They we're super helpful on the phone, especially when I sounded like I was slightly confused. And when we showed up the 1st time, they ended up kicking us out after they closed. We weren't entirely sure on what we were doing on taking off the part we needed. But the second time we showed up. We had them remove the part for us. And my visit was so much easier and felt like it took no time at all.

First visit! It's a junkyard, so I can't really say that it was PRETTY!!🤪 But, for what it is... It was professional, the gentleman at the booth was personable and courteous. And thank you dear MR. BUBBA for taking your time and energy to show me the Handy Johnny on the spot; which I must say was quite surprisingly, and extremely clean! Especially for being where it was. While the yard doesn't look all that great it certainly is nice to get a part that is needed at a decent price. Others think they manufactured the part themselves at the price they charge. You will be thinking isn't it coming from a junk car? The guys are ready to assist you when you need it too. I like that they respect the fact that people don't have a lot of money which is why they are coming there anyway. Great place, nice respectable staff.

Honestly they would get a 5 star. I just depends on who is working the booth. I've been in many times. Know by name by some. Others not so much. The gentleman at the gate running security. Is a good guy for sure. I called today about a specific part that was unique. Told they had it, told a price. I said I was on my way. I get there and treated like dirt because I could inspect the part without buying it. Not an issue but no returns????? I was told it was in a warehouse and they didn't have time to deal with me. I'll try again on another day when the jerk at the front window isn't there and the regular guy is there to help you out. All I wanted was to smell/look at the fluid in the pan. He said they weren't going to bring it over at all. I'm a mechanic for the postal service. I usually get jokes that the mailman is there it get parts for the delivery trucks..... Not today. I had cash in hand guys. Don't treat your good customers like the bad ones, or you are having a bad day.... God bless.

This place is free to enter and they always nice to me, when 1 day they IL junkyard accused me of stealing a fuse that was already in my tool bag b4 enter they yard. A different person checked my bag leaving 20 minutes later. I told ask the guy right there. This in a lil tool bag already. I don't need to steal nothing I had over $1600 in my pocket. Awww it was big fall out for Antenna. Left the Eastside came over to Riverside. Dude told all U can have that. Let me have the inside Antenna cable for no charge. I love this place.

Riverside Salvage is my favorite of all the St. Louis area self-service yards. No admission charge, generally very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and most importantly, they don't nickel-dime you to death if you bring up a wheelbarrow full of parts (don't try that at PnP). Volume discount pricing! Very fast turnover of vehicles in the yard; if they don't have what you want today, chances are they will next week. By all accounts, the parking lot is a real drag, and be ready for lots of mud if it's wet out, but other than that, Riverside is the best around by far.

RIverside Salvage is a self service auto salvage yard. They have most common manufactutured cars. They have a wide selection and the vehicles are picked clean, so a better chance of finding your parts! Admission is free parking is not the easiest but they have free parking the staff is friendly the yard is a little messy but that's what you expect. The parts or a little bit more expensive than others but cheaper then some.. Overall a good experience
