Impex did a phenomenal job on my car. I live in SC and had a wreck while visiting in Tampa. With my car being my baby, I was absolutely heartbroken when it was damaged. Not only did they make my car look brand new again, they went the extra mile to ensure everything was mechanically sound before driving it back home the same day. They also take amazing care of their customers. When I wasn’t getting updates from my insurance they kept me informed on every little detail. I know if I ever need any body work done to my car I would be more than happy to make the drive down there to have their team work on it again. I am so thankful for their kindness and diligence - five stars isn’t enough!

This place was amazing! I was sent to them by my claim adjuster and they were so impressive that I had to leave a review. I was greeted right away, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the entire process was smooth and easy. My car was repaired in less time than they quoted me (and way less time than we all expected!) and it looked brand new when they returned it. Very impressive. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

My car was in a minor collision and I took my car to Julio (owner) of Impex. To say the customer service and quality of work far exceeded my expectations is an understatement. The staff literally went above and beyond in every aspect from how fast they got my car in, to the service from the moment I handed over my keys, to the EXCEPTIONAL outcome. I can honestly say their paint job on the bumper matched the car even BETTER than the actual factory paint. It's never fun to get in an accident and need repairs, but this place honestly made it as enjoyable as 8t could be. From Celina in the office who is very good at her job, the fantastic espresso that they are happy to make and share with customers, to the perfect job they did on my car, I hope to never need to return, but certainly will if needed! IMPEX has fantastic customer service! I brought my car in due to an accident and asked them while it was there to fix a headlight issue that I had been having for a while. Come to find out, the headlight wasn’t working because the wires had been chewed up by mice and had made a nest under my hood. The staff at IMPEX had to take a lot of the parts out of my car to fix the issue which took them extra time. The owner didn’t charge me any extra for the services and the entire staff was very friendly. They did a great job not only fixing the wiring issue but also fixing the dent from the accident and as a bonus the inside of my car looks brand new after they cleaned it out! I highly recommend this place!

IMPEX owner Julio, his son Julian, and his daughter Celina, as well as all the staff are truly exceptional and always smiling! While dropping off my wife's car for collision repair, my car would not restart. In the midst of other customer service and intake, I told Julio my situation and Julian immediately volunteered to retrieve the jump box and Julio started the car and performed a diagnostic scan confirming a failed battery. Julio gave me advice and counsel on a replacement battery and implored me to return with the new battery so that he could ensure proper installation, registration, and code clearing. Indeed, Julian installed and registered the battery and performed all necessary coding functions in under 15 minutes. During our brief wait we witnessed Celina on the phone with a customer, walking through the steps of the insurance, repair, and rental car processes with great care and professionalism. Even more impressive than the urgency, care, knowledge, and skills that Julio, Julian, Celina and the staff display is the feeling that you are a member of their family and that is truly a rare and meaningful thing. Impex GAE is the best, hands down! They were so professional and caring from the first call. I had to work with them to get my bumper fixed through insurance from a rear-end accident and my car came back looking like I just drove it from the dealership. If I could, I would give these auto angels a 5000 star review. I've never done business with anyone that treated me so much like family, and with so much care. I was in between this business and another one, (they both had a 4.9 star rating, but Julio had many more WONDERFUL reviews,) and after prayig and talking to my sis ... this was the one I chose. And man, it was blessing after blessing after that. Julio, the owner, is one of the kindest hearted people I've ever met in all 30 years I've lived on this earth. You don't meet such kind and generous people anymore, especially dealing with business type things. This man didn't even know me and my little baby (36 weeks pregnant in 2 days 😄,) but he took such great care of us, after my car was annihilated in a terrible accident, and my car insurance left me feeling nothing but hopelessness. But I knew God was truly with me, like I had been believing, the moment I stepped into Julio's shop and he introduced himself. (His repair shop was one of the choices from my insurance company, Progressive, and let me tell you, the name brand places are NOT it. Somewhere like Julio's shop is where you'll truly be taken care of, and the #1 choice!) After the miraculous repairs, I didn't even recognize my baby. I cried for about 5 minutes after I came to pick Onix (my car) up & had gotten in, just in shock and thankfulness of everything. They even detailed my car inside and out, and had things sparkling and working BETTER than they had BEFORE my horrible wreck. LIKE COME OOON, IS THIS FOR REAL ??? Listen, I could write a BOOK about this place, but let me just drop these pictures here and let them tell the rest of the story for me. Oh and one last thing. Julio books the nice and brand new rental from Enterprise for you, and you pick it up there as well, for practically NOTHING. Talk about 5000 star service !!! I highly recommend this shop, they did absolutely wonderful work on my Mazda. It was my first accident, so I was not familiar with all the steps involved after an accident. Julio and his team were extremely friendly and filled in all blanks I had regarding the work being done on my vehicle and the timeline. I had $6k worth of damage to my front-end and my car looks just as it did when I bought it. You’ll be hard pressed to find a shop that matches the quality of work and customer service as Julio and his team.

I was sent to IMPEX by my insurance after an accident and I can not say enough positive things about them. I walked in and was instantly made to feel taken care of. The owner was incredibly kind, offering me food and espresso. He gave me a detailed timeline of when my vehicle would be ready, which was greatly appreciated. While the damage was to my bumper, they even cleaned the inside of my car (I have a toddler and am embarrassed by the state of the vehicle I handed them)! The bumper looks fantastic, too. Truly five stars, I couldn’t recommend them more.

I brought my VW Passat in to get repaired due to an auto accident. They took great care of my car. They were fast and efficient. After I picked it up, I noticed there was something still wrong. WOW! 10 stars would not be enough as these guys are beyond amazing. I was deeply impressed with customer service first and foremost, and then with how perfectly and quickly they fixed my car that was damaged in a fender bender. I was told that the wait time may be a few weeks due to supply issues (which is understandable in October of 2021!) however it ended up being just four days from the moment I dropped the car off to picking up. They kept me informed about the progress during the process, and to top it all off, treated me to some wonderful Argentinian pastries which is apparently what they do for their staff and customers every Saturday morning. I am blown away with the level of quality of work here, and the personal touch and kindness of the owner and staff is truly unparalleled! Very happy to recommend IMPEX. Thank you Julio & Dad!

They even took care of returning my Enterprise rental car. *And* I left with a mango pastry and espresso in my hands, as well as a smile on my face. My wife and I came here after an accident we spoke with Julio which is amazing! Very professional and knowledgeable as well! After the fixed the damage like 3-4 months later we had a few issues and finally made it back in it didn’t have anything to do with what they fixed the first time but he did not charge us he refilled the Freon in the ac and checked a few more things out for us all while smiling!!! With so much going on, I wasn't looking forward to dealing with your typical body shop, the hassle of repairs or rental cars. I was beyond pleasantly surprised at their professionalism, hospitality, great work, and the family oriented atmosphere they've establish AND they are a direct pick up and drop off location for the rental car! Even after picking up my vehicle, I noticed a minor issue. When I called, they immediately said "no problem, come back in." Talk about red carpet treatment! My Chevrolet Equinox is good as new. With this level of service excellence I'm shocked I hadn't heard of this location before, but going forward I will gladly refer them to anyone with a vehicle service need.

Julio, Selena and Julian are an amazing team! I wanted to leave a review to make sure they get the credit they deserve and it looks like tons of other people feel the same way! Their customer service is incredible. Everyone treats me like family the second I walk in. They offer complimentary espresso and ask me how my week is going. I had to come back after my initial repair and have Julian adjust something. There was no hesitation. He was on it right away, so eager to help and make it right. This is the easiest 5-star review I've ever had to give any shop. This place made my auto repair incredibly easy. I brought my car in for a window repair and they had it fixed the following day. Julio was very upfront and honest with the repairs that were required for the window, which is a rare quality nowadays. The staff is extremely friendly and the quality of service is top notch! I had a minor accident hitting a street sign and had to open a claim with my insurance. Ended up choosing Impex to have the work done there and I am extremely happy that I did. Phenomenal Experience! Julio and his team were great from start to finish fixing my 2017 Audi A7. Julio kindly reached out to me after I selected them to do the work. He insisted on driving me to the tow lot to make sure everything went smoothly. They kept in touch with updates about the car. My experience at Impex GAE was exceptional. Another driver rear-ended my 2012 BMW X5 and it suffered a smashed tailgate and bumper. I immediately worked with my insurance provider (Progressive) who arranged an appointment with Impex in 3 day’s time as well as a rental car. The drop-off at Impex was quick and smooth and the staff was very friendly and professional. They estimated 7 working days although I assumed it would take much longer due to parts availability for a 2012 BMW. Impex works directly with Enterprise Rental so Impex had Enterprise pick me up within 5 minutes after dropping off my car. Much to my surprise, Impex met their estimate of 7 business days. The repair and paint match are perfect and they even cleaned my car inside and out. Impex also handled the car rental drop-off and all of the insurance paperwork. The pick-up process took just 10 minutes. The entire process was exceptional and top notch and I could tell that the entire staff was honest and just “good people”. Thank you Impex – you’re an incredible family-run business!

Progressive recommended this shop, and it's easy to see why: they completed the car on the day they said they would, they were ready when I arrived, they communicated throughout the entire process, and the customer service was incredible. Will definitely recommend to everyone I know. Edit: I came back a year later due to water leaking in my car. I wasn't sure if it was related to my previous accident, but I wanted to find out. Julio quickly met me outside, spent half an hour walking me through the potential issues, and performed a water test. Once he realized what the problem was, he had me drop off the car a few days later and completely took care of the problem--no questions asked. It's rare to find businesses that genuinely care, especially to the degree that Julio and his team do. Awesome experience!

First of all it is extremely easy to schedule a drop off for an estimate of your car. The estimate is completed while you wait. And while you wait they make you feel like you are at home offering you Cuban coffee, great conversation, a huge tv and the cutest dog to pet. When you decide to have the professionals work on your car, they keep in constant contact with you regarding your repairs and estimated completion time. They do not cut corners in order to satisfy a completion time. In my case my insurance company stated that my bumper was repairable. Upon further review Julio contacted my insurance company to inform them that the bumper had to be replaced. It took a few extra days, but perfection takes time! These men are amazing and do whatever is possible to save you money while providing excellent customer service and treating your car as if it was their own.

I can't begin to tell you how pleased I am with Julio and his staff. I had my car repaired there several months ago. Being new to the area I was skeptical of any service being done. I was pleasantly surprised that my car came back better than it ever was even when new. The paint you could tell was better quality than Acura used when the car was built. This facility does absolutely magnificent work and I highly recommend them for any repairs moving forward. UPDATE: today I went in to the shop because I dinged my fender and my door would not open. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt comfortable with them. I'd never done this before so didn't know what to expect. Progressive Insurance didn't do their part by getting the referral over to them but Impex handled it smoothly without me having to do another thing. Two nights later, Julio called me to let me know the estimate and when my car would be ready. After my experience with Progressive and the rental company, he was such a nice surprise. Very pleasant, calm- he explained everything to me very clearly, and somehow I knew I was in good hands. After a week Julio called me to tell me my car was ready.....2 days before the date he originally told me. When I got there, he walked me out, opened my door, my car was not only fixed but they washed and detailed it. She looked beautiful again. This is my 2nd experience with IMPEX, first was cosmetic elective work, 2nd time was damage I did to my car. Both times I was treated as a VIP. They have a newer/expanded campus with modern tech devoted to much higher end products than I drive. I take really good care of my cars, so I’m greatly disappointed anytime I suffer damage. I was lucky to discover Julio and his team the 1st time, and while my detail shop recommended a different body work shop, I knew where I was going as soon as I realized the damage done to my Lexus. My girlfriend recently brought her car in for repair of front end damage after an accident. I rarely put reviews online, but the service we received from Julio and the rest of his team was unparalleled. He provided his personal cell for our convenience. He provided us with some of the best espresso and pizza I've ever had in Tampa and walked my girlfriend through his garden on our arrival as she is burgeoning botanist. He offered to stay after closing when we needed to drop the car off at specified time to make a flight out. He provided an EXTREMELY reasonable estimate for his services and was absolutely "to the cent" true to his word on the final bill when I picked up the car. When I retrieved the vehicle, he went on his hands and knees inspecting the car to insure all the nicks and scratches had been buffed out and personally took care of one small scratch that hadn't previously been seen. The front end repair work performed was exceptionally well done. Recently I needed some delicate body work done on my Mustang, and of course there is only ONE place I would take my car to and that is to Julio and the family at Impex. On one of my visits to get an estimate for a repairs, Julio saw that my tire was leaking air, found a nail in it and repaired my tire and would not accept payment for it. Now, bear in mind, Impex G.A.E., LTD. is not a tire store, nor a general auto repair store, but a body shop damage repair business. They could have easily recommended a good tire shop to to fix my tire, but Julio just simply fixed my tire in about 5 minutes because that’s who they are. One of the finest groups of caring professionals assembled in one place that I’ve seen. And they make the best coffee!

I never thought I’d feel so good about a body shop but Julio and the boys at Impex made me happy that I brought my car there for repairs. I was in an accident in late October while on my way to Tampa International Airport. I was driving a 2015 VW Eos Convertible, a car that is no longer in production and it's my husband's "baby". The collision caused considerable damage to the driver's side front bumper and quarter panel, including the headlight. I couldn't drive the car due to the damage and am not familiar with the Tampa area. My insurance company recommended that the car be towed to Impex G.A.E. for repairs and I accepted their choice. Four days later, the car was repaired and ready for pickup. I ran into very heavy traffic getting from Bradenton to Tampa which caused me to arrive 30 minutes after their closing time. I was greeted in the lobby by Pepe, the original owner of the shop. He was great company and provided a cup of delicious Italian espresso for me to enjoy. A few minutes later, his son Julio who is the current owner of Impex, joined us in the lobby. Julio explained the work that was done and made me feel extremely comfortable. After owning my new GMC Yukon for only two weeks somebody ran in to the front end while in a parking lot while I was eating lunch. No note, just a banged up front end. My experience with Impex was beyond excellent! Quality of the job and customer service is the best I have seen in recent years! I am a extremely particular person with the things I own and would not settle for anything less than a factory quality paint job and repair. They worked seamlessly with progressive (who was actually at the shop) and made sure no corners where cut and the repair was perfect and that I was 100% satisfied. This is an family owned business that takes exceptional care of your vehicle. My vehicle had almost $4000 in damage and you can not tell that it ever happened. I noticed the grill was very slightly offset after I got my car back home. I stopped in the next day, without an appt during a busy time of day. Julio immediately came out, assessed what was wrong and what needed to get fixed. He pulled my truck around back and within 20 mins and a cup of coffee I was on my way. If you need body or paint work done, go to IMPEX. You will not find anything better in the Tampa area! I did my research. They are the best!! Thank you Impex!

Julio and his crew are the best! Few weeks ago, a little noise coming from the hood of my 2015 Chevy Equinox. I thought I should be fine since the car is still under the warranty, but I was wrong. I stopped by the dealership where I bought it but the technician claimed all parts they checked are working well and the noise is acceptable. I was frustrated and then turned to Julio for help. He quickly found out the noise comes from the compressor in the bottom and then took the car to the dealership himself to point it out and eventually have the dealership replaced the malfunction compressor with the new one. Julio is really a successful businessman with a big heart to help all his customers. All I can say is that I wish I could’ve known him earlier!

I was referred to their business by an insurance expert and met with them today. Julio knew everything that needed to be done before I got there. Then, I was having a small problem related to that same accident almost 2 years ago, so I went there and asked where to take it. Julio - the owner - took my keys, and told me to wait 10 minutes.
