Clean title, they provided the information I asked for, and with any used car buying experience, it is ultimately up to the buyer if they want to proceed with whatever used car they want to buy. River Auto Solutions weren’t pushy salesmen, and they merely presented the information they had. Good people overall, and the car I purchased is running great.

This is a company you can feel 100% confident in your purchase. More can be said about the integrity of a company when issues arise than can be said in a completely smooth transaction. I believe this company when they say that if they wouldn't send their relative off in the car they do not want to send their customer off in it. They want you to have a wonderful experience with your vehicle and to feel good about the money you are investing. I purchased my 2009 Subaru Forester from them about a month ago and I'm certain it was their intention to sell me a solid reliable car. However, within the first 100 miles I started having issues. Because I live far from their shop I tried working with my local shop whom I trust. 3 different times at the approx 100 mile mark of an issue being "resolved" the issue would resurface. This time my shop was telling me it was a huge costly issue that would require me to take it to the dealership to be fixed. I got in contact with Nic at Rivers Auto Solutions, understandably upset and looking to see what they would do to make it right. I expected to be ignored as any other dealership would do once they already have your money it's no longer their problem. This is not how they do business! He made arrangements for me to bring my car down to be fixed and set me up with a loaner while they fixed my car. They also went above and beyond, and at my request drove it an additional 150 mile to make sure no new lights or issues arose. I am beyond impressed with this company from their no pressure sales tactics to their above the board customer service. They will always have my business. I'm saving up for my next vehicle already knowing I will be buying it from them when the time comes!

Came here to look at the 2014 Toyota Camry SE they had for sale. Worked with Mason, he let me take it for a test drive even with lugging around babies. After deciding it was the car for me, Mason was very cooperative, helpful, and quick with helping me get into the car. In total, with having to go to my bank to get the approval, I was there for 2 1/2 hours from start to finish. Things went very smoothly and I was very amazed with the full service provided. The great reviews plus word of mouth are definitely something that stands by with this place. If I ever need to purchase another car, and they have it, I’ll be coming back for sure! Thanks again!

I’ve never left an online review for anything before, but as soon as Tane started working with me on my Subaru I knew I would be giving a huge shoutout. After corresponding with countless other companies trying to sell my old Forester, I finally got to speak with a real person (who happens to have over 35 years of experience). Tane reached out to answer my questions at 7:30 on a Thursday night from his own cell phone, and set up a time for me to drop off my car the next afternoon. Unfortunately, I overestimated the capabilities of my poor old clunker and ended up on the side of I-80. Tane responded immediately to my call with this news, came to the rescue on the side of the road with a cooler full of drinks, and even offered me a tow. In the end, our deal was made promptly and I got to leave Tane’s shop without the burden of my old Subaru, any paperwork, or hassle. I am grateful for his professionalism and kind attitude, and will be revisiting Rivers Auto Solutions in the future.

Bought this immaculate 1992 Nissan pick up truck from Big Tane at Rivers auto solutions, not only did they give me a discount from there listed price, but they also gave me a list of the new things they replaced and repaired On the truck, I would recommend these guys to my family and friends and anyone else who is looking for an honest and friendly place to get a quality used vehicle. After my purchase I experienced some difficulty with my emergency brake, Rivers Auto solutions and Big Tane send a tow truck from Salt Lake City to Roy . And repaired it for me with no charge for the repair or tow truck, now that’s great service. My daughter will be looking for a vehicle soon and there’s is the first lot that I will take her because I’m sure she will find something she loves. And knowing that this Company will stand behind it.

I purchased a used car from here recently and it was a great experience after dealing with slimy car dealership sales people. The whole process was incredibly smooth, and not once did I feel like they were trying to add on extra fees or trick us into spending more money. Since they are an auto shop, they were easily able to fix any issues there were with the car for us. Everyone there was incredibly nice and helpful; we specifically worked with Mason and he was awesome. I would definitely reccomend this place to anyone.

I waited to write a review because I wanted to make sure there were no “bandaid” fixes to the car that would wear off in the weeks after purchasing the vehicle. Luckily I have not had any problems and my mechanic gave his stamp of approval as well. The staff was awesome, very different than the staff you might get at a large dealership. My husband and I were impressed with Big T's kindness and willingness to negotiate and help find the best car at the best price for her. We had spent a lot of time looking for a good one. We had this car checked by a third party mechanic and it became clear that they had taken good care of the car and truly done all the maintenance for it to be a good buy. I purchased a 2005 Jeep Liberty from Big Tane. My wife and I were excited to have a little bigger vehicle for our newborn child. The car seemed like an excellent purchase... until the check engine light came on 2-3 days after the purchase. After running the codes, I was horrified to discover a major issue with the engine. Potentially $1,500-$3,000 to repair out of pocket. After looking at engine code history, it came to our attention that the issue was there before the vehicle purchase. I believe Big Tane and his team thought they had fixed the issue with the vehicle. It is clear to me that they thought they had previously fixed the big issue and were selling a great running car. Big Tane showed his true character throughout this experience. Tane is an HONEST and CARING human. He worked with me for weeks to get the problem resolved. Big Tane got the issue fixed and did not leave me out to dry like most second hand dealerships would. Although a little frustrating, the overall experience has been exceptional. I would absolutely buy from Tane again. Thank you!

As a first time car buyer, someone who is very inexperienced the realm of cars in general, and a woman, I had a lot of fears surrounding finding my first car as I have heard many stories of people like me being manipulated and tricked into buying terrible cars or being overcharged simply because the dealer felt that they could get a way with it. I had been searching for the right car for a couple of months when I came across the car I eventually purchased from Rivers Auto. I had a feeling that I would be driving it home. This intuition was confirmed by the wonderful descriptions of not only the car I was interested in, but every other car on their page. It made it obvious that the people at Rivers Auto are truly knowledgeable and care about each car they sell. The day I decided I was interested in looking at the car I messaged Tane, the owner, and he responded within minutes. Just a few hours later I was at the dealership test driving the car. I was offered a wonderful finance plan that allowed me to pay for most of the car upfront and pay off the rest later which made the purchase so much less intimidating. I also want to acknowledge the other people that work at Rivers Auto, in particular Nik, who helped me test drive the car and filled out all of my paper work. I am transgender and have not yet legally changed my name. I was so worried that when I was able to buy a car I would run into discrimination when it came time to explain my situation, but Nik was nothing but kind and handled everything so professionally. Every person there continued using my correct name and pronouns, and I thought that that little moment really made my experience worthwhile and removed a huge anxiety from my car buying journey. While I don’t know the names of every person that has helped me, since there are also wonderful mechanics that also work at Rivers Auto Solutions, I also want to acknowledge their contribution to the business. Today I was able to pick up my plates and now it all feels official. Zach helped me put them on my car and he was very nice as well. Rivers Auto Solitions has been a wonderful place to buy my first car!

Tane has been great. He gave me a good deal for a Honda Civic and so far it has done me well. I've had it 4 months. Someone reversed into me and did quite a bit of damage and Tane has been helping me and answering all my questions. I will update this review on the mechanical service. Great so far. And it has been a relief since I'm international and trying to find a trustworthy mechanic and salesperson.

After a month of searching for a half decent car in our price range we found Rivers Auto and thank heavens we did. He gave us a WONDERFUL deal on a beautiful car. I brought up a few concerns I had about the body of the car and they took care of it all. The hood had two little rust spots on it and I asked if there was anything simple that could be put on it to prevent further rusting. He did one better. It looks like the entire hood was fixed and repainted! I was not expecting that. Nick and Tane went above and beyond. We hope to do business with them in the future.

Car sold for cash is an amazing and fair business. My family and I have done business with them twice and each time has been a great experience. Experiencing a situation where your vehicle has done it's time and you wish there was a way to feel better about letting your it go, car sold for cash helps ease the problem. Tane's is great he remember's us from our first exchange when my car got a bent rad and we were in a pickle. It was our only car and didn't really have any money to jump up and buy another car. When we found this business we were able to get a lump some of money for our car and it helped with the expense to get a new used car. Now after three years we had another truck that has done its time and just is not worth the repairs so we called Tane's again and got another lump some for our old truck. I bought a truck from Big Tane a couple months ago. Big Tane listed the truck online well below it’s value, I happened to luck out with being the first to set up an appointment with to see it. I was not able to make it first thing in morning so my dad went to the appointment for me. He drove the truck and called to say it was in great shape. My dad gave Big Tane a small deposit to hold the truck until I was able to come get it after work. He was getting calls non stop all day with better offers on the truck, but Big Tane held to his word and kept it for me even though he could have sold it for more very easily. Top notch honest man. Would definitely use him again for my next vehicle.

I will rant and rave about these guys until I am blue in the face!! Two years ago I had a Honda Civic that had gotten stolen and whoever stole it blew out my head gaskets. Tane was nice enough to meet me in sugar house to give me a check and then have my car towed away from Sandy. Now two years later, I had him come and pick up my Subaru that broke down and as we got to talking he told me about a 2011 Hyundai Sonata that he had for sale. Two days later I’ve been approved through America First and I’m driving away with a car I can have for many years to come! Nick walked me through the paperwork and Tane even went to the bank with me! We had a bid from on online source for scrap and wanted to see what Rivers Auto Solutions would offer. Can you believe that the fuel gauge was broken and he suggested we put some gas in the car first and test to see if it would turn over before making a decision. He could have totally scammed us and offered a low price for scrap and taken the Yukon away. We are so grateful there are honest people still around willing to make the choice for truth. Tane was great! I totaled my 2005 Corolla and did not have collision insurance - a very bad day. I called several places and no one wanted to work with me. I spoke with Tane and he was SUPER helpful, my air-bags had not deployed so there was some value there. He even went down to the place my car was towed to check it out without me having to go (I was in SLC, car was towed in Sandy). That day he gave me a call, we worked out a very fair price for my totaled vehicle which included the towing costs, Tane paid the tow company so I didn't have to deal with it - he even paid for an additional day above what we agreed upon. He came to my apartment so we could work out the paperwork and payment and even brought my frazzled self some cookies. Such a great experience for such a bad day. Once they got my car they even packed up all my stuff in it and put it in a box in the trunk so when I went to the yard to pick up my belongings it was super easy - and all the guys are a delight! I would recommend anyone selling a car to work with Cars Sold for Cash - they were awesome!

Bought a 2011 Toyota Camry from River Auto. The whole experience was great. They thoroughly inspected the car and fixed everything. The car was clean and in great shape. After completing the sale, I drove off the lot and a tire sensor came on. They had it fixed immediately at no additional charge. I was impressed. They keep there word.
