I would imagine like most people, I've been to quite a few mechanics, they're like a box of chocolates you just never know what you're gonna get. With AutoWorks, you'll know exactly what you're getting, great service, experience, and an outstanding staff. Debra the manager was incredibly sweet and helpful. I'd say I had the best experience with/at a mechanic I've ever had. I went in for an oil change, and I thought I needed an alignment too, they told me my alignment was fine, instead of charging me and doing it anyways. Bonus points for an incredibly clean waiting lounge (good music too) and bathroom. I used to go to the Lexus dealership, I will be taking my car and my girlfriend's SUV here from this day forward.

I had my water pump replaced and coolant system worked on at Tampa AutoWorks. I own a 2014 Audi A6. The Audi dealership wanted to charge me over $3k with only a 1year warranty. Although Tampa Auto Works was a bit cheaper, they cover a 3yr/36k mile warranty. Tampa Auto Works had my car for a week but that is what I expected for the type of work being done. They took their time in getting it right and making sure everything was done correctly - this is what I appreciated. They even provided me a rental for the week at no cost. I visited the shop while they were working on my car and I saw the old unserviceable parts. The team was great in explaining what was being done to my car! They took exceptional car of my car. When they test drove the car, a pipe blew. They immediately ordered a new part and fix it. I’m in the military and have been stationed around the globe. I have taken my car in to several auto stores and can tell you that Tampa Auto Works is a professional place with integrity. Much appreciated it! Rob M

First of all, Debra is a joy to work with. She's knowledgeable on the inner workings of the shop and the technology in the office. Craig, my service advisor, was attentive and kept me in the loop on everything happening from the time I arrived until I was leaving. Lastly, all of the technicians there are good but Zac is a different breed of mechanics. You ask, is he that good. Is hell hot? Is water wet? Will a heart attack kill you. YES!!! He's that good. I drive a 2017 Audi Q7 Prestige and that baby hums now. I will be visiting them again in the near future for my Benz.

After doing a bit of research I saw this Auto Repair had great reviews (Reviews Rock!). I have to say the experience I had was extremely good! From arrival to pick up, Christian and the entire team was excellent . Took my Evoque for a reg oil change, air filter replacement and windshield wipers. Had an uber pick me up and drop me off and to top it with a cherry my car was cleaner then when I dropped it of! We are recent Tampa transplants and had no established repour with auto technicians here. Our 2013 Range Rover Evoque had a catastrophic failure in town when the crank shaft pulley / harmonic balancer flew off, rending the car undrivable. I called many import service technicians before speaking with Debra at Autoworks. She was very transparent regarding their professional standard and very sympathetic to our disposition. I agreed to tow the car to their service center. Micheal was our service advisor, he is very experienced, trustworthy, and reliable He went out of his way to assist us, even providing a loaner vehicle so we were not out the cost of renting a car. Micheal was very effective at quickly establishing a plan with estimate and is very active at advocating for the customer while being liaison between the customer and technician. After the estimate for repairs was established and they had the green light, a repair half the import service centers I called said they would not even attempt, was executed flawlessly and the cost ended up being less than the estimate (which shows honesty and transparency). This place is better than going to a dealership service center as far as diagnosis and repair because they don't have an inflated cost structure like dealerships yet their technicians and service advisors (especially Micheal and Zackery) have the same specialty equipment to service imported (and domestic) vehicles. These technicians have a combined extensive knowledge with training and certification and they execute flawlessly with integrity. By the way our repair came with a 3 year 36k mile warranty that can be invoked anywhere in the country.

Originally I went to a local Audi dealer for service. Later I took my Audi to AutoWorks for an oil change and inspection. It was the same quality of service for less, so I returned recently for another oil change. I'm planning to have future checkups there. Over all amazing experience. From the diagnostic, talking through what is recommended and they also did such an amazing job working with us while dealing with a warranty from another company. The notes alone were detailed enough to not have any questions on top of the constant communication and updates. Truly friendly people and have your best interest in mind. Had to have my transmission, flywheel, and diff replaced. Like I said, they communicated what is wrong, what will happen (specific parts and what other shops would be providing to help I.e. transmission rebuild), and even gave a within $20 estimate for the final before all was even done. They don't do tire replacements and I have a flat so that's unfortunate. I was very happy with their oil change price and with their customer service and with their email summary of work completed. I'll definitely be back for my next oil change. Under $40 for full synthetic 5 quarts is tough to beat.

I looked for a shop to work on my 2012 VW Van for months before stumbling upon Autoworks. It is certainly a gem and I'm grateful to have ended up at this shop. It is quite a drive for me, but it is well worth it. Deborah and Christian were amazing through the entire process of finding parts that were not easy to procure. My van runs amazingly now and I could not be happier. Since having my van worked on, I have also had my elderly mom's car repaired at AutoWorks as well. We are both very grateful for this shop. He was very professional. Took my information about my car and set up an appointment for me to bring my car in. When I brought my car in, I met Bill and Debra. I dropped it off yesterday and got it back at the end of the day washed and running great!! No more oil leak. Thank you guys so much. As a young woman I always always get car shops trying to charge me extra for things I don’t need (what they don’t know is my dad owned a towing business and knew all the mechanics in the city growing up so I know all the tricks). I always have to defend myself and show my knowledge to get any respect. Here I didn’t have to do that. They did the oil change as I asked, and gave me the recommendations for my mileage (which is a standard). They got me an Uber back so I wouldn’t have to wait and setup and Uber when my car was ready. I’m not a big review guy but I felt compelled to give Autoworks of Tampa the praise they deserve!! My 2016 BMW 2 Series recently came out of warranty and started having issues. From the first phone call to the last pickup of my vehicle, the service has been nothing but perfect. Debra was so nice and answered all my questions. When she knew I needed a car she offered me a very clean and nice loaner. They fixed and repaired my car at a very fair price and I couldn’t be more happy with the work that was done. Customer service like this is very rare these days and even though it’s a little bit of a drive for me, I won’t take my car aanywhere else going forward. They have a new customer for life! Was skeptical as I always am giving my car to anyone. I do all my own work. Have worked at multiple car dealerships, I know how shops operate. Towed my car to them two weeks sho while I was at work. They gave me an update when they had the car. Had it in a day later with an estimate. With my leak, I assumed the worst, a $4k rack assembly, they called and said it was two hoses for $371. Waited a few days for that and got a call that the repair didn’t fix the problem and that they wouldn’t charge me for it as the secondary repair would be over $1k. I approved the repair and picked the car up last night. They probably rushed the tech as I was getting impatient but the quality of the work was great. Even though it was just a few lines, the car feels way more stable and safe on the road. Through the whole process, they kept me updated through calls or texts. Even offered a loaner car when they thought they may not be able to finish it this week but they did! And anytime I wanted an update and Debra, who I was primarily dealing with, was busy, the other team members like mark made me feel like a valued customer instead of another pay check. Will definitely go back if I have any issues. This shop will treat you with the respect and honesty that the rest of automotive industry has lost over the years.

The staff I dealt with were all extremely friendly. They even offered to call me an Uber home after I dropped my car off. I went in for an oil change and scheduled maintenance, which ended up being a long list of items. Since they are an independent business, their prices are naturally higher than if you went to a chain like Tires Plus. However, I am willing to bet the quality of work is better and I like supporting local, independent businesses. They also text you a link to all the recommended repairs and make sure you are ok with everything before they do them - very handy. I took off one star because my car took 2.5 hours longer than they estimated bc they were waiting for a part - these things happen.

Had a very good experience with these guys. My 2011 Mini Cooper started misfiring on the way to work (I didn't know what it was at the time.) I got the car to work, started Googling for a mechanic, and picked them based on reviews. I called and they gave me a free tow to their shop. There was a diagnostic fee that I could have lived without, but I also want the problem to be fully determined and they were up front about it. Fair price on parts and labor, and they even came under the price they quoted me on the phone. Communication was top notch throughout the process. They had my car a couple of days and offered to pay for Uber rides to and from work, which I took them up on. That made life a lot easier since I live in St. Pete.

I've always assumed that mechanics were shady, and would always try to get the most from me without actually fixing my car. My experience with Bob and Don was the complete opposite. They were able to handle all my mechanic issues, even the very technical ones that usually can only be handled by a dealership. They went above and beyond during every step of the process. Even the invoicing was digital and accessible via an online portal that gave me a break down of all the work. I brought a 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLK to Auto Works for a B Service message on 11/13/2020. Bob and his team diagnosed the issue and then contacted me to fully explain the repairs and cost. They identified an engine mount replacement will eventually be needed and reset the message. Also provided was a complete end-to-end inspection and an extensive write up of the current maintenance status. Nothing was pushed - but rather it was a sharing of information. I could not be more pleased with the customer treatment. Bob even offered to return the car washed and vacuumed — thanks! I highly recommend Auto Works!

I've got a 2015 Chrysler 300 and was told only the dealer can work with the AC system because of a newer refrigerant "1234yf". Well the dealer told me that I was "leaking everywhere" and needed to spend $2,200 to have repairs. Not having the money I called around and finally found Auto Works. They're set up with the latest equipment and training and I spent less than $350.00 to have 52 degree air! Don and the staff are amazing. He got me an Uber ride home and washed my car after it was repaired. In this day and age... amazing to find this kind of honesty and service. Highly recommend!!!

I have a 1994 BMW sedan that normally we do the work on ourselves. However, being old, it developed some major issues that we simply didn’t have the time or energy to fix on our own. We took it to Bob and left it with him while we went abroad for a couple weeks. The car now runs better than it has in years and feels 10 years newer. It was also detailed for free, so it looks great too. Bob worked with us on keeping on budget and avoided a high-cost replacement item by trying out a cheaper solution first. Everything is broken down clearly on the receipt and he went over everything again when we picked up. He kept us up to date with the status while we were out of town without going overboard on contacting, so we were kept in the loop but still able to focus on enjoying our vacation. I’d highly recommend taking your vehicle (particularly European models) to Autoworks for repairs and maintenance. If they can handle my old E36, they can handle anything!

Yampa was the technician that did the oil change on my car. He let me look under it after handing me a flashlight to see for myself that there weren’t any oil leaks or any other work that needed to be addressed soon. The shop is very trustworthy and friendly. I took my BMW in for brakes and an oil service. After the service was completed I was not 100% satisfied with the brakes they where a little soft from the OEM pads. I was worried to take it back, that they would say the brakes where fine and it was just me needing to get used to the new brakes. After they took a look they, gave me a rental, and said they where going to replace all the brakes with a brand that where closer to the original OEM pads. They explained that the OEM style pads would not last as long and produce more brake dust (BMW performance) this is the style of driving that I am used to. When I got the car back the brakes where perfect 100% satisfies.

A good business is one that's run fairly well and generally leaves its customers satisfied. A great business is one that acknowledges a mistake (which inevitably happen at any business) and will move Heaven and Earth to fix it (which is reflected in their current 4.8 star rating). Autoworks falls into the "great business" category. To make a long story short, there was a mistake in the estimate for some work to be done to my car that wasn't disclosed until after the car was repaired and the bill was received. In addition, my car had failed shortly after receiving the initial service from Autoworks. I had discussed with multiple 3rd parties and determined the failure was not caused by Autoworks. Yet Autoworks wrote off a substantial portion of the bill, including the tow, to fix this issue NOT caused by them. They were also very apologetic about the error in the estimate and really went above and beyond to make things right. In addition to excellent service, they also offer (a) rides home after dropping your car off (b) online/digital invoicing/estimates, including pictures of the areas to repair and (c) a very clean shop overall. Overall, I would 100% recommend Autoworks. PS - perhaps a little unclear from their marketing, but they do both European and non-European cars. They just specialize in European cars.
