecting!
Freshly, baked bread, empanadas, bizcochitos! Friendly service. We sat in the sunshine on the patio and had delicious, fresh sandwiches with a cold pint of local beer. I cant believe I didn't know about this 50 year young, hidden gem! Become a rewards member. Next time I'm there its piping hot pizza on the green chili crust.
Pratt makes some awesome tasty treats! LOVE the dough he uses for the empanadas. So different than your typical. Super yum!
Awesome sandwiches, pastrami is hard to beat. Great pizza but don't be fooled, their green chile crust doesn't taste much different than the regular crust, just add green chile as a topping if you want the flavor and spice. Two different quiches, both are excellent. One is meat and cheese and the other is veggie.
Excellent food, great ownership and employee's
I really love the strawberry tofu cheesecake. Unlike other cheesecakes that I had in other places, it isn't too heavy or too sweet. just nice for my taste bud. The place is really cramped and crowded so I opt for a takeaway.
What an amazing find. This place was great in every aspect. Good, service, freshness, coffee. The baking in this establishment is top notch. Had the pizza with green chili dough and it was awesome. Good family place.
We came through here as part of a 6-state road trip and we were blown away. The food is just nod-your-head-with-your-mouth-full good! Patrick behind the counter offered my kiddos cookies while we waited and gave us some great recommendation and some history about the establishment. Edwardo was polite and Laura was extremely sweet, bringing my daughter a painted rock for her rock collection. Just a wonderful experience! Too bad we live so far. Hope we can make it back someday.
I literally just finished eating the ham & swiss sandwich on green chili bread, and I have to say it was absolutely TO DIE FOR!!! Its a great little, humble, very friendly place that is now absolutely one my favorite places to eat at, and get food at! I couldnt be any happier and satisfied with the staff and the food. This is EXACTLY what comes to my mind when I think of not just good, but AMAZING service as well as AMAZING quality of food! Thank you! And the free biscochito was tasty as well!
This bakery has been around for FIFTY YEARS! We tried the bolillos, a blueberry empanada, blue corn biscochitos and their green chile bread. Everything was fresh and yummy!
Great service good pastries, and pizza.
Always a pleasure going to eat here. Staff is very friendly and generous. My wife and I usually go for just pizza when we are in town, made fresh and delicious. This place must always be included when visiting Albuquerque.
Nice to meet the Owners of this establishment that we saw on Food Network. We had a couple of Chai Teas & Empanadas. All & all a nice experience!
Starting from the free biscochito you receive when you arrive, the food you eat here is amazing. Whether you get a pizza or a sandwich, bakery items or a drink, everything is quality. I especially like their green chile bread, which is so worth having if you've never tried it. Definitely off the beaten path, but worth every penny!
This is a nice little bakery located close to Old Town Albuquerque. They make a nice variety of locally themed artisan breads and pastries. They also serve artisan pizza and local microbrews. The place also has good atmosphere and at the time there was live music. I really enjoyed the jalapeno cheese bread.
What an incredible family owned business! You have to try the empanadas and their famous Green Chili bread!!
OMG! You walk in & you'd swear you're walking into your Hispanic grandmother's kitchen. It smells that good! Great customer service. I had a delicious roast beef sandwich on green chili bread w/green chili, provolone & luscious tomato. Only downside -- parking is problematic.
My experience was a very nice break from the typical chains. this place is very unique cuz I believe was built out from an older home and made into a restaurant. Although it was old and was very clean and neat. I would suggest a sandwich. They seem to be famous for pizza but I would go with the sandwich.
Great service and delicious food! Enrique was so efficient and polite while helping me today when I went in to get my grandmother some treats. Definitely a favorite.
They treat you like family. The staff seems to genuinely like working there and the father son duo makes for a great partnership. They truly pride themselves in providing great service and a great experience. This should definitely be a stop for any local or tourist in town.
Stopped in for a quick lunch-bite while I was downtown today.....loved their small personal pizza, with 3 toppings and a drink for $12.... sitting on their patio on a balmy November day! Will go back and test drive one of their subs soon, or the blue corn flour pizza, another time😊 …
Great bakery in the heart of Albuquerque. We had a pizza with green chilis in the crust. Yum! Also, their green chili bread was good, but a bit dry. Don't forget to try their cookie and tiramisu for dessert.
On our trip to Albuquerque we came to this bakery. I had read an article about this place and it had good reviews. I loved it! My favorite was the apple empanadas. I had to take some home with me so I came back before we came back home. Also bought the green chile bread, very good. Too bad I didn't try the pizza they looked so good. I have to go back!
Always friendly and always tasty. Quaint and cozy with so many beers on tap. The pizza is artisan and the pastries are delicious. There's free bizcochitos. What's not to love? Support local!
Always a fantastic experience. Unfortunately, blue corn pizza crust was not as good today as it has been in the past. Veggies and herbs are always fresh and the baked goods are exceptional.
Awesome bakery located near Old Town. The fruit filled empanads are tasty and the biscochittos are as well. The best pizza I have tasted in Albuquerque. They did mess up on my pizza order during a very busy time but they made it more than right for me Nice outdoor seating as well.
Love the environment and customer service. You are received with their signature complementary cookie and everything is freshly made. Traditional pizza is a must as well as an empanada. Highly recommended for tourists and locals.
Placed an order for a sandwich using Uber Eats. They had no drivers in the area on St. Patrick's day weekend for nearly an hour. The restaurant was closing and Chris called me 2 times to keep me up to date on the problem and made it right in an unbelievable way. A chain place would just credit back my card. Great customer service!!
What an amazing bakery! As a v*gan, it's difficult to find good places to eat where you're not treated like an afterthought. This place serves an amazing veggie pizza. I did order with the green chilie crust, would order it 100x again. I also treated myself to a few cookies, delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive, even though it was 40 minutes or so until they closed. Will most definitely visit again should I find myself in the ABQ.
Must try the green chili twist, texture is like croissant yet packs a lot of spice and cheese flavors. Green chilli loaf is not bad but not as flavourful when eaten alone.
What a great experience! The sweet bread, empanadas, best biscochitos we've ever had. All the guys were sooooo nice and considerate and helpful. If you're a fan of Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives, you should check this hidden gem out for sure. Their sterling reputation is more than deserved.
Everthing i ordered was delicious. I got a pizza and some pastries and a loaf of the green chile bread..awesome. i will definately be coming back. The staff was as nice and friendly as they come. The building and outdoor eating area was adorable. I liked everything about this place.
Coffee and Biscochitos OG were delicious!!
Everything about this place is great. Excellent service, food, and pastries. You get a warm and fuzzy feel every time you enter. They greet you in with the best biscochitos you will have in your life. The staff is great, I've been coming here so long, that they feel like family to me. You wont find nicer people anywhere else. You MUST try their pizza and empanadas.
Such a beautiful place to be. Get anything. You'll like it. Staff is extremely engaging and friendly, and you will have a good experience no matter what time of day you come or what you coming for. They've got a cool new aquaponics system that is growing all their vegetables for the food they cook, that puts them up at the top of the list for me. Such a good thing to see. Check this place out!
Came in for the fruit empanadas, but they were sold out, so we cant comment there. Ordered some cookies to go and also received a free cookie upon walking in. Get anything that has the lemon curd inside. SO GOOD. Very cute little place and very friendly staff. Easy to walk away spending a bunch of money on cookies because you'll want one or two of everything.
Smells amazing walking in & the workers are so kind offering us free trys. We ordered and are definitely happy we came by.
Excellent place for pastries, pizza, coffee, as well as a large selection of local beer. The outdoor patio is spacious for nice days. The apple empanadas are the best I have had.
We love their green chile bread, biscochitos, and empanadas! The hot meals are ok, but sometimes it takes a while to prepare. It's a small place, not a chain restaurant, so I think they can get a bit overwhelmed when they are busy. Go on a day when you are relaxed and able to sit out and enjoy the patio! =)
From the moment you walk into Golden Crown, you feel like you're being cared for in a way that is unique to great local businesses. The staff is so, so, sweet! They make an amazing Jasmine in the Clouds, and I love their baked goods!
Breakfast empanadas were great as was the green chili quiche!
I placed my order online and picked it up in 25 minutes!! I couldn't wait to have a piece of the BEST green chile bread in the 505!! Head to open it on the way home!! Support your local businesses!! This place never disappoints!! Thank you Chris and crew for another great experience!!
The bread, desserts, and pizza here are always fantastic. Love it! Bundle up its sometimes cold inside but doesn't really matter because of the great food!
Golden Crown is one of my favorite places in Albuquerque to eat, so whenever I'm in the downtown/Old Town area I make sure to stop by.
The food is awesome, both sandwiches and pizzas. The baked goods, especially empenadas, biscochitos, and breads are to die for.
BEER! Golden Crown has a fantastic selection of local micro-brews from 4 or 5 different local breweries.
The vibe is laid back and thrown back, as the building dates back to something like the 1920s.
Awesome place!
Good good but patio was in disaray
A bakery that makes pizza?? Heck yes! the green chile crust option is amazing! Reasonable prices and delicious food. They give you a house made cookies just for visiting!
I really liked this place. It's small and quaint inside. The sandwiches will definitely fill you up. Not to mention the bread is delicious. It's also one of the few places that list London Fog (tea with steamed milk) as a drink item that I have seen.
Best green chile pizza dough and bread. Oh and don't forget about all the delicious varieties of biscochitos, empanadas and all the others tasty treats. Support Local!
Definitely not you average bakery. Worth the visit for something different and uniquely Albuquerque, but flavors and textures will not be for all.
What a special treat to have vegan options at a panaderia! The Mexican Hot Chocolate with almond milk, buenelo (tostada) and the biscochitos were delicious! I also really appreciate their safety protocols and friendly staff!
Eduardo was very helpful with our selection. Excellent customer service. Pizza...hand tossed crust...very, very, very good. Worth the ferry ride and drive from Alaska to get to eat here.
utterly delicious! Well, the biscochitos didn't actually seem to have much flavor, but the empanadas are divine and I had a flaky thing with guava jam in it that was delicious! only about 5 tables in the tiny place, but just get your stuff to go. SO GOOD! My friend raved over his loaf of green chile bread later. note, not much parking, either. Just park on the side street and walk, it's faster.
Excellent pizza, sandwiches, and of course baked goods. The green chile bread is amazing. Super nice folks behind the counter.
Absolutely blew my mind. This man is a true master or his craft. I just can't imagine better.
First time there, definitely going back!! Best coffee milkshake was soooooooo good!! Empanadas were amazing, biscochitos almost as good as the ones I grew up with!! Can't wait to try more of everything!!
My favorite restaurant in Albuquerque! The employees are always super cheerful and courteous - and generally give out free cookies! The pizza is delicious, although my favorite baked goodie to order are the blueberry empanadas!
Very cool spot in Albuquerque! Had some excellent pizza with blue corn crust and a fine beer from a nice list of local brewers. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Always perfection! Atmosphere is relaxing. Blue corn crust is amazing. Green chili bread is a must! Service is kind and quick. A MUST when in Albuquerque.
Local dive - hidden gem
Best pizza in town! Absolutely spectacular. The bread they have is delicious and it has a traditional taste. Easily the best bakery in ABQ! I love it here
They give you a biscocitto before you order. Very friendly. Food was amazing. Green Chile pizza dough was killer (not picante, just delicious). I can't wait to go back!
We were able to order our empanadas and biscochitos online. The ordering process and curbside pickup were fast and easy.
I won a free pizza! Thank you, it was delicious! Picked up a few Green Chile Twists for the road! They were awesome! You all. ROCK!
Omg! First time here. Definitely recommend and definitely will return. We purchased empanadas, bear claw, and other delicious items. Can't wait to yry thr bread loaves.
Our go-to place for bizcochitos during the holidays. We finally ordered one of their delicious pizzas. Love this adorable little place that smells like heaven!
Authentic empanadas. Plenty of filling. Unlike some places I've been to which have all breading, very little filling. Staff was friendly, attentive and prompt.
Great food, traditional Mexican pastries and cookies. Friendly service, charming Old Town Albuquerque atmosphere. High quality ingredients and delectable breads. Very nice outdoor seating area.
Great restaurant with friendly amazing staff. Very generous with everything. Highly recommended. The food here is amazing. They don’t use fryers or unhealthy cooking methods
Great atmosphere love that it still has the same look as when I was a kid for the most part. Enjoyed my coffee and pastry.
Cute place good food!
Had Hawaiian pizza w blue cornmeal. Delicious. Staff wonderful and very nice. Latte awesome forgot to post cool design in latte.
Like always.... The food was very good. However the service was very slow. We got our sandwiches before the smoothie we ordered. Seems the staff was more concerned with serving beer, than our smoothie......
Sweet aromas from the moment you walk in. Stopped by as a recommendation and definitely recommending this place. Delicious pastries and a sweet staff.
Met the owner and had the m pi st wonderful conversation he is fantastic and the food is soooo good would highly recommend this place
Local friends recommended this cozy spot for the biscochitos, which are utterly fantastic! Lunch was excellent; the sandwiches were hearty and filling. Staff was friendly and very efficient. Would absolutely come back when we come to visit abq in the future.
WOW! Let me see if I can muster the proper words, I just happen to be a profound and highly skilled speaker of the language of food. Even at my 5'4" , 116 pound, 55 year old self.
This Father and Son business has an amazing history- the staff working there are absolutely over the top friendly- that in itself is tops for me.
But it doesn't stop there! The pizza will make your head spin! I'm not even a pizza connoisseur! But, it's heavenly!
The pastries divinely melt in your mouth; we had lemon and apple empanadas. My goodness gracious!
We also got the traditional mexican wedding cookies, and the original biscochitos. As of that wasn't enough...we bought a loaf of New Mexico Chile bread, which they happily sliced for us.
Did I mention that I also speak fluent hyperbole??
Food is good!
PS...we hiked up the Embudito Trail prior to the bakery to build that appetite! 🤣 🥯🧁🥯🧁
An excellent bakery that specializes in pizzas and Mexican pastries. It's tempting to describe this shop as "quirky", or "unique", where it is just a very good example of Burque style. Each customer receives a free Biscochito on entering. Local beers are available, as well as outdoor seating and live music. Locals and tourists alike should visit whenever possible.
Tasty cookies. Colorful. Friendly staff.
The Green Chili bread is so good... if you haven't tried it... your missing out!! In fact everything I ordered was great!!
Lovely little neighbourhood bakery! Had a small breakfast and liked the place so much we came back for dinner. Highly recommend the blue corn dough pizza!
This place has enough rave magazine reviews and celebrity chef endorsements that they really don't need my five star Google review, but I'll give it anyway, because they live up to the hype. Get the veggie sandwich on green chile bread and an apricot empanada for dessert. You won't be sorry.
A neighborhood icon. Get the New Mexico state cookie, the biscochito. Great selection of sweet empanadas from pumpkin to apple. Pastries and pig shaped cookies. Try the strawberry cheese danish. Great pizza, and salads with fresh greens and avocado. Large selection of great breads. Featured on Drive-ins, Diners, and Dives.
This s a gem of a place located just outside of Old Town. Excellent sandwiches for lunch and quite a variety of baked goods.
After looking up best bakeries, I was led to this delightfully unpretentious bakery. I just picked up some biscochitos and a couple of slices of tres leches cake (both wonderful, but try the chocolate.. amazing). I was very very happy with everything and wanted to let others know. Thank you for a great product and I will be visiting again.
Friendly staff and delicious pizzas. I wish I had the opportunity to try the pastries.
I paid for my sandwich but didn't get it. We didn't know it was separate and not in the bag with the bakery goodies. We left and no one attempted to stop us or give us a shout out. We live in Rio Rancho so no one was available to drive down town to get it. Didn't miss it until we got home and opened the bag.
Great brews on tap! Family owned and run, there’s a personal touch on everything here. One of the most warm and welcoming places in Albuquerque, the food is, without fail, stellar! I wish this place could clone itself, but the father and son team are too committed to maintaining quality to dilute the heart of their business.
Biscochitos, bolillos and empanadas of so many varieties are only the start. My family has been buying bread from here from the start, over 30 years!
Is it strange to say that a business can help restore your faith in humanity? This is the small business that I wish every small business was. Ethical, green, good to their employees, friendly towards everyone and generous! Everyone who comes here gets a free biscochito!
Always great food and employees are polite and personable. Can't beat their pizza as well as the bread in all flavors, and the best biscochitos in town.
I love this bakery. Pizza and sandwiches are 4 of 5 stars. Im not only going back im telling everyone who will listen this place is in my top 10 Albuquerque list
Fun, funky bakery and pizza place in an old adobe house. The baked goods include green chile bread along with empanadas (fold-over sweet pies) and other Mexican and Anglo pastries. They have great coffee specialties and even quiches for breakfast. The lunch pizzas are available with blue corn or green chile crusts. They also have a wide variety of craft beers. My favorite part: every "kid" -- of any age -- gets a free biscochito, which is a traditional New Mexico sugar cookie with a bit of anise and sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon.
This place has everything you need... Grear food, great baked goods, and yummy drinks! The only small complaint is the lack of air flow inside so seating area is very warm, but I get it may be for the need of baking.
I promise, if you like green chili's then you have to order a pizza with the green chili crust. It's fantastic and full of flavor.
One of the best pizza joints in town, good pastry selection and excellent bread. Have a la cumbre beer and a blue corn green Chile pepperoni pizza and you day will be amazing.
First visit, but we will return. Had a 12" pie and enjoyed the patio on a nice fall lunch. 😋 …
I dropped by last weekend, the food was delicious and my server Leanna was super sweet and gave great recommendations.
First time, I loved ot. Good coffee and the raspberry empanada was delicious. Just desserts...
Such a joy to visit. There is a very vast array of pastries. Think your grandma's classics, but glammed up by professional chefs- in a good way. Was greeted with a boscocito, one for both me and my boyfriend. The gesture was very cute! The pastries were good, but was the most expensive conca I've bought in ABQ so far. For sure a must go!
Staff was super fun and friendly, and the food was great! I had a delicious sandwich, empanada and bought a loaf of French bread for dinner. It's all fantastic!
Great food with a nice New Mexico flare! They have a great bread with green chiles that you can get as a loaf or as the crust on a pizza!
Awesome! Pizza was rely good. Save room for dessert though, pastries and cookies. Yum!
Loved this place. The owner was charming and his son very helpful. Food was awesome. Bought empanadas to go with two loafs of bread. The empanadas didn't make it home. Wanted to try the apricot empanadas but they were sold out.I highly recommend visiting here.
Not what I expected but, I am comparing it to panaderias from West Texas where I grew up. I was surprised that their specialty is pizza? Had heard many good things about it but don't think I will visit again anytime soon.
Everything we bought was delicious!
The BEST! Biscochitos. Empañadas. NM Wedding Cookies. Green chili bread and pizza dough... the list goes on and on and on... staff is super cool and very kind!
Great place! Relaxed and cozy, very friendly staff, good choice of sweets and beverages. There are tables outside so you can enjoy nice weather with a glass of something. Very good experience :)
Golden Crown is a great local place with wonderful pizzas, great sandwiches (I had the turkey & Swiss on honey whole wheat), and biscochitos, cookies, empanadas, and other treats. Don't miss out!
A hidden ABQ gem! Everyone is so friendly and the food is amazing! I haven’t been able to try anything off the menu, but the breads and pastries alone keep me coming back, and I don’t even live near ABQ.
Delicious pastries and cookies, good coffee, empanadas are my fav. The dining room is a little cramped during peak hours, but it's understandable with how great everything is!
One of my favorite places to eat in this part of town. Pizza is so tasty and they have a great beer selection. Beautiful patio for the evenings.
Very friendly and helpful employees at this place. I ordered a pizza to go and it was very tasty and fresh. I can't wait to eat there again.
Wow what a great place. Food is outstanding!! The owners are such wonderful people who help their community!!! I would pick this place over most other pizzerias in town!!!! Love this place.
The best pizza i had, the cust is really good and heathly and dont get me started with the cookies there so nice and chewy and has a nice crunch to it, if it would let give it a six star i would.
Amazing bread! Pizza is fantastic and they always give you a biscochito sample at the counter. Also try the blue corn one, it is very unique.
The patio was beautiful. Blue corn biscochitos are great, definitely one of a kind. The only drawback was that the Americano was not fresh brewed, rather it was from a machine.
Out of towner needing a biscochito fix. Perfect spot! So friendly. I'll be back!
Any place that greats me with a fresh bisochito, a cookie native to New Mexico, when I walk in the doors is off to a good start. Top it off with green chili pizza crust good friendly service and you have a winner.
Top 3 best pizzas in Albuquerque. Great outdoor seating. My favorite is the big meat pizza with green chille crust.
We really love visiting this place when we are in town! A local favorite, and a sense of being a guest in their home. Just great food.
We had a large pizza customized to our liking! YUMMY!!!!😋 …
Neat little hole-in-the-wall bakery serving baked goods, pizza, and sandwiches. The green chile bread loaf is my go-to; it’s a bit off the beaten path but absolutely worth checking out.
Great place! Wonderful atmosphere. Love the pastries and cookies. But...the Pizza truly rocks!
This local bakery is the jewel of Albuquerque. Try a bluecorn crust pizza. You won't be dissapointed. Sandwiches with the green chile bread are like nothing you've ever had, and their salads are large with super fresh crisp greens. No New Mexican bakery would be incomplete without sweet empanadas. They have cherry and apricot flavors which are especially good. You are created by friendly staff and a fresh biscochito the moment you walk in the door.
Love this place, hate it when they run out of bread.
We are from Orange County California, wish you had a place in So Cal. Great, great green chili bread. Enpanadas too!
This was one of my favorite local bakery. I Went in for an empanada and was VERY discussed when i got home to find a black curly hair BAKED into my empanadas. I am very disappointed and will not be returning 🤢🤮😞👎 …
One of their many delicious menu items that you must try are their New Mexican Empanadas are fresh like everything else and the Lemon version is my favorite of a pocket of tasty!
A neighborhood gem! Great bread, pastries, pizza and beer! Couldn't recommend it enough. Family owned and operated. They live nextdoor for God's sake. Doesnt get more local than that!
We wanted conchas. They dont have them. We personally wernt a fan of the biscochitos, kinda dry, but to each their own. Empanadas are decent, but seem kind of expensive at $2.50 each.
Golden Crown has some of the best pizza I've ever eaten. I love the crust, which isn't too thick or thin and is very flavorful. The empanadas and biscochitos are amazing too. The empanadas have a biscochito crust.
As soon as you walk in you ate greeted with a hello and a biscochito. The aroma of freshly baked breads and sweets is amazing. They also have pizza.
Got here early for fresh out of the oven deliciousness. Cookies, empanadas, concha and a loaf of green chili bread. It was a great morning.
The personal size green Chile pizza was amazing and just the right size.
Pasteries! Nuff said? No? The only bakery allowed to say NewMexican because it has more than 80% new mexico recipes. And they are amazing! Plus the fresh, quality, ingredients on their pizza. If your lucky youll get a free biscochito :) thanks for mine btw
Delicious pizza, quirky atmosphere, and a nice beer selection with plenty of local microbreweries. The green chile crust is, of course, delicious.
One of my favorite pepperoni pizzas. Always nice to eat at the outside patio on a nice day. Don't skip this joint or you'll be missing out.
Great people, everyone gets a cookie for coming in, which is great customer appreciation. Beer, pizza, sandwiches and a large selection of Mexican pastries make this a wonderful lunch spot.
Very nice. Tiny, friendly, family run Mexican bakery. Serves pizza & sandwiches w/ a variety of teas & coffees. GOOD FOOD!
Always enjoyable. Great pizza & goodies. I love bringing their empanadas & biscochitos to friends' events & get togethers.
Great pizza, smoothies, & baked goods! So glad we made this our lunch spot on our road trip back home. 🙂 …
Excellent panaderia with great pizza and incredible local beer selection. One of my favorite spots in Albuquerque! Biscochito for all the kids!
I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to eat so I ordered a little bit of everything to snack on.
Fun, cozy little bakery with traditional New Mexican style desserts, breads and more. The pizzas are great and it's a cute spot!
Delicious! It is small, and cute. We sat on the patio and had a live musician to enjoy. The customer service was wonderful.
Great place for coffee fresh and delicious. Also has alot of goodies like pastries and great lunch and dinner menu like pizza also has beer and live music on some nights great place over all...
Found this place by accident. Wow. Great pizza and good beer. Great bakery items as well. Will go back next time in the area.
This place is sheer awesomeness! Their cookies are super tasty and the empanadas are great! I've been to a lot of panaderias and this one ranks as one of my favorites!
This place is phenomenal. Cool vibes with the staff, freshest dough or pizza. We love the Green Chile bread!
This is a must visit if you are coming to Albuquerque. The absolute best baked goods and the world's best coffee shake.
Delicious! Fun place with great food. Sitting outside in the patio with waterfalls was so relaxing. Don’t miss it.
The experience was awesome, smells great! The cookies are delicious.. I would definitely come back to try a pizza soon..
Great pastries, so much selection! a bit crowded and very little indoor seating, but the bread and treats were delicious. Super yummy!
Great local pizza joint
One of the best, period. Well known for their green chili cheese bread. Had a nice write up a while back showing that they ship orders internationally.
Amazing cookies! And empanadas. Super patient staff, and cute ambiance.
