Fantastic service! I've taken my car to them twice and have had great experiences both times. The first time I knew I needed a starter and they had me in and out within a few hours. No debating what I needed, no trying to tack on other services, no nonsense and no games. The second time I needed diagnostic work on my front end and they were great then, too! My quotes were pennies more than what I'd expect from a shade tree mechanic for each service & my diagnostic was solid; it has been a week and my issues are completely resolved. Ten years of car ownership in several states and this is the first time I've felt like I can trust my mechanic not to try and take me for a ride every time I show up. If you're sick of feeling like you're being preyed upon like a customer in a car dealership every time you need car repairs (single ladies, am I right?!), PLEASE bring your car here. You'll be treated like an intelligent being & won't walk away broke & anxious.

Heard they are missed in the city previous locale' Office is well run from check in greeting; update via text service offering two way communication that is fairly quick; quick bids texted....to the head of mechanic operations chasing and ordering parts making office dually efficient allowing time for their fine team of mechanics.

I took my car there last week for a suspected oil leak. Turns out my oil cap wasn't secure. They performed multiple test to make sure there wasn't a problem. The machanic was very professional and honest. They only charged for the oil change that I desperately needed. These guys are top notch!!!!

I found Spirit One because they were the top ranked garage in the local STL magazine. Mike and everyone at Spirit One are excellent! My wife came here for an oil change and they performed extra inspection services at no charge. Now we're getting ready to move cross country and Spirit One completed a pre-towing inspection with no charge either. They're super easy to make appointments with, very accommodating and helpful, and they're friendly when you're in the shop. Spirit One is a 10/10 and I would recommend anyone come here for their auto needs.

I needed my air conditioning system vacuumed and refilled. They got me scheduled within two days. Most other mechanics were a week out scheduling. This is the second time I’ve visited spirit. Fair pricing, quick repair, and friendly people. After a few nice conversations I’ve come to find out the owner David is a extremely upstanding individual that takes great pride in his business. David and his crew are super nice to everyone. They even have a donation area for the local food bank.

I’ve gone to spirit one several times over the last few months and I refuse to go anywhere else for my car. Lenny and his team are upfront about what does (or doesn’t) need to be fixed at honest prices. I’ve used spirit one for a few repairs on my car but they also do state safety and emissions inspections here. I walked in and out in 15 minutes unlike bigger companies that make you make appointments days in advance and then you still wait hours. His team even went as far as explaining the process of getting a new license plate to me - something the DOR and DMV were too busy to do. It’s so hard to find nice mechanics who don’t try and scam you these days, and spirit one is above and beyond.

The lovely St louis weather has been hard on our vehicles, mine being no exception. My blower motor for my HVAC system went out. With pending winter storm, Spirit One Owners were very accommodating to schedule me an appointment and discuss dropping my vehicle off. I was able to schdule an appointment the following day. This shop did an amazing job and had my HVAC system up and working again. I have never had such great customer service and automotive services. Definitely recommend their services. I have used this business several times for towing my classic car. They are always extra careful when doing so. Well she needed more than to be towed this time! I absolutely trusted them to do the huge amount of work that was needed. They looked her over and called me with a list of what and why things needed to be fixed. It is not easy to get parts for a 52 year old car but they made it happen. After fixing what needed to be done another problem was found. Had they not been knowledgeable in how this car was supposed to drive and in particular shift gears it could have been easily missed. I picked my car up a few days ago and it runs better than it ever has! Extremely professional, knowledgeable and an excellent value for services. I will absolutely use them from this point forward for all of my vehicles and have and will continue to highly recommend them to anyone needing repairs or towing. Mike was great to work with and kept me informed during the whole process and I was confident that my car was being well taken care of.

I went to the Gravois Rd location for the August brake special and it was a great experience all around! New pads, rotors, fluid and the calipers were actually cleaned, along with an oil change using Mobil oil! The technician (Michael P.) took great care and attention to detail from everything I could tell as well as checking my A/C and vacuuming the driver's side. No frills and no b.s. from anyone. Only thing I could say that's critical is the parking lot is a little small at this location but that's no big complaint on my end. I would recommend and will return here for my business

I decided to try out Spirit One because of all the positive things I had read about them on Nextdoor. Someone had requested a recommendation for an auto repair shop, and many praised Spirit One. I found the praise to be well-earned. The work was done in the time period they expected, and was reasonably priced. The mechanic was also very helpful in evaluating some noises in the steering. I have a new go-to auto repair shop.
