Low fat, big scoops, fun store - what more could you ask for? My kids always choose Frost as their reward treat and we are happy to take them. So many fun and tasty flavors that rotate. Come in and check them out, especially when it’s hot outside.

Excellent choice to satisfy a sweet tooth. Wide variety of flavors and with being able to sample you can find the right choice. The small size gives you one flavor choice, the medium you can choose two flavors, and the large lets you choose up to three flavors. I had a small Toasted Marshmallow (left) and the Crema Di Biscotti aka Oreo (right), then finished with two chocolate truffles. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, definitely recommend.

We have been here twice so far in the past month!! The sorbet is so creamy, rich, and flavorful that I couldn't believe I was eating the sorbet instead of the gelato. My husband has tasted the gelato, and can confirm that it is equally as delicious! The staff is super polite and very helpful - and when I couldn't decide what I wanted the first time, the recommendation was perfect. I've gotten mango, strawberry, blackberry and raspberry so far and I just keep wanting more... and they've been great about making sure that the pint or quart we've brought home with us is packed tightly and so full that there isn't room for even a sprinkle to fit! XD which I'm very grateful for. The displays are absolutely gorgeous, they look unreal! The decorations only serve to make me want to taste everything, it's all just so appealing. This last time we went, there was a lavender gelato that I wanted to taste SO badly as soon as I saw it. Seating indoors is a little limited, but there's great places to sit just outside, which is where you really want to be while enjoying your frozen treat :) Very chill atmosphere inside and out! For Covid, they have several barriers and other measures in place to make sure you can safely get your gelato or sorbet, and there are also the floor stickers if you need help keeping distance while you order. The in and out doors are set up to let you naturally pass through without roadblocks, which seems to work quite well. Very ADA accessible. We will definitely be returning as soon as we finish the limoncello and blackberry combo we brought home. This is our new favorite dessert place, and we will be back as soon and often as we can!

We were celebrating an accomplishment so my good friend & I took ourselves in for some yummy, smooth, delicious Gelato. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It's clean, never crowded, affordable & everything is so fresh & delicious. My only complaint is I can't get enough!

Great gelato! Many flavors to choose from. Everything I sampled before finally deciding what to order was very tasty. Great service, reasonably priced for what you get and the quality. They were closing shortly after we left and I've never seen any eatery spend so much time cleaning everything so thoroughly

Besides the many flavors of wonderful, home made gelatos, they also have a few warm drinks and a wonderful drink called a sorbitino. You can choice the sorbit you want it made with and they are really, really refreshing. There are a few tables inside and outside if you want to relax there.

This has to be the best gelato in Albuquerque. Absolutely delicious, quite a selection to pick from. The sea salt caramel is to die for. They also have some coffees and other things they can make with the gelato. The staff is SO friendly and helpful. It’s a tiny shop and there are a couple tables inside and a little bar to sit at. Absolutely fantastic spot.

This is what I imagine eating pure cream is like. Not something I’ve ever wanted to do before but perhaps I might now (LOL!) since this was divine! So rich and creamy (but not so sweet that it made you sick) this was just a beautiful blend of tastes. It was delicious and everyone who had some wanted more, myself included!!

Very tasty gelato. Prices were what I was expecting and gelato was nice and creamy. I’ve tried a few ice cream places in ABQ and I kept getting freezer burnt ice cream, so I am excited to add this to my rotation for fresh gelato with great flavors. I tried the salted caramel and dark chocolate gelato as samples. They currently only allow 2 samples which I thought was weird because of all the flavors they had. There were at least 3 different chocolate flavors and 2 different caramel flavors and some of the gelato has texture to it which I like to try before getting because generally I don’t want to eat my gelato. I ended up getting the Alpen caramel hoping the lady described it well enough that it is “not as sweet as the salted caramel”. I didn’t want something as sweet as the salted caramel and it worked out. She said they only allow “2 samples at this time” so I can’t wait for the time where they allow more samples, even if there is still a limit, I think 2 is too limited especially for what they are offering. My husband got a mango champagne sorbet, which had soft pieces of mango in it. He also tried the raspberry which had bits of seeds in it which was not a nice texture for him. The staff wore gloves and for me it makes it more apparent when they either don’t switch gloves or wash their hands when they should. Ie if you cough near your wrist or hand, wash your hands and switch the gloves. I’d rather wait for someone to wash their hands than watch someone try to shrug it off.

Ah-maze-ing! Tasted multiple flavors and each was delicious, which made it very difficult to decide. Finally decided on the honey lavender and I was instantly transported to heaven. The texture was perfectly creamy. It's a bit on the expensive side, but well worth the splurge.

A ton of great flavors! You can sample before you buy which is a great way to find your favorite! We had the Salted Caramel and Mint Chip and both were wonderful! Highly recommend the S'mores flavor as it has a cool campfire smoke flavor to it!

I’ve never had gelato, at least none that was as delicious and memorable. The place was pretty busy but it didn’t take long to get our order. Ice cream Is not anything I ever eat more than a few times a year. Well this Gelato was nothing I tasted before and now I’m craving it after a week! I ordered coconut and black cherry. I ate every last nite of a medium. Never done that with ice cream.🎉

Every Nov 21st for the past 4 yrs our family(12-16 of us) gather to celebrate and honor my dad on his birthday. He LOVED ice cream, and would have loved FROST! The staff there is so friendly and very accommodating as we all tend to " take over" the place for the evening, but they never complain and we're always greeted with a smile and great service! Thank you Frost, your gelato and your staff always make this day full of family memories for us💗

There are allot of different flavors. They are all really good. You can only sample 2 because of covid and spoon limits, not to mention to keep the line down. I think the best option is to get two different flavors in one bowel. The flavors are really strong so if you get just 1 flavir it can be over powering. There are also many other options then just gelatio. Milkshakes and dairy free options along with sugar free options. If you are going for the first time the staff can help you out but I would recommend avoiding weekends during rush hours as the line can get really long. There isn't much room inside so a line linger then 4 or 5 people means you waiting outside. Also there is only 1 or 2 tables inside. the rest is outdoor seating. The seating outside is nice but just know that there is no coverage so a hot or rainy day you would have to make a dash to your car or another shop with the Gelato. The only weird thing is that when you pay they ask for a tip. Which makes no sense to me ask they just give you the favor you ask for. I always feel weird about telling someone no to a tip but you have to decide on your own.

They have so many choices of gelato! I didn't count but I would say it was well over 20 options. And just seeing them displayed, they are like works of art with their garnishes ! I got a small baklava and it was so delicious! I will be coming back to try every flavor! There was no line and I got my gelato quickly. Everyone there was friendly and the prices were good. I think it was about $5 for the small.

Even throughout the pandemic, their staff remained very friendly and welcoming. Last time that we went it was slower than usual and an employee had brought us all water as well as given my service dog some whip cream. It was a warmer day so we all appreciated the nice cold water. Definitely recommend this place especially on a hot day.

This place has 🔥 gelato and makes the most beautiful cakes! True story: I once had a business meeting here in March about 5 years ago. Anyway, fuhgeddabouda meeting!! My point is that ever since that day I just haven’t been able to stay away from Frost. For the past two hundred and sixty weeks I have been visiting this location pretty consistently. I’m probably there maybe five days a week with an average visit length lasting somewhere around eight hours. Yep. Their product is THAT good. I won't say it's better or worse than ice cream, just different. It's worth a try if you haven't already. Used to work here about 3 years ago. Went in and nothing has changed (in a good way). Everyone is friendly and patient while you make the difficult decision between umpteen different delicious flavors. Also I know the owners well and they are good people and worth supporting. Check it out if you haven't.

I love going to Frost for a little treat. It’s delicious. My favorite time to go is the summer so you can enjoy the gelato outside as there is not much room on the inside of the store. I like that they offer samples and rotate the flavors. It’s always very clean and well kept as well. And I like that they offer the gelato stand for special events such as weddings.

If there is one thing this crazy world can agree on, it would be the love for Ice Cream.... The presentation of every Gelato or Sorbet that they have is above and beyond anything I've ever seen before. They make everything in house so it's not someone else's Ice cream their selling and it's pretty affordable. I got a large shake and it was 7.50 because I put two flavors in it. Banana Sorbet and A Black Cherry Gelato together and im on my way over there to get another one as I talk to text hahahaha. I'll add pictures after I finish my shake. Better hurry if you want to try my mixed flavor shake idea cuz I'm gonna ask if I can purchase the entire container of each ice cream!!

Always love coming to this place for a little treat! The gelato is amazing and the variety of flavors can appeal to anyone, whether they want a more creamy flavor or a sherbet type. The staff is always friendly and willing to give sample of what ever flavor you want to taste. Just wish they would offer two flavors in the small size cup rather than having to get a medium. This place is awesome! So many different flavors of gelato to accommodate anyone taste. The flavors do change according to season. You are able to sample before you buy. I have to say I am more into the fruity flavors but have enjoyed the chocolate chip. Worth the money to give it a try. They also sell coffee and milkshakes. I'm from Minnesota, the home of Dairy Queen. I like a Blizzard once in a while. But were there a Frost location near me, I'd always choose Frost's gelato over any other ice cream...even Chocolate Shoppe, and that's saying something! Rich, creative flavors served up by nice people with superb efficiency, it just can't be beat! I commend their dark chocolate and gianduia (hazelnut chocolate: think Nutella, but I'm pretty sure they actually puree Ferrero Rocher candies into it) flavors to my follow chocolate lovers.

We had Frost as a caterer for our wedding recently! They were easy and great to work with. Daniel, the manager, was incredibly friendly and professional. He was kind and thoughtful enough to set aside our flavors at the beginning of the event, especially as we were busy talking and taking photos. Everything that you pay for is worth it, including set up, serving time, and the specialization of the flavors. Our guests loved this personal and unique touch to our wedding. And one of the best parts was that my husband and I got to keep the leftovers! They didn't last long because of course the quality of the gelato is amazing!

Wonderful place, clean and bright, well stocked, friendly staff. Amazing range of flavors, all can be sampled. Many gluten free. The best thing is all flavors actually taste like real food, as they are made from real fresh fruits and ingredients right there. Best desserts around.

Delicious gelato and so many flavors to choose from! Highly recommend! A small is $3.98, but it is so rich and delicious it is a good enough size. There is hardly any indoor seating, two tables 6 chairs total. They have lots of outdoor seating nearby, but if the weather isn't good be aware there isn't much inside. The gelatos are beautifully displayed and so creamy and full of flavor. We will definitely go back.

Raleigh, NC really needs a Gelato place as good as this one. Going to Frost was an event. If you have trouble deciding, don't even bother because there are so many flavors and they are all great. Who knew there could be this many Gelato flavors all in one place at one time. The place was packed on a Friday night when I visited and even still, the staff was so great, they didn't mind that I tasted about 10 different flavors or that it took me forever to decide. In the end, you can never go wrong with peanut butter gelato when there is chocolate mixed in.

One of my favorite dessert places. There are so many flavors it's hard to choose even if you have 100 samples. Yes they have samples. It's a bit expensive and can get busy but it's worth it. Great for a birthday treat or on a hot summer day.

Quality Gelato, tart flavors are really great. So many flavors it makes it hard to choose. The sizes and prices are very appropriate and not too expensive. The smallest size can be too much if you're having an after dinner snack.

I love Frost and I have always been a fan. I came opening night without knowing so! I miss the Nob Hill location, it was bigger and there were always plenty of people in the area to sample some great choices. Lately, this place smells of sewer and it has a stagnant smell lingering right when you walk in. This review is mostly a concern for the employees who need to at least prop a door open for air circulation, but also because I don't know how much this smell affects the gelato. Either way, it's an unpleasant smell and something needs to be done.

So delicious! I love gelato and Frost hit the spot. I had the hazelnut chocolate which was delicious. My husband had the affagato (espresso over gelato) and loved it. The prices were reasonable, the place was clean, and the staff were friendly. The place is smaller, so don't come with a large group and expect to sit together inside. However there is plenty of outside seating.

Glad to have such a fine gelato shop in Albuquerque. Gelato quality and service are excellent, but the cost can be stunning! We buy several pints each visit and drive an hour or more to carry it home. The Frost folks do a super job of packing an ice bag that helps for the drive.

Everytime. I cannot even get past the first selection of flavors. One of which I always get and the other when its available. The sea salted caramel is hands down the best you will ever try. If you're feeling fruity then the third section of flavors might be more pleasant to your pallet. Tea and crumpets is a good go to and the pistachio. Omg, YUM!

If you haven't been here yet you have to go! It is the best ice cream in town. We have been getting our ice cream at Frost for years and there is a reason they are regularly voted #1 ice cream in town! They have their regular flavors and they rotate a few seasonal flavors each month for something new. They have gelato, milkshakes, coffee, ice cream bites covered in chocolate and speciality cakes! They are a bit expensive but so worth it for the quality. Ice cream is a treat there is no reason to skimp, you will never be as happy with anything that is poor quality.

Stopped by this place yesterday at dusk to satisfy a sudden sweet tooth. I arrived just in time too, as a line quickly formed behind me in what is a rather small gelato shop (outdoor seating is available however). The presentation of this place is what will impress most who venture in for the fist time. The preparation and display of their product is on par as the many of the gelato shops I visited while in Europe. As you stand in line you are greeted by the employees who never shy away from offering your harts content in free samples. Once a decision has been made, you venter over the register and pay slightly higher prices than what is usually the norm at a more conventional ice creme parlors. However, the superior quality justifies the expenditure. If you're ever in the ABQ uptown area shopping around or are simply just in the neighborhood, give this place a go. It will relieve you of whatever glucose deficiency you may be suffering from.

Frost Gelato is always decadent. The atmosphere is very welcoming and staff is always happy and helpful. This is real gelato, not like the faux-gelato sold at most places. I almost always get a medio with Almond and Irish Cream gelato. The small can only have one flavor, the medium can have two and the large can have three. They also have gelato lattes that are very good. I go to Frost whenever I am in the area. I would highly recommend Frost.

This is my favorite dessert place in Albuquerque! There are plenty of exotic gelato flavors to choose from and they are all freshly made daily. The coconut with mango goes really well. I love the beautiful presentation with orchids, fruit and chocolate, so tempting 😊 They also make cakes decorated elegantly with fruits and chocolate, as well as little bite size chocolate coated gelato. The coffee is delicious too, sometimes an affogato is just what I need!

I went last night with some friends and one of my friends wanted the straciatella ,she wanted a little bit of the chocolate that comes on top of the Gelato, I'd ask if she could have some and the person who was attending us said no because that was part of the decoration, we'd ask for just a little tiny piece so she could try it and he said no so I'd ask to speak to the manager ,however his response was very rude and disappointing ,he said to me due to the fact I was buying the cheapest kind of gelato I wasn't able to get some of the chocolate featured on top of the flavor,and he couldn't do anything about it, I told him I was a paying customer and I thought what I'd ask was just for a tiny piece of it and he said there was nothing he could do about it, I think either spending on the smallest or the largest size,we all are paying and valuable customers to all businesses,and we're all supposed to be treated equally,I'm never coming back to this business,sadly...such a great taste thrown away for poor management and rude employees...:-(
