I have been a patron of Take5 for a few years, now. Each time I visit, it's a positive experience. At my most recent visit, Michael was very friendly, yet professional, as he advised me of what was taking place during my visit. My only issue was with the price increase...however, I understand that's of no fault of Take5. Keep up the great work, young men 👍🏾

Every time I come to this place there always seems to be atleast one random worker with an attitude. Idk, but If you don’t like your job that much by all means find a new one. The heavyset black guy with the glasses appeared agitated for whatever reasoning. The other two gentlemen who actually performed the services were extremely nice and very quick. However, Learn how to greet your paying customers. To keep them coming back.

My experience here at the Lynnhaven location of Take 5 was excellent. After being ran around by prior locations due to being told that my specific oil filter wasn't available, this location went above and beyond just to be sure I got what was needed for my car's oil change. Usually pretty happy with this place but 2 issues this time. First this is the second visit in a row that they dont have my engine air filter. It's a Honda civic... no reason this should ever be out of stock. Second they have an employee named summer who just overfilled my engine by 3/4 of a quart. she was too busy talking instead of paying attention to what she was doing.

Very professional young gentlemen! Deshawn ( hope I spelled that right) friendly and knowledgeable. Didn't feel pressured to buy anything. Suggested I get a new air filter, showed me old one it was gross. Asked for price. The other gentleman was also very helpful. After they changed my oil they showed me the dipstick, showing my oil was full. Great place to get your oil changed, new air filter or anything else they do there. Deshawn is a great asset to this company.

The workers here are honest and helpful not to mention fast. Turns out I didn’t even need an oil change but they topped off my windshield washer fluid and cleaned the windshield for free. I always go here for oil changes!

The facility looked neat and the Tech was very professional and competent. I even tipped him. My only comment was when i drove up, I had to wait 3-4 minutes before anyone paid attention to me. All i was looking for was maybe a wave and direct me to the “Bay” they were going to use. 2 were open and i was blocking the driveway waiting to get direction to pull in front of the correct bay? I have had other cars pull up after i was already sitting there for a while, and they were serviced before me. So i am sensitive to that. Otherwise they did everything i expected.

Although this place changes your oil very quickly my first experience there was definitely overpriced. I had never paid that much for an oil change ever. They didn’t have the oil filter that was needed for my vehicle so they charged me extra for another one. The light for my tire pressure was on and they couldn’t inflate my tires because their air compressor wasn’t working. I also gave them a coupon that I had that they told me that they applied to my order but of course they didn’t. All in all I wouldn’t go back and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

This is one place I have no problem giving 5 stars from my experiences with them so far. I brought my 2003 Ford Escape in for an oil change. There were 2 vehicles in front of me, and it only took about 10mins until I was in the shop myself. Demetrius and Brittany were the ones working on my truck when I brought it in, and let me tell you, they made the process as quick and stress-free as possible. This was my first time bringing my truck in to get serviced, so Demetrius made sure to explain everything from start to finish and was even explaining what they were doing each step of the way. The customer service was by far the biggest highlight of my experience. They went above and beyond what I expected, and def won't hesitate to bring any of my vehicles to the Take5 off Lynnhaven Parkway.

I have been using Take 5 for my oil changes on my older vehicles 2007 Honda Accord. I did not feel like the guys that worked on my vehicle this time were very engaging. I was not asked what oil service I wanted. It was assumed that I wanted a replete of my last (which I did but he should have asked me). I am not sure if the service was thorough as it seemed like the previous crew did more. This crew just laughed and joked amongst themselves the whole time. I mentioned that my transmission warning light came on and was informed that they could not check it or top it off.

I stop by yesterday to get an oil change and had no idea it would be that easy! I had to wait for the car in front of me to get finished up and it still took me under 15 minutes to get a new oil filter cabin air filter and my oil changed. They were extremely professional and polite and even wash my windshield and checked tire pressure. You will pay a little extra the new wood doing it yourself, but I think it’s definitely worth it for the convenience alone. I mean I probably have spent the difference in savings at 5 guys when hungover last Sunday, not a big deal. I’ll be back at 60k miles. Thanks guys! Tyler

Disappointed i went to get my oil changed at 7am, waited until 715am still no one showed. Decided to try again another day bc i couldnt wait anymore. I came back 2days later and was shocked to find out they wouldnt give me an oil change bc of a transmission leak. Apparently the last time i got my oil changed there they stated on my receipt that there was a transmission leak but they failed to inform me. I tried to explain that i obviously didnt know bc i wouldn't look for something on my receipt if i wasnt aware of the issue. Frustrated that i made multiple trips and was denied service. I could have taken care of the issue if i was properly informed. Sadly this made a negative impression on me about their customer service. Probably wont ever visit this location again. 3 occurrences of failed customer service.

I went there with my 2 kids and CamRon is an excellent worker. He went above and beyond to please me and my kids. The young man even offered them chips and juice of their choice. He offered me water and made sure everything was done in a timely manner. The gentleman even walked me through the whole process. That was helpful because I know nothing about an oil change, but he was sure to let me know what was being done and how it was being done. I recommend anyone going to go talk to CamRon. I surely will be coming back!

Quickest and easiest oil change service I've experienced. Went on a tuesday early in the morning so I expected it to be less busy. There was one car finishing up in front of me. The staff member Brendon I believe was his name, was very courteous, gave me a bottled water, explained everything he did, topped off my washer fluid, checked my air filter, and cleaned my windshield. It is a little pricey even for the lowest oil at $62 for semi-synthetic, but if you need a quick and easy oil change it's worth it.

It’s been a long time since my first visit. This second time was a bit lacking. The two men who helped me were nice but spoke very softly and it was difficult hearing what they were telling me. The pricing was fair for an oil change and my only concerns were that when they cleaned my windshield with that gas station squeegee it left dirty streaks when it dried. I would suggest you opt out on that. The other concern was that they suggested an air filter change which I agreed to but later was told they didn’t have one in stock. They also told me that they top off my cars fluids but were out of windshield washer. Other than that it’s a convenient service.

This poor guy was here by himself doing all the cars. There was a wait but his kindness and professionalism were on point. This guy needs a raise and a promotion. Not once did he have any type of attitude towards anyone and he got everything done in a decent amount of time fore being alone and working on over 6 cars while i waited. I am very disappointed about my service this time.. they told.me the panel that.cover my.oil pan was missing a screw and bent so they couldn't put back on ...they gave me the.screws and I opened my trunk for them to put panel in...next day I opened my truck to find the panel is not in there!!! I have been to Take 5 often & the mechanics are ALWAYS courteous & professional. On this one occasion, the Lynnhaven shop didn’t have the oil filter for my car. So the mechanic called the other shops. He sent me to the Newtown Shop. The gentleman came out & said he was waiting for me. I had an issue with my oil change from Take 5 where the technician may have accidentally damaged my oil coolant line. I didn't realize I had a problem until I was pulling into my driveway after work and my low oil pressure light came on. I called Take 5 and they told me the manager would call me at 7am the following morning. In the meantime, I determined what the problem was and went and got a replacement part to fix my car. As they said, the manager (Wade Poyner) called me promptly at 7am and I told him what the problem was. He said he wanted to make it right and I asked if they could reimburse me for the part which cost around $100. Wade said they couldn't take cash from the drawer to pay me but he gave me two free oil changes and 6.5 quarts of the best oil they have to put in my car after I fixed it. Wade easily could have said their technician didn't make a mistake and that there was nothing he could do. Instead, he apologized for the problem, took great care of me, and gave me oil changes and oil worth more than the cost of the replacement part. I am very satisfied with Wade's customer service and will continue to get my family cars' oil changed at Take 5.

The whole process was fast although it was more expensive than I had initially budgeted. I needed a new air filter and unfortunately they didn't have the one I need in stock so they told me if I went and got one they would put it in for me for free! If you want to get a fast oil change, this is the place to go. You don’t even get out of your car. The entire transaction occurs in the driver’s seat. Mine was about 5 minutes long. That said, it is not cheap. At $63 for the basic oil change and fluid replacement, it was more expensive than going to a cushy new car dealer. I ended up needing an oil filter which boosted the price to $90.

The attendant helped me and checked to see if I had oil in my van. My engine light came on and I couldn't get a good read on my dip stick. Thankfully there was oil and he sent me to AutoZone to have a diagnostic test to see why my engine light was on. He gave me peace of mind and helped me in 100 degree heat. Very nice guy.

Extremely professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly fast service. Stopped by 7/9/18 around noon and was able to get right in. Less than 20 minutes I was out the door with an oil change, multiple filters changed, fluids checked/topped off and wiper blades replaced. The staff let me know everything that needed service but there was absolutely no pressure to purchase. Can not recommend enough.

Came here on a Tuesday afternoon not busy so got in and out within 15-20 mins. Just recently got a Note 9 so I came here for my needed oil change since apparently you just sit in your car. Was greeted by Skylar and Jereq with a chilled water bottle and guided me inside. Explained the whole procedure as he has probably have done this many times however, The whole time they were doing work and explaining to me the different oils and info, not once did he falter in his professionalism. He even took the time to let me know of my engine air filter Though cleanable it may be, would need some attention in the near future and mentioned that any auto store has kits that can be Used for them. He saw My Mil ID and Gave me 25%off (active/retired) pretty cool of him. Jereq was on the floor getting things done I think they were the only ones there at the time but after me cars starting coming in. Over all I believe This Shop Is lucky to have such Professional and Knowledgable Team, though I only witnessed them I'm sure the rest holds the same standard... and if not them along with other companies Should learn a thing or two about customer service. I'll probably come Again in 5000 miles or so. And I liked how they removed the previous Mileage sticker, the previous place I went to just left it and placed it right next to it. But they did well. I would recommend this Place. If your lucky to get this dream team to take care of your oil change (plus they topped off some other fluids) then your in safe hands.

When I went to that location before the person changing my oil my sure to show me my old filter so I new that it had been changed that did not happen this visit.plus they scan inside the door to see what kind of filter was needed none of that was done so how did they now what filter to use?plus the pump was down for the regular oil change so I had to pay premium price!I do not thank I will be back .

I've been there a couple times last time I was kind of disappointed ☹️ kept trying outselling me I understand that but once I say no stop didn't clean my windshield like they did the times before their credit card machine went down they kept me waiting and waiting I feel like they should have a back-up plan and they also should have offered me a discount because I waited so long

Service was eh. They had a couple of young techs that seemed to play around too much. One spilled oil on engine cause they did not use the funnel.which was a few inches away from them. They need to remember people depend on cars to work and want a safe car for their families. Being careless does not instill confidence from the customer that the job was performed correctly.

If you've never been I highly recommend these guys. Knowledgeable, kind, respectful and just an overall great group of a team. First time I've been and it literally took 10 min with the windshield and tires(which they don't usually take care of), but oil change was spot on at just 5 minutes. Terrific place.
