I have been coming to this auto repair shop in New York City for several years on and off. Unlike the Fiat dealership, the staff here is always pleasant and fair and the diagnosis honest. The prices are fair as well so I highly recommend this auto shop for those seeking honesty in a not so honest business.

My car was towed to them. I was hesitant at first if they can repair my new car but got my car back today and so far very happy with the repairs. Once the insurance sent the adjustor they took a week to fix. The items in the car was still there. I have to say the paint job matched my car. I am giving them a 4.8 out of 5. Great job.

In August 2022 I Purchased a 2007 Mini Cooper from Quality auto . I worked with Rony the owner who was Very friendly and Helpful! I went on a road trip to Maine for 10 days the day after I picked it up. The car preformed well. I had a couple small issues When I returned and Rony and Team fixed them promptly without charge! Everyone I encountered at Quality Auto Was helpful and Friendly! I would highly recommend Quality auto !

Nucci was my hero today. My rental car broke down in the middle of the west side highway and I waited forever for the police to send a tow truck that never came. I called AAA instead and Nucci showed up quickly. He was friendly and kind. The rental car was obstinate and difficult to move, but he figured it out and was able to tow the car to a nearby auto body shop. He also went out of his way to drive me to my destination. Thank you so much Nucci! I really appreciated your help and kindness. You made a terrible day much better.

Highly recommend! Ronnie, Ian, and everyone else at Quality Auto services are angels! I was visiting the city with my daughter and on our way out to go home my car broke down right before entering the Lincoln tunnel. Without hesitation Ian walked to where my car was (stuck in high time traffic) and jump started my car and drove it through all of the craziness to get it safely to the shop). We needed a new alternator and they replaced the battery, belt, and oil to be 100 percent safe. We figured that we’d probably be stuck in the city at least another night with all of the needed repairs but they were able to repair everything within 3 hours and they did a great job! They truly did save us and they were just as kind as they are knowledgeable…. Thank you guys!

I have had a great experience with Quality Auto Service. Ian and Rony go out of their way to help me. I changed my tires and did an alignment. The staff are very professional and at an affordable price. They are located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, which is really convenient for me!

Won’t be as cheap as the place an hour into Queens your friend swears by, but they do good work here. Plus you don’t need an appointment for routine stuff — got four tires mounted and balanced in an hour an a half after showing up unannounced. Will use again.

My Radiator blew and my insurance company sent them to tow my car; I had my car towed to their shop. They promised to take good care of my car and give me a good deal on the repairs. I must say they kept their promise. In addition to the radiator, my car required additional work, so I had them do everything all at once. The price was very fair and they even loan me a car to use while they repaired my car. I would definitely recommend this shop. They are extremely professional, they communicate well, and the quality of work is excellent. I will definitely use them for any issues with my car going forward.

Three weeks ago my engine froze on my 2008 Jeep Wrangler here in Manhattan. Quality Auto saved the day and was able to locate a replacement engine at a very good price which included a two (2) year warranty! Ron and the entire team at Quality Auto were incredible. Ron was professional, transparent, and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process, he even provided me with a loaner vehicle while my Jeep was being worked on at no additional charge. Overall I was extremely pleased with the service at Quality Auto and I highly recommend them for your auto needs. My jeep runs like new!

The tow truck gentleman, Steve, was super helpful. Whenever you need a tow it’s of course unexpected and stressful, I’m new to the city and didn’t know where to have my car towed since it was late at night and everything was closed. Excellent Service - I was traveling from Florida to NYC with my entire family and heard this disturbing noise that sounds like a flat tire in our van. We all got scared and concerned. We called 2 auto places , people were rude and didn’t care at all about our concerns. Meanwhile , I called Quality Auto Services, they were so nice, knowledgeable and respectful. They waited for us over an hour after their closing time while the tow truck was towing our van. They received our family with kindness- everyone was stressed even the children. We sat in the office, they offered us snacks and water while the mechanics were working in our van. They found out that the tires were fine and the problem was a wire that got hooked in the bottom of the car very close to the left front tire. They fixed the problem and sent us in peace. So very happy with Quality Auto Services. They were thorough, honest, prompt, and had great prices. I was shocked about the price because I assumed Midtown Manhattan prices were going to be over priced. Ron the owner explained that because I belong to a Nationwide Auto Club, there prices on Parts and Labor were the same as a customer in Utah, or Ohio. I will be using Quality Auto Services, for tires, oil changes, etc. all. Also they appreciate the business, they are a nice family business .

The service was unbelievable. I had an emergency where my Volkswagen Tiguan broke down in the middle of downtown Manhattan. Not only did they tow my car, within 20 minutes I knew what was wrong and they even contacted my warranty to have them cover the repairs. The owner treated my entire family with respect and made sure that we made it home safely and repairs were done quickly and inexpensively. I feel so blessed to have had this terrible experience turn so wonderful. I just drove the car 70 miles and it's running like a dream.

I got standard in the city cause my oil light came on, I walked into this shop to buy oil and a really nice gentleman by the name of Ronnie which is also the owner helped me out. I explained to him my problem and he offered to give me 6 quarts of oil for free, I just met him!! This guy is an amazing person and and runs an honest shop. I took my children into work with me on what may have been the coldest day of the year. Of course I ended up cracking one of my rims. The staff at Quality Auto Services started working on my truck right away. They ended up finding another issue and the job become more complicated. Every step I was shown the damage, fully explained my options and asked what course of action to take. With the issues mounting I was offered a loaner car to take my kids home. Ron and Ian worked to solve my issues at the lowest cost possible and never pushed for me to do any extras. I was extremely happy with the price and the quality of the work. They've always done a great job with my car. 1984 Porsche 944. A difficult car to find parts for and they always do. Turn around time is great, even with the part folding difficulties. Crashed a few months ago and they even found me a body shop and got me a great deal to fix the front end. I don't know what I'd do without them. They're my go to. Mechanics are friendly and will speak to you directly and show you the problems yourself so you know what's going on. Service department is good with keeping you updated and explaining what's happening. I've never had a problem with them and they've always done a satisfactory job. I highly recommend this shop. Location is really nice, too.

I am a new car owner and a new driver. Whwn my car started blowing smoke while on the FDR a couple days ago I panicked! I had just spent 300.00 on a diagnostic at a Nissan dealership less than three weeks ago where they reassured me my car was fine. All I needed was “an oil and filter change” A few weeks ago My car wouldn’t start and I noticed a leakage of what appeared to be coolant. I had my car towed to a dealership after it wouldn’t start and what a waste of time and money! Ten days later I freaked Again out when my car had to be towed by the FDR due to the engine overheating. Luckily I was connected to Quality Auto Services!! They helped to tow my car to their shop, offered me a loaner car and a free diagnostic. They treated me with respect, they didn’t offer me unnecessary services. Ron answered all my questions and was patient with all my follow up calls. The staff even negotiated with my insurance to get me the most coverage. Ron, Avi, Red- your customer service is rated A+ in my book. I would highly recommend Quality Auto Services for your car servicing needs!!

The other day my car stopped it wouldn't move out of neutral. I initially was going to have it towed to the dealer. The owner of Quality Auto called me and asked if they could do the job and it would save me a lot of money on the repairs so I gave them the chance even though I am very picky when it comes to my vehicle. after they ran their diagnostics I was informed that the front axle was broken the repair cost was almost $1300 with labor costs I mentioned to Ronnie I don't have money to cover a repair of that magnitude and he said to me not to worry about it we'll figure something out he just wants me to be back in my vehicle so I can get back to work. Ronnie even gave me a loner car to get back home. My vehicle got fixed and it runs better than it did before the breakdown. I just want to say this is a shop that looks out for the customers and doesn't try to take advantage of a situation. The owner Ronnie is a very good and fair man and the employees are a good bunch of people that will make you feel like one of the crewmates very friendly staff. Thank you Ronnie for your help and generosity in my time of need. If I ever need work done again on my vehicle you can bet your bottom dollar I will be pulling or getting pulled right into your driveway.

Most places would have found a way to make money off of me by telling me to change the alternator; the owner was honest and recommended a change of battery. The service was great. It was an emergency as we were traveling when our vehicle broke down. I accepted that I was paying higher prices for rush service and parts on a weekend in NYC. They were able to get me in and diagnose everything quickly. They were friendly and helpful. While I can't recommend breaking down in NYC, if you do, I highly recommend getting it fixed here.

Trust who you work with. When I go to my doctor I need to trust him totally, if not I will not go to him. When having your house repaired you need to trust your handyman. A car like a house is one of the largest investments a person makes, in financial or emotional terms. The choices one makes in the repairers of their investments is a blind one. True you can fix your house or your car, but to most people that option is not practical, so we all go to a third party to maintain and fix our prized passion. I love my car, it’s a statement of who I am. I have used many repair shops in my life, some were better than others and some were worse. After using a repair shop that I realized that I was taken for a ride, a friend recommended "Quality Auto Service, Inc.". I was shocked to find that not only was my car repaired as close to a dealer quality without the added charges. But with the feeling of honesty and trust as one can expect from one's doctor. I never expected to find in the middle of NYC an auto service shop that has an old-world honesty with a level of modern professionalism.

I am very impressed with Quality Auto Services. We needed an early morning tow for an unknown electrical issue. As a family operation that cares about the customer we were put in touch with brother Avi working the night shift. Avi assured us that the tow truck would arrive shortly and suggested that we allow Quality Auto Services to diagnose the problem as they have Certified Toyota Techs on staff. And that if we were not happy that they would tow us at not charge to the Toyota dealer on 49th Street. Almost sounds too good to be true, since this is NYC and all. A few minutes later Mario, the two truck driver, called to say he was on his way and was confirming our location. By 8:30 am the car was picked up avoiding any parking tickets. Now it was brother Rony's time to shine and shine he did. He understood our timing predicament and took the car right away to the onsite Toyota tech. After some diagnostic work the troubles were identified and the car was fixed and ready to go. Avi and Rony have a great formula or success - great customer service, easy to work with, do what they say they will do, and have attentive and effective staff. What I feared to be a Friday going into the weekend car mess turned into a great experience and we were done by noon. A big thanks to all the staff at Quality Auto Services for a job very well done!

I broke down in NYC near Madison square garden Saturday evening, and I called AAA, they sent a tow truck and sent me to a garage a mile away, to Quality Auto Service on W. 39th street. I just want to say that EVERYONE there was SO amazing! Ian the service manager stayed late to look at my car, and then everyone found the parts I needed and worked on my car first to get me back home to Boston with my three kids. I can’t say enough about everyone I spoke with on the phone, encountered in person, and especially Ian and Rony, the manager. Please send people from out of town to this garage! Got a flat tire in lower Manhattan that I couldn’t change myself thanks to some custom rims that came with my truck. Luckily I was towed to this shop, where I was greeted and taken care of immediately even though there were plenty of other cars in the shop. I was given a fair quote, which after agreeing to, the job was completed within 10 mins. I even needed new lug nuts that were given to me with no extra charge! We had a great holiday in NY during the Christmas period but unfortunately our car broke down on the West Side Highway while heading back to Boston. AAA dispatched Quality Auto Services to help tow our car on a Sunday morning. The tow driver arrived promptly and was very professional and courteous. He ensured that car was carefully loaded onto the flat bed truck and properly fastened to the truck. Rony and his team were available on Sunday and performed diagnostic checks to determine the root of the problem. They quickly repaired the electrical problem and was able to get the car started to perform a deeper failure analysis. I had to travel back to Boston so I worked directly with Rony via the phone on the next steps since the car had a more serious transmission problem. Which the absolutely did, from the moment I arrived there the whole staff was pleasant and helpful! There is an angel at Quality Auto Services!!!! I just moved back to NYC with my dear trusty ole girl Mitsubishi Mirage. I actually lived in this car at one point and it’s been a true struggle to get back on my feet. Finally in an apartment and working again when I ran over a huge street grate screw. A full diagnostic was run as I had been hearing strange sounds for months anyway. The results were shocking but legitimate. My wheel bearings were out and for the last few months my wheel could’ve come off at any time😮. When I found out that my sweet auto was a danger to even drive I was in a panic of how I would pay to get her back on the road. I drive a 1993 Honda accord, and last week I broke down on the Westside Highway with my 85 pound dog, Ruby, in the back seat. The car lurched to a stop, smoke gushed from the hood, and a cop had to hold up traffic so my dog and I could get out of the smoking car and safely run across 5 lanes of traffic to the sidewalk. We waited 2 hours in 90 degree heat for a tow. AAA wanted to tow me to the shysters at 54th Street Auto, but I said no - take me somewhere else. So they towed my car to Quality Auto on 39th. Turns out the radiator had exploded. The mechanic quoted the repair at close to a grand, and I said no - the car is not worth that. I figured I'd finally have to get rid of my beloved old car and rent one for my trip. (I may have teared up a bit, my stress level was through the roof as I was heading upstate to help a family member in need.) Rony, the owner listened to my story and said, "I'll fix your car, and you pay me what you can afford. Some things are more important than money." And then he gave me the key to a loaner car so I could take my dog home and wait for the repairs to be made in air conditioned comfort. How's THAT for a New York story? I was in the city for the wknd picking up my daughter from her summer internship. Car was packed and loaded to leave, sitting in a bus lane on 34th street.
