This was my 1st time using this place. Its an excellent place. The Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The guys in the shop was very quick and accurate to doing the work needed done and gone above what is expected. I loved their compliment that Everything was in excellent condition and clean all needed was a polish, I never had a compliment like that before and It just made my day much better. I love this place and will be taking my Escape there when I need work done. Excellent place. They get you in and out and if need something else, they will let you know. Even if they have to call to let you know what is going on with the vehicle. Very Excellent Place. I have no Bad Reviews to give them all Good Reviews! Great Job Team Automotive!! Love the Name--It holds to what it means TEAM!.

Just moved to the area so I was a little anxious taking my car into unfamiliar body shop. Team Automotive was maybe the best I’ve ever felt leaving an auto body shop. Their team was friendly, considerate, prompt, and thorough. They gave me descriptive and considerate feedback via text of their inspection and recommendations. I was expecting my car to be in the shop for a week— they had it done Tuesday after I brought it in Monday morning. I am very pleased with their customer service and being open and honest with me about my vehicle. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in Sioux Falls area with their car needs.

I was in a bind, needed to have my truck towed to a garage. I went on Yelp and Team Automotive had 5 stars, I took a chance. And I have found the mechanics I've been looking for since I moved to Sioux Falls. Katie was fabulous. I've had my truck in to them twice now and if I need work done again, I'll go back. Everyone was kind, respectful, and interesting (skateboarders in Sioux Falls - who knew!) My old truck with 145k miles on it just might make it to 200k now. It runs better now than it has in years. Best of all, I've had it back for nearly 3 weeks and no leaks. When you are new to an area and far from family, it means even more to find a group of hard working people who care about their customers, not just their vehicles, the people. Thank you, Katie, Zach, Christian, and Lee. If I got the last name wrong, apologies. And thanks to all of the people who worked on my old truck and made a horrible day a lot better.

I couldn't have broke down and found a better garage to put my starter in my van. Everyone was so friendly and courteous and went beyond what was expected of them. I would recommend this place to anyone that needed any kind of auto repair. There is even a Ramada Inn across the street from them if you needed to spend the night. I would give them 10 Stars

Set up an appointment for an oil change and was able to get in the next day. They got the vehicle right in and were done with the oil change and multi-point inspection in under 45 minutes. Great service with no pressure to do other maintenance.

I was 1000 miles from home and 1200 miles from my destination in a blizzard when my breaks went out at 8pm in the evening. I was able to find these guys, thankfully!!! I messaged them that night, they responded before they were even open, said yes we will help!! They were wonderful with communication, I’ve been in the industry for over 25 years and appreciate that! They got me in right away, knowing I was stuck from out of town, they could have sold me anything they wanted, but no..Brad my mechanic inspected my vehicle and told me exactly what I needed and nothing more…they didn’t try to take advantage of my situation…I felt it appropriate to tip the mechanic, and yet he wouldn’t take it!! Seriously this place is a class act! They were great with communication, gave me different options to pay, and had me back on the road again in no time…all during a blizzard!!! Guys this is the place!!!

I am prefacing this by saying this is my first visit to Team Auto, because I have been burned many mechanics after a very good first impression. HOWEVER, 4 other auto places, including 2 Ford dealerships, told me the loss of power on acceleration was "normal for the Ford Ecoboost engine", and the flashing check engine light with passing was "nothing", or they "couldn't find it". TEAM AUTOMOTIVE, on the other hand, did a tune up and fuel injection system cleaning, and now my truck doesn't lose power anymore, at all, ever, and I have TRIED to make it have problems! I've driven it for a week, and it runs like it's a new truck! The ways I would have made it die before, now just make it accelerate beautifully, and the turbo kicks in just like it's supposed to! What a novel concept! It's like Team Automotive actually heard me when I told them it wasn't accelerating like it was supposed to, and had a "dead spot" when I tried to pass. PLUS, I can actually tell what they did and what it cost because they have a beautifully itemized receipt!

I came to team automotive after trying to air my tires up (unsuccessfully might I add) at the gas station near by. I am a young college student who knows nothing when it comes to cars. I accidentally blew one of my tires up too much, deflated one too much, etc. I came in worried and just needed help getting my tires all at the same air pressure and they had no problem. I felt really dumb, and the man told me it was no problem at all. I was helped right away, and the man didn’t charge me anything. He was really helpful and polite, as was the man who aired my tires up and brought me my car back. This place reminded me of my home town auto repair center, and if I am ever in town again and in need of an auto repair, I will not hesitate to come here!

I really like their system of a service check. Notes of priorities & what to keep a watch on. With that you get the cost of each repair & pictures where appropriate, sent by text or email. Honesty seems to be there as I was told my air filter looked really good. It should have as I personally put in a new one two weeks prior.

I purchased a car remotely from a dealership in town. I asked Team Automotive to inspect the car. This was a big deal because I wasn't going to see the car prior to making the big purchase. They promptly went and got the car, did a very thorough inspection and communicated their findings and allowed me to ask follow-up questions. Later, after I bought the car and it was delivered, I saw that they did an excellent job. There is no question that if I was going to go through a similar remote car buying process in the future, this is the place that I would turn to.

Team Automotive is a fantastic local repair shop. Everyone I worked with was friendly and they provided meaningful recommendations. I received text and email updates letting me know when services were performed and how much they were expected to cost (they did not complete any work outside the scope of my initial request without asking me first). Pricing is not the cheapest you can find, but it is very reasonable and less expensive than most other local auto repair shops. They also use high quality replacement parts and complete their work timely. Scheduling was very easy and I was able to get in right away. I do most maintenance on my vehicle, but I like to have professionals do an inspection every now and again to make sure I’m not missing anything. Their inspection was thorough and I was provided a copy of all their findings. The feedback was honest and they did not push me towards unnecessary repairs. I also very much appreciate that Team Automotive is a one-stop-shop, as their services cover everything from transmission repairs to fluid flushes, as well as electrical components. Whether you need routine maintenance or a complex repair, I would highly recommend taking your vehicles here. I will definitely be a return customer

They did an amazing job. I’m new to the area so I do not have a regular mechanic anymore. I just started working at Ty Teveldal State Farm and they were referred to me by Ty. I originally called in to there 12th st location and they told me they were not able to get me in until at least Friday. It was currently Wednesday. Not the end of the world but my car was borderline probably not going to start up the next day so I was willing but hoping I could get in earlier. They gave me the number to their sister store on W13th St and they got me in right away that day. I told them I figured it was my alternator going out because I have already replaced the battery about 2 months prior. Low and behold it was. For doing the diagnostic and getting the alternator installed it was only around $630 for my 2008 Honda Accord. That was honestly not bad in my opinion because I know alternators are not cheap to replace. I had been quoted much higher other places. I dropped my car off at 1:30pm and it was ready to go by 5:30pm. It was running and warm when I got there. No hassle. I paid and was on my way within 5mins. I 10/10 would use them again.

Home Solutions

I will always go to Team Automotive when I need a mechanic. We had several issues with our F250 6.0 L. We took the truck to Team Automotive immediately upon discovering these issues late Friday evening. They told us right up front what they thought MIGHT be the issue. The next business day (Monday) they were able to get it in and get it diagnosed. They called and told us exactly what the problems were as well as the cost of repairs. After approving the work, they got all of the parts in that same day (Monday). They had all of the repairs completed the following day (Tuesday) and the truck was back on the road. We dropped it off right before they closed on Friday so that day doesn't really count. So basically they had the truck diagnosed, got the repairs approved and had it back on the road in just under two days. I know part of this is just luck since they had an opening in their schedule. However, another part of the quick turn around is the speed in which they work and the dedication & attention to detail from their staff.

We were in Sioux Falls for a medical appointment when the air conditioning clutch burnt up and the car was not going to get us home to Fargo. Another place was too busy to look at it so they sent us to Team Automotive. They were super friendly and reassuring. Team automotive went above and beyond for me. I was always told not to trust mechanic shops because they would assume I knew nothing and would try to scam me out of all my money. I was taught how to do everything from a simple break job to swapping out an engine. One thing I don’t know how to do is tie rods and it just so happened that my van had one that was on it’s way out quickly. Naturally I called my father in law and he told me that it was a safety issue and that I needed to take it to a mechanic. So I called team. I assumed it was the outer tie rod that needed replaced and that’s what I got a quote for. When I took my van in they discovered I needed the inner tie rod and that the boot was completely shredded. They let me know that this was a more expensive repair and asked permission before they proceeded with the repair. When they called for permission they gave me the updated quote and when I picked up my van that’s exactly (down to the penny) what I was charged. I picked up my van and all was well, I hoped on the Interstate and got off on the next exit for gas and to pick my kids up from daycare. When I hopped back on the interstate to head home my van started shaking like crazy and I called team in a panic. Jason answered the phone even though they were already closed and told me to bring it back in and they would take a look. They pulled it into the shop and put it on the lift and immediately spotted the problem. My rims were caked in dried on mud from my mud hole of a driveway and the back tire had kicked off a nice size chunk leaving the tire unbalanced. I’m not sure if it was Jason himself of one of the other guys, but he brought me back and showed me the issue and then proceeded to go above and beyond and scraped all that mud out of my rims. They got me back ok the road in no time without charging me a dime for the extra work or after hours. I will always recommend team to anyone looking for quality work.

This was the first time I took my car to a repair shop and I'm very glad I went to Team Automotive. Kati and all the staff were very friendly and answered any questions I had. Scheduling an appointment for the next day was easy. They did a thorough inspection and provided pictures/descriptions on the work they did. They gave me a ride to work and brought me back when my car was done which is awesome. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. If I have car problems in the future I will definitely be coming back!

I thought my starter needed to be replaced and I told Kati and the folks at Team that information. Turns out it was just a bad wire connected to the starter. They could’ve charged me for replacing the starter and I may have never known the difference but they were honest and only charged me to fix the bad wire. They’ve earned my business.

Yes it sucks having to get my vehicle serviced but they are always on top of whatever the issues is and they don't try and make you fix things that don't need to be fixed! Katie is awesome to deal with! Everyone one of the staff addresses me by name! "Not sure if that is good though" LOL again excellent customer service in a time where customer service doesn't exist anymore!
