Excellent service. Will most definitely be a repeat customer. Although, hopefully not soon. I needed a new motor and transmission. It's hard to find anyone to do either much less both at the same time. I found them from a Google search. After I made the deposit for the new motor and transmission, they gave me a date to drop it off and said it would take a week. I dropped it off Monday morning, and it was ready Friday at 1pm. My truck drives like new and has a 100k warranty. It's still old and beat up, but it's runs great! Thank you so much!

I took my Explorer in to Epic last week to have the seat heater replaced in the drivers seat on a recommendation from co-workers. The shop was surprisingly neat and clean and made me trust them even more. Also when the actual repair took longer than originally thought they still cut me a deal on the labor rate to earn my continued business.- Well I wanted to post a second review but being challenged on how to do so, all I could do was edit my existing review for a previous visit. These guys know their stuff and cared enough about the job they did to admit when a part came in that wasn't right, asking me to bring it back the next day. They are honest and very customer service oriented.

I have no complaints whatsoever. The staff was respectful, friendly, and down to earth. The facility is pretty clean and the service was great. It's refreshing to find a place that actually fixes the problem instead of selling you stuff that you probably won't need just so they can make a few bucks off of you. I drove from Granite City, IL to check them out and it was worth the drive. I'll definitely be coming back if I need anything done to my car stereo.

I was driving through St. Louis, and my AC compressor unit went out. This problem caused the belt that drives the alternator to burn off. Limped my way to Epic Automotive, and they found out the problem as soon as I got there. They were booked for the day, but since I was 150 miles from home, they got me in right away. Extremely friendly guys, and were very professional. I cannot express how much I appreciated them helping me out. Absolutely would recommend Epic to everyone.

I should have written a review sooner, but, I procrastinated. My husband and I took our vehicle into Epic Automotive because the reviews were fantastic (we needed some work done). These guys were honest, and their level of work and experience was something not easily found in the middle of the city! They aren't out to take advantage of anyone, and the quality was wonderful. Epic Automotive is my number one trusted mechanic in St. Louis! The owner John puts his heart in this locally owned business, and cares that his customers leave highly satisfied. They go above and beyond. The lead mechanic, Matt, is very thorough and if comes across something of concern (sometimes even with pictures) he will let you know the severity of the issue or a timeline to pay attention to. I absolutely trust that they are not going to sell me something that I don't need. The best analogy that I have since many people associate "taking your car to the shop" with "going to the doctor/dentist": GREAT BEDSIDE MANOR! John and Matt are both experts when it comes to electrical work (i.e.) stereos, 12 volt, speakers, amps, subs, rear view cameras, lighting, alarms, and keyless entry. They do a better job than the specialty auto sound shops! I have been driving the same 1999 Jeep Wrangler for almost 16 years, and I don't think it would still be on the road today if it was not for them. With their trusted scheduled maintenance I think that we can keep her on the road for another 16 years. I have found that they are very knowledgeable and informative about how to keep my vehicle safe and well maintained while keeping within my budget. BEST FULL SERVICE SHOP!

In case anyone was thinking of another establishment to trust your car with, don't! Epic not only is the only place my entire family takes their vehicles, but the only place any of my friends do as well! Let me highlight a recent experience. Our story begins with tax season... The time to spend way to much money for performance parts for my car. I decided to change my headers my self.. How bad could it be I asked my self? BAD... After 9 hours of struggle busing, I gave in. I still had two bolts left to put in, and a terrible exhaust leak. So I decided to make a phone call. Just one cause I had my heart set on the place. Epic.. John the owner answered the phone in his usual cheerful voice and listened as I poured my frustrations out to him. He not only listened intently but offered words of encouragement in my trying times. Fast forward to me pulling my car in, Matt his tech greeted me with enthusiasm. I know deep down if his experience with my car was anything like mine that would quickly fade like these warm temps. Not even close... Not only did I get a call an hour later that my car was complete, but the price he charged me was a mile cheaper than any other shop in town would have. Now this is not my only excellent experience with John and the team.. I could go on for hours where John has dropped what he was doing to ensure that I came first. Do not waste your time with anyone else.. Epic is the only home you need to know for your car!

Great place!!! My husband's came here to get a spindle replaced on his Benz. He also came to fix his wheel bearing (they were the only ones that could do it). My wheels started to vibrate and they were nice enough to pull it in and look at it. Come to find out, the previous shop we were at put the wrong lug nuts on the wheel. They were nice enough to fix it. That could've gone south quick, and I had my baby in the car. They are awesome!!! We'll continue to bring both of our Mercedes here!!! Thanks!!

These guys are good. I have a new accord sport. It came with a weak head unit and speakers. I installed new front and rear speakers but was a little apprehensive to install an amp and small sub myself. I started the installation only to realize the job was beyond my capabilities. I decided to get help. I was looking for someone I could trust with an honest solution not just trying to sell me more equipment. I used the internet found epic near my work, read everyone's reviews and decided to take a chance. Matt, Nick and John did a great job of listening to my issue. I dropped off my vehicle in the morning and they were finished just after noon. Professional install, fixed a couple of issues that I did wrong and the system sounds great. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone.

My Epic boys have always taken care of me, they earned a customer for life the day I pulled up after another Auto shop down the street had messed something up in my car that they were SUPPOSED to be fixing, I stopped by Epic on a whim hoping they knew something that the other shop didn't and THEY DID! they actually knew how to fix my car imagine that, mechanics that actually know how to fix cars :-) I've been loyal to them ever since, I wont take my car anywhere else simply because I don't trust anybody else with my baby. I never have to question what they say, they never try to tell me something is wrong with my car that actually isn't just so they can make money, I trust them completely which is very important especially for a young 20 something year old girl who literally knows NOTHING about cars. I haven't had a car break down on me in the last 4 years and I credit it all to my boys at Epic.

These are honest mechanics. Have taken my car here exclusively for the last two and a half years. They have always been willing to answer any questions I had about the function of a part, whether I actually needed it, and whether it was still under warranty from past work they had done. Example: They diagnosed a check engine light in August 2015, found a pinhole in exhaust at the flex pipe and graphed the O2 sensor (~$90). Today, March 6 2017, they diagnosed a check engine light on the same car and told me I needed a new O2 sensor (~$250 with parts and labor). When they went to replace it, they noticed a hole at the flex pipe; they said that fix would only cost me $80 (a level 1 diagnostic). When I asked if it was related to the previous hole-- they checked their records and--solely on the basis that it /could/ have been related and so /might/ be under warranty-- they only charged me $26 (minimum diagnostic fee). They easily could've taken me for $250+, but these mechanics are honest, generous, and seek to do everything they can to help the customer from all my experiences with them. Check them out for yourself! I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Off a recommendation I ventured over to Epic and I can tell you the crew there looked out for more better than I could have possibly hoped for. From helping me understand exactly what the problem was and breaking it down for me in layman's terms, to actually giving me affordable and realistic options, Epic proves they want to genuinely help you do what is right for you and your wallet. Amazing integrity. I took my car in & asked John to fix the windows & a tail light. All 4 of my power-windows had, at some point, quit working, and started working again; they were taking turns & when it came to the driver's window not working, I'd had enough. But, once the tail light was replaced, the windows were all working. So, he DIDN'T run the $100 diagnostic on a problem that no longer existed. Windows are still working great, several months later. That was the 3rd time John had gone out of his way (and reduced his income) to save me money, and provide honest service. This is now my auto-repair-shop for life.

From the very first time that I visited Epic Automotive, I knew that there was a difference. I had just been taken advantage of by another automotive shop, not even half of a mile away. Needless to say, I was immediately distrusting and apprehensive. I received an oil change and a few days later, I noticed a loud noise coming from the car.
