I went in for an inspection and they found an issue that had been plaguing me. My running lights now work!! After yrs of frustration. They fixed a couple of things I needed and passed my car. Then I had them replace a door handle on my car for a very good price. The ladies up front were absolutely amazing! Robyn is who I talked to most and she a peach! They will be my new shop for sure!!!

Everyone was great, very helpful. I needed to get a large trailer inspected, which can be a hassle for the repair shop because it takes up so much space and can make it difficult for their other customers to move their vehicles around, but they never once made me feel like I was inconveniencing them, they got it done and had me on my way. Updated review: Protime staff called me the next day to check that everything was okay and to bring my car back if the by low tire pressure sensor is seen again! that's five star customer service! Original review: Everything is always great at Protime Automotive. They only thing is that the low tire pressure alert dashboard light wasn't reset after they repair my tire. Then, I drove the car and the light/chime came back on, which was why I took it there for maintenance in the first place. This was annoying. So, that had me outside checking the air pressure of all my tires again! They were all great. So, just reset the dashboard alarm and it would be perfect. Thanks!

I like this company, I've used them a couple times. I took my car in because I could not get the door to open from the inside or out. They got the door open for me and I am grateful for what they did but they tried to tell me that replacing an car door actuator was going to cost 800 dollars when the part is 40$ and I made the repair myself in less then 30 mins. Serious upcharge.

The diagnostic fee was $52.00 more than what I was originally quoted & unfortunately Protime was unable to do the repair because it required a special code to reset my car’s computer in order to fix the problem & only the dealership where I bought the car had the code so I was informed I would have to take my car to the Chrysler Dealership to make the repair which means paying another diagnostic fee at the dealership whenever I can get an appt since they are booked solid. It has been a learning experience for sure. The staff at Protime was very friendly, & was able to give me an appt right away so I am very grateful for that.

Has anyone ever tried to get service work done during Thanksgiving week. Near impossible. Protime came to the rescue. First, I was unable to get into their shop for a scheduled appointment. They were able to work with me and got me into the shop on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Second, the issue that I was most in need for this time was on my daughter's vehicle. She had work done at another shop where she lives and the issue was not resolved. So, when she was in town this time for the holiday I was able to get her vehicle into Protime (see 1) and they were able to diagnose the issue and have it repaired. Once again, the mechanics and staff were A-1. Thank you Protime!

I was just passing through Virginia Beach, and started to have trouble with starting my car. Protime was listed as AAA-approved and was able to get me in the next morning. Everyone was very personable and helpful, and after diagnosing the problem, I was able to get on the road again a few hours later. I was traveling with my cat, too, and they were very chill about letting me sit in the waiting room with her in her carrier. I was stressed and annoyed with my car, but they made the situation painless as possible!

ProTime provides friendly service without the hard sell. They are a great alternative to the dealer and are flexible about providing the service you need. They charged a reasonable price for two fluid exchanges and were careful to ensure the correct fluid was used. They provided an honest evaluation of the condition of my vehicle and determined it did not need any additional service. When is the last time you heard that from a garage? From now on, my wife and I will be bringing our vehicles to ProTime.

I brought my car in to be inspected after a check engine code detected a vacuum leak. I was quoted $700+ for the repair. I inquired as to the break down and was told labor was roughly $140 an hour and the part cost was around $300 from the dealership. They said part costs had gone up recently. After my boyfriend, who has extensive car knowledge, looked into my cars issue he found the part on rock auto website for $40 and discovered he can do the job on his own. They were very respectful, kind and thorough but I feel they are a little over priced.

I picked this company solely based on the good reviews and I was not disappointed. I passed 3 other shops that could of done the work (2 of which I have used in the past and will not use again). Dropped my truck off on Monday morning for an alignment after doing a lift kit. No appointment and I assumed they might be too busy with being closed the whole weekend. I was wrong. They were able to do the work same day and it was done by noon. Front desk was friendly, communication during was great, and pick up/payment was super smooth. They have a website to track your vehicle and get service reminders. This place is great and I highly recommend them.

These guys put a fuel pump in my car that turned out to be faulty. It still worked, but I just knew something wasn't right when I got the car back. This is the third used car I've purchased that Protime has serviced. On this particular visit, I thought I had a bad tie rod and ball joint. Robin had the technician check it out and she said she didn't want to charge me for something that didn't need replacing. Robin's honesty is the reason I keep doing business here.
