This body shop truly cares about their customers. My car got sideswiped in a hit and run. My insurance directed me to a body shop in south county that gave me a horrible experience so I took my car to West County Auto Body instead. They were the kindest staff to work with. I feel they truly sympathized with me and the experience I had. They were quick to get my car in and fix the damage and did such an amazing job. It was so easy and stress-free for me. I'm so glad I took my car there because my car looks brand new, like I just drove it off the lot! I can't thank them enough :)

We dropped off our much-loved BMW for bodywork on the front bumper. It was a great experience from start to finish. Working together with our rep from the insurance company, we kept well-informed about the process and when the work would be completed. When we went to pick up the car, we were delighted with the results. Mind you that this job required cameras, sensors, and other electrical components that needed to be replaced. We have had the car back for about two weeks, and no glitches whatsoever, and the quality of the bodywork is top-notch—excellent customer service and highly recommended.

They are great! I have been going here since I moved to STL. They are very straightforward with you about your vehicle's condition. Also, their prices are very reasonable. Dobb's estimated a $1200 fix to my brakes, and West County Auto did the same repair and more for $425. I will always be bringing my car to West County Auto!

West County Auto is a big outdated business. It hasn't remodeled in the last 20 plus years. Personnel are climbing over each other. But I have to say they are very busy and customers keep coming back for routine and body repair work.

West County Auto Body is a full service repair facility. The owner, Ron, has forgotten more about cars than most other mechanics will ever know. He is also the most honest man I know. If Ron says this is the repair your car needs, you can take it to the bank. He and his employees are the only people I trust to work on my car. Also, West County's prices are reasonable and they never perform unnecessary work. You will not regret trusting Ron and his staff to work on your vehicle. (BTW many of the other reviews mention Rob. My mentioning Ron is not a typo; Ron is a different person, but Rob is also great!)

My car was damaged by a landscaping truck and it was substantial damage done to my passenger front end side. The body work done was exceptional. It looked brand new! The front light was fixed and the repairman did some extra buffing to make the paint work blend smoothly on the entire side. I am beyond elated with the results and my car is driving with no issues. Top notch repair job! In addition the staff was friendly and responsive. I was elated when the job was finished earlier than expected. Rob is the best!

Very impressed! I selected this shop for some front end bumper repair prior to seeing their awesome Google Reviews, but now understand why they have so many 5-star reviews! No only were they super fast, but it appears they both waxed the entire exterior of my car and did a full interior detail! I was pleasantly surprised when I got in my vehicle to drive away. Oh, and the bottle of touch up paint they used for the repair was an impressive extra touch I had never seen elsewhere. Keep up the great work Rob & crew!

Simply Clean Laundry Service

Wonderful experience with West County. This was our second time taking a car there and I was honestly blown away, and that's not easy to do. The work they performed was amazing and to top it off, my car was washed and vacuumed. It looked fantastic. I will definitely be back.

When my daughter needed her car repaired after backing into a retaining wall, I told her to take it to West County. They did an awesome job on the repair. When we went to pick it up, I noticed as ding in the right rear quarter panel that was not there (at least I thought it wasn't). The staff at the shop took care of the dent for us with PDR and did not charge us. Moreover, her battery was dead from working on the car or it was just old and they put a new one in the car for her at no charge. That is customer service!!

I got comparable quotes from three auto body shops and decided to go with West County Auto Body because Rob was so helpful and listened to my concerns. When I picked up my car they not only replaced my door but matched the paint perfectly with the rest of the car. They also buffed out my yellow headlights and polished all the black trim on my car! Recently I wrecked my car, my friend Justin had mechanical work done on his BMW at West County Auto Body and recommended them. I took my car to the shop and the friendly staff helped return my car to perfect condition. My wife is a very picky person and after she had some hail damage Rob personally handled the insurance claim and returned her car faster than we expected. From my experience at other shops the owner does not get personally involved in customers cars like we have come to expect from West County Auto Body. After the good job they did on our cars we have returned for mechanical work and had the same great experience. Was referred by a friend, has to get my car's undercarriage and windshield repaired. They quoted decent prices. The job was very well done on the undercarriage, but there was an issue with the windshield installation. Rob contacted me when he learnt i was not happy with the windshield repair, re-installed it again w/o any extra charges. Clearly shows they care for customer satisfaction. My wonderful wife decided to go Deer hunting using only her car about a week ago. The good news is, she got her 1st deer!!! The bad news is, she got her 1st deer. The car was operational so I drove around to a couple places to get estimates like any responsible adult would do. The 1st place I went to was West county Auto Body. Their initial estimate was around $630. I then went to 5 Star Auto Body in Arnold. The estimate they gave me was $1,800 and proceeded to tell me that it could be a lot more once they got in there and started working (which I knew could be the case anywhere). I was so blown away at an $1,100 difference in estimates, I drove all the way back to West County Auto Body to ask Rob why the estimates were so far apart. He proceeded to explain that instead of attempting to fix parts, 5 Star Auto Body just wanted to replace everything resulting in the price difference. I made that drive, drove all those extra miles due to the experience and customer service that I received when I showed up the 1st time. I know little to nothing about cars, but that doesn't mean that I want to be taken advantage of. Needless to say that I went with West County Auto Body to have my wife's car fixed up. All said and done it cost me $815, there was a 2nd part that needed to be ordered and replaced and due to the accident, the car needed to re-aligned. Even with the extra part and alignment, my after tax total was still $1,000 less than the estimate that I received from 5 Star Auto Body in Arnold AND they even gave the car a good wash. If you need body work done to your vehicle, make sure you go to this place 1st, then go to your other places for additional estimates, you will not be disappointed with the price or the quality of work. Google only lets me give 5 stars, but this place deserves 10 stars. I will be returning to West County Auto Body when the weather warms back up to have them replace the windshield on the same car as their quote for that was the lowest price I received after calling over 10 different places. This will be my permanent body work place for as long as I live in the St. Louis Area. Thank you West County Auto Body for making sure that my wife has a safe car to drive. Thank you for everything,

Very fast and flawless work. They dealt with the insurance company for me and all I had to do was wait for my truck to be done. I expected a turn around time of 3 or 4 weeks as most insurance claim body repairs take in my past experience. This was different. Just barely over a week. Not to mention this was a tow truck that required specialty parts and lettering on the door. If they are that fast and flawless with my old tow truck, imagine how they must be with passenger cars. I'd put 10 stars if Google would let me!

I talked to 15 auto body shops in the St. Louis area to have aftermarket rocker panels painted for my car. I got quotes between $400-1500, which I thought was absurd. I ended up taking the rocker panels into West county Auto Body, where I met some extremely friendly staff, and was quoted $250, they told me it may very on actual paint time. I got the invoice when I picked them up four days later and was only Charged $246 based on time. I was extremely surprised to pay less than I was quoted. I couldn't be happier with the quality and value. I'd recommend this shop to anyone in the area.

West County Auto body is one of the top rated body shops in the STL Porsche community and I'd recommend any person needing auto body work to use them. I had previous work done at Pro-tech in Ellisville which was rated high but I had a terrible experience with them, the owner in particular is not a nice person. I'm not super picky but there were lots of minor issues he expected me to live with and they should have been fixed. After the first repair I hit a deer in my Porsche 911 and it damaged the fender, bumper cover, hood, and light. I was expecting to have to go back and forth about through shotty work and wait 6 weeks again which seemed to become the norm and dread it. I went with West County Auto Body and got the car back in only 3 weeks and the gaps are perfect everywhere! The car looks new from the fenders to the front. Ron that I worked with was very enthusiastic and had great knowledge of auto body. I highly recommend Porsche owners and anyone with a car they really care about use this shop!

I had my car fixed there for some body damage. The repair was done perfectly. The looks like new now. Its a very small repair which costed me around $200, so i got it fixed without claiming any insurance. They gave me a quote for 3 hours labor, but since i have a dash camera installed on the car, i could see that they have only worked on the car for about an hour. Maybe thats how everybody charges for the repairs, but I feel that they should have charged me for 2 hours atleast and not 3. I am ok with it and did not create any discussions about it with them because their hourly rate is reasonable. Its $62 compared to dealership's $110. That's why i dont go to dealerships ever. But with these people charging for more hours, comes to the same point and same price.

Fast, friendly and easy. Needed windshield wipers reseated, they charged half an hour of labor, only $52.50. Ron then said wait let me scrape that tape residue crap off your window. Which he then did in about 20 seconds free of charge. Great people.

I generally dont write review's but the expertise of this companies service made me to write this review, My friend's car front bumper and light got loosen , we went there to repair it after booking an appointment on Saturday, the Guy repaired it with his hand by pushing bumper inside and adjusting within 5 minutes, he said he dont take money for this very small task. We offered him $100 as an gift price, but he refused to take it, they are really good in auto service and repair. Thanks a lot West County auto repair.

I had used West Coutny a few years back and had to use them again when I was involved in another accident. I normally wouldn't write a review but everybody was so nice and took the time to walk me through the whole process, even the little things, like suggesting and then helping with the process of getting new car seats for my children since they were in the car during the time of the accident. In todays times where everybody is so busy and can be "rude" they were truly the nicest people and so incredibly helpful. Even changed my oil and rotated my tires for me while it was there getting fixed! I don't normally do reviews but this one was well worth it and well deserved. Thank you guys!!

It's always a friendly environment where everyone is ready to help and answer any questions you may have about anything vehicle related. Having my autobody work done on my 2005 BWM at West County Autobody was a pleasure. I am not mechanical and find having any work done on my cars unpleasant. How often can you say you actually felt good about work done on your car? It was so nice to work with Amy who was able to answer most questions and whens he could not she found the right person right way. I did not want to put much money into a 14 year old car and they found a safe way to repair the car that looked great at 20% of the "new" fix other places suggested. Thanks!

I used West County Auto to replace the windshield on my car. First, when I called to get a quote, they told me that there was a coupon out on Groupon that was set to expire that day. When I told him that I was not aware of the coupon, he said that he would give me that price anyways. After agreeing on the price and setting the appointment time, date and location, I had to reschedule the appointment numerous times due to conflicts with my schedule. Every time that I called to reschedule, they were always cooperative and very accomodating to reschedule me. Once the technician was able to come out, he was very polite and professional and was willing to take the time to answer several questions we had. I will deffinitely do business with them again!! If more shops operated like this place, people wouldnt be afraid to take their cars in for service. They were knowledgeable and tried giving me advice even before i got the car to their shop. And when they got it, they explained clearly what had happened, and what had caused it to happen so i could avoid it in the future. Even when it came to parts they didnt try to push something i didnt need on me. Overall, I'd say my experience with them was immensely positive and though I dont want more car problems, I know where to go if I cant handle it.

The owner is just as obsessive about doing the job right as I am about my car being repaired right. Recently , I had a dent in my new nissan altima 2.5s , and was looking to get it fixed , I've got quotes from several auto body shops , but nothing was as low as compared to others ,Rob understood my situation and promised me too fix the dent and make it look like it (dent) never happened , he promised me the quality of work and offered life time warranty on the work , and for work with lifetime warranty from a geico certified which cost me bout $500 more , his turn around was amazing , he fixed my car as fast anyone can , and when i saw my car after the repair , i was almost shocked to see the quality of work , he made it look like as it never happened , and for that price, its a best deal one could ever get.No wonder his place is crowded with car to be fixed.
