I scheduled an appointment at 8:00amand I was pleasantly surprised they took me exactly on time. The customer service rep is very nice, courteous and the waiting room is clean, comfortable atmosphere and I was done in less than an hour. I highly recommend Davis Auto Body Shop for anyone in need of car service.

Davis Car provides exceptional car care! I brought in my 2016 Subaru Outback for a cvt/transmission fluid change on 4/30/21 and they did a phenomenal job. All of the mechanics and staff therr are very knowledgeable and hard workers. The owner Kyle runs a great business and is fairly priced and does a great job. Consider using them as they are a small local business and veteran owned.

Took my wife’s car in for her inspection and happen to need repairs on my suburban at the same time. The inspector was fair and quick for that service. As far as the suburban goes, i took it in for a pretty significant engine misfire on cylinder 7. Had troubleshot at home for spark plugs, fuel pump and a coil pack but couldn’t figure it out myself. The team at Davis was about to drill down to the issue being 2 bad valves and a cylinder control manifold. They were very commutative on any issues found and were able to go to bat for me with the warranty company. After getting my truck back they informed me that they were able to get the warranty company to pay 95% of the bill minus the diagnostic fees (which i knew i had to pay) and for head bolts. The truthfulness, service, and overall experience was incredible. This will be my go to shop from here out. Thank you to everyone at Davis care center!

Went our of their way to accommodate me and inspect my trailer. Every place I called said they couldn't do state inspections on trailers. I work out of town during the week so I was stuck scrambling to get the trailer inspected. Davis Car Car accommodated me in my time of need. Plus, the gentleman at the counter has an incredible radio/newscaster voice. It was fun just listening to him!

I brought my car in for a state inspection. The women at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The shop is cavernous,, yet immaculately clean. There was a small clean comfortable waiting room with coffee and a TV. Within 45 minutes the mechanic had inspected my car, which had passed. I spoke with Chris, possibly the owner, who was outgoing and also very friendly. He explained to me in detail, with a written estimate, repairs I would need in the future. I would recommend the shop to anyone who needs repairs done on their automobile.

I was really impressed with the promptness and professionalism of Davis Car Care. I took my car in because it wouldn't start, and they had it running again very fast. There was some confusion because they didn't realize there were two problems both contributing to the failed start and the second was intermittent and didn't occur while in their care - when I came to pick my car up the first time it still wouldn't start. But they were reasonable about it, and even gave me and wife home, gave me a discount on the further repairs, and had the car working perfectly early the next day. Would recommend.

This is the second time I have purchased a set of four tires from tirerack.com and used Davis as the preferred installer. I couldn’t be more pleased with their service. In addition to a multipoint check of my vehicle, they took care of the install and alignment. They are pleasant, prompt, and thorough. Their price point for services is competitive and worth their considering. They have a lounge area with coffee and water, and restroom facilities if necessary. I highly recommend considering Davis for auto needs.

My friend referred me here in 2019. I have not gone anywhere else for my car. This last week my 2007 Pontiac Vibe broke down. Blake was so accommodating and kind. He let me have my car towed directly to him and took a look. He is very transparent about any issues and price. He explains exactly what is going on and if you don't entirely understand he takes the time to break it down so you know exactly what needs to be done. After determining that it was time to let my old car go he towed it to where it needed to go for me so that I wasn't scrambling around to do it and made the entire process stress free. They are located 20 Minutes from me and I will continue to take my vehicles here regardless of distance in the area because they take really good care of your vehicles. Joann is also a wonderful kind woman, every time i talk to her in person or over the phone she is very understanding and takes her time to get to know the clients.They are priced extremely well and i believe you pay for what you get. I get top notch service here regardless of the issue i bring to them and they try the hardest they can to make sure they are able to fix what needs to be fixed. If I could give 10 stars I would. Chris Langdon made an appointment for my vehicle to be inspected. The appointment was at opening on a Saturday. I was greeted, written up, and advised quickly. Fast friendly service by the service writer (Julia?). The tech found a severe transmission leak and willingly showed it to me. $60 + for a side marker light replacement did seem overpriced.

I needed to schedule a car inspection and Davis Car Care was one of few that did. On the day and time of my choosing. I later decided to add an oil change and it was not an issue. They got my car completed around 45 minutes after I got there and we’re very nice and friendly. I highly recommend!

Chris was great explaining what the mechanics recommended for my truck. I brought it in for an inspection and it passed without any work being done. What he explained to me was regular upkeep on my truck to keep it on the road. It currently has 165000 and they will do all work from now on. The garage and bays are very clean and organized. I had my tirerack.com order shipped to these guys. The tires got to their shop on a Friday afternoon and they installed them on Saturday morning. They even took the time to stow my spare correctly when they could have just tossed it in the back. Very easy to deal with and good communication. This business clearly believes in quality and customer service and I will certainly keep them in mind for any other future auto repair needs.

Cannot say enough good things about Davis’. My husband found them when he needed a state inspection done quick as he had forgotten to get it done and couldn’t go to work. They were quick and very professional. Another time, they fixed my window on my Pathfinder. Most recently, they helped fix my son’s 2003 Jeep Wrangler with its issue of leaking coolant, after already changing out the water pump and thermostat ourselves 🤦🏽‍♀️. They fixed the leak, and were done in less than an hour. Have never had bad service from here and the folks are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend their services. We won’t take our cars anywhere else.

I'm very stubborn when it comes to letting someone else work on my vehicles but occasionally I hit brick walls and I give in. Fortunately, I took my truck to Davis. Very clean and spacious shop with good lighting. Staff were very nice. The mechanic who worked on my truck (Ben) was awesome. Took the time to actually troubleshoot instead of throwing parts at it, saving time and money. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

The tires arrived Mar 30, 2017, and I came in first thing the next day. They took great care of me and my car. They're good at what they do and charge a fair price for honest work. I can’t say enough good things about our experience here! I HATE all car things, and dread worrying if being a female will effect treatment of service. Davis car care and tire were amazing in fixing a pricey issue with my car after it was towed to their shop. Not only were they transparent, honest, but they were beyond kind and wonderful people to deal with. Blake and his team fixed everything overnight and came in under his price estimate. On top, he remembered the military discount and fixed all the issues. I’d ignore the 1 star disgruntled reviews because there’s no way top service like this could waver negatively. We don’t have car work done often, but I’d definitely recommend them to anyone debating where to get their service done! Thanks again!

Really great experience, I had to have my car towed here due to a flat tire and not having a spare. They didn’t have the tire available but we’re able to get it taken care of by the next day. They were also able to give me a ride to & from which was very helpful. Very easy to deal with and when I had a question regarding the balancing, they came right out & met me before I could even get back to the door ready to answer any questions I had. Would return if I have any care care needs in the future and would recommend to anyone in the area.

Nothing shy of an amazing company. I have trusted nobody else for the past 2 years of being in Virginia with my Jeep. Had some tire issues and brakes and they fixed her right up, in and out. After getting her back, my check engine light came on for an unrelated issue. They told me to bring her in immediately and diagnosed, repaired her, and out the door the next day. I had such an awesome experience at Davis Car Care today! When I walked in, Matt and Theo were very friendly, informative and really went above and beyond to help me. I came in close to an hour before closing but they were able to get the part I needed delivered and put on so quickly!!! What a great experience! I thought I had an inspection appt at another retailer but I didn’t and they turned me away. I Googled ‘State inspection near me’ and discovered Davis Car Care! What a happy accident. Blake said they were backed up but when I said I couldn’t leave the car and started to leave he managed to squeeze me in. 30 min later I was in my way! Shutout to Blake: He always takes great care of my vehicle when it comes in. Not always the cheapest but I trust that he as well as the rest of the Davis Car Care team are providing the "Best Value" rather than the cheapest solution (Factory Part on essential equipment vice a cheap aftermarket alternative). I have been going here for four years and they have always been generous when it comes to labor. They do not price gouge or sabotage like some of the other dealers I have worked with. Best car care customer service I have ever received with frequent phone updates and no costly "already installed it" moments that remove me from the decision making process and cost me a fortune. Blake specifically takes the time to explain what is going on with my car without being condescending or overly technical.

Took my car to Davis Car Care for a state inspection. I was told that I needed to replace the oil pan gasket. Another shop told me the same thing but they didn't want to risk doing the job because of the way the pan was situated and might make the problem worse. I liked the confidence that Carol (General Manager) and the technician (sorry didn't get his name) at Davis Car Care shown. I was assured that they could do the job and they did. Gave me a ride home while servicing my car and offered to pick me up when the car was ready. Great customer service and a very caring staff.

The work done was solid ( front brakes , rotors and new plugs ) but I felt like the communication was a little lacking. I left with the assumption it would be done that day (and it was) but they told me after 3 hrs they would "probably" get it done that day. Over the past few weeks, we'd been getting the run around from the dealership we recently purchased our truck from regarding issues with the radiator and low oil pressure. We'd taken the truck in twice and the dealer wasn't responsive and was terrible in providing us with the reasons behind our issues and gave us the truck back without doing much of anything. They said everything was a-okay. Well, 3 days after picking it up from the dealer service dept., the oil light came on again. Beyond frustrated with trying to deal with them, we decided to seek out another opinion. We called Davis on a Saturday morning and they were able to fit us in same day. They inspected everything we asked them to look at, called and provided us with very detailed information regarding what was going on with the truck and had it fixed up and ready for us all by 4pm. We were so impressed with their amazing customer service and will without a doubt be returning for our future needs! Seriously...great customer service!

Davis car care was very honest with me when I called about having a flat tire repaired. I was told that they were very busy and wouldn't be able to look at my tire. I appreciated that rather than having to sit and wait for hours. I asked if they could see me the next morning and was told I could show up first thing and my tire would be looked at. I rolled in 5 minutes before their official open time and was taken right in. Their service was outstanding and they got me back on the road quickly and inexpensively.

My vehicle's shifting mechanism was locked in Park and I had to get it towed into Davis Car Care. They were polite, professional and very efficient. I took my car for an inspection last year...just stopped in. They were busy, but made room for my car and I out in no time. Recently I needed my tires rotated and mentioned I was leaving oil spots in my garage. They put dye in the oil in order to determine where the leak was. I went back a week later znd they found the source of the leak. Because they had to go get the part I needed, it was going to take a couple of hours to get it done. They are very accommodating...even provided me a ride home so I didn't have to wait there. That was awesome. They are very polite, extremely friendly and efficient. The bag of candy that is left in my was a nice bonus. They have my business.

Joane , I believe she is the manager. My car's dust shield came off and it was hanging and touching the ground making a grating sound. I saw their shop and pulled up.It was 80 degree hot.They were busy but Braden ( sorry if i got the name wrong) made time for me to fix it temporarily at no charge . I promised to come back the next day and got it fixed perfectly.We need honest people like them around us. These people are just amazing. They are hard working,will never overcharge you and finish the job in time. I was desperate to find a place to get my car inspected. Yes I know its after lunch, and the last week of the month. After being turned away by 3 shops in person and calling 6 more I finally got a hold of Davis Car Care. Joanne was so kind to me on the phone and told me to come right in. You never find quality service like this. They inspected my car and even offered to fix the plate that was hanging off my front end. I needed an oil change and they even offered to do that while the clips were being delivered. All of this done in under an hour while i waited, with no appointment. It is rare to find this kind of personal service now a days. Even rarer to be treated so kindly. If you need auto repairs, this is the place to go. 😊

I always take my car to Davis. They are honest, work is done accurately, and time estimates are met. In this age of Covid I was very pleased to see at my last visit that everything was done with customer safety in mind. One family or person in the waiting room at a time, with tents outside and industrial size fans to provide relief from the heat. Social distancing rules are enforced. The employees are courteous and they don't try to upsell repairs that aren't needed.

I've been going to Davis Car Care for about nine months. They got my 1998 Ford F-150 within safety standards in January. This last service was for my 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca, which we've only had for a few years. This was the first major servicing it's had since we owned it, which was a day and half of repairs. Joanne and Blake kept me informed about the repairs needed, the difficulties the Technician was experiencing, and when to expect them to be complete. The respect they give me is priceless. Davis Car Care and Tire Center offered fantastic service and provide phenomenal communication throughout the whole process with my vehicle. My car was towed through Aaa and the tow company damaged an additional part (which was 3x the cost of the initial fix!). Blake was very helpful throughout the process, walked me through each step on getting it covered, and even had conversations with the tow company ensuring I was not responsible for the damaged part. After battling with the tow company for over a week, the item was covered and Davis Car Care was able to make the fix and did so immediately and within the same day. I was provided updates throughout the whole process and was given cost estimates up front before anything was fixed. This was the first time I’ve had my vehicle here and I will continue to bring it back from here on out. Definitely a reliable place!

Davis Car Care & Tire Center is a great shop with a friendly and courteous staff that offers quick, reliable and HONEST services. I had been hustled twice in the past by another shop (**COUGH** kramertire **COUGH**), which prompted me to learn more about auto mechanics. With exception to tires and state inspection, I've been doing my own work for about a decade since then (much easier when you're single), but now I have a wife and a kids and I don't always have the time. That said, I first visited Davis on a whim because I was in dire straits. I went in uncomfortable because of past history, but I left feeling great! Davis has pulled through in a pinch for me and my family a few times now—NO HASSLE, NO HUSTLE. Whether I need rubber, inspection, or a job I don't have the tools or time for, I can always trust Davis. They're a cut above the rest, bar none. If I can't do it myself, then I won't go anywhere else but Davis. Thanks, guys!

I had brought my 2016 Jeep Wrangler in for service a few weeks ago. The staff at Davis Car Care were all so helpful in getting my Jeep back on its feet. So professional. Some extra time was spent but they were kind enough to stick with the original price. Davis Car Care saved me tons of money! I wanted a roof rack installed on my 2012 Honda Odyssey and the dealer was going to charge me $850 (parts and labor). The people at Davis researched the parts for me and told me which ones to purchase on Amazon, then I brought my van in and they installed the roof rack in less than 2 hours. I had such a great experience at Davis Car Care and Tire Center. I was visiting some family in town and was traveling a good distance back home and I wanted to make sure everything was up to par with my vehicle, I had been concerned about a noise coming from a rear wheel. I called and made an appointment and they gladly scheduled me in. I arrived at the shop and after a complimentary test drive and check they gave me their assessment and recommendation. There was no pressure to service the car or anything like what you normally receive at most auto shops. They were completely genuine and honest. I fortunately did not have any pressing concerns with the car and did not require any services, but I recommend Davis Car Care and Tire Center to anyone who wants to have a pleasant and professional auto service experience. If only they were located in New York!!

This is not your typical automotive repair facility. They always provide the best service at a fair price. Friendly, knowledgeable and patient with impatient customers (like me). After I got my SUV back from them I decided to take the invoice and price out the parts and labor at a dealership and well known vehicle repair place, as my daddy used to say,"Trust but verify." After presenting it to both places (total cost on original invoice excluded) I found out how much I saved. I of course was thinking to myself that in a month or two my car would break down again and my check engine light would come back on as it had the last couple of times I had it serviced at a different place. I am glad to say that it has been six or so months and not a single problem. These guys are the real deal, so much so that when my brother bought his new/used car we took it to them for a once over as well as his girlfriends older model new/used car. all three of us are happy and grateful to the folks at Davis Car Care. I've been coming to this shop so long that I remember when it had two locations. When the Holland road location closed down, I hoped it didn't spell bad news for the business. Every time I come here, I'm leaving assured. My last visit was for a PCM issue. Blake was the magician, with the other magicians, who made my auto troubles disappear. It's a flowery way of saying it, but it's true. He laid out every issue with my car and took me through each step of how they would correct it. Furthermore, he knew the specifics of my car as if he owned it. He treated it like it was his. Some might say that every mechanic could do that; however, he was genuinely concerned so wouldn't have to return for the same issue. He treated me like family. You can't buy that type of authenticity, it's natural. They handled my PCM, state inspection, and gave me an oil change since I was overdue for it. Lastly, I didn't feel cheapened by the quality of the parts. I know i'm getting the best of the best from them. The whole staff is welcoming and the environment is relaxed. It doesn't feel like a doctor's office. I LOVE going here and i will always recommend anyone to come here first for any car problems! Thank you Blake and Davis Car Care!

Davis Car Care is amazing. I rarely leave reviews anywhere, but this is one place I felt the need to let everyone know about. I have always taken my Volvo to the dealer, but decided to take try Davis Car Care because it's literally in my neighborhood. I will NEVER go any place else. Davis Car Care goes above and beyond in their customer service. In addition, A big point to me is they never try to pressure me into unneeded services. That said, if they notice something wrong during the routine care they will let me know and let me know if and when it requires repair. Prices at Davis Car Care are more than competitive, they beat everyone I compared them with on a new set of tire and as a single mom of every penny counts. Being a single female, I am not always comfortable when it comes to car care, I am a nurse not a mechanic.... and from the moment I walk in or call, Joanne makes me feel right at home. Update 9/17/2018: General Manager contacted me a while ago. Offered to fill up my tank which I graciously accepted. The vehicle was back a couple of times to check the fuel gauge accuracy which they jumped on promptly. Thank you. Previous comment: Previous good experience, but not this time. 1100 dollars for a fuel pump replacement. Needle was stuck at E, but couldn't tell because they left my truck on empty. Fueled it up 1/4 tank and still on "E", took it back. Picked it back up, then a few days later, the car broke down (bad fuel pump again). I brought it to them with 100 miles left on the tank and got it back with 3 miles of gas left. No common courtesy to put some of that gas back in .....is it worth risking the customers safety and a possible tow because the repair shop can't put back an adequate amount of fuel?

All gravy at this place. Took my Acura in a few times this last month and they fixed up that same day each and every time. My car rides like a dream now instead of the violently vibrating death machine on a roller coaster track to hell that I had become so accustomed to. Sometimes they do not have my vehicle ready when promised, but I do not feel like they ever tried to take advantage of me. I usually know what needs to be done before I bring it in, so I inspect those areas prior to and after service. I have read some bad reviews lately and will be sure to provide an update if anything changes.

Blake was incredible. I came in with a super old car from Mississippi. I’m talking a 25 year old Crown Victoria. I needed it to be checked on and see what could be done for it to be safe. Blake made sure I understood everything that was ACTUALLY wrong with the car, and all the things that were just old, needed to be replaced, but could wait until I got it to Mississippi. I’m a woman and I’m always putting my dad on the phone with someone because I’m terrified of getting ripped off. This was not the case here. I won’t take my cars anywhere else from now on. He fixed up everything I needed (called around and got parts to the shop same day for my SUPER old car) and worked hard to get me on the road home same day. Seriously. Incredible service. But more importantly, total transparency and this place gave me solid reason to trust them from now on.

I love this place!! I went to beach automotive and I had them tighten my wheels up but instead they put the studs on wrong and bent them. I went to Davis CarCare because my lug nuts where striped and I was praying they could help me. At first we thought it was going to break and have to buy a new hub. Thank God the technician took there time and it didn't break and it saved me over $600 dollars. I would suggest you come here first and you will never be disappointed.

Had my Murano there and they replaced the belts, next day it was making squeaking sound. They re- adjusted with no attitude or problem. They also put my old wheels on new tires, there was miscommunication on MY part and they still did not charge me full cost. Owners call i believe. Best car shop I've ever been to. Car had bad wheel bearings. Had someone else "fix" it. That mechanic screwed the car up even more. Called Davis Car Care and my two small children and I drove over there. The car was in worse condition than thought due to previous mechanic's terrible job. Davis Car Care explained to me everything that was wrong and showed me everything. Seeing that the situation was worse than expected, I was stuck with no car and two small kids. Davis Car Care actually got one of the mechanics to take me and my children home since it was going to take a while. How many auto shops out there would actually go out of their way and take a family home? Not only that, the prices they charged were extremely reasonable. When I came to pick my car up, it was 100% fixed. Everybody there are extremely friendly. Most places just try to rush with everything and get you out the door. Not here. They take their time and make you feel like you're a person, not a wallet. Their waiting room is very comfortable and has a play area for the children and snacks and drinks available for everybody instead of a vending machine which was totally awesome. If you want great customer service and quality work, this is the place to go. Wish I had found them sooner. Thanks Davis Car Care for everything and helping my family.

Best shop in the beach. Long story short, another shop had told me my compressor was bad and wasn't engaging, without telling me my refrigerant was too low for it to engage. They quoted me at $1300 to fix. Took my car to Davis for a second opinion and they said everything was ok, and I just needed a recharge. Saved me a lot of money. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic customer service and honesty with Eric at the front desk. I came in with a screw in a tire on my SUV. My vehicle was in one of the bays within 3 minutes of arriving. After they pulled the wheel off, they determined the screw had not penetrated the tire and had not caused enough damage to warrant a repair. Eric informed me that they would place the tire back on the vehicle and send me on my way without having to pay anything. This will be the place I take my two vehicles for oil changes and maintenance for the foreseeable future. It's nice to find an honest mechanic!

Better off doing your own work! Before I took it in I had zero issues. I have had multiple issues with my car since they touched it, including an additional noise in the cabin, loss of power, and idle lower than it was previously. I had leftover plastic that the guy snapped off, but couldn't explain where it came from. Forgot to put the noise deadening material back into the shifter assembly. I figured they would help me after all of these issues, but they were going to charge another $450 just to check it out. Waste of the initial $600 they charged in LABOR only! I should have gone elsewhere with my money, just read these reviews.

Been using Davis for past 2 years since stationed here, and each experience gets better and better! Just got a tire with a screw in it repaired in 1 hour flat, including the 15 min drive there and back home, only 30 min in the shop after calling at 4:30 PM this afternoon. Hands down best customer service! Across the board from all employees, quick service, special touches like note cards in the car after service is complete with candy for the kids, Wifi and Kureig coffee in the waiting room, all top notch. Best of all, their prices are way under what you pay for at the dealerships, and these guys will not try to push extra services on you. Can drop off in overnight box or wait there for work to get done. They also will do their best to match your budget, like the time I had to get a hood latch fixed on my '99 Honda Accord, they went and obtained a used part from a junk yard which has worked just fine for a 1/4 of the cost. Bottom Line: Exactly what the neighborhood auto shop used to be, and still is here! Disappointed I am PCSing this month, but when we return to Va Beach, I know who will be working on my vehicles. I took my Honda there for a state inspection and was offered an oil change as well; since it needed it, I agrreed. When I stopped by later to pick up the car the $32.99 'promo' oil change ballooned to 48$ ! When asked why, the young lady at the counter explained that #1, i did not print the online coupon (?) and #2, the price of filters just "keep going up". This just left a bad taste in my mouth as I would have expected more from this group of folks. To honor an online promo when I asked about it is really the way to establish good customer service, repeat business and regular visits. I just felt as if I was taken advantage of. Oh well, I learn my lessons too.
