Easy and easy out parking lot although the parking out front is a little bit narrow. At night it is well lit. The parking lot and front of the store is ultra clean and the inside of the store is also Ultra nice and clean and very well organized and very well stocked. I had them to check my check engine light and they diagnosed and printed out what was wrong and I bought the part I was in and out in about 10 minutes. I highly recommend this auto parts store. I know there is so many other auto parts stores in Salt Lake City but this one has the best customer service. The employees are so friendly and help with any questions. They are happy to help you with your car if you need to replace your bulbs or engine test. I know other stores offer the same but I'm disabled and one part's store was very annoyed that I asked and said they didn't know how to replace the taillight in my car. It wasn't a problem at O'Reilly's it was done in less than a minute. I appreciate the employees at this location and I will always go there for whatever I may need for my car and refer them to everyone.

I went to one of your other locations (redwood) and they refused to install my battery. I ended up calling this location (state street) and Rey was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond. I was having battery issues and, I forgot to get her name, but the woman with the pink hair, she was patient with my zero car knowledge and checked my battery, explained what was the issue and recommended a new one where the cold would not stop my car from starting (I just moved here from out of state). I went in Friday afternoon with the air in my car smelling gross, not only did Justin help me find the right parts he exceeded my expectations and helped replace my Cabin air filter and air filter. The staff here were so incredibly helpful. I needed help changing my battery and the young man who helped me was so friendly and kind at a time when I was really stressed. He worked extremely hard to get my battery out which was corroded and disgusting. It was blazing hot outside and he didn't have one complaint and did everything with a smile. Great auto parts store. Phil was a true customer service expert. He helped out me and my nephew with a new, used Subaru that I helped my nephew buy. He gave us tips about things to watch for and general maintenance info and then he came out to the car and went through it a bit with us. His insight was very helpful and most appreciated.

Went in to buy a part and order a part, found out that they are just a little better than the rest! Less busy than competition nearby, easy to get help with knowledgeable staff. They have multiple warehouse deliveries a day, so you can get most things from thier site same day. Will start making this my new automotive part stop.

I've had to replace the starter on my car several times (bad design flaw placing it right under the oil filter), and since the first time, I've used the lifetime warranty offered by O'Reilly on the part. This visit, the manager couldn't find the original account, but used my receipts as verification and linked the warranty to my phone number. GREAT service!

I’ll take this place over Autozone because they seem a little less busy but are equally/more capable. I’ve been in here a few times and all the guys are very knowledgeable and eager to help. Last night Don got right down to business and helped me figure out why my blower wasn’t working in about 60 seconds flat. Very professional and saved me a ton of time and money.

I came in on a Sunday night, about 2 hours before closing. The day prior, both of my lower lamp headlights had gone out within an hour of each other and because they are the high density kind, they are more expensive and harder to get to than say an older model SUV. The 2 men working were very helpful and one even grabbed his toolbox and came outside with my 2 friends and I to see if he would be able to get to them to change for me; he even got additional tools from his own vehicle, when what he had from the store proved ineffective! We were in and out and back on the road in less than 30 minutes, which I am extremely grateful for because I had no idea how to do this myself. Thank you so much!

I returned two unused parts that I didn’t need for a fix and purchased a heater blower resistor. They accidentally scanned and charges me twice for the resistor. The next day Brayden from called me to let me know they accidentally double charged me. I went back to the store and he refunded me the overage. Great service and knowledgeable staff!

Good selection of most things automotive. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Hassle free tool loaning program so you don't have to buy a $100+ tool that you'll only use every 10 years. They also do rotor resurfacing. Everything I want in an auto part store.

This is my regular auto parts store. Auto Zone is closer, but generally their staff is not as knowledgeable, and they are typically crowded. On the other hand, I've only had one issue with a staff member at this O'Reilly, and that was easily remedied by asking to speak to another associate. I've also noticed other auto parts stores have sometimes just added items to my purchase,and told me when I called them on it "Well you need it for that repair anyway, so we just grabbed it for you." Besides the fact that it is not true, it is also out of line even if it were true. O'Reilly has not done that to me as of this writing. That and they carry Hot Wheels for my little guy for $1.69, so there is something for everyone.

I just went in thinking I needed a door lock actuator for my car as the door unlatched light stayed on and the courtesy lights stayed on as well as the ring around the ignition stayed on. All the power would not shut off so I was scared my battery would drain and I would be out of a car and no way to get to work, drop my kids off at school in the morning nor pick them up after work (since my car is completely dependant on the battery which sucks at times since I can't even open the doors to unlatch the hood to jump the car). Well I went in and this AMAZING guy named Don helped me. He could not find any products for my door. Then asked a bit about it and went out side with me in a wind storm and realized the problem and while O'Reilly doesnt carry the part, he took it off for me so that the lights would turn off and I could go on and find the part elsewhere while having a piece of mind knowing my battery would not be drained. Honestly awesome service. Thank you so much @Don!!! O'Reilly is lucky to have you

I bought an old Jeep that needed a lot of attention and love, and this O'Reilly has been incredibly helpful. I have to share my experience here because it was amazing. I went in to get some de-icer spray, and ended up leaving with a lot more than that, in a good way! I picked up some windshield wipers too, but asked for some help to get them on because I can't ever figure them out. The sweet girl helping me, Sarah, helped me pick out the right wipers, and then she took me out to my car and installed them for me! The wipers were a pain in the butt with the adapters and all that but with Sarah and Braydon's help, I was all set! Just before I left, I remembered I needed to get some washer fluid and I mentioned that my washer fluid pump hadn't been working, but I didn't have the funds to fix it and have just been using a squirt bottle when things get too crazy. Sarah enthusiastically offered to look up the part. They had the part and she recommended I go to Master Muffler and talk to Don to see if he could help me out and fix it. I left, found Don, and he fixed my broken pump! The part ended up not being the right part, but I was able to return it with no hassle at all, and they remembered me the next day! I've always had a great experience at this O'Reilly, but I just had to share this because it was the best and I am a customer for LIFE. Of both this location AND Master Muffler. Thank you Sarah and Braydon!

I live in the neighborhood and prefer this OReily over the Autozone that's nearby. The staff is friendlier here and I'm always helped quickly (unlike autozone where it always seems understaffed). They're always super happy to help me out, special order anything, arrange pickup for special items at their warehouse, or most recently, help me find my AC port for a recharge. They're just friendly and helpful here with no attitude.

O'Reilly is always good for those short trips when you really need some crucial, small part/tool when working on any car project. The only problem with O'Reilly is the sky-high prices for parts. I was quoted ~$35 per brake rotor: astronomical given that I could order them online for ~$12 per rotor. I guess that is the price you pay for convenience .

Ok sooooo me and my brother in-law got ourselves into a pickle...no problem easy breazy, right? Confident in our mechanic skills (l have none) we charged ahead and attempted to fix a battery issue. I was referred to this door by another store in order to get my fob for my pickup truck that I just bought. Instead of ordering a new fob, he suggested an alternative of a cloth like case with a built-in hook or clasp if you will, which allowed me to attach it to my keychain as originally intended, but at a tenth of the price of replacement.
