Reviews of Coda Bakery
Best Banh MI sandwiches and drinks! Tried the over easy egg sandwich (#11) and a #1 that has very unique and delicious meats on it. Fresh bread, crunchy yet soft. Also grabbed some fresh sesame balls with white bean paste. They had alternative milks so had an iced coffee with coconut milk and sugar. Also tried a Vietnamese iced coffee, creamy and just sweet enough. A must try for a quick eat!
Amazed by the quality and value of our food! If I could give them 6 stars I would. We got #62, a grilled chicken noodle bowl and #6, a pork sandwich. The bread was phenomenal and the meat was grilled perfectly. It's a little local hole in the wall with authentic and quick Vietnamese food. I highly recommend!
Best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten! Seriously we try a lot of places and this was amazing. Perfect flavor. The lemongrass beef sandwich was out favorite. Which they did say they only serve lemongrass on weekends.
No dine in but they do have a couple of benches outside their shop.
I had not been to this place in ten years. My friend from Seattle recommended this place. I also saw a blue bloods episode where they ate banh mi. I was not disappointed. I ordered the #1 Coda Combo. Awesome fresh baguette, sweet flavor of meats assembled by a crew of Vietnamese women who could be my grand ma. Fast and friendly service. You won't be disappointed. Try them out. The best banh mi in NM.
Bahn mi to die for and fresh, delicious baked goods. What more could you want? I tried this place for the first time today because of its stellar reputation and great reviews. I am kicking myself for not coming here sooner. Absolutely the best Bahn Mi sandwich that I have ever had! I spotted a puffed pastry filled with chicken and it looked so good that I had to buy that as well. I ate both, they were so wonderful. Now I'm stuffed but happily so.
Delicious only begins to describe the food. We came for lunch for the banh mi sandwiches, but there were so many other delicious looking food items available. Upon entering, there are pictures of many of their banh mi sandwich offerings, but fortunately I looked at menu behind the counter and saw more options. I ordered the number 13, Ca Mui (sardines with onion in tomato sauce) and it was absolutely delicious! Way exceeded any expectations I had. Everyone with us also thoroughly enjoyed their meals. It was so good we came back the following day, I ordered the same banh mi sandwich and enjoyed it as much, a colleague ordered the same as me and also thoroughly enjoyed it. This is my new go to spot to grab lunch when I'm visiting Albuquerque
Excellent food! gets busy inside at lunch. Fairly fast. Food is always very fresh. Bakery products seem like they were just baked. Bread is great.
Very tasty. They have bowls and sandwiches. I got a 12” sandwich with double meat for $13. It was delicious. They have tables outside for outdoor dining.
Delicious #1 with cilantro, peppers, pate, 3 types of ham or something, all in a beautifully crunchy baguette! The counter was filled with other delicacies and crisp tofu I will be back to try. Unfortunately only dining is outside and filled with trash but I highly recommend for take out! It’s about 8 dollars plus tip per super long sandwich.
Coda bakery is a gem. The noodle bowl portion size is huge with a healthy serving of meat and fresh veggies. The food is delicious and service is efficient and polite. I will be back again and again.
Coda Bakery hands down has the best Bahn Mi sandwiches in the city. I’ve been going here for years and I am never disappointed with the food. I’ve had everything on the menu and generally favor the grilled shrimp/pork sausage and the beef lemongrass sandwiches. The noodle bowls, spring rolls, and the shakes are always on point. I also always get the fried tofu with every meal with the occasional sesame balls. The staff is friendly and keep up with the orders when the place gets really busy during the lunch hours. This place one of the best places to eat in Albuquerque and strongly recommend it to anyone that is visiting in ABQ or lives here and haven’t yet tried it. This place is amazing!
First time I had came, the lettuce was old and smelled really bad so I had to toss the wrap away. I came back again after 1+ years, i had the pork sausage sandwich and the sesame balls it was delicious! I will come again.
The banh mi is one of the great culinary treasures of our city! My favorites are the pork meatball, and the grilled chicken.
This is the place to get amazing food the bread is freshly made and even the parking lot smells amazing!!
Dirty place, dirty door, floor and cushions.
I ate tuna salad. The dressing and fried tuna marinated in some sweet sauce made me feel like I was eating a dessert. Partner ordered sandwich with pork. Not the best. Mediocre. There are other Vietnamese restaurants with much better tasting banh mi.
They have interesting desserts and fried tofu that I'd love to try one day. Therefore, I'd say go for it instead of sandwich.
This place is amazing! So many delicious options it’s hard to choose what to get! I got a noodle bowl which was so yummy and banh mi which was also very good. And the Vietnamese coffee…so strong and sweet and perfect. Highly recommend!
Was not honestly expecting to find good, authentic Banh Mi in Albuquerque, but here it is! We had the Bo La Lot (lemongrass beef) and while it didn't have the traditional betel leaf, it was seasoned perfectly. Would come here again.
Tofu noodle bowl was so fresh with all the herbs and cucumber sticks, dressing was bomb. Can’t wait to get this again! Also great price for the amount and quality.
Talk about a hidden treasure this restaurant is a first-class experience, so fresh and delicious for a fair price I can't wait to bring everyone I know back with me to try the endless combinations of healthy options. New favorite spot.
So, over the weekend I had a potluck dinner to attend for a square dancing club that I'm a member of and I didn't have the time to prepare food to take, myself. I was thinking of who could do the food for me and Coda Bakery came to mind.
I decided I would order and carry shrimp summer rolls and both pork and chicken bahn mi sandwiches. I gave the bakery less than 24 hours of notice which wasn't a problem because it wasn't a really big order or anything.
Everything turned out just great. The food I took was a huge hit and I owe it all to Coda.
I will say that I also absolutely go nuts over their jackfruit smoothies. They are to die for. Vietnamese coffee is great, too.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. They definitely earned their terrific reputation.
Thank you, Coda.
Fantastic bahn mi! Super generous portion size, which is fantastic.
Delicious food. I had the #6 pork sandwhich with veggies was excellent. The bread was just right crispy on the outside soft inside. Lots of interesting foods to order and some ready to go will definitely come back 👍. …
This Vietnamese sandwich shop is the top sandwich shop in Albuquerque !
Fast, efficient take out service - a wee bit pricey - but fresh French buns made fresh on premises, exquisitely spiced sandwiches made in a quick flash
These folks know the restaurant industry and deliver in the most expeditious way
Just a rare pleasurable experience in every way.
Best sandwiches in albuquerque. You might be thinking to yourself, how could this be any good, it's just sandwiches. Go here. Now. It's sooo good. They have other bakery items as well. Buttery, soft, delicious, they're worth it too!
I haven't been to this establishment for a few years and it seems this place has grown in size. Literally, I walked in and felt like I was in a different restaurant. They have actually expanded their seating area to cater to more customers. The interior looks more modern with the gray theme. They have also brightly show their menus on the wall.
One new thing that I noticed is the phone order. I can call to order and food and they have their own line for phone order. I think it's really cool. Not that the place is slow in their services but I think having such phone order checkout is a nice touch.
The food here is good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you plan to buy sweets or small bites, better come early (preferably before noon). Recommend you try the sesame balls, they are wonderful. I also liked the layered tapioca cakes (in plastic container), they are similar to the one we have in Thailand.
Absolutely delicious. We were in town to grab a camper, decided to stop here and the market across the street. I got a to go order to make it all the way back to Alamagordo. Food was phenomenal! Ate the Banh Mi (Chao Tom) in the car and saved the noodle bowl for when I got home. So delicious! If I lived in ABQ I would be here multiple times a week.
It's was delicious and very friendly.. We ordered the noddle bowls chicken and pork. And the spring rolls were delicious and fresh.
If you love Bahn Mi as much as I do this place is worth the trip. Delicious fresh baked French bread with many meat options plus tofu or egg if you don’t want meat. And of course all the toppings radish, carrots, jalapeño. I had the lemongrass chicken and it was amazing. These are big! All sandwiches are 12 inches and only $8.50! Great summer rolls and also a fried sesame ball that was amazing!! Highly recommend. Takeout only with a few tables outside.
Where do I even begin! This place is the best... best banh mi's, spring rolls, smoothies and other vietnamese yumminess! Located in the shopping center parking lot of the amazing Talin world market which is also a must visit. I always order the #6 at Coda which is the grilled pork banh mi sandwich and to make it even more over the top sometimes I add an order of fried eggs on top as well. This is the best vietnamese sandwiches in all of new mexico! You will have no regrets when you go here until you live and have to walk away from this amazing place!
Amazing food. This small place serves the best Vietnamese sandwiches ever. The site is always crowded at lunchtime, but the staff serves the food fast. The smoothies with boba are amazing.
I truly love this place! The only minor thing I’ll complain about is that they no longer have in-restaurant seating. Other than that, their Bánh mì is some of the best I’ve had anywhere in the states. Love it!
we always go here for sandwiches when in albuquerque~ the chicken and pork sandwich are so good! i just tried the roasted chicken in pastry with green chile and it's delicious :)
Had the grilled pork bahn mi and spring rolls. 10/10. Bread was perfect, ratio of meat to toppings. Would recommend!
Craving a proper Banh Mi? This is the place, with the lunch lines to prove it, but worth the wait.
I had the #6 with house-marinated pork and veggies on a perfectly fresh, chewy bun. Delicious!
Try the banh mi! Didn’t really enjoy the spring rolls but that’s just me cause i don’t take raw bean sprouts. The grilled chicken banh mi is awesome! At just $6.50 for a roll
Always great. I always ending ordering the #6 (grilled pork) but everything looks good. Vietnamese Iced Coffee is delicious.
EDIT: Just have to reiterate how great this place really is. When you pay for double meat and you get hooked up! Plus they are incredibly busy and always maintain consistency.
Expectations very much exceeded! Portions are bigger than expected and quality is impeccable. Also the only Vietnamese restaurant open before 10:00am if your like me and crave it for breakfast. Thank you Coda Bakery 👨🍳
Incredibly tasty Banh Mi at very affordable prices. Delicious smoothies and savory spring rolls compliment the sandwiches. A decidedly different eating experience compared with most other Asia restaurants. It's a tiny place that gets crowded very quickly during the lunch rush, but worth the wait in line.
I got there right when it opened at 9am, quickly chose a fresh, warm, meat-filled croissant-like pastry. Tasty and flakey, comfort food on the go.
I really don't understand why this place is highly rated.
I ordered a pork bánh mì with a sesame roll. It is decent for the price, but it is exactly that. Decent. Not great. Not at all remarkable. Just decent.
The bánh mì itself was packed with vegetables and had hardly any meat or mayo/sauce inside. There wasn't a whole lot of flavor as a result, and to top it all off, the roll was nothing more than grocery store quality. At least it was edible, healthy, satisfying, and relatively inexpensive. The fact that it was only a small $8.50 regret before tax is a plus.
The sesame roll was delicious, but I don't know if I'd get that regularly considering how greasy it was.
I got the lemongrass beef wrapped w grape leaves bahn mi and it was delicious! I have been to other bahn mi shops in DC and SF and coda offers sandwich options that I have not seen at other places! The lemongrass beef bahn mi is a new flavor for me and was worth trying! I also tried the spring rolls which are also offered with unique options. They allow you to mix and match the flavors as the rolls are sold in pairs.
Unfortunately, was closed upon arrival at 5:50pm. Menu looks legit and delicious. Can't say much about it. I'm sure the locals enjoy this place.
WoW I was impressed! I walked in an i noticed it modern style, Clean , dummy proof picture menu! That's what it's about! Fresh bread ingredients etc ! Going back and taking friends
I always make a stop here when I go to Ta Lin; part of the routine. All of their dishes are so fresh and their sweetened soy milk is amazing. I love getting their snacks, it hits the spot whenever I am craving something but don't know what. Excellent service as well. Everyone has always been nice when I come in.
Banh mi was okay and the banh cuon was delicious! Huge portions all around. Solid viet deli.
Never disappoints! I always get the spring rolls, very filling. Could eat here everyday.
Best bahn Mi in town! The buttered bread, the pickled vegetables, the meat and fresh cilantro come together to create an incredible sandwich. They also have great salads and the spring rolls with grilled pork are amazing. Can be very busy at lunch for a good reason!
the food was great, I never write on the review but this happen so many time and I feel so mad about it, order a super well done egg banh mi because I can't eat the egg rare or medium, they keep making rare I can't eat it
I love their food, I love their prices and I love that their local! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very laid-back and casual. They have vegan options if you want. And overall, their food is just delicious.
When you are away from the mainstream every once and a while you stumble upon a jewel. Coda is such a place. The spring roles are a masterpiece waiting to be discovered and its sandwiches transport you to a world few experience. Curious how some food establishment charge twice the price and deliver half the quality at best. In plain simple speak the value is incalculable and at twice the price would still outshine anything within hundreds of mile. Treat yourself to a culinary experience you will not forget and talk about for years.
Best Vietnamese food in Abq. Their sesame balls are phenomenal.
By far the best sandwiches in town. My co-worker had me try the number 6 and it was SOOOO good!!! Definitely the best spot in town!
Love there Banh mi, they are so good. I always get the lemongrass beef. Also when they have them get the green chile chicken turnover. Yummy.
Just INSANE FOOD!!!!!! If you haven't tried this place then you need to reassess your life!!! Amazing food!
Beef lemongrass Banh mi was excellent although next time we would probably add extra meat - seemed like there wasn’t enough meat to bread ratio. Grilled pork noodle bowl was great! Avocado smoothie and fresh limeade were both fantastic. Shrimp spring rolls were underwhelming, it’s the only thing we tried that we will not order again. All in all, super happy with the experience. We’ll definitely be back…often.
Very good authentic sandwiches! Fresh veggies and good grilled meat with a nice sauce on it.
Simply the best Bahn Mi in town. Their noodle bowls are also amazing.
Love this place. Super duper awesome Banh Mi sandwiches. One of the best I’ve had. I always visit when I’m in ABQ. The fried tofu and sesame balls are also delicious.
Yoo this place is actually so good I heard a lot of good things is my first time trying it blown away seriously and their desserts are so good!
Food is good. But they won't sell you the baguettes past 5. They were on the shelf. I don't understand why you don't sell those so close to closing.
Great place for Vietnamese style sandwiches. Always have good experience. I placed large order ahead and came to pick up. Reasonable price, friendly customer service.
Good banmi. From Seattle where we get great stuff. Super solid
Great sandwiches, noodles bowls and smoothies, one of our favorite restaurants in town!
There is no option to dine inside. There are a few tables outside, but otherwise it’s takeaway. The pork banh mi #6 had great flavor. The egg banh mi #11 was bland, but the baguette was wonderful.
All the food here is incredible. The sandwiches are consistently delicious. I always have to get some spring rolls because they’re also delightful. The iced coffee is good. The desserts are unique and great. I highly recommend it.
If you haven't been here for some food- you're definitely missing out. Try their sandwiches out. Very tasty. Their noodle dishes with either chicken, pork or beef should be a must try.
It can get very busy during the lunch hour but still worth the wait which is not too long.
It’s our go to place for vegetarian lunch. They have a nice custom made tofu sandwich and bowl. I would recommend to try. It’s a healthy grab and go food place. I didn’t like the green chille puff. It had lots of oil which over powered the taste of the stuffing. But all the food in the menu is worth trying.
Love, LOVE, LOVE!! THIS PLACE!!! Great prices, fast service, tasty food👏👏 …
Fab 12" BANH MI Vietnamese sandwiches made fresh for $6.50 - in 2018 {2021: $6.95}; {Nov '21- $7.50} - Grilled Pork or Shrimp Sausage are faves. If you don't want bread, get a Salad Bowl {$6.95}or Noodle Bowl {$8.95 in 2021} - or the long Fresh Spring Rolls at 2 for less than $5. Generous portions at very low prices.
Everything's made FRESH on location: Vietnamese baguette breads baked fresh daily, TOFU {95¢ for a house-made block of fried tofu - made with red chile, lemongrass or green onion in it } , sesame balls {85¢ - fried crisp exterior}, etc. The meatball in puff pastry is delicious. There are Coconut Waffles flavored with pandan, many smoothies {like Avocado, Durian}, Viet coffees and teas.
Clean interior with nice employees.
2021: Indoor seating will be available after Covid is under control. There are 3 outdoor tables.
Lemongrass beef noodle bowl, pork pastry, house made fried tofu all fresh, all excellent! The iced coffee was amazing fuel as well. Highly recommend.
Menu is a little tough to read but, the food we got was Excellent!
I love the sandwiches here. They make this green jelly thing too that's so good. I'm not sure exactly what it is but it's really good. The shakes are good too, coconut is my favorite one. The white bean sesame balls are the best here, always taste fresh. The price is reasonable and its quick as hell for something very authentic. Love love love
Love this place so much. The food is so fresh. Housemade tofu, Vietnamese pastries and the Bahn Mi's are so killer. There is always good service here. We called in an order for 2 baguettes at 3pm a few months back, and when we picked up, our bread seemed like it had been specially made, a fresh order just for us! We were not expecting that! It was amazing! We got a ton of pastries this morning, and some baguettes for some sandwiches later. so so so good!
Loved it! Vietnamese bakery. Tasted good.
This is without a doubt one of the finest bakeries/sandwich shops I've ever been to. The rum raisin filled sweet roll makes a meal by itself. Add to that fabulous bhan mi, and some of the best spring rolls in town and you can't go wrong. I highly recommend popping in for a to go order. For the same price or less than a typical fast food combo meal, treat yourself to something spectacular. I would have posted a photo, but I was too busy eating lunch.
Absolutely delicious Vietnamese food. I usually stick with the pork bahn mi sandwich, which is delicious, the tofu spring rolls, and a sesame ball. I do not recommend ordering this much food necessarily for one person, but all of those are consistently good here. Great for call-in order for a quick lunch.
Love everything, I frequent at least once per week. #9 sandwich is my favorite. I have almost tried everything and have been happy with everything. Avocado smoothie is fantastic. If you never tried one you absolutely should. The waffle is not on the menu, but that is another must! It is green and has bits of coconut.
Been coming here for a while now and I've only ever had good experiences. The staff do their best during rush hour and they are always friendly. The food is consistent and delicious! My favorites are the #22 spring roll and the Thai tea w/ boba. Highly recommend. <3
Best sandwiches in town and great service!
Fantastic vietnamese food! Generous portions, so fresh and it was very easy to order online and go pick it up. it was a couple minutes wait when I got there, but that just proves it's good and popular. The sesame balls were huge! Very pleased, will totally come come back.
Delicious food! The chicken and green chili pastry is wonderful and the sesame balls are a great treat at the end. The avacado shake is yummy! Wonderfully seasoned and always fresh. Our favorite local place to eat and we're so glad we found this place. Clean, fast, friendly
I love this place and wish it was closer. I miss having access to casual Vietnamese food back in Seattle and I have to go all the way to Abq to get it now, but this is worth the trip. I just plan it out and do my shopping at Talin Market and eat here after. Love the savory pastries and fresh noodle bowls and iced coffee. Delicious.
If ya'll ever come out to Albs, you gotta get yourself some food from here. Everything is so good, lite, fresh and full of flavor. The Bhan Mi is awesome, the noodle bowls are so good, and the smoothies are just right.
The sandwiches here are delicious. Always on a fresh French bread and other freshly made Vietnamese baked goods. My favorite would be #6 with extra jalapeños and a green waffle. Everything is made fresh, you'll love it!!
Best Vietnamese tofu sandwich! I didn't think I could eat the entire sandwich, but it was so yummy I couldn't put it down! The waffle was also a surprising treat!
My bread wasn’t hot, i dont think the staff grilled my breads. Restroom run out of soap.
Reminds me of the place I used to go to back home in MA. I LOVE the Egg Banh Mi and it was also my go tos at the old spot I used to buy my sandwiches from before my move. Not to mention the sandwich itself is bigger than any shop I've been to. Keep it up, tip these people well. Its worth what you're getting. I always try to tip $5-8.
they have tasty noodle bowls and spring rolls. very fast service and quite a reasonable price. it was only take out when I was there, although I saw that they did have tables and chairs stacked up in the corner.
I know this is just another of hundreds of super good reviews but. Seriously, this restaurant is special.
Their banh mi are freaking delicious, the shrimp sausage is like the richest, most delicious shrimp you can think of *but in every single bite.* There are meatballs in puff pastry that are legitimately so good that I think about them sometimes, fondly. Just because they are so flavorful and satisfying.
I've got a damn crush on their food
This place is the definition of a little slice of heaven. Nothing and I mean NOTHING is as comforting as their homemade banh cam (big sesame balls). The Thai tea is to die for and worth every penny, I only wish they had a larger size. Their ingredients are always extremely fresh and I have never been disappointed. It’s the best Vietnamese food in Albuquerque and I will forever find solace in their food. 🧡
Absolutely amazing coffee! We will definitely be back for more. Generous portions for their prices. Clean, fast & friendly service.
Everything is delicious! I have yet to order something that was just ok. This is my go to sandwich shop, though they have more to offer
You'll find this gem in the Talon Market parking lot. This bakery makes great sandwiches and their fresh lemonade pairs wonderfully. I recommend calling your order in after you know the menu.
Love this place. Great food at great prices!
I loved it, it was something new for me and my family. Very clean the people were nice. And it was busy, which means it was GOOD! Loved the sandwiches sandwiches the spring rolls were on point. Great prices, summer food here I come.
Great place to grab food and go. My occasional indulgence is #11, three over-easy eggs in a sandwich roll. Everything is freshly made her. It is best to eat the spring rolls right then and there ( they have a few tables). Haven't tried their new additions: noodle bowls and salad bowls, but they sound yummy.
The sandwiches here are among the best I've ever had at a Vietnamese restaurant. I haven't tried the noodle bowls, but they smell amazing. The variety of desserts and baked goods can be a bit confusing because nothing is labeled, but they all taste great, so just point at something and give it a try.
We read about this restaurant in the newspaper and had to try it! We each ordered a different sandwich so we could share. Since they are 12 inches, that is easy to do. The beef with lemongrass was amazing! They serve the biggest spring rolls we have ever seen in a restaurant. Prices are very affordable.
everything i’ve eaten/drank here has been on point delicious! fresh baked bahn mi bread, in house tofu, spring rolls, bubble tea. Hands down the best go to for real Vietnamese bakery on abq
This place is super tasty. It's a bit pricey for a sandwich shop, but the flavor is worth it. I highly recommend their shrimp sandwich. It's more than excellent. They get busy around lunch though, so do yourself a favor and call your order in to avoid waiting.
They have expanded and remodeled their establishment. Customer service is great and always made fresh to order. I always get the lemon grass beef sandwich with their pickled carrots, cabbage, cilantro, cucumber, and sriracha mayo in a fresh baked baguette. They have amazing spring rolls with peanut sauce which I recommend asking for another because it is that good! Also, the sesame balls with sweet bean inside is a must. I was spectacle at first but it is a place you will fall in love!
One of my go-to places in Albuquerque - absolutely wonderful food, and very accommodating of vegans and vegetarians. They have hands down the best tofu I've ever had - they literally make it (along with fresh soy milk) every day. The banh mi are delicious, but I heavily recommend the noodle bowls! They also gave great Thai tea and coffee, which you can have made with their fresh soy milk.
If you need your order quick, call about fifteen minutes ahead and order - your food will be ready and waiting for you! They're also great for picking up fresh baguettes, other baked goods, and you can buy their soy milk by the 1/2 gallon.
Finally. Amazing Vietnamese staples. Spring rolls are all great but the fried tofu SR are to die for. FLAVOR. Best grilled pork and grilled chicken banh mi I've had outside of NY. Thai Tea was refreshing, sweet and slightly bitter...Just right.
Coda deserves every 5-star review it's earned. Some of, if not the best food in Albuquerque. Definitely the best Bahn Mi I've ever had anywhere. Highly recommend!
People still take pride in providing tasty things! Enter Coda and experience the difference.
I ordered a pork sandwich, pork shrimp roll, sesame boll and a chicken paye chaud (puff pastry with chicken meat inside) and the total was $20. Every thing was tasty. Its a takeout only place.
This place is happening. Excellent food. Lots of tofu options with all dishes. The fried tofu is tasty. Fresh and flavorful tofu spring rolls, with peanut sauce. Expect it to be busy and a little crazy but worth it.
This place is AMAZING. The house made tofu and grilled pork are my personal favorites. You can't go wrong ordering anything with those. The spring rolls are huge and can be a meal on their own. We always get a coconut waffle for dessert, it's soooooo yummy. It can get a little crowded during the lunch rush, and they make everything to order so don't expect to get in and out quickly, but the wait is no longer than a sit down restaurant and totally worth it. My kids love this place.
The food is so excellent! Lemongrass beef and shredded pork skin bahn mi are the perfect levels of spicy and savory. Bread is delicious and fresh... I loved everything I ate. What a gem! Not to mention how kind all the staff were in the middle of a lunch rush.
The sandwiches are very good and the tofu spring rolls were extremely fresh. Prices are fantastic for how big the portions are.
I love Coda Bakery! I’ve been coming here for years and they have great food at great prices. Some of my favorites are the sandwiches and spring rolls but I also love their smoothies (the avocado and coconut are my favorites). I would easily recommend this place to anyone who enjoy Vietnamese food.
Just came here twice while my visit in new Mexico. The vietnamese cooks are super nice. Made me feel like home
The food is wonderful the employees are even better i've never received better service at a restaurant with covid running rampant. Ollie took my order and was very kind and efficient with his work. Even asked for a recommendation and he was happy to give me some amazing recommendations. Accidentally received the wrong sandwich and Denise helped me right away to get the right meal, was so kind. I've never been treated so well by cashiers in my life and i'll be coming back here more often!! If you can ask for Ollie or Denise do so!! The other ones were just standing around doing nothing.
Love this place. Pork spring rolls are to die for. Even if you don't like tofu I recommend ordering their house made chive tofu and eating it with a mix of soy sauce, pepper and sriracha. Its super cheap and you won't regret it... if you do, bring it to me!
Cheaper and better than most restaurants in ABQ. Put those savings toward a Lychee smoothie with Boba and leave a happy person every time, guaranteed
Lost in space. That's how this place is. They will gladly take your order and happily take your money, but after that check your order for accuracy. They always mess up when giving you your order. They seem nice and friendly and the food items look good and delicious, they just need a crash course in customer satisfaction and accuracy.
My grandsons favorite place to get Spring Rolls , the Peanut Sauce is the best in the city, but the Spring rolls are amazingly good! One of our favorite places for take out.
The sandwiches are divine and the array of other treats is high quality and impressive. The service is always prompt and polite. This is my go-to place when someone comes from out of town and wants me to take them "somewhere good" and never fails to impress
Highly recommend taking their awesome food on a picnic, it wraps up quickly, easily, and well and is so, so good.
If you like Vietnamese food then I highly recommend giving them a try. I absolutely love their sandwiches and spring rolls. The handful of specialty drinks I've tried, have also been delicious. They also seem to have extended their hours recently which is wonderful!
This place is amazing and affordable! Their spring rolls are almost a foot long with about 5 shrimp each and you get 2 of them for about $5. Their noodle bowls are huge and fulfilling. Wait time is a little long and it's totally worth it!
Tried it when it first opened, Forgot about it after. Have to try their sandwiches and that Vietnamese coffee - hot. Had the 6inch baguette with grilled tuna. Very different from the 'eat fresh' sandwiches I've had. Tuna grilled with a light and sweet barbecue sauce with different vegetables. It's was altogether different! Also had the chicken pie there, as apposed to taking it home and re heating it. Fresh is fresh.
Truthfully, I have only been here once but my experience was so enjoyable I think it deserves 5 stars. First off, the food is excellent, and if everything on the menu is like the sandwich I had(and it sounds like it is), then you have to go. The decor is nice, it's very modern and sleek which I like, and the prices are amazing!! Like $6 (w/ tax) for a fresh made 12", delicious sandwich! Not to mention the woman behind the counter was so nice and incredibly good humored and really put my experience there great. I felt at ease even though it was my first time there. All in all, delicious (and for most people) new and different flavors at a great price with great counter staff, what more could you ask for?
Excellent bakery, sandwiches, and cold noodles. The chicken and green chile pastry was the most surprisingly delicious food I have had in a long time. Will be visiting again. Highly recommended!
We went after the lunch hour so it wasn’t too crazy busy & we went in for one reason only. My mother in law gave us a bag of some crunchy pieces of toasted bread that were sweet & buttery so she told us where to go and now we go at least once a week to buy these. We give them away to family and friends as well. Everyone loves them because they taste AMAZING!!! Don’t leave without buying them. They are at the entrance next to the chips. 👌🏻
I love this place!! The Bahn mi are all delicious, my personal favorites is the grilled pork, and the bakery goods are fresh and delicious!! There is guaranteed to be a line any time near noon, but they move through surprisingly quickly. So friendly and courteous! This is a can't miss place!
So, there used to be a different place in this same spot or one over that seems to be derelict now. Either way, the sandwiches are completely incredible. My favorite are their warm, folded, flaky ones with rotisserie chicken and this creamy green chilie sauce. It's the perfect amount of spice and richness but get there several hours before they close or they'll already be completely out.
I've been missing viet comfort food for a while now and this spot really hit the spot! The bang mi thit nuong (grilled pork) was filling and delicious. I also got one of their sesame seed balls and it's the best one I've ever had! Super crispy exterior and filled with plenty of mung bean paste. Definitely stopping here again if I'm ever in the area
If your not familiar with coda, you should be. Excellent place for a quick and amazing lunch or take out. Recently renovated with almost twice the size. My goto here are the spring rolls but everything here is just amazing and a great value, a full lunch can be had for under $6 quite easily.
I eat here nearly once a month. It is by far my favorite sandwich place in Alb. If you're looking for a regular ham on wheat, this is not the place. If you're looking for a mouth watering, simple but still achieving umami, bahn mi...this is your spot! They also have spring rolls, exceedingly delicious! Thai tea, Boba, smoothies (the lychee is my favorite) and soda. They also usually have sesame balls and desserts, just depends on how busy they got. Which they can fill up, very quickly. I always call ahead for my #6 and it's always been ready and waiting when I arrive. Don't miss this amazing restaurant!!! You won't be sorry!!!
LOVE the spring rolls! They are delicious and well priced. My friend and I have gone here the last couple years and have consistently been impressed. Even during their busy lunch hour they have good quality.
Out running errands today and anytime I'm in the vicinity of Coda Bakery,, I'll always make a stop.. Great Bahn mi, smoothies, and other Vietnamese deli dishes. I've yet to have anything bad from Coda. If you've never been, make the trip. I recommend the avocado smoothie, with Boba, and the Bahn MI of your choice. It's a great lunch.
I love everything I've tried at this restraunt. I love the spring rolls, especially the peanut sauce that goes with it. Love the tofu sandwich! Love their noodle bowls! Love their sesame balls! In other words I love this restaurant!
This little spot is EVERYTHING. The spot that I always recommend to people from out of town (and in town), the spot that I think about when I'm away...what a gem. The sesame balls are unique and wonderful. The portions of everything are generous. And prices are right. Everything is fresh, healthy, and made to order. Love it.
I love this place. It's one of those gems you find. I tend to eat here at least once a week. The chicken spring roll is delicious and the iced coffee is spectacular. Definitely a must try. DO IT!
all the sandwiches are fantastic such a nice refreshing sandwich unlike anything you'll get at most places in the city. The Salad isr also fantastic. It's great to support a nice family run business. Many of the staff have been there for several years and everyone is kind and helpful
I’m from Maryland and grew up on this food. Any place that has grape leaf wrapped beef is legit and authentic.
Great food with wide variety and good prices.
The most amazing Vietnamese sandwiches. I think they bake their own bread and it's just awesome. If you like this type of sandwich you must try it. Also their spring rolls are huge and very tasty.
All of their food is delicious, especially any of the sandwiches and spring rolls! Often times it is better to get your food to-go as the restaurant itself if fairly small on the inside and fills up quickly during a lunch rush, but there are also a couple tables outside.
Has a few excellent and fresh vegan options! Limeade is FRESH, food is not old...we are picky and this was real good. Service nice too!
We all liked our food. Being from another state we are visiting Albuquerque for the last time due to higher crime. While here this has been our second time trying Coda Bakery. I do recommend their cuisine. No indoor seating yet. Governor has all of NM scared and under her thumb. She's made it "The Land of Entrapment". Don't trust Biden/Harris Administration. They insult American's intelligence. They will take our freedom away and elites like them will keep theirs.
Their bánh mi sandwiches and bánh cuôn are simply delicious! You definitely need to phone in your order for bánh cuôn, because they get sold out by lunch! I also had their coda noodle bowl for the first time and it was also amazing. Their vietnamese iced coffee with boba as well as thai iced tea with boba were also amazing! I'm so glad I found this little spot to get my cravings satisfied. It's the only place I know of that serves bánh cuôn in the Albuquerque area. I was feeling homesick after moving from California and this place hits the spot all the time! Very friendly staff and its nice that you can call in and pick up. Service is both fast and friendly.
The pastries here are a well needed break from the South-Western style food that is predominant here in Albuquerque. The store is always well stocked with fresh Vietnamese treats. You will not be disappointed. Great for brunch. A little hidden but worth the trip.
My friend introduced me to this little gem and I have been hooked ever since! The marinated grilled pork (#6) is absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it. For dessert, the sesame seed balls are a great treat 😄 …
Bánh mì and savory pastries in the city! Also, amazing sesame balls!
Traditional and iced Vietnamese coffee is outlandishly good!
They also sell house-made tofu to-go... though I've never had it.
This is a traditional type asian deli that is mmuch loved by Albuquerque locals. It is in the international district and is surrounded by asian shops and restaurants. It is an excellent place to get asian snacks that are mostly made on site. Some items even make good sized meals like the noodle bowls.
One of the best places to eat in ABQ I recommend everybody who visits to try their food at least once. The secret green waffle is amazing and the steamed rice crepes is something in its own category of delicious. I eat here regularly and love giving my business!
Coda Bakery is one of my favorite go-to lunch stops when I'm at work. I love the spring rolls and salads. The Banh Mi sandwiches are awesome, too.
Amazing little hidden gem when my friend first showed me I was a little hesitant, but once I tried it I was hooked only 6 dollars for a great sandwich on a freshly made and tasty baguette. They also have an amazing selection of teas, smoothies, and coffee plus tons of other goodies they have eared a life long customer for sure.
This is more than a bakery...this is Banh Mi heaven. The bread is baked fresh daily. The vegetables are crispy and fresh. I love their desserts and specialty drinks and shakes.
They have expanded their seating, but don't expect to get a table during lunch rush unless you get there super early.
This is a Vietnamese sandwich shop, it has excellent food excellent meat filled pastries. They're very fast and cater to the lunch crowd.
I don't know what it's called but they have a Tapioca And coconut chunk dessert that is very very good.
I've tried out three of their sandwiches so far, and look forward to trying the rest of them , about 12
Coda Bakery is an excellent place to eat in my opinion. Bearing in mind that I do not have a ton of experience with Vietnamese food, I still feel that it is safe to say that they have fantastic food here. I found their spring rolls to be especially delectable and they are served with a very generous helping of peanut sauce. A++
Amazing food! Super reasonable prices and friendly and helpful staff. They are very helpful with explaining the menu and answering questions that I had regarding items I was unfamiliar with. Their sesame balls (pictured) are awesome!
Great Vietnamese sandwiches! The sandwiches are fresh and not not too heavy. The staff are friendly and you can tell they have A LOT of repeat business. Highly recommend trying this place out!
The best bahn mi sandwiches in town! The vegetables are always crisp and fresh in the sandwich and the meat is always tender and juicy. Love this place!
Onion tofu banh mi with extra jalapeno 👍👍 …
I specifically go there for the sesame balls!! MMMmmmm. I need to try the Pho next. Most folks go for Bahn Mi, (many ppl!!), but I am gluten challenged. Boo Hoo. Oh well. Best sesame balls on the planet.
We shared their #1 banh mi sandwich and an order of their #22 spring rolls. Everything tasted fresh, but little else or flavor. Bread was the biggest miss, not authentic bang me bread. It was flat and soft, not thin crispy crust with soft inside with great banh mi. It was just OK, but not memorable. Seating is small, dark, but clean. Self service with friendly service.
The food was wonderful and the service was great as well. Will definitely come back. I'm glad there's a place close by that we can get authentic tad ting Vietnamese food. Sorry didn't take any pics cuz we were too hungry and it was too tasty! Couldn't wait to get it in our bellies.
The best Sandwiches in town. The number 10 is my favorite. My kid loves the #6 with a Lychee smoothie. Oh yeah the smoothie are bops. So are the pastries.
I've tried other banh mi places in ABQ and this one has them all beat. I ove their banh mi sandwiches! I usually order 2 so I can have some for later. The jalapeños could be a little more spicy, but overall I recommend these sandwiches. They've expanded it so there's more indoor seating. Their spring rolls are really good as well.
Delicious! I just wish they had more seating. But I will not give them lower stars because the size of the place is small..... however, I recommend going during none peak hours so you can have a table to sit at. Obviously they are doing something right if it’s that crowded. Can’t wait to go back and try more!
I cannot believe I have never reviewed my favorite place in all of Albuquerque!
The only reason I don't eat here every day is that it's a 20+ mile drive from home. On the day of review, Raz & I stopped in to kill 45 minutes while waiting for some late-opening businesses for Sunday errands. Bahn Mi Coda has gone to a 24-7 schedule, so they are now perfect for whenever hunger strikes.
We decided to go for Spring Rolls, which are serious value, since you get x2 rolls about the length of my forearm for under $5. The flavors wrapped up in that handy rice noodle package are just awesome. Raz had #28: Grilled, Marinated Pork, while I had #22: Fresh Shrimp & Pork. Everything inside was super fresh, and the peanut sauce was wonderful. We split a rasin roll for dessert, which is a light, airy, slightly flaky pastry that's pretty much the love child of a sweet roll and a croissant.
My single favorite thing had already sold out for the day. They make this flaky, buttery turn-over stuffed with chicken & green chile. It's warm, filling, comforting, and decadent all at once. Of course being so good, it does sell out pretty quickly after hitting the counter, so you have to time your visit just right to get one. The Spring Rolls and Bahn Mi are made to order, so you can get a consistently amazing meal at any time.
Coda is the best! I am the manager of Academy Dental Care and I bought food for our team for a meeting. The Coda Bakery team was great and the food was delicious! Even though it was the lunch hour rush the staff was able to get my order quickly and they helped me walk the food out to my car. Their customer service is top notch, and their menu is amazing. I would recommend Coda because they are the best restaurant in town. Can't wait for next time to explore the rest of their menu!
Today was my first experience with Coda Bakery. This is such a hidden gem! The service was great and the food amazing! I tried their spring rolls and they are huge. Just perfect for a satisfying but light lunch. I will definietly be going back to try their sandwiches.
Best Vietnamese grilled chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Awesome fresh baked baguettes. Always busy so give yourself plenty of time or call your order in ahead.
This place was once a hidden gem of ABQ but people have since found it. Witch is good because they are one of the best sandwich shops and bakeries in town. The favors and authenticity of the food is wonderful. To-go is a great option here soncenyou order at the counter but I like eating on the simple patio outfront.
Great selection try the shrimp & pork sausage if you like those things.
Ordered the noodle bowl with chicken. It was quite good and I shared with 3 other people. I'd recommend calling in order as space is tight and it was a little bit of a wait. Nice, friendly staff. Easy to access location.
Absolutely love Coda Bakery! The Bahn Mi's are the bomb! I enjoy the grilled pork and the tuna options but they all are good! The spring rolls are huge plus you get 2 per order, MY FAV lunch spot
One of my favorite places to go in NM. They have the best Vietnamese iced coffee, breads, flan, sticky rice items, baked pastries, sandwiches and spring rolls. I haven't tried anything I don't like there and I'm addicted to the green coconut bread made from tapioca flour and the version they stream.
One of my regular lunch places. Best Vietnamese sandwiches in town.
This Vietnamese bakery and restaurant is one of the best in Albuquerque. They have a huge selection of fresh baked goods to pick from. My go-to order is usually a grilled pork banh mi sandwich, an iced vietnamese coffee which uses sweetened condensed milk, and an assortment of sesame balls and baked treats. Super affordable and quick with plenty of vegetarian options.
Delicious and authentic Vietnamese sandwiches and desserts. The bread isn't too thick like some other delis. The combination of meat and vegetables is perfect and not overwhelming in regards to taste.
I love Coda Bakery! This is a tiny, but very nice little joint in an otherwise rough part of town. La migra is always at the market across the parking lot, so watch out for them. The food here is amazing, all the bahn mi options, fried tofu, sesame balls, honeycomb cake, and avocado and coconut smoothies are my personal favorites. Watch out, they can get packed at lunch time.
I go here a few times a month and the food is always fantastic and the staff is very friendly. Bahn Mi Coda is my favorite place to get a Bahn Mi in Albuquerque. They also have a great Thai Tea recipe that would wake anyone up!
Great sandwiches- love the flavor; the coffees are good; and adore the green chili chicken turnover, the meatball turnover and the raisin croissant- lost a star for not having real utensils -
This is one of the few eateries I'll go out of my way for in Albuquerque- nothing else compares. Period. I crave their banh mi cha lua constantly and I'm tempted to order two every time I go. The employees are always friendly, the prices are right, and they even have che!
If you like Bahn Mi this is the place. The bread is amazing, everything iis made in house. Only thing missing is bottles of Sriracha
Menu is easy to read for non Vietnamese speakers. Lunch specials are good, and food is tasty. Gets a bit busy around lunchtime so grab a seat early.
Holy cow! The Vietnamese baguettes are awesome. The Banh mi's are incredible. If you don't want Banh mi you can still get a double loaf of baguettes to take home under $4
I've been eating here for years....today was my first time to order online and pick up...the site is super easy to navigate and the food is as always AMAZING!!! Thank you for providing the tastiest subs/spring rolls/boba
Great banh mi. Some of the best banh mi I have eaten. Their #1 reminds me of home. Great spring rolls and desserts as well. Can't beat the price and the flavor here.
Coda bakery has amazing flavor in their sandwiches and spring rolls. The food come out fast and fresh and is also fairly priced. Definitely a great spot for a great meal
Food was terrific (banh mi & shrimp spring rolls) & reasonably priced. Staff was friendly & explained the menu w/lots of patience & good humor. Good parking. Only down side was that it could be cleaner.
My favorite Vietnamese place for quick spring rolls and sandwiches. The home made Tofu is great! I only wish they were open a bit later at night
It’s a very nice little place, their tofu banh mi is my favorite, they also have a lovely avocado smoothie that’s really good, even though it sounds like it would be weird.
Hands down one of our favorite spots in town. We always order sandwiches, as well as a couple of bakery items to take home. Their expansion has also made it easier to find a place to sit. Even when the seats are full, the food is good enough to eat in our car if needed.
One of my favorite spots to get lunch. Delicious and affordable. Amazing sandwiches, bread and sweets, tasty tofu. Go for it! You will not be dissatisfied 💜 …
Definitely check out Coda if you've not been. My regular is the #10. I also buy the fried tofu as it's affordable and done right. The waffle is a tasty treat.
Coda bakery is one of the best places to eat in the city. You can’t go wrong with their made in house tofu, pastries, or Banh Mi. They’re always quick, but prepare to wait in line to order.
Grab a quick banh mi or spring rolls here. Fantastic flavor and done quick. Not a big location, so more of a quick cafe or carryout. Drinks are good.
Banh mi with pork or spring rolls with shrimp and pork were particularly fantastic.
Best banh mi I've had outside of Vietnam and California! My favorites are the pork and beef lemongrass. Viet coffee was just so-so, but they do justice to the Thai tea, pandan waffles and durian smoothies.
Great sandwich shop. Their french bread is to die for. The sandwiches are inexpensive for their size. More than once I've had half of one for lunch and the other half for dinner.
Excellent grilled pork sandwiches and chicken spring rolls. Love their baguettes, so much more to try. Good portions and prices.
I walked in and my mouth immediately began to water. I had the #6 Marinated Grilled Pork sandwich and it was amazing. I immediately began telling friends and random strangers all about the Coda Bakery. Oh, and the service was friendly and timely, and the eating area was clean with tables cleared and cleaned quickly.
Best banh mi sandwich we've ever had and the spring rolls were huge and second only to Green Leaf in Seattle, WA. Highly impressed. All for 11.00!!!
What's not to love about a footlong banh mi? Their bread is soft, and jalapeño always has a kick. Ive driven 3 hours one way for these sandwiches. Their new noodle bowls are amazing too. Can't go wrong with any of their menu items. A must try for any locals in ABQ.
I enjoyed lemongrass tofu and onion tofu banh mi today. (Lemongrass & onion tofu are available Th.-Su.) I added extra jalapenos for no charge.
Instead of Dr. Pepper, which I can get anywhere, I had a can of Lychee Nectar. There was no Grass Jelly drink in the cooler.
Due to the Pandemic there is Patio Dining only.
The name of the place is Bahn Mi Coda. Very good to excellent vietnamese place. We have visited many times. My favorite is the #5, marinated pork sandwich The soursop shake and other shakes are fantastic. The desserts, typical of the vietnamese, are very very good. It is on the South end of Talin Market's parking lot. It is a small place. I guess that it has room for 20 seated persons, tops.
Best sandwiches and spring rolls in town. I've heard their pastries are amazing too! Prices are pretty darn good.
Omg. Coda bakery is amazing! Their lemon grass beef banh mi is absolutely to die for! I also love buying their freshly baked baguettes. I LOVE the sesame balls and Vietnamese iced coffee. Also the green chile chicken pasty is delicious AND the prices are fair. I highly recommend this place.
Amazing Vietnamese food. I live in Houston and every time I visit my parent in New Mexico, I always eat at Coda. In my opinion, the food here is better than the Vietnamese food found in Houston. Keep up the great quality!
If your looking for delicious Banh Mi sandwiches, this is a place you have to stop and try. There are other goodies other than sandwiches to try too. Coda Bakery gets pretty busy, so be prepared to stand in line.
Best bahn mi I've ever had. The bread was so delicious.
This place...
One of the things I will miss about ABQ. Delicious Vietnamese sandwiches and now they have equally good salads and noodle bowls. But you gotta get the waffle too.
The food is quick and delicious. They have this green chile, chicken, and cheese turnover that's like a walking no-fuss enchilada. My favorites are the sesame balls filled with bean paste though.
If you are brave enough, they even offer a durian smoothie. :D
Banh Mi!!! So amazing, several options try them all. Also the spicy tuna is kinda hard to find on the menu but worth trying! The bubble teas and shakes are really refreshing.
Coda Bakery is currently my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Albuquerque. They sell some really great food that always hits the spot. They cook all their bread in house, so their bánh mì are always super fresh. The vegetables they use are always at the peak of freshness as well. It's totally worth a 20 minute drive across town.
This place is more of a sandwich & noodle restaurant, but they do have a selection of baked goods & waffles available.
Quality was good. It seemed like a popular place & it was recommended by a friend.
I have tried others, very few can make Banh Mi as good as Coda Bakery, it doesn't even matter which one you order, all will melt your tastebuds into divine bliss. Fresh vegetables (like they were picked from a garden) the meat was amazingly seasoned, butchered with no gristle...Wow. I ordered #6 Banh Mi Thit Nuong (grilled pork - house favorite) and #10 Banh Mi Bo La Lot (beef lemongrass - impressively tasteful) to wash it down I had the freshest Banh Cam Sesame Ball...yummy. Coda Bakery is Epic choice for food, reminds me of fine dining at super affordable cafe prices.
A friend recommended Coda Bakery for lunch and I am so happy she did! So delicious! Thanks to all who work there, I will he bringing my husband by to fall in love with the food as well!
Love this place. The food is amazing!
LOVE the pork with double meat. Now that I'm eating cleaner I don't like that they microwave the meats but if that doesn't bother you this place is great. Try a shake and green waffle also.
Delicious, inventive sandwiches that take the best meat and seasoning treatment of Vietnamese noodle and rice bowls and put them on a submarine sandwich. The bread is delicious, too. I only wish the sandwiches were bigger! Friendly staff. No frills.
Wow, the best sandwich in Albuquerque. The #4, and #6 are my go too items. As well as the smoothies. Ask for boa bo in the smoothies for a additional taste and texture.
What can I say. This place is grubbin'! The bahn mi sandwiches are what you'd expect and want from a bahn mi. The pastry is perfect. They've got a rotisserie chicken and green chile cream turnover that'll keep you coming back. Too bad I gotta drive 27 miles thru the city to get some of this goodness but it's worth it.
This is one of my favorite places in Albuquerque! The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The food is consistently delisiou s. I especially like the sesame seed balls.
They make the bread in house and it its the best French baguette in Abq! Sandwiches with lightly pickled veg, various Viet desserts and smoothies also homemade tofu fried.
Hands down one of the best places to eat in town. If you haven't been here, you're making a horrible mistake. I think I've had all but a couple of the sandwiches and I haven't found one I didn't love.
Everyone one of my friend who is Vietnamese said this place is THE BEST place and it was! Freshly made spring rolls and Banh Mi when you order. I wish they made Pho though.
Mi favorite place for bahn mi. I've never had anything here that wasn't amazing. By far, this is the best Vietnamese bakery in the Albuquerque metropolitan area.
Such a great place and yet only locals know about it. I recommend the #6 Bahn Mi. Excellent food and quick service. The building is small and the crowd is large so be prepared for that. Large xeouds are always a great sign of great food!
My first time trying this place and was delicious!! Got the lemongrass beef, the coconut drink, coconut waffle and the round seed treats lol ( forgot the name). Was yummy!!
Amazing food! Fresh ingredients and very delicious. They do get very busy at lunch and the wait can be long but it's so worth it. Staff is also friendly.
Love, love ,love Coda bakery. Many amazing options all good. I particularly love their tofu which says a lot as I am not vegetarian.
The banh cuon & banh mi dac biet had good portions and taste, not as many snacks as before (prob bc it was Monday), no more tables inside to sit down and eat (COVID-19).
My favorite vietnamese restaurant in Albuquerque. The sandwiches and noodle bowls are excellent. I definitely recommend it.
Delicious Vietnamese sandwiches, wraps, homemade tofu! Wonderful drinks. Don't miss the lemongrass tofu. In-house made soy milk!
If my daughter were to be asked what she wanted for her "last" meal, she would want to eat the #4 here with a Boba Tea. Remember to tell them you do NOT want Jalapeno's on it. Loads of celantro and yummies! Their sesame balls are out of this world! I love their tofu spicy lemon grass.
Was introduced to this shop a few years ago and make sure I come back for lunch at least once a month since. Tried every sandwich but must always have the spicy lemongrass tofu.
I been coming here for years. Every single time I come I leave very satisfied no matter if I order a springroll or sandwich the entire menu is delicious, I've tried several peanut sauce this place has the BEST
Really good vegan options.
Love the sesame balls. Salad was so-so. This place is bigger and better these days. Nice to see a successful enterorise! Most people ordering Bahn Mi.
This place is busy for a reason. Another international district gem.
The price is great and as a New Mexico native I can confidently say Coda Bakery is by far my favorite restaurant in all of New Mexico. The price, customer service, and food are always amazing.
Coda Bakery is one of our favorites. We always get the grilled pork banh mi, and it has never failed to disappoint us.
Amazing Vietnamese food. Bread baked daily, fresh ingredients made to order. Favorites include banh mi, spring rolls, and smoothies!
Strawberry smoothie is really good!
Been eating here for over 10 years. Food is consistently delicious and fresh. Prompt service even when they're busy.
Great Vietnamese sandwiches and other Vietnamese food. Enough variety to satisfy both the cautious and the adventurous. Consistently great quality and fast service.
Delicious modern twist on traditional Vietnamese banh mi and spring rolls. Always delicious, always fresh. Highly recommended!
Very good sandwiches! If you want a unique type of sandwich that you can't find a lot of places, definitely give this spot a try. Really tasty!
Everything is delicious. The bread is made in-house. The sandwiches are to die for. The savory is balanced by light, crisp veggies and all complemented by chewy fresh bread. A great choice for a light but filling lunch.
Awesome Vietnamese sandwiches. Authentic asian pastries, noodle bowls, salad bowls, coffee, desserts... Phone in an order and save some time.
An excellent bakery. They do pastry, sweet rice, and tofu milk, but the name of the restaurant tells it all: Banh Mi. "Do one thing and do it well." This is the best Banh Mi shop in town, hands down.
A hidden gem surrounded by some of the better Vietnamese restaurants in town, Banh Mi Coda is not to be overlooked! Their signature Banh Mi sandwiches are made with baguettes from their own bakery and are a treat in themselves, but when coming here be adventurous! Sesame balls, sponge cake, rice cakes, and even an off-menu pandan waffle make their dessert lineup a treat.
Must try for Vietnamese subs! The best in the ABQ area. Highly recommended. If it's your first time, try #1 sub. It's the most popular and most traditional Vietnamese sub.
I love this place- so fresh- great sandwiches and spring rolls- awesome drinks- nice staff- great food- something different if that's what your looking for- I always am- they make their own soy milk as well
Fantastic bahn mi! The fried tofu is our always-order and we've been working our way around the rest of the options without any upset!
This is one the best banh mi places I've ever been to. Must-try if you are in town. There's usually a line, but service is fast. Don't expect to find a place to sit though.
My favorite sandwich shop ever. Delicious, well rounded menu with more than reasonable prices. Honestly, they should franchise the place because it belongs everywhere
This was my first time having Banh Mi, and they take the idea of sandwiches to a whole new level!
The pork meatball banh mi are stellar, when I had finished it I wished there was more!
Best Bahn Mi I've EVER had, and I've tried A LOT of different places! The coconut boba and the fried sesame balls are great too!
This place has the best bahn mi I recomend the number 7, also the puff pastries with the meatball is really delicious.
Grilled pork Bahn Mi is awesome. Tons of fun treats. Try everything.
The best banh mi in Albuquerque
I love this place- super low key- everything here is awesome- super official vietnamese- sandwiches-spring rolls- smoothies and more. They make their own Soy Milk- I must try- one of Albuquerques best kept secrets
AMAZING food. Tons of vegan choices. Busy place, expect to wait. Nice serving size and reasonable prices. Customer sevice. 10 stars!
It was my first time ever going here and I loved it the minute you walk in it's super cozy and clean and the ladies working there are on it. Food amazing! Definitely 5 star!
1st time here. Ordered the Beef wrapped in grape leaves meal & it was better than I expected! I'm definitly heading back real soon.
My favorite bakery in abq. Always super nice and helpful. The only place i like boba from! Their sandwiches and spring rolls are amazing!
Delicious! Wonderful staff! Snotty customers who don't know what social distancing is. I definitely recommend ordering ahead.
I stop for lunch here Everytime I am in Albuquerque. The tuna sandwich is the best, the avocado smoothie and sesame ball as well
Crazy good sandwiches and spring rolls. Large portions, low prices. Great Vietnamese iced coffee
Everything we ate was really good. We were a big group so we tried a lot of things. The coconut smoothie with boba was yummy!
Some of the best Bahn Mi's I've ever had
The #1 and #4 sandwiches are a must! They can be very busy with limited seating for lunch, but you can call ahead for a quicker order.
Absolutely delicious, cute atmosphere. I recommend to anyone - limited seating however, so you may not want to go with big groups.
Absolutely delicious!
Had the tofu sandwich and tasted a pastry. I have to say it was excellent. I understand now why the place is packed for lunch.
The best banh mi I have found in the state of New Mexico. Straight up freaking awesome! The #9!
Love their banh mi sandwiches! Popular at lunchtime but worth the wait.
This is about as good as it gets. My favorites are the grilled pork banh mi, the spring rolls, and all the pastries.
Tasty Food. Takes way too long. Waited for 20 minutes for single sand which. Just remember to lock your car, this area has a lot of "door checkers" and vandalism, and petty theft.
Delicious sesame buns :D Friend brought them over to our DnD session one day and my bf and I fell in love woth the taste.
Always enjoy #6 pulled pork and coconut drink Bagettea always fresh. Have eaten here many times.
Nom nom nom! They don't have a huge menu, but what they have they do well. Try the tuna sandwich if you're looking for something a little different (out takes a little longer than anything else, but it's worth the we wait).
They expanded the room so.oys not crowded anymore! 10/10 food as usual, and affordable! My favorite is the sesame seed balls
"Coda Bakery is addicting!! Always fresh, hot Delicious! They have expanded, but still not big enough for all the people waiting for that first bite of Deliciously satisfying food. They need a bigger place!
I forgot my card and they were so patient and sweet. I went back to get it and the service was still great 👍 😊 smoothie is delicious too …
Best Bahn Mi I've ever had .... and everything else is yummy too (call in your order if you can, this place gets busy and calling ahead will get you to the front if the line)

"All of humankind has one thing in common: the sandwich. I believe that all anyone really wants in this life is to sit in peace and eat a sandwich." If you agree with Liz Lemmon on this, GO TO CODA BAKERY. SO YUM.
New to the banh mi coda world but this place is great. They make everything made to order and are super nice. The food is excellent!!!
The Bahn Mi is great, especially number 6. I usually get two because they are so small, or get one of the sesame balls for dessert.

Food is fantastic! But do we have to always hear loud music? And radio with
