I came in for a glass repair and jimmy and his team was so polite kind caring and even offered me lunch while I waited for my car to be service it’s so hard to find a genuine and honest, NO BS, repair shop in the bronx and I must say hunt point auto is definitely a place I feel I can trust I recommend you stop by especially if you’ve been having issues finding a trusted and professional repair shop. Clean, friendly, and most of all HONEST thank you for your help I still have some work that needs to be done with my truck so we cross paths again soon!!! 🙏🏾💪🏾

Had my daughters smart fortwo towed to Hunts Point Auto when her starter failed. Freddie was very transparent, quick to return calls, quick to service the vehicle and get it right the first time. He even spent a ton of time negotiating with the warranty company to make sure we got the best deal we could and ensure they used OEM parts.It's hard to find a good & honest service company but I think I've found one and I'm ticking with it.

I can tell this was my best experience at a shop, I took my car there because the fan was getting stuck every time it will go off, I was very skeptical at the beginning bc I never in my life have taken my car to be repaired out of the Acura dealership, but needed something urgent because Acura of Westchester wanted to stay with the car 3 days just to diagnose it, so I found Hunts point service station with a very good qualification on Google maps, they did the diagnosis and found other things that needed to be repaired, everything was repaired and I can tell you that my car feels brand new, it's unbelievable, I feel that it was a fair price and for sure is better than an Acura bill! Will definitely take my car back if I need to in the future! The only thing I was not very satisfied with was that my advisor was not very accurate with the timelines for the car to be done, but after all, it was a great experience! Thank you very much for taking good care of my car!

I'm very skeptical when it comes to auto shops that I've never visited before. I'm always afraid that I will be taken advantage of because I don't know much about car repair. But my experience here was so nice! There was no wait time, they took their time to explain to me the process to repair my broken window and which option is best, the price was also great! My glass had to be ordered and I received a notification the day before it arrived plus a phone call, so I had enough time to take off from work and get it fixed. It only took like 40 minutes to repair and everything went so smooth. I will definitely be coming here again and will recommend it to my friends and family.

My Bella, 2010 Honda Odyssey, was due for some major overhauling. Right before I brought her in she became a victim of a hit and run while parked. SoOoOo my insurance claim covered the body work which they BeAuTiFuLLy completed AFTER all the internal stuff was complete. Then my Baby Girl couldn’t pass inspection, something having to do with the “computer” stuff. I took their advice ran her for over 100 miles straight and she was able to pass with flying colors. The crew at this “family” business is tight knit, they know their business, the owners defer to the mechanics and vice versa, making this a smooth operation. It took a minute to get my baby back on the road, but trust and believe she was a mess. They’re very transparent, go over every detail and charge. Their waiting room is clean, stocked with coffee and snacks and the ladies holding it down in the office are so accommodating. I have challenges with my legs, so they drove me to the car rental place to pick up my vehicle. No worries, no problems. Me and my Bella have chosen Hunts Point Auto to be our “PCP” Primary Car Practitioner 💯✅‼️

Someone broke my back glass window unfortunately . I called so many places to try to get my glass fixed same day. I had no luck trying to reach someone who could fix same day. A friend of mine recommended hunts point auto and the phone representatives answered quickly, and were able to get me my glass repaired same day. Upon arrival I was greeted by workers working on cars which I thought was very nice for them to stop their work to acknowledge me and point me in the right direction. I walked into the office and my sales rep greeted me and escorted me to their wait room. The process was very fast about an hour long. The Mechanic even fixed my wind wiper motor for free because whoever broke my glass bended it. So he said was going to try to straighten it and he did luckily. So he saved me money on having to buy a new one. Than the next morning i received a very pleasant text from the owner asking me how everything was going with my glass.

Simply put - I had an appointment for a replacement front passenger side window, and the mechanic who helped me did so quickly and correctly. Cutting no corners, the man was simply efficient ; but as he used his palm to hammer in the last few door tabs to finish the job, the passenger side mirror fell out - no fault to his own, just a freak accident. Hunts Point Auto Sales & Service showed their exceptional inclination to quality care in **promptly** picking up a replacement mirror from the warehouse and installing, it all in under 30 minutes 👍🏾. I feel very fortunate to have found Hunts Point Auto a couple years ago after I bought a used 2008 Honda Element. Through regular maintenance & inspections with photo documentation, they’ve identified what should be serviced or replaced & when. They take time to answer questions and to explain the work. Most recently we went ahead with replacing the original shocks/struts which were long overdue for replacement…Removal of the originals was not an easy job. Fred was fully transparent about the challenges they ran into & what to keep an eye on hereafter.

I went to Hunts Point Auto Sales & Service for routine maintenance on my MB SLK350. Having used them before, I love the fact that they're open early so I could drop my car off and continue my day. I needed oil change, cabin, oil and air filters. They sent me pictures showing what they looked like before they changed them. I also had side lights that weren't working and had taken them to 2 different places and noone could fix them. HPAS&S did!!!! They figured out what the problem was and fixed them. I needed wheel bearings, , again they sent me pictures. I also had a crack on my windshield, you know debris from a CTV. They work with USAA, I was able to get immediate approval and within 2 days they also fixed my windshield!!! They do everything! They were upfront with all costs, so I could do what I needed to and no surprises. Fred & Jim were great with answering my questions and getting back to me right away. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my car and I'm sending everyone ender I know there. And that's rare when it comes to auto repair. Thanks again guys for making my baby whole again!!!

Asian Female Driver. Know car repairs as much as fixing well, everything else. Like most people in an unfamiliar area, I am always nervous about trying an auto shop for the first time. My car window was completed shattered by a thief in my neighborhood (Mayor Blasio, you should be ashamed to tell twitter about reduced crime rates). I called almost a dozen shops; Jim answered the phone with a price and told me that the repair could be done on the same day. When I arrived, I noted that the shops are manned by group of seasoned staff who talked straight. The waiting room was spacious and the staff who installed the window cleaned the window (wiped the edges several times) before fitting the glass into a space holder (a rubber frame) then putting the whole set back on to my car. The whole process took approximately 40 min. which is exact what I expected (when in double, google it). I paid what I was quoted over the phone. One day after the repair, I received a follow up text from the store just to make sure that everything is fine. It is a very nice touch in customer service, reflecting the pride and honor of the owner as well as management. As I drove away, another customer who had the same window problem came. I hope those who read this review would never ever need to replace his or her car windows due to theft or accident. If you ever do, I recommend this auto shop.

These guys are awesome! First, they treat you as if they had known you for a long time. They look at your car issue and if there isn’t one, they tell you, they don’t make one up which is so common with most mechanics. Honest mechanics are so hard to find. I went in with an annoying alarm issue that didn’t let me sleep. The dealer couldn’t figure it out after multiple trips. These guys did. They are not cheap, but they are fair with their fees and I recommend them without any reservations.

Drove down Hunts Point Avenue and found this establishment open early for business at 7:30 a.m.. The owner gave me a reasonable quote on replacing my front windshield and 2 hours later I was out the door a very satisfied customer. In the interim the owner directed me to a diner a block away where I had a nice breakfast after which I came back and relaxed in their nice waiting area. All I know to do is put gas in my car and more than once I have been lucky Diesel lump doesn’t fit because I have grabbed it. With that said I must add that Freddy was above and beyond patient, courteous and understanding. All the parts fit perfectly fine and were all correctly ordered and delivered in a timely manner. Even though i had the best experience at an auto mechanics repair shop, their is still alot to prove. I need to continue to see what i initially experienced every time. I would need to see prices that are expected cause i do my research before i head in to any situation involving money, especially when its my hard earned money that is on the line. I work hard but im no rich guy. Before i put money down on any part, i would need extreme convincing that the problem is going to be resolved and cost what it cost, like i said, i do my research. Im a skeptical person. But i do believe this auto mechanic repair shop is genuine, buuut only time will tell. I did have the best experience even though my skepticism is quite extreme. Someone busted in my window, so I drove my car with the glass continuing to shatter into the car as I drove. The guys are friendly but not too talkative. They charged a lot less than what my insurance quoted me. Same-day service. Window looks like the original, but cleaner, and works like normal. They vacuumed up all the glass — and the whole rest of the car. They called me when it was ready. I don’t know anything about cars and worry about getting shafted, but these guys were professional and honest.
