I have been a loyal customer of Jeff's Auto Repair for the past 3 years. They have always been very honest and communicative. Steve took great care of us and did everything he could to provide the best service at the best price. We will continue to be loyal customers in the future. I had an appointment at Jeff's for 8 o'clock in the morning and they took my car in promptly and did the service right away. I needed oil change and a new filter, tires rotated and periodic factory recommended maintenance. Dan found several things that needed replacement and I was given a list of things that needed to be done or were recommended and the cost of each. There was no pressure to do anything right away; I'll just look over the cost and recommendations and make an appointment for a longer stay for my car. I was charged the best coupon rate available for my oil change and went on my way. Although no one wants to spend money on repairs, the car is now eight years old and I expected that some parts would need to be replaced. Service done and info provided. Excellent!

Jeff’s Auto Repair does a great job and costs much less than the dealership, which is great. They are honest and make sure to tell you what they recommend and what absolutely should be done, instead of insisting you do unnecessary repairs that your car doesn’t need so they can make more money - like many other shops and dealerships. If you are looking for an honest mechanic that will do quality work and stand behind it, go here. I’m glad I found them, and so is my 175k mile ‘04 Honda Pilot!!

Jeff's Auto stuck with the problem we've had since our first brake job 12 years ago. Brakes would wear out and shimmy prematurely on every brake job we've had since the car was new. At Jeff's, they care, worked on our brakes and replaced disks and pads and master cylinder as needed until they were all working fine. Much of the work covered under their warranty policy. Really happy. The issue was finally solved, we believe. Finally, the brakes are braking evenly on all four wheels. Thank You Steve and Brandon, service managers, and the mechanics, for the extra care to solve an on going issue with our 2008 Chrysler Town and Country.

Always great, friendly service. Replaced my battery but also ran a full check of the electrical system to make sure there weren't any other issues. Very trustworthy; more than once I've come in with a suspected issue that would have been very expensive and that they could have charged me for without me knowing any different, but they identified the problem correctly as something less expensive and labor intensive. A real gem.

Our old car is on its last legs and took it in to see if it was worth fixing. Jeff took a look at it and gave us the run down of its issues and what it would cost to fix at the very least, from most important to least. Decided it was worth getting a newer used car instead of trying to make our car last another year. I could sit here all day and tell you all the great things about Jeff's Auto, but I suggest you take your car there and experience their top level service for yourself. The company I work for takes it fleet vehicles there and that's how I got connected. My last visit there was a rather unfortunate one, but Brandon delivered the news with so much professionalism and genuine care that I knew I was being given a "run for my money". I first took my minivan to Jeff's several years ago when my former mechanic could not diagnose the problem and started treating me as if I made up the fact that my minivan kept stalling on me. I brought the vehicle in to Jeff's for a second opinion and they believed me and took my concerns very seriously. After taking my Minivan out for a long enough drive to get it to stall, they figured out what was amiss and fixed it quickly. Although it took them many hours to figure out what was wrong, they adjusted the fees and were very fair in what they charged me for the diagnosis and repair. I have been taking my vehicle to Jeff's ever since then and have always been treated with respect and fairness. I recently went to Jeff's to have a used car that we were considering buying inspected. They were very thorough and gave us a very complete assessment of the vehicle, including all issues of concern. That particular car did not work out, so we will be returning very soon with the next one that we may be considering for purchase. Thanks to a thorough inspection of another used car, by Jeff's on Sandpoint, I felt confident and purchased this used vehicle for my son. It has been a great car for him and we have continued to bring it to Jeff's for regular maintenance. It felt great to have Jeff's seal of approval before going through with the purchase! Doug has retired but Steve is doing a great job at Jeff's and we will continue to bring both of our cars there!

Jeff and his team are fantastic. I drove up to Seattle form Las Vegas and discovered my struts were blown. Completely shot. I had a very quick turnaround before having to drive back. I informed Jeff of my situation. He ordered the shocks, I dropped my car off the following morning and he kept me in the loop during the repair. He had my car ready to go just after lunch! He knew I had a long trip ahead and checked out the rest of the car and added air to the tires. Top notch. Highly recommend.

Jeff's replaced a failed alternator this week. It was not a surprise since they had checked it a couple years ago and told me it was not 100%, but was good for awhile longer if I wanted to wait. Another shop had told me it was bad and had to be replaced right away. I have used Jeff's for repairs and maintenance of an older Honda for the past few years. I can always trust them to provide reasonable options and to do the work properly.

Steve ( The service Manager ) is very helpful and knowledgeable, and professional. They go through your car and do a safety inspection and check all fluids. They let you know what is wrong and say this needs to be done now or this can wait or we are watching this.Then they let you decide what you want to be done with no pressure. When you pick up your vehicle they will show you the parts they took off and show you why it’s bad. I have never had a problem with any of my vehicles there.

Looking for an honest mechanic that will tell you in detail what is going on with your car? Steve gave me patience and kindness in trying to figure out if it was time to put more work into my car to keep it running or purchase a new vehicle. I also was able to take a used car here for a "buyers package inspection" to make sure it was worth purchasing. They found extensive damage and said I should call my insurance company to see if they would even insure it, they wouldn't. I'm glad I was able to hear the truth from a mechanic and trust they had my best interest in mind. I will be bringing all my cars here and referring everyone I know.

Staff was really friendly but they had our car for 6 hours just to do an oil change. According to our Owner’s manual, another oil change isn’t needed for 7,500 miles if synthetic oil is used but the shop advises bringing the car back for another oil change after 3,000 miles and set the car to light up the oil change signal at 3,000 miles, so just be careful and check your manual. We paid for synthetic oil too.

I've taken my car to Jeff's a few times and the service has always been excellent. The first time was when I had a tail light out-- even though they had to use a special tool to access the light bulb (taking extra time/effort) they still refused payment saying the bulb itself cost "cents". Later on I needed the brakes worked on, and they talked me through everything they found and everything they proposed to fix, including the cost of each step/component, before asking my consent to proceed. The explanation was extremely detailed and got down to the basics (which I needed) without coming off as condescending. Overall I am very satisfied with the work done and the customer service.

I found this place through a family member and I wish i had known about this place sooner! There is no other place to go for any of your car needs. They were able to get me in quickly, update me on their diagnostics and the best part of it all, once the crew has the results after diagnostics, they will call you with what to do and will ONLY DO WHAT YOU GIVE PERMISSION TO. So, they offered me a loaner car to use - I didn't even know that was an option! - and they called me when they said they would to give me updates. I placed my trust in Doug and the team at Jeff's within a few visits over 10 years ago. Recently I took my hyundai 350XG in for 100K service and was a bit overwhelmed at the the cost of parts..the price for having a higher end car. As I expected I received a detailed report with each job, labor and parts detailed. Recently the car exhaust system failed due to an apparent manufacturers defective design, the repair was expensive. Doug as always made sure I understood the repair, the safety implications and he made the repair as economical as possible. I travel to have Jeff's maintain and service my car!!!! Jeff's Auto Repair is the only place I trust leaving my car. I started going there because it was near where I lived at the time, but now even though I live on the other side of the city, I continue to take my car there. I experimented with other reputable car shops near my new house, but their quotes on service was way higher than the quotes at Jeff's. Jeff's is also excellent at saying what fixes are necessary, and which are not urgent. I won't take my car anywhere else.

I emailed them on a AAA recommendation as my car had been broken into and the door lock was smashed. Doug got back to me very quickly and we talked through the problem on the phone. He promised to call back within 35 - 40 mins with some prices. I've heard that before so I wasn't holding my breath.... But he called back as promised and quoted me a 'worst case scenario' price. In the past garages have, for the most part, stuck to this high price but, when I took my car in they called me with an updated price that was around half of the original estimate. Car service was good at first glance as far as I can tell. A little expensive, but that might just be the area. People were nice and transparent about the range when my car would be ready. Disappointed that I was not told there was a AAA discount, even though the guy asked me if I had AAA while checking out. I didn't realize it until leaving when I saw the sign for AAA discounts on the door. He told me I'd receive "double discount" next time I come in, which is a little unfair, because now I need to have another reason to come in (and be charged another ~$300) to even make that up. It's 2017, you can issue a refund and then ring up my card again! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.
